I was really looking forward to trying this massage place because of all the great reviews I had read, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I really liked that they allow you to choose the areas you want the therapist to focus on. Since I spend a lot of time typing, I specifically circle my shoulders. Because I also drive frequently and spend a lot of time sitting in traffic, I circle my glutes/buttocks, which tend to get very tight. I had Jennifer, and unfortunately, I felt that she spent very little time addressing the areas I specifically requested. Out of the 60-minute massage, I would say only about 15 minutes total were spent focusing on my problem areas. Much of the massage consisted of her using her arm to roll over my back, which didn't really provide the targeted pressure or relief I was hoping for. I also requested a medium deep tissue massage, but the experience felt more like a light Swedish massage. At one point, she placed a hot stone on me without warning. It was extremely hot and startled me enough to jump, so she ended up stopping the hot stone portion altogether. When she had me turn over, she also spent some time massaging my head, but unfortunately, I didn't find it particularly relaxing. I normally get Thai massages and have had much better experiences, especially when it comes to therapists listening to the areas that need the most attention and adjusting the pressure accordingly. My friend had Tina during the same visit and had a completely different experience. He requested a firm massage, and Tina did an excellent job focusing on his problem areas and providing the pressure he asked for. His experience was much more in line with what I was hoping for. That being said, I still tipped Jennifer 20% because I appreciate the time and effort she put into providing the service. However, based on my personal experience, this would unfortunately be near the bottom of my list when choosing a massage place. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively. I came in with high expectations because of the positive reviews, and I would have really appreciated a massage that was more customized to the areas and pressure I specifically requested. read more

The massage itself was really nice, and I was happy with the service from the massage therapist. However, my experience at checkout was very uncomfortable. When I was paying, the woman at the cashier asked me multiple times, about four times, why I wasn't tipping and mentioned that the massage therapist had worked really hard. I understand that tipping is appreciated, but I don't think customers should be pressured or questioned about their decision to tip. I had already made a sacrifice to get a massage because I was in pain and needed some relief, so being pressured about tipping at the end honestly brought back all the stress I was trying to get away from. I believe tipping should always be a personal choice, and customers should feel comfortable regardless of what they decide. Again, the massage itself was great, but the interaction at checkout really affected my overall experience. read more

I found this place on Yelp and I was back and forth about booking because I wanted the fluff..the pools, the hot tub, all of the fixings. I'm so glad I decided to go here instead. This was such a unique experience! I left feeling brand new and stress free. I received a warm welcome when I entered the building followed by an immediate foot wash. I was then given slippers and led to the massage room. The lighting was just right and light music played in the background. I chose to use AirPods so I could curate my experience with my own personal playlist. They also offer ear plugs if you prefer silence. I created my own package according to my needs which included 1 hour deep tissue full body, 30 min Thai stretch, and a 30 min foot massage. I did not feel rushed and Bella used the perfect amount of pressure--i was comfortable at all times. I like that they have you soak your feet in warm water when entering and filling out paperwork. I just had a Thai massage and stretch with song and he did a masterful job. The combination of Thai stretch and massage is great for people that work out, because it really gives you a deep deep stretch as part of the muscle, deep tissue massage. This combination is better than "one or the other." Song is strong, so for muscular folks who are doing heavy lifting, This is the guy you want. And when you get done, your hips are open. So is your chest and you'll feel a restoration of range of motion in your shoulders. In fact, it relieved a lot of my inflammation caused by incline.Bench presses. Once you're done with the massage, tye freedom of movement and motion is incredible. This may be a new once a week or once every two week part of my workout schedule. Do your yourself a favor and just try this out.- make sure you get the combination of the deep tissue with the stretch. It was $90 without tip. Disappointing experience. Service started off well. I booked a 2-hour "Iyashi Signature Full Body Massage" online. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated in the waiting area with my feet in a tub of warm water--plain water, no scents or additives. I didn't think much of it. I was given a sheet to mark my preferences: pressure level, areas to focus on, and what I did not want. I selected medium pressure, clearly marked NO stretching, and indicated focus areas on the body diagram: neck and shoulders, low back, quads, calves, and feet. I also chose the stress-relief aroma, though I never smelled any aroma during the service. Once called in, I used the restroom and was guided to a private room. The first therapist, a woman, was wonderful--attentive, good pressure, and responsive when I asked for adjustments. She started with a massage over the sheet and then added oil for my back. The first half of the service was genuinely great. Then, midway through, I heard the door open and quiet rustling. No one said anything, and I immediately felt a different pair of hands. A moment later, a male voice spoke, which surprised me because no one informed me of a therapist switch. I don't mind male therapists, but a heads-up is the bare minimum. Despite me clearly marking NO stretching, he grabbed my arms and pulled them backward while I was face down. I said "ow, please put me down." He continued stretching me in a way that felt rough and careless. When he lifted my arms, my bare chest also lifted, and he was positioned directly in front of me, which made me feel extremely exposed. When he finally put me down, I decided to just let the moment slide instead of escalating it. The rest of his portion felt rushed and inattentive--he barely addressed the areas I marked (especially neck and shoulders), mostly rustling through my hair. The foot massage was okay, but he dropped my legs down abruptly afterward. He also broke my hair clip, threw it away without asking, and didn't apologize. When I checked out, I told the front desk girl I was unsatisfied. She told me I should have spoken up during the service--except there was clearly a language barrier, and the situation made it hard to advocate for myself in the moment. I also mentioned the broken hair clip, and for that, she offered a 5% discount. Can't say I'd return. The first lady was great, though I didn't catch her name. At the last minute, I booked a 60 minute hot stone massage and they were able to accommodate my request. When you walk in you are immediately greeted and prompted to take your shoes off for a foot rinse bath. While doing the foot rinse bath, I filled out the paper which asked about specifics of the massage requested i.e. pressure, points of focus, etc. Almost immediately after the foot rinse I was guided to the back for my massage. There wasn't much instructions given, but it was obvious they wanted you to take off your clothes, lay on the table and cover with the sheet. There are signs that give you directions, but I only noticed those after I finish my massage. The massage was nice. The pressure was spot on, may be a little firmer than expected. Initially, I think I had a man masseuse. He was very respectful and kept the sheet on my body the entire time. About halfway through he and a lady switched, and she appropriately raised the sheet and massaged the focused part of my body. I did opt into the offered Thai stretch at the end of the massage and I think I want to book a whole session dedicated to stretching. They do have a massage alternative technique. It is different than what I've previously received at other massage parlors, however, when the massage was finished, I felt no tension and absolute muscle relaxation. I would definitely continue to come here, especially since it is walk-in/ short notice appointments. You should know that the rooms, I think, are semi private. Meaning that there is a sliding door and there is no ceiling so it's open and you will be able to hear noises from the other rooms. The noises are typical massage noises, I didn't find them disturbing however, if you are sensitive to noise, they do recommend earplugs read more

