My new go-to for nails...I've been going to another salon in ECobb for awhile and just have consistently not been happy with the other salon for different reasons. After my last disappointing trip and a sore cuticle from where the girl nicked me with her drill I did some yelp-search for a new place. I came across Bluegrass salon and decided to grab my next appointment here. I am so happy I booked SNS appointments for my daughter and I. This salon is very clean and relaxing. The guy that greeted us was super friendly and offered a couple of types of water. I had the strawberry water and it was really refreshing! Jenny took care of my nails and she did an outstanding job. She took a lot of time and it showed in the end. I appreciated the approach. I went with a natural color and the result was awesome! My daughter got tips and Chloe did an amazing job as well. The thing I appreciated most was the time they both spent with us - I did not feel rushed at all. Being rushed is a huge peeve of mine and this experience was very relaxing. I liked their music selection too. The prices were pretty consistent with the salon I went to previously...maybe a little more but I am willing to pay a little more for the truly nice experience we had today. I definitely recommend this place to people looking for an alternative to the ECobb salons down the road!! read more

I ended up here on a whim on a weekday early afternoon before work. I needed a pedicure and read the previous positive reviews. For one, customer service is superb. I was immediately greeted upon arrival and assigned a technician. There was no wait. The salon is definitely geared toward the luxury spa niche. Th aesthetic is clean, calm and soft. Once seated, I was offered a drink: water, wine, soda. My tech Julia was extremely nice and confirmed my service. I got the deluxe pedicure with the milk and honey. I picked out my color upon arrival. I turned on the massage chair, enjoyed my drink and let Julia work her magic. The staff was continuously courteous. All in all, there service took about 45 minutes or less to complete. Julia checked in throughout the pedicure to make sure I was comfortable. The foot rub was GREAT! I will say that this salon is more luxury spa focused than your usual nail salon. And therefore the price reflects so. My deluxe pedi was $50. I felt more pampered than I would going to my local nail spot. They also only accept cash tips. There is no option to add tip onto your service total when checking out. They have an ATM inside. read more

I can't believe I just now discovered this place and I live right down the street from it! Every time I come in I leave 100% satisfied and my nails look AMAZING! The service is great and they always offer you a beverage when you come in. Everything is very clean and all the nail technicians are very professional. A few weeks ago I had my nails done by Maika, the SNS service, I was preparing for a vacation to Aruba, Very pleased with the service, the result and longevity of the SNS. I appreciate her attention to detail, how she removed the previous SNS by wrapping the nail with cotton soaked in acetone instead of soaking my nails in a bowl of "acetone', less chemical contact to the skin. Shaping of the nail is very important and I was also pleased with the result. I look forward to my next visit. read more

I've now had two less than stellar experiences. I understand mistakes happen, but for their premium prices, I'd expect to get a pedicure without bleeding. I kindly declined the callus removal treatment and my nail tech proceeded to buff my skin aggressively. As I was about to speak up, she buffed the top layer of my skin off and I was bleeding. It hurt and I didn't enjoy the rest of my pedicure. I'm glad I'm not off on a beach trip because I've had a band aid on it for four days now. It's a shame I really want to like this place, but I really don't want to go back and maybe get hurt during, what's suppose to be, a relaxing spa experience. read more

My daughter and I are visiting the area and called for pedicure appointments. It's a lovely salon with a great team of employees. I looked for a nail salon near me with no expectations but was blown away. First of the vibe and interior is more luxurious than any salon I've been to. It's not the tacky white lights and marble everywhere that is commonly seen in newer nail salons. It gives anthropology vibes with CB2 chairs. Second customer service was so lovely. Everyone was so sweet and friendly offering fruit infused water, wine, and an arm massage. Last, the service! Mikah helped me with my nails and she was detailed, gentle, and thorough. Wish I had a before photo, but nails were janky. I had just ripped off all my previous SNS and I had uneven nails that were chipped. I love bluegrass Roswell! I've recommended this salon to all my closest family and friends and will continue to do so. Everyone is wonderful and truly talented. It's very clean and comfortable. I especially loved today's visit! Emily and Michelle not only made my nails look fabulous (as always) but they lifted my spirits! They are so much fun and really care about their guests. This place is great. The staff were friendly. I can't remember the guys name but he did a good job on my pedicure while another girl did my manicure. They seem to be clean, with wrapped tools and things separated. They've got a ton of polishes and everything was well organized. They offer you refreshments, not sure what all they have because I just wanted water. The massage chairs were a nice touch and the whole place is modern and very bright inside. They're in a strip mall with plenty of parking and there was no wait when we came in. I think it was a Saturday morning. read more

I typically don't leave yelp reviews, but I was shocked how rude the nail technician was that I needed to leave a review. I asked to move chairs because I just had surgery a few weeks ago and was not able to move my arm a certain way. I was then scolded for a good 15 minutes about how much of an inconvenience my request was. I honestly didn't even think about needing special accommodations until I arrived. I did not go at a busy time. I had to profusely apologize before the nail technician would even do my nails. In addition, my pedicure was sub par at best. I still have a pointy nail on my big toe which was left after the nail technician filed too forcefully and caused bleeding. My pinky nail doesn't even have polish. My SNS manicure was good, but I'm so offended about their behavior that I will not be going back. read more

