Please read this review not just the star rating. This is a small and well used bar. This isn't a fancy bar with $20 drinks. It's a friendly atmosphere, cheap drinks, well used, horrible bathrooms and even the occasional unhoused person will come in. But you will meet amazing people and get to really know the town and you may even make a new friend. Been years since I lived in Redlands and I just love hitting the staple local "dive bar." Best prices Great drinks (you will never have to order a double) Nicest bartenders Crowd is super diverse and it works well Three pool tables Punching power game read more

Very fun atmosphere. However. they supposedly didn't have my card when I returned to pay my tab AFTER I gave them my card for several beers. I even gave them my name and last initial for the card. They showed me a few cards and I denied them saying they weren't my card. Thankfully, the banking company allowed me to lock the card immediately after. Let it be known that either the company running this bar is conducting a racket, or that the bartenders are not aware enough to provide the customers' their cards when requested after providing first and last name. Other bars in the area were easily able to provide me with my card after providing first and last name no problem. read more

Snacks only just eat before you go there Fun place to hang out and pass some time with friends Very rustic but nice definitely real read more

If you want to get harassed and bad service come here. They only listen to men asking for drinks and a lot of men harassing women

I've patronized the Flamingo for over 30 years. The bartender that was there tonight was absolutely terrible - rude, short with us, ignored us, etc. We only came in for one drink because of how terribly rude she was. Even though I've popped in so many times over the last several decades, I don't think I'll go back! She was horrible! read more

We stopped here for a nightcap. Nostalgic dive bar with pool tables and arcade games. Have a full bar with some not so common beers on tap which was great. Was a good time, bartender was friendly. read more

Bartender purposely ignored us because they thought we were associated to a couple who was yelling at the bartender. We were NOT with them and found them to be very rude. The junk box also stole up 15$ , it did not play any of our songs. Do NOT recommend read more

Bartenders tried to ignore me & be rude so i totally let them have it & then they served me with a smile...sometimes u have to let weak pastey passive agressive servers know their place & correct them...i wasnt in the mood for bologna & think they were set straight for a little while. Chalk 1 up for the GOOD GUYS read more

My man likes to go here because he loves to play pool. I love to play pinball and we drink martinis. It's my happy place. Te recomiendo.

Me and my adopted son are there and he waited for his food for an hour. If it was such a problem you should have said no kids were allowed. But instead you let the adults get food first. That's not hospitality at all and if ya not about kids you should say so. My husband will be in touch with the city of San Diego to have you work on better training for your staff. read more

Staff will ignore you with all their might. Bartender walked by me so many times and they weren't even busy. Someone saw I was getting ignored so they tried getting his attention but he just looked at them and continued to ignore them. read more

If you like dives, you'll love the Bird. You will never have an uninteresting time there. Jeff and Andy are exactly the kind of fellas you want working behind the bar at a joint like this. read more

A bartender that's a 60 year old man talking how he use to play for the Jackson 5, maybe you should retire as a bartender and find that passion again. That man had us waiting for 30 mins to get us some drinks and when I tried to ask him for assistance, he completely ignored me. Other than that, I would NEVER step in that establishment again. But the bar, The Vault, is where the true vibes are at. Maybe he needs to take some advice from them of how to be a bartender. read more

My partner sees a doctor in Loma Linda every three months, and on our last visit, we found this place and had a great time. Last night, we dropped by again. We sat at the bar for 10 to 15 minutes, while the bartender totally ignored us. Instead, she hung out at the other end of the bar sharing pictures from her cell phone with patrons at that end. We finally left. We will not return. read more

Particularly rude staff. I got accused of having a fake ID since I look young. What else can I do?

Passing through Redlands and wanted to grab a drink and we stumbled upon the Pink Flamingo. It is a very divey, old cash-only bar. I had a great time with good service. I appreciate the low prices so I can't complain there. read more

I use to love coming here, good drinks cash only, who wouldn't. That old bartender lady seems to always have an attitude for no reason. I'm understanding, if I'm in someone's seat but we checked with the people around us and they had said no one was seating there. She came up to us and made it seem like I had done something disrespectful for sitting in front of her bar where she claims people where sitting when we had already checked. I was just trying to get another drink and enjoy my night. Buzz kill! That other you get bartender is way nicer! If you plan on going, just make sure it's not the older lady bartending you, she also seems to have an issue any time she sees that we are of a different culture. Beware, I still have love for this bar but I rather not spend my money here if I'm being treated lesser than for being polite... read more

The old white ladies that work there are so jealous of younger women and they also tried keeping mine and my husbands change more than once that is so not okay when my beer is 4$ and I give you a twenty Im not giving you a 16$ tip especially if you are expecting it and try to steal from customers when they gave you no approval??? read more

I'm a regular here and all I do is come here to play pool and have a few drinks. a guy started drama with me over something that happened outside the bar and the older lady with long red hair banned me for 30days. She told me I needed to talk to her so I said okay let's talk and she refused to talk to me and walked away. I'd like to talk to the owner as soon as your available please. The guy that started the drama never buys anything he just free loads off the pool tables. read more

You need to update this bar. It's been the same since I can remember so my dad used to come here when I was a child and it's still pretty much looks the same. It needs to be cleaned up and prettied read more