This place was TRASH! I wouldn't recommend, and I'm not returning. There's MUCH better massage places to try rather than this. The person who started my massage wasn't good at all. I had to keep telling him to slow down because he was rushing. About 30mins in, they switched my person because a customer requested a male(which is weird and unprofessional) you choose your masseuse preference when booking. And according to another review, that sane thing happened to them! That'd ridiculous for sure. It was too noisy in the massage area, not relaxing at all. The other workers were walking, talking, and playing games so loudly in the room next to us. The "soothing music" that was playing kept going in and out. The room was hot. We didn't get offered tea or water. Random people walked in and out of our room during our session. The room we were in, didn't have a door to be closed so a light shinned into our rooms the entire time, and that was distracting, which caused us not to relax as much. Also, the bathroom had roaches :( They charge a 3.5% up charge for using credit cards or they give you a cash app option to pay (wtf, so unprofessional). The workers didn't speak English so when i spoke they stopped my massage to go get the receptionist to translate( that was super annoying). I wouldn't recommend this place AT ALL to anyone. The aesthetic is cute but the services was bad. Another lady was getting a massage in a room across from us and they had her curtains closed for privacy. I made an appointment, and as soon as I got there, I could see that the decor was very well designed, and immediately started my relaxation. I chose the Lomi Lomi massage and was paired with Bella. The technique of therapists (at least the one I got) was terrible. Constantly digging in somebody's back with your elbow is not a massage! Plus these people don't speak English well, which is very frustrating when you're trying to explain what you want or redirect when things feel uncomfortable. How about the technician actually do anything to you at all for the service? I think she wasn't even in the room most of the 90 minutes. This was an absolute waste of $149 facial. Not sure why they have such high ratings as me and my friend has quite to opposite experience. Edit: there's no edit. Your reply changed nothing. You could say we will be sure to inform new customers about your payment options. You could also say you will no longer book clients in the noisiest room. But you didn't. That's ok. They accept walk ins which is fantastic for those of us who have commitment issues. The lobby is very peaceful and welcoming. The service menu is vast with lots of options and reasonably priced. I decided on a one hour foot massage for $50. They start in the lobby with a foot soak for only a few minutes. Then you are taken to the back area where a room with massage tables low to the ground are located in a dimly lit calming atmosphere. You start face down and the massage involves your entire body because it is all connected to the feet. The experience was fantastic and extremely relaxing. I requested a stretch with my massage and I highly recommend it. It is not something you could do on your own. I was then asked if I would like an additional service and I requested 30 minutes of shoulder and head massage. They walked me across the hall to a traditional massage table that was so comfortable. This was an intense treatment because my muscles were so tight. My masseur worked incredibly hard and the pressure was very firm to break up the knots. He also massaged my arms and did some very unique stretching which was tough and made me take deeps breaths. The results were such relief! I was extremely pleased with the spa and I booked an appointment with Allen prior to leaving. In all I had 1.5 hours for $90 and feel absolutely relaxed. I recommend this place. read more
