We went into Warby Parker for an eye exam and to purchase new glasses. We were greeted immediately but there was one person ahead of us for the eye exam. I must mention, my wife did make an appointment beforehand so it was scheduled. We waited about 20 minutes or so and she was called in. This Warby Parker is conveniently located inside the Brea Mall so I took the kids around the mall to browse the stores while she was at her appointment. Her appointment was about 30-45 minutes long. When she called me to head back, everything was ready to be paid for. The nice young lady that helped us (I might get her name wrong but I think her name was Alyssa) helped look through my insurance information because I can't remember the last time I looked into it. She gave me the break down on what my coverage was and what my allowance was for glasses. Safe to say, I'll be receiving a reimbursement check in the mail so I was happy. The selection of glasses was pretty good. They had a lot of styles to choose from for both men and women. The price range for them was also a solid bang for your buck in my opinion. I would recommend this place if you're looking for glasses (or sunglasses) just make sure to schedule an appointment so you can just walk in and not have to worry about them not being able to see you that day (yes, pun intended)

The office assistant escorted us to get the eye images and screening questions done. When asked about current medications, I replied that we only administer Advil or Motrin for fevers and pain, and she didn't ask any follow-up questions. Instead, she led us back to the exam room to wait for the doctor. As soon as we entered the room, my daughter dropped her belongings and dove into playing with her slime. The doctor walked in just as my daughter was reaching for tissues to wipe off excess hand sanitizer. The doctor's expression was puzzling - I couldn't tell if it was her natural demeanor or a look of distaste. "Oh, I heard your daughter is sick," she said, and I confirmed, "Yes, she was, last week". Given her medical expertise and credentials I expected more in-depth questioning. Instead, it seemed like she relied on assumptions rather than gathering thorough information about my daughter's medical history. It was surprising that she didn't take the opportunity to ask more questions and gather useful insights before or during our visit. She just looked at my daughter and told her "yeah, you look miserable" I was taken aback when the doctor said those exact words to my 12-year-old daughter. Her choice of words was not only unprofessional but also potentially damaging to a young and impressionable mind. It made me wonder how healthcare professionals in this office speak about patients when they're not within earshot. So I questioned her "what?? miserable? how can you tell her that. You have poor choice of words". And she said "well she doesn't look very well" and tried to rephrase it in other ways and started giving me the definition of miserable. I was appalled when the doctor offered to see my daughter another day. Why would I subject my child to a healthcare "professional" who lacks empathy and basic diagnostic skills? The doctor's failure to ask fundamental questions about allergies, medical history, and symptoms was staggering. Instead, she made assumptions based on a single observation - my daughter grabbing tissues. Her incompetence was alarming, and I wouldn't trust her to provide adequate care for my daughter or anyone in my family. Now I wonder, if other people knew, would they trust her to treat and diagnose their vision? Witnessing a healthcare professional in a white coat behave so unprofessionally was extremely upsetting. What's worse, instead of apologizing directly to my daughter for her hurtful comment, the doctor downplayed the situation by offering a casual invitation to return another time. Her lack of accountability and empathy was appalling, and ignoring my daughter's feelings only added to the harm. A simple acknowledgment and apology would have gone a long way in resolving the issue. Instead, her indifference compelled me to share our distressing experience, serving as a cautionary tale about the importance of empathy in healthcare. After declining her services, I walked out of the office. As I was walking to my car, I realized I needed to return for a doctor's note for my daughter's school. When I went back, it was clear that the doctor was gossiping with the front desk staff about our encounter. 5-7 people huddled in the front desk, like Jesus! you couldn't wait until I left the parking lot at least? The unprofessionalism was staggering - but not surprising; instead of reflecting on her behavior, she was sharing our personal business with others. So much for privacy rights.

I was immediately welcomed in by the sweetest girls working the front. I was seen by Dr. Randy, who give me so much insight on what I can do resolve my eye discomforts and with my vision. He gave such a thorough explanation of what he saw within my test results, which I really appreciate as someone with minor knowledge on anatomy of the eyes. I was then passed on to the lovely girls up front to pick out my glasses and they were so helpful! The girl helping me noticed I was very conflicted with so many wonderful choices in eyewear, she brought out the whole office team, including Dr. Jennie to help me decide! Such a great moment and really gave me a feel of how much they care for the customers and treat you like family. I will always recommend this place to family and friends! Such amazing service!

The guy at the front desk on 3/9 Monday morning, literally said " I just work here, if you want to complain, you can wait until my manager gets here in like 40 mins or come back another day" Like other customer complains, my time is precious and not being able to see patients when appointments are confirmed online should be taken seriously. If we need to bring confirmation email or proof, as long as it's notified, we are happy to do so. But when it's not the patients fault, they need to make up for our time.

ONLY PLACE THAT CAN HELP!!!…read more So I accidentally took a nap on a very expensive pair of eyeglasses put them in a desk drawer and retired them.. was forced to buy another pair. Fast forward like 3 years later one of my twins (not naming which one) likely took my glasses and either threw them away or put them with the rest of our lost buried treasures of things that go missing. I was forced to wear my glasses that lived in the drawer when I worked at my desk then decided since I had the parts that their had to be a way to have them fixed. Went to a couple of places claiming they could fix but I was told they were unrepairable and should buy new ones.... I almost gave up and gave in. UNTIL! I came across FIXMYGLASSES online that is actually World Optic on state college they took me right in and rushed my glasses into surgery and miraculously brought them back to life!! On Tuesday 1/27/27 I received email confirmation of delivery to their shop and a separate email with assessment options and prices. I paid $79 for the basic option of nose pad modification. They even preemptively chose the gold nose pad arms to compliment the frames (I didn't add specific cosmetic requests in my order). By Saturday 1/31, I gave them a call to ask about the status of my glasses which they let me know were shipping out that day. Today, 2/2, I received my brand new, perfectly fitting Miu Miu glasses and couldn't be any happier!
