My niece introduced me to this business and now all our family members get their eyes checked and get their prescription contacts, glasses, and sun glasses from here. Customer service was amazing! We went to pick up my niece's contacts that came in, the gentleman at the counter went far as signing her up with the lense maker to get her rebate. He didn't just hand her the paperwork and tell her to do it, but he did it for her right there on the spot. On the next visit, I took my frame with an old lens to be replaced with a new prescription, after seeing their doctor. Everything was super efficient, super friendly, and at great prices. In addition, I asked them if they can replace a nose pad I had lost on a pair of sunglasses that I bought somewhere else, and she gladly said yes!, and replaced it free of charge. She also told me if I lose it or damage it, feel free to come by and have it replaced free of charge. Wow! Just wow! I've never had an optical appointment quite like this. The whole experience was definitely unforgettable. When I entered Unicorn Optical, I was looking for some sunglasses. I also wanted to peep out the options for my husband whenever he needs a replacement for his current glasses. Happy to say that they do accept my work's vision insurance for my husband, which is Eye Med. As soon as I entered, I was offered the choice of a free drink during my experience. I chose the iced coffee, and it was delicious. If you have children, they have a cute little play area for them. If you have any other guest with you, they can enjoy a massage chair while they wait. I love that they offer eye exams and glasses adjustments on site. Super convenient! There are so many cool Korean brands, affordable brands, and even lots of luxury brands! I tried out some styles from Carin, Celine, Gucci, and Oakleys. I used the photo booth option on the Ipad thing to take some pics with different styles because sometimes just trying the glasses on in front of a mirror might not be enough. Ended up choosing these blue Radar EV Path Oakleys that I could use for snowboarding, biking, and other adventurous activities. Fell in love! My purchase came with a hard case, cleansing spray, and cleaning cloth. Definitely would want to come back and take my husband to come see the options. Do not trust the high ratings on Yelp or Google. I came here through a recommendation that I shouldn't have trusted, because I asked the man who the examiner was and they refused to tell me. Confused, I found out later through word of mouth that the doctor was under fire from a different clinic so that's why he moved to this clinic. I quickly left after that interaction and after hearing that rumor, and was inclined to read other reviews and read here that they refused to share the name of the "doctor" to a different customer and it all makes sense. If I remember correctly, their response was that customers should make an appointment first, but my response to that would be, why would they do that first, when they can't look up the name or trust the credentials of the person who'd be examining them? The staff or the doctor information is nowhere to be found on their website either, and frankly, I'm not exactly sure how they're still in business since their social media seems to advertise claw games/giveaways more than the quality of their goods and customer service. I was truly shocked at the lack of professionalism and their strange defensiveness around this particular topic. Judging by the other negative reviews and their responses, their management seems extremely unprofessional, and apology seems rarely offered. I have never witnessed or experienced such negative handling of clients for such simple question? I turned around walked right out and would never come back and advise you to do your own research and also stay away. read more

This place was recommended by someone so I took my mom for an eye exam. Their website says $20 but that's only if you buy their glasses. They should probably write that on their website so there's no confusion. However, they did mention that when I called to make an appointment so that wasn't an issue. If you want to take your time trying on different glasses, you should go on the weekdays. I heard Saturdays are busiest. I like to mention that their staff is nice and very helpful. And the eye exam went really quickly. As for price, some are very pricey. They do have more affordable ones but the ones we chose weren't. The lady who was helping us was patient and didn't push to sell the expensive ones. She asked us for a price range but we went over at the end. read more
