Dropped by this Brea Mall Oakley location to return a pair of sunglasses I ordered online, that did t fit me well. As I walked in, I was greeted by Cesar and asked how my day was going not "how can I help you", which I thought was really cool. Cesar was able to help me with my online return, and even gave me a little history lesson on the sunglasses. He let me know they were a reimagined pair of the very 1st Oakley sunglasses ever made. The very 1st model from Oakley. After I knew this, I was sad that they didn't fit as Cesar said gave me great insight to some limited edition legacy sunglasses made by Oakley. My many thanks to Cesar for the great interaction at Oakley Brea. He was professional, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service. As the indecisive person that I am, I can confidently say Sergio was the best worker there. I went into Oakley not really knowing what style I wanted, and Sergio was patient the entire time. He didn't rush me, didn't pressure me, and actually took the time to explain the differences between the frames and lenses so I could make the right decision. What stood out most was how knowledgeable he was. He answered all my questions clearly and made sure I understood what I was paying for. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers rather than just making a sale. Customer service like that is rare these days. Had an unsatisfactory experience with store manager Jeremy Bullard. Attempted returning a pair of $250 sunglasses that were bought over Father's Day weekend only to hear that my return couldn't be completed due to an apparent scratch on the lenses. Unless I was sold damaged goods there is no reason the sunglasses would have a scratch on the lenses. Only had the glasses for 3 days! The only time they were out of the package was when they were shown to me in store. It is ridiculous how I was only offered an exchange of goods as opposed to a refund. He also damaged the box containing the sunglasses when re-packaging. Very unprofessional. read more

We got an Airbnb last weekend in Palm Springs with all the homies and their wives. Saturdays are for the boys so we went golfing in 100000 degree weather. I had cheap glasses on so my eye balls still burnt. Which bring me to brea Oakley.. golf sun glassses that dad life. I was approached immediately by a young man who was basically finishing my sentences and brought a chart out because he knew what I was looking for. Spent the next 30 min while he was cleaning the display glasses that he sold me on like his life depended on it. Super pleasant and easy to talk to.. dropping shuttle hints that it's buy 1 get one half off. I forgave him for being a saints fan and bought 2 pair. His name was Michael, and he's a saints fan. Then I was met at the cash register by a young man named Mario. I got a vibe he was like the guy they call out in dealerships from a hidden lounge when you try to walk out. So I tested his closing skills and pretty much asked him why I should buy this pen. His delivery was smooth, the bullshit that was coming out of his mouth was aligning and making sense, and his closing was smooth as he wrapped up so which one do you think you should buy. Not even giving me a choice to say no. I was legitimately impressed, but being the best salesman on the planet, I did not add to my purchase. The best experience I've had in a while and it's hard to find knowledgeable, hardworking, friendly young adults these days. Oakley is a quality company and it is made possible by employees like this. Wow, I was extremely impressed with this Oakley store! The store was nice and roomy and had many options. The mainly had sun glasses but they also had some clothes and sports gear. They had a changing room in the back that was also very spacious. The staff were quick to help me out and they were friendly. You do have to pay for the nice quality at Oakley, that would be the only downside. Everyone should go check out this Oakley at the Brea mall! read more

I recently purchased a pair of Oakley Sutro's from another location and took them to this store because I was in the area. My lens has some sort of stain on them from the little diamond shaped sticker indicating they are prism lenses. Once in the store the associate tried to clean them and said he couldn't see it. I couldn't see it at the time either. I think it has something to do with the type of light in the store. They treated me like I was crazy and I left. Once outside I put the Glasses on and my wife said it's there and you can see it. Not a happy customer. Will not return to this store. Below is a picture of the "stain". Terrible customer service had a pair of glasses hand yo buy was approached by a young lady with an attitude she can give her man not me. She never heard of the fat tacos and she works for Oakley. So that is when she treated me like shit. Strange I was just trying to purchase other glasses what was a 500+ sale became zero. I have no time for power trippin females without product knowledge telling me there is no such thing. Came here needing casual sunglasses because I misplaced my pair of Oakley sunglasses. This place is located closer to the Macy side of the mall on the second floor. Walked into the store and browsed around to see which sunglasses I was going to get that day. Took about 15 min and found one I thought was pretty much what I was looking for. Except, I had to do some customization because I didn't like the current colors on them. They had some shiny grey O's on the side and I changed them to black. After I got my sunglasses customized, they got washed in the fancy washing machine for glasses. Overall, I'm content with what I got. Customization cost an additional $20. read more

I put in an online order for an Oakley-branded facemask on 11/18 to be shipped to this Oakley Store, since it was the closest one within driving distance. On 11/19, I get an email that it's been shipped. On 11/23, thinking that it already arrived, I stopped by to see if they had received it. I was told that they did not and profusely apologized. However, since the store had a few on their displays, I was tempted to pluck one and pay for it on the spot. But because I did not want to deal with the hassle of returning a product that had shipped, and because I thought the online order was at a sale price, I left empty-handed. On 11/25, out of sheer curiosity I went back to my email and saw that there was a tracking link, so I clicked it. According to the USPS.com's tracking service, USPS attempted delivery to the store on 11/23, received a return to sender request (probably made by the store - who else?) on 11/24, sent it on its way back to Oakley's facility in Georgia on 11/25, and delivered it back to Oakley's facility in Georgia on 11/30. It's 12/2 as I write this review, so basically 14 days have passed by, and obviously this Oakley Store still has not received the facemask I ordered. may have to keep having things shipped to this store for my future orders, but I hope that someone at this store (or at corporate or whoever else from wherever else that reads this review) owns up to this extraordinary failure to fulfill a simple, inexpensive online order. read more

I purchased some sunglasses online (Oakley website), and Jeremy was able to give me a better deal at the store. There were some issue with the return, but Jeremy took care of this immediately, and even followed up with an update email. The salesgirl showed me the custom options, but once I settled on the gascan frames she brought out all frame colors and lense options to make it easy to decide which I preferred. I came in with my 3 year old, but she was very understanding and didn't let his hyper activity phase the sale. So, after getting my prescription glasses from another Oakley location I decided to get my son and my daughter Oakley glasses too. I came to the Brea location as it is much closer to my house, I called and made an appointment with Jacob., Little did I know I was going to get help from one of Oakley's best employees. Jacob is one of the most helpful, knowledgeable employees I have encountered in my life! And I mean from every single store I have ever purchased something. He is definitely there in the top five. He will make sure you leave the store satisfied with your purchase and goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. I hate when I go to a store and my kids are placing an order or asking a question and they get totally ignored or the employee would answer me or ask me additional questions. I always tell them "they are the ones asking you the questions, not me." I would understand if your kid is a toddler, but mine are 11 and 13; perfectly capable of asking questions. Jacob treated them like people since the first second they walked in the store. He asked them the questions and showed them frames that he knew they would like based on his conversation with them. That alone earned points in my book. If there was anything he needed to tell us he made sure he would address my wife and I,. All I have to say is that after my experience with Jacob I will make all my Oakley purchases from this location, Do yourself a favor, if you need prescription glasses go visit Jacob. Both went above and beyond in being able to answer any questions I had on any products, due to their own personal experience in separate products, I was amazed!