I've been a customer of Casey's for going on five years now, so when she moved over to Bluegrass you can bet that i followed her over there too, and WOW, what an upgrade! Several nail salons like to advertise a "luxury" experience, but Bluegrass actually lives up to the hype. Impeccable cleanliness, gorgeous decor, and I love how all the staff dresses sharply in black attire. Their color selection is expanse and diverse, and you HAVE to try their pedicures. I love coming here with my mom also, because they have private couple booths so the two of us can chat away while sipping on wine or any of their other drink options. P.S. ask for Casey if you want the perfect nails that won't lift, crack, fade, and last you until you decide to finally go in for a change! read more

Overall satisfied with the customer service and cleanliness. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Amanda, our water & chairs were ready to go as soon as we stepped foot in the door. My man is very happy with his results, he got the bluegrass Treatment (Mani & Pedi) $122 and eyebrow waxing $14 by nail tech Kim. I on the other hand, felt a little rushed with my nail tech... I think she was running behind time. Had to correct her on my nail shape 3 times until I was satisfied with my shape. Nail results 7/10. Could be better. I address the issue to Amanda and she did speak to the manager to compt $10 off my nails.. Much appreciated! My pedicure was AMAZING! I also got the Bluegrass Treatment ($80) very satisfied with my results with Nail tech Tu. Other than the small issue, We Will be coming back since it's right down the street from our house and it's in the Perfect location! read more

This place looks pretty but that's about it. I went here to get my gel removed and leave my nails natural as I have nice strong nails. I had gotten gel at a different salon for a trip i took. My nails are usually pretty strong... until I allowed one of these people here to touch my nails. I specifically asked the lady to not file my nail down and to allow the gel to soak off. It seemed the heard the opposite. She filled little ziploc bags with acetone and dipped my fingernail in them. I'm a cosmetologist and this is NOT healthy for your skin! But I continued. She let my nails soak for maybe 30 seconds before she got her drill and started drilling away. I asked her not please be careful cause I did not want my nail bed filed down. She turned off the drill and took a nail file out and went to town again. I had to repeat myself over and over until I asked for someone else to please continue the service because she had filed the gel and my nail down so much my nails hurt and my nails were paper thin! The lady simply put all her stuff away in her caddy and called some guy to come "manage" the situation. I proceeded to explain and show him the work she had done on my nails. My nails were red and so thin from her filing. He tells me that's just the way they take the gel off, soaking and filing. I explain that the gel could've been soaked longer to allow to soften and he says well that would take too long so it gets filed down. I say ok so you just file away people's nails and call it a day? He said well that's how we take it off for all our customers! I said well what about the damage to the nail? His response was a shoulder shrug and said sorry we couldn't help you. Uuuggghh I was so mad!!! I walked out and went to another salon! At the other salon they were shocked to see the conditions my nails were and had to be extremely careful cause my nails were so sensitive and thin. I would never recommended this place. It's a cash cow and it's a nail mill! No quality not personality so customer service no listening to the customer. Mind you, I'm a licensed cosmetologist... my first job 22 years ago was a nail tech! I know the right way to do all of this stuff but I just want to be able to sit somewhere and be pampered. Well, there's that! I'll be pampering my nails back to health. read more

Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated in the waiting area with my feet in a tub of warm water--plain water, no scents or additives. I didn't think much of it. I was given a sheet to mark my preferences: pressure level, areas to focus on, and what I did not want. I selected medium pressure, clearly marked NO stretching, and indicated focus areas on the body diagram: neck and shoulders, low back, quads, calves, and feet. I also chose the stress-relief aroma, though I never smelled any aroma during the service. Once called in, I used the restroom and was guided to a private room. The first therapist, a woman, was wonderful--attentive, good pressure, and responsive when I asked for adjustments. She started with a massage over the sheet and then added oil for my back. The first half of the service was genuinely great. Then, midway through, I heard the door open and quiet rustling. No one said anything, and I immediately felt a different pair of hands. A moment later, a male voice spoke, which surprised me because no one informed me of a therapist switch. I don't mind male therapists, but a heads-up is the bare minimum. Despite me clearly marking NO stretching, he grabbed my arms and pulled them backward while I was face down. I said "ow, please put me down." He continued stretching me in a way that felt rough and careless. When he lifted my arms, my bare chest also lifted, and he was positioned directly in front of me, which made me feel extremely exposed. When he finally put me down, I decided to just let the moment slide instead of escalating it. The rest of his portion felt rushed and inattentive--he barely addressed the areas I marked (especially neck and shoulders), mostly rustling through my hair. The foot massage was okay, but he dropped my legs down abruptly afterward. He also broke my hair clip, threw it away without asking, and didn't apologize. When I checked out, I told the front desk girl I was unsatisfied. She told me I should have spoken up during the service--except there was clearly a language barrier, and the situation made it hard to advocate for myself in the moment. I also mentioned the broken hair clip, and for that, she offered a 5% discount. Can't say I'd return. The first lady was great, though I didn't catch her name. Unfortunately, the bald male therapist completely ruined what started as a promising experience.

When we asked for the difference to remain on the gift card, they said they cannot do that and we cannot get the money back and nothing can be done.
