Our first experience was great! We went early on a Saturday. Made a reservation for 5:15 through their website but probably didn't need one at that time. Only a few other people when we arrived, but by the time we left around 6:45 it was starting to get busier. Was impressed with the wine selection. They let us a taste a few to decide on a bottle. Paid about $45 for a bottle of Zinfandel, which I think is pretty reasonable at a nice restaurant. My husband and I each ordered the burger. It was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had! Brie cheese, arugula, bacon, fig jam, and cooked absolutely perfectly. We were impressed that they even got the temperatures right. I ordered mine medium and my husband ordered his medium-well, and both were absolutely perfect. The fries it came with were also perfectly crispy. I bit expensive at about $22 (I think?), but the quality made it worth it. Service was great. Attentive without hovering and making you feel awkward. I arrived a bit early but luckily, they had the table ready. While the food menu is somewhat limited, the wine menu is quite impressive and extensive. Nonetheless, we ordered the chicken sandwich and burger which both come with a side of fries. Though the menu is limited, the items are done well. The burger was juicy while the fries were crisp. Huge gold star considering I'm a bit of a fry snob. Unlike some of the other restaurants on State, this restaurant allowed me and my friend to have a conversation over a bottle of wine which was awesome. Bottles of wine vary from around $40 - $300 depending on your choosing. Redlands definitely need a wine bar so I'm stoked to see this addition to the neighborhood. read more

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Redlands and the IE. The food is amazing, the other night I had a filet that I was able to cut with a butter knife because it was so tender and excellently cooked. My wife and I have started to go several times a month and every time the atmosphere, drinks, and food are amazing. The service also is excellent. Our waiters are always friendly, knowledgeable, and personable but they also don't stick around too long so you can enjoy a conversation with your company. The other night we brought our baby on a date night, not only did the owners greet us and were so accommodating and kind, but they ensured we had a wonderful night. Our server was attentive and water/food service was also prompt. Cozy tables, great lighting, quiet conversations... such a great vibe! My husband raved about the lamb chops. My Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, but the scallops were truly disappointing. I'd read good reviews about the scallops, so maybe the chef had an off night, but they were flavorless and rubbery- not seared at all. But the delicious red wine flight more than made up for the sad scallops. A truly well-curated flight list. And the creme brulee was perfection!
