First off, let me say that Hannan is the Sweetest person ever! When I booked my appointment, I mentioned that I was celebrating my birthday. She was immediately said happy birthday and offered to provide me with lunch! I've never had a spa offer that service before. She was very professional and made my experience very relaxing. She only does one client at a time and there's a 15 minute period in between clients for cleaning. It was one of the best massages that I've had a in long time. I also got a facial and it wonderful. I can't believe I haven't done a review yet. I've been seeing Hanan for about 6 months now. Between maskne and hormones, my skin has been AWFUL the last two years. Constantly inflamed, cystic pimples around my cheek and jaw. I've gone to dermatologists, used tretinoin and have taken oral medications to no avail. Everything just seemed to make it worse. At 23, dealing with this has been embarrassing! However, with Hanan's help and expertise, my skin has reached an equilibrium. I still struggle with hormonal acne, but the products I've bought from Hanan have cut the healing time in half and reduced the inflammation. I have been getting facials from Hanan about once a month, and biweekly for the first two months to try to get my skin under control. She custom tailors my facials based on how my skin is doing at the time. When my skin is pretty clear, she uses brightening and exfoliating facials. When my skin is struggling, she uses acne specific masks. I also do microdermabrasion and the LED treatment. My skin has gone from having to wear full foundation every day to being able to just spot conceal! Also, something I would like to point out is that she doesn't try to shove products on to you to buy like at some other places. While she has her recommendations, she isn't pushy nor do you feel like you're trying to be persuaded. Over the course of the past few months, I've bought Eminence products that she's used on me repeatedly during facials that I know I like. And I love them so much I purchase them again when I run out. Hanan is very personable and understanding, I enjoy our conversations while I get my facials. I love going to Hanan and look forward to seeing her for my once a month facials. I just enjoyed the best massage and facial provided by Hanan. She is very attentive and provides a warm and cozy atmosphere during this cold Georgia day 12-27-20. First, Hanan advised that the 60 minute massage is better to start with and follow up with the 60 minute facial. I like my massage to be firm and she provided "Magic Hands" is what I told her. The facial was perfect to extract junk out of my large nose pores. I really enjoyed my after Christmas spa day to work on my stiff shoulder muscles and make my face sparkle with clean skin and pores. I took my son in for a teen facial as we had not been able to get his acne and blackheads cleared up (not matter what products I tried). He is 13 and was very nervous since he has never had a treatment. She was great with him and explained the process to both of us and assured my son that she has many teens (boys as well) come in for this type of facial. Her personality and care for the customer is outstanding. She managed to do our facials at the same time, all while explaining each product she was using and each step of the process. She gave my daughter tips on how to clean her face daily and even recommended an inexpensive store product so that she can continue to take care of her skin without breaking the bank. I had my first visit at Hanan Day Spa today, and was very pleased with Hanan's expertise, her friendly manner and wealth of experience. Her touch is magical, and the products she used for my facial smelled nice and felt good. I'm 70 yrs old and have not had a facial for several years, so she had lot of work to do! :-) A deep massage on my neck, arms, and upper chest were included with the facial. She used a product with collagen and a green light treatment to lighten dark spots on my face and chest. I mentioned to her that I had scheduled some cosmetic work to be done with a reputable dermatologist that was going to cost $11,000. My skin looks radiant! I came here after I got a microdermabrasion coupon. I was leery as I've know some places sell tons of coupons and give sub-par service. So not the case here! Atmosphere: The spa is in a strip mall and not the big wow experience you get at Jolie or one of the big spas. I'll take this place and their service over the big spas any day. Place was very serene. I was the only customer and there wasn't any conversation or door closing with people coming and going. I really enjoyed the lack of distraction. Temperature was a little hot at first but once I got into the drape it was perfect. Wasn't freezing cold. Service: This was like a pedicure for my face. Got rid of all the nasty dead skin cells to reveal fresh radiant skin. My skin was a little red for two days after, but not the burn victim redness I have heard of other people having at other places. The aesthetician really took her time with me. Yet another benefit of a small place. I wasn't rushed at all and had her undivided attention. I added on a vitamin c mask which was reasonably priced and well worth it. Summation: I love this place. I purchased a groupon for 6 microdermabrasion sessions. I paid so little that my expectations were set very low. My GPS took me right to the strip mall, but it took a few minutes of driving around to find the spa, it's a tiny shop located toward the front of the strip closer to Johnson Ferry Road. The client ahead of me had arrived late so I had to wait about 10 minutes while she finished them. She added a pumpkin peel to my service at no additional charge since I had to wait. Because of the low price I paid for the groupon and the free peel I accepted an upgrade to include a moisturizing treatment at the end, and I'm so glad I did! My skin just glowed!! Don't be put off by the low prices or the special discount prices by thinking you will receive an inferior treatment, I had a great experience and I highly recommend them! I came upon Hanan (the owner) and her day spa through a Groupon I purchased for two microdermabrasions. I wish I had know what a wonderful job she would do, then I would have purchased it for more than 2. I have had a microdermabrasion before and it was not nearly as wonderful as the ones she does. My skin felt so supple and soft when she was done. In the winter, my skin gets very dry, so she recommended adding a hydration mask made with coconut oil for an extra $15. I didn't mind paying an extra $15 for a mask that I desperately needed to hydrate my skin. Atmosphere: A small spa that is located in a strip mall area. It is definitely a gem. It is a smaller space than the larger spas, but the time and attention she gives you far outweighs going to a big spa place. It is quiet and peaceful, and it's quite comfortable. Service: Amazing!!! She removed all the dead skin from my face, as well as, she did extractions of black heads that were on my nose. She finished me off with a wonderful Vitamin C Mask, which was much needed for my skin and only an extra $15. It was well worth the price and the benefits of the mask. My skin felt very smooth. Additionally, Hanan took her time with me and we discussed my skin and gave me recommendations on products and things to do to keep my skin moisturized and hydrated during the winter months since my skin gets extremely dry. She has great knowledge about the skin and answered all of my questions and concerns regarding my skin. Last but not least, she has a wonderful personality. Summary: I highly recommend Hanan and her amazing services and the products she uses on my skin. I have not purchased the skin care products yet because I want to use up what I already have, but I cannot wait to use them, because the service I received was fantastic experience overall. She is a friendly woman who truly knows about skincare and enjoys educating herself about it. She has worked hard to own her own business, and she will personalize the treatment to your skin's needs. I always have to tip extra generously, because she works so hard and her prices are such a value that I feel like I'm stealing from her! She never pushes product or makes suggestions just to upsell you. Any suggestion she makes, your skin must truly need. I started going to Hanan for microderms. I learned to love and trust her so much that I let her do my first brazilian wax, too. I also trust her for my eyebrow wax (and followed her suggestion to try out eyebrow color since mine were so blonde... they look great, natural and I have been able to stop penciling them in!)
