If you visit on a Friday or the weekend, they have live music and I lucked out with a perfect seat facing the musician, which made the atmosphere so special! The food was incredible across the board. They start you off with excellent complimentary warm bread. For the main events, the bone marrow (which disappeared before I could even snap a photo!) was delicious the brown sugar accent gives it an amazing, deeply savory taste. The filet mignon was cooked to a perfect, divine medium-rare, and the side of broccolini was crisp and well-balanced without being too salty. Shoutout to my waitress who was super attentive. Our night was truly a spectacular evening at Greensleeves in Redlands. Our grown children brought us there to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, but what truly made the night unforgettable was the exceptional service from the manager, Josh. His attention to detail, kindness, and genuine hospitality went far above and beyond. His cocktail & dinner recommendations were fantastic, and he made us feel incredibly cared for throughout the entire evening, like we were special guests. The food was outstanding. The lobster was cooked perfectly, the filet mignon was exceptional, and the sides were just as memorable...especially the mushrooms and the garlic mashed potatoes. I guess I will start with parking. Give yourself about 20 minutes, as parking was not easy to find. We drove around for about 15 minutes before we found a spot. The place is not to big, but not to small which gives it a perfect feel. We were immediately greeted as we walked in and the hostess was super friendly. She sat us by the window which was nice! As we waited for my friend to arrive we ordered an appetizer and opted for the Cali bruschetta. I didnt read the description so I was surprised to see strawberries but it was my birthday so why not? It was freaking amazing! The bread was perfectly toasted and buttered, and the sweetness of the strawberries really complimented the cheese and tomatoes. As a party of 4, we ordered, Salmon, filet mignon, shrimp scampi served over a penne pasta, lobster Mac and cheese and a wagu burger. The sides were, mashed potatoes Brussel sprouts, lemon pepper broccolini and grilled asparagus. All the sides are shareable and the portions are large enough for 4 people. Our desserts were 2 creme brulees. The shrimp scampi was sooo good! My filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the garlic butter was the perfect touch. I really didnt think I would eat the whole 8 ounces, but I couldn't stop! . My friend said the salmon was really good, but when I asked my son about his burger he said "It wasn't a bad burger, but wasn't well seasoned and not what I was expecting." My grandson never got around to his lobster Mac and cheese. Now let's talk about those sides. Mashed potatoes yummy, Brussel sprouts..FREAKIN BOMB DOT COM AND YOU MUST ORDER THEM! What a great date night spot! The staff was friendly and very accommodating even though we were walk ins. I'd recommend a reservation but if you're feeling frisky, they may take you as a walk in. We arrived for an early dinner though. Also, there was a time limit of an hour and 15. The staff made this clear in the beginning and it was my first time eating with a time limit but the staff did not make us feel like we had one. We still enjoyed a great steak date night! The food was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef!! My salad was so fresh and made great leftovers, that's how fresh it was!! We are a sucker for good Brussels and these were cooked so good I could've eaten another serving! They give you fresh bread while you wait too. Greensleeves has character inside and out! Parking was difficult to find on a Thursday night but we parked behind on a business building without problems. The ambiance inside is dark and romantic. We were on the second floor in a private dining area for 20 person work dinner. The menu was set with 3 different entree choices. The open bar was a nice touch. The bartender was very attentive. He kept replenishing our drinks! He was also our waiter too. He was able to take care of us very efficiently. We tried the calamari appetizer. It was crispy and not chewy. We had an outstanding dining experience at Greensleeves Steakhouse from start to finish. I ordered the prime rib dip, and it was exceptional. Tender chunks of prime rib were piled generously onto a perfectly toasted roll, packed with rich beef flavor and paired with a deep, savory au jus that made every bite better than the last. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, and the sandwich was both hearty and satisfying. My wife chose the 8 oz flat iron steak, and it was cooked beautifully. It was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The herb butter melted over the steak added just the right amount of richness and aroma without overpowering the quality of the meat itself. You could tell it was prepared with care and attention to detail. Our son went with the Wagyu beef burger, and he absolutely loved it. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and clearly high quality, cooked just right and delivering that signature Wagyu richness. The atmosphere was equally impressive. We sat upstairs, which offered a warm, inviting setting that felt both relaxed and refined and was perfect for a family dinner. I also enjoyed a blood orange iced tea that was refreshing, well balanced, and a great complement to the meal. To top it all off, our server Josh was awesome. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience. OK, welcome to the honesty zone. I've been here enough times that I can pretty much outline a few rules for dining here: 1. Do not order the Wagyu Animal Burger. It is probably the worst burger I've ever had. It was horrendously undercooked, had no cheese or sauce that I could discern, and was bland, completely flavorless. The meat, which is supposedly wagyu, had literally no flavor. It felt like I was eating something I shouldn't have been eating. On the other hand, their fried calamari is amazing. I'm pretty sure they put Parmesan in the batter, which makes it very savory and salty. The fried calamari is pretty much the main reason I will ever go here. I have had the scallops a few times and they have been hit or miss. Wonderful on a good day, or bland and chewy on a bad day. The one time I ordered a dessert here was the cheesecake, and it tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for a few days. You know what I mean, where the cheesecake tastes like the other food in the fridge? Yeah, that. The sides are always good. Brussels sprouts, truffle mac, loaded potatoes, etc. At least you can count on that. The people I have taken here have, as far as I can tell, been happy with their steaks. As one would hope. Greensleeves redo. Returned to Greensleeves on a Sunday evening 5:30pm and was pleasantly surprised to see that there were a handful of tables filled with patrons already. I figure they've been making self improvements on food and service. I figured right. We entered the main door and while there was no employee situated at the host stand, an employee from the back noticed us right away and made effort to greet us immediately in a warm and welcoming manner. I really appreciated that. We were brought to our booth and introduced to our servers. There were many that contributed to serving us this night. I'm happy to say everyone was friendly and attentive. Reviewed the menu and ultimately selected: Jumbo shrimp cocktail. Very fresh. I love when my shrimp has a "crunchy" texture. This is when I KNOW it's fresh and that the kitchen paid enough attention to overcook it. Oysters on a half shell. Unfortunately the most disappointing item I tried this night. They had a particularly pungent after taste that made me worry they were stretching the half-life on the shelf. I eat oysters a lot and will frequent restaurants just for oysters. I can tell when some are more fresh than others. Maybe I just caught their oysters on a bad day. Still edible but they could've been better. Wedge salad. I thought they served this perfectly. It was crisp with a beautiful balance of ingredients. Lamp chops. Delicious!! I'm more of a beef girl but tonight, the lamb chops shone through. Flavor was chefs kiss. New York steak. No complaints. Note that the cook on both the lamb chops and New York steak was perfect tonight. Thank you, chef. Brussels sprouts, yummy. Broccoli, even yummier! Glass of the juggernaut; compatible selection for all the foods tonight. Cheesecake; just okay. Granted, we were very full already and I'm normally not a sweets person. All in all, I'm glad I gave Greensleeves another try. I thank the establishment for striving to do better and putting effort into their work with pride. Our first impression was that this was a super cute spot. White tablecloth, cute little Edison bulbs hanging from the ceiling, live music. Our server took about 30 minutes to get our starter order then rushed off. No one came back for another 20+ minutes until the starter hit the table. We asked the runner if we could order, and a different server came over to take our order. Our dinner hit the table 1 hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. My salad was served with dinner, not before. It was a random assortment of thickly cut, underripe tomatoes slathered in balsamic. The broccolini was inedible, brown and mushy. My boyfriend's filet pasta was like a hamburger helper with an obscene amount of cheese and a poorly chosen piece of steak which was not even cut, and slid around the plate when trying to cut it. There was just very large amounts of time in between each thing. They weren't busy, either time. First time i went was the week before christmas for a small company gathering. Last night was for a celebratory dinner for my promotion, which my husband added to our reservation, nothing came of it. I mainly go on Tuesdays for Tomahawks and they are nothing short of fantastic. The Tomahawks are A LOT of food, excellent for sharing with their amazing sides (loaded mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts are my favorite!) I've also gotten their Gorgonzola pasta, and it is delicious!! If you're a cheese fan, you'll absolutely love that dish. For dessert, I've only had their Crème brûlée and it's very good. I made reservations for Greensleeves as a date night due to the positive reviews however we might have caught them on a bad day. We started with a charcuterie board as our appetizer which was okay but it didn't have anything great for the meat options. Then we proceeded to order our entree which we both ordered a filet mignon paired with a lobster tail. Unfortunately, both of us agreed that it had zero flavor even after adding the butter from the lobster so my girl friend had to ask the waitress for salt so we could get some kind of flavor. For the price we paid, we were highly disappointed in what we got. However the ambiance was great, I loved the room we were seated in which was nice and quiet away from the busy area of tables and we could still hear the music playing which was nice. Fair disclaimer: I eat here at drug rep dinners so I'm not paying much if anything to eat here so I might be biased. With that being said, I love steak, I think they cook their steaks well though their sides and salads are average at best. But can't complain about their portions. From flat iron to filet mignons you can't go too wrong here. Not after some accused loud public cursing. No refund was ever offered. How this place gets the idea that they can call themselves a "Steakhouse" with only four steak options on the menu is baffling. The Cesar Salad was incredibly salty, to the point of being inedible. The hostess acted like we had spit in her face when on of our guests asked for a Bloody Mary, and with her nose in the air informed us " we don't make those kind of drinks." Overall horrible atmosphere with overbearing live music and food that wasn't fit mediocre at best. And when the manager chased us down because he heard we were not happy and berated my wife because we politely told him not everyone likes live music so loud you can barely hear your own thoughts. I heard great things about this place. We decided to try tonight unfortunately they charged us $90 for an overcooked supposedly Wagyu, New York steak. It was overcooked had tons of gristle, the food experience was horrible. The dishes were over salted and the fish was mushy and had no flavor. The puréed asparagus tasted like the bottom of a lawnmower. I can consider myself a good cook and I could've charged $20 for a New York steak from Stater Brothers and it would've been 10 times better! read more