I love this bar don't get me wrong. I come here regularly but back in the day they use to have security. At least ok busy nights it was two and slow just one but this should be a safety hazard. Someone to check id and get the scum out of here. I was here and a bartender was harassed and a security guard should have been here: maybe make a fund from bartenders to pay for one of owner doesn't want to. read more

It's nicknamed the dirty bird for a reason. It's a no-frills dive bar. Other than 90% men and 10% women, it's my go-to place to unwind. People are quite friendly including the bartenders. This bar seems like the one people go to get a quick cheap drink BEFORE going to other bars and also the last bar to go to when other bars close early. If I were the owner I'd give drink specials to ladies and maybe that will help balance the sausage-fest ratio. Also, they have the juke box cranked up way to high that it's hard to hold a conversation. read more

Came here to have a few drinks with my adult son. Couldn't tell you much, except the male bartender is racist and rude. Ignored my son completely when he patiently waited and eventually asked for drinks. Bartender looked right at him and ignored him. We left. Won't bring our money here again. read more

Witnessed first had the bartender named Becky being extremely racist to a group of African American females who were paying for music on the jukebox. She told them they had to play "white music" ?!?!?!! As a Latina woman this was very offensive to myself and also the ladies. They obviously felt very uncomfortable, unwelcome and discriminated against. The owner of this bar needs to teach his employees how to be professional. Do not support this business! read more

This is the only place that brings me happiness. Not a joke just a bold statement. Think of "I love this bar" by Toby Keith.

If you're a minority just don't go. They're actually racist. I'm an Asian American male and they straight up took my ID and questioned my age, refusing to give it back even after I politely asked-how is that even allowed? Every worker ignored me when I asked for help (not even asking for a drink but to get me ID back :/). Idk if you're a non minority go for it, it seems homey enough but again if you're a minority DO NOT waste your time unless you want to be singled out and targeted. read more

bartender rude as fuck we were sitting there with TEN other people and he kicked us out to stand to outside even though all the other people were standing inside finishing their drink. TERRIBLE!! don't come!! we were literally sitting at our table minding our business when he decided to tell us to throw away our drinks and leave. TERRIBLE!!!!!! read more

Great for playing pool. Bartenders ignore you and can not make a simple cocktail correctly. Then when asked to correct it the older lady took the drink and never replaced it after it was paid for. Too expensive to go for drinks when you get treated like crap by the bartenders. I tipped well also so maybe if I go back I'll just stiff the tip, if you can't make me what I ask for. I mean a vodka red bull and a vodka cranberry isn't that hard to make. read more

I have been to hundreds of bars around the world. I always look for the dive bar in a town. This is what Redlands has to offer in that category. The Good: cheap prices, shuffleboard, juke box, pool tables, pinball. The AWFUL: every single bartender that works here. It never fails. No matter what day. No matter what time. They are busy bs'ing with their buddies or just don't give a damn. They are so bad it's funny. Inattentive and slow as hell. It's hard to pick which one is worse. They are equally horrible. Where do they find these people? read more

The bartender Vicky here is very rude and disrespectful the fact that she continues to to be disrespectful to her customers is horrible somebody needs to put her on work probation!!! She's to disrespectful everyone that goes here regularly I'm sure has had a problem with her at one time or another I just want to have a nice drink and a good conversation but the bartender Jeff here is awesome it's ashame he's wasting his talents at the akadirty bird!! read more

Whoever the old lady is that works behind the bar is a see you next Tuesday by all means. My friends and I walked in last night, and we started playing pool. Almost immediately this lady walks up like I said super super mean super rude asks all four of us for our ID (like she should but if you've been to the dirty bird, you know that they don't ID you) and then we ask for a drink, and the lady couldn't even flag us down to let us know that our drinks were ready if we weren't even looking in that general direction we wouldn't have even known that our drinks were done. TERRIBLE customer service. I won't be returning again. read more

Apparently a popular place on a Saturday night, but why I'm not sure. The place is understaffed, if not for an off-duty bartender who was there on her own time, i would have never have gotten a drink. The place has pool tables, but the felt is torn and really thin, don't even bother trying to put English on a ball. Lastly, and the true deal breaker, is, the selection of music played on the jukebox, (so admittedly, my problem is with the attending crowd i guess). 98 % was extreme heavy rage rock. Apparently someone put $50 of this crap in the jukebox prior to my arrival, because none of my songs were ever played. To exacerbate this, the sound system was over-driven and very distorted. I walked out with such a headache i looked forward to my hangover the next day. read more

Older bartender lady with long red hair is rude af. Horrible personality!! But Jeff is really cool.

Ah, the Dirty Bird.... Well... It's a dive. No frills, no bull shit, cheap drinks. They have billiards, shuffle board and a juke box. They also have little machines with random games on it, and if you play with the screen enough times, it gives you free games!!! The only thing that keeps me from even going here is the fact that they only take CASH. I've had good times here especially when you don't want to deal with the bullshit from the boiler room. You'll see people of all ages here, so you'll see a bunch of people mixed in here.. old people, Bros and their hoez, hipsters, you name it. I've gone a few times when they had karaoke and it is FREAKING hilarious! One old guy was running all over the bar like he's doing a show singing eric clapton. LOVED it. read more
