They let me come back a couple of days later to change it, and I really appreciated how accommodating they were. There was a guy working when I went back (I forgot to ask for his name), and he was AMAZING! He was so nice, patient, and energetic, and he did such a beautiful job on my nails. You can really tell they care about their customers and the quality of their work. Their prices are also very reasonable. I've tried a few other places, but I'm honestly obsessed with this place now! I do S&S manis and they last longer than any of the places I have tried in the past. When done, my nails do not look thick. I think this is because the technicians take time applying and filing until nails look natural . This makes time in the chair a bit longer but well worth it. The atmosphere is clean and fresh - I love the lighting accent wall they have. I get SNS nails because I am so hard on my hands - from playing with kids to lots of cleaning, etc. At first I tried any technician available, but for some reason every single time my nails lifted and broke or chipped or something. I would go back in and get it fixed for free. However, when I see Jade they stay. She does my nails a little bit thicker, so maybe that is it. Most people like their SNS thinner so maybe that is it. Before starting, I was informed that the extra nail on my big toe would be an additional $10, which I understood and agreed to. However, when it came time to pay, my bill was about $50 higher than expected. I was then told there was an extra $10 charge for the coffin shape, even though I had been told beforehand there was no additional charge for that. I was also charged $10 for length, despite my nails being short, and another $10 for the French tip, even though the package I selected already included French tips. When I questioned the charges, it seemed there was some confusion among the staff. Instead of correcting what appeared to be an error, the charges were explained in a way that still didn't fully account for the total. I left feeling unclear about where the additional costs came from. Unfortunately, that experience lost me as a customer. It was disappointing because I had just moved to the area and was hoping this would become my regular nail salon. Paying $120 for basic short French tip nails, with so many unexpected extra charges, did not feel transparent or professional. Out of respect for their business, I didn't make a scene in the store and still left a tip. I have brought my daughters here with me, and we have always had a good outcome and a luxuriously relaxing pedicure. It doesn't matter which person works on you- they all do a great job, are attentive and courteous. The owner is friendly and makes sure the atmosphere of the place is peaceful for clients. I have had the manicure service as well, and it was excellent- but I only do regular classic polish (so can't comment on gels, etc). I had to go back to Ohio for a period of time and tried going to my old salon. While it was the best I had gone to there, it could not hold a candle to Top Nails! I realized what a special service they provide. No bored, half-hearted work there! Only caring, efficient, and excellent work.
