I drive about two hours to get to H - Massage. Most people will walk in and expect everyone on staff to have years of experience but there will be a few just starting out learning the business. You have try out a few massagers techs before making your overall decision about the place. It helps to discuss what you want before you start the session. They can't read minds and what you expect or need done. All massage techs have their own routine. Great!!! If you need a place to relax, unwind and get pampered, come here! The chairs are so comfortable, the service was great, and it's super quiet and chill there. I've never done foot reflexology, but I'm now a fan. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday just to do something different, and am so glad we came. So for $30 for an hour you can have your feet and calves massaged, or for $40 you can get a 20 minute back rub with the 40 minute feet treatment. Either you can't go wrong. I just did the feet while he went for the back massage. Seriously these people have strong hands. I don't know how they work for an hour on a body part like that. There's nothing fancy in here, but it's just a really great way to force yourself to relax, which is hard for me to do, and to just get the royal treatment. It was so enjoyable. I was really debating where to go and get this done, but I'm glad we chose this place. I'd love to do it every weekend if I could. They do take AMEX which was another plus. 10/24/21 Frustrations with getting a massage is that I might forget to tell the therapist some thing that I need. Today because of my neuropathy, I informed the person about Tatian's. While I waited for my therapist to finish his last client asked for a blanket. When David, one of the best at this location came in, he asked if I was called I said no I'm fine now. However, I feel like there was a language barrier and my entire 90 minute massage was done between a sheet. I have never had a massage over a sheet. During the massage tried to explain that I was not hot but I don't think he understood me. Thankful he worked on some areas in my body that is taint and I do feel more relaxed however I don't feel that the muscles that I needed massage for hip-hop early because, I was massaged through a sheet. When I was asked how everything was I wondered if it really mattered. The receptionist listened to my disappointment and said " not sure why he thought no oil for your massage". I realize that's the best she probably can do. I also realize that in the past months during chemotherapy that I've visited the salon, they've been through a lot of people. Or at least it was shared they're having a hard time keeping people. Maintaining a business is rough and I respect that. David is amazing and intuitive.. It's at no fault of his that we speak to different languages. However, I wish there was some form of consistency. This treat to myself for turned out to be kinda a trick. The massage we got was above average, not the best but passable. Rating by the massage alone I would give it a 3. However, a big minus point for how they try to up-sell you at every opportunity. At the reception, they tried to get us to do the body + foot massage, which costs more than the foot alone. I really just want the foot massage as I had been walking a lot the last few days, and I wasn't feeling much shoulder pain. Then halfway through the massage, another man came and asked if we wanted to add 10 minutes of back and shoulder massage. My husband, not exactly understanding what the man said, thought he meant that our massage has 10 mins of back and shoulder (which it does). So ended up it was $30 for our 50 min foot massage, plus $10 for 10 min of extra massage. What's worse, as I was so cheap as to reject all up-sell attempts, I totally felt their loss of interest in me, that they don't want to waste any energy or time on me. I am a massage place snob. After traveling the world and Atlanta, spending a ton of money on bad massages. This place always blows my mind. It's clean, friendly, quiet and extremely knowledgeable. I have a grade 3, slipped L5 spondylolisthesis. They always know to not press exactly in the broken bone area, but work around it. I picked this place because I saw it was "Atlanta's Best", but I was not impressed. When I walked in, the place was really stuffy and hot, and it smelled like food. The man who massaged me looked me up and down, and said "Oh I'm going to massage this lady??" when we were introduced. When he started the massage, he talked about my legs and said I must work out a lot. He said it more than once, and it was really uncomfortable. Also, I don't know if this is really part of the massage or not, but he put my leg over his shoulder and was jerking on it. Like many suburban white women, I first became acquainted with the wonders of foot massage from Treat Your Feet, a large, vaguely corporate "massage factory" with locations on Buford Highway and in Buckhead. But sometimes larger doesn't mean better, and it's sometimes hard to get an appointment or get a fully relaxing experience at such a busy establishment. On one such day when my feet needed some rubs, Treat Your Feet was all booked up. My husband and I were eating lunch at Gu's Noodles and saw H Massage on the sign across the parking lot. We popped in for an impulse massage and found that they were able to accommodate us right away. Since that first great rub, we've returned to H Massage multiple times. It's never been crowded, and we've always been able to get on the schedule right away. They also take appointments in advance. They do foot massages as well as full body massages in a variety of styles. There's even a decadent Four Hands Massage that I'm particularly eager to try. H Massage is clean, and the therapists are talented. My husband likes a deep tissue massage, and I like a more gentle approach. H Massage can accommodate us both while targeting specific areas - for me, it's my lower back which is always aching from my ambitious yard work endeavors and overall poor posture. I stopped in here after leaving my chiropractic appointment. I did a 30 minute massage as I was rushed for time. Annie was my massage therapist and she is awesome. She does a good deep tissue massage. Probably one of the best I have had. They also give u hot stones at the end and wipe the oil off your back which was an added bonus. I stopped back in a few days later with my family and got another 30 min massage, my son got a foot massage and he loved it. He's only 10 so I thought a regular massage would of been to much. I came in in serious pain. My neck and shoulders get a lot of pain due to several car accidents and, I was a walk-in. I prayed before I entered the building and asked for a kind and compassionate massage therapist. I was assigned Ming and, sure enough he was kind caring and compassionate!!!! He saw that I was in pain and suggested a full hour instead to break down those muscles. He said he needed the hour to do! I agreed and sure, it's an upgrade so it's more money but at least he cared!!! And, he broke that pain down and stretched me out to make me feel young and motivated again!!! He took his time and made sure that I was feeling better so, I then went ahead and got a full package with feet and left a nice tip!!! It never hurts to be kind and compassionate people!!! Great full body massages. I've been in about 5-6 times for the full body but only time I actually asked for the masseuse name is today. Anny is awesome. She is a petite girl but her strength and skills will take away all your knots. My body felt a hundred times lighter after our 90 min session. I will def be back and will only ask for her. But don't ask for her if you're not willing to tip her well, she deserves it. Five stars for Anny. Four stars for lack of ambience. From coworkers to banging. The music had cut off and it never got turned back on, which made me realize it does make a difference in the session. The music makes it more relaxing than just dead silence or in this case my breathing. My husband and I only have had problems when we got foot massages, he had three different people work on him because they kept switching out once clients came in and requested. That was very unprofessional being we were already in service and the right way would be for those clients to wait or have another masseuse. PART A: First, I chilled on this bada** La-Z-Boy-like chair that had a hole for your face. It's plush. It's gigantic. It's something that I want in my living room. PART B: Then, these two super nice Chinese ladies came out and one of them started massaging my head, shoulders, and back. Her titanium fingers felt amazing on my temple and shoulders. And if someone told me that my car had been jacked, I don't think I would've cared in that moment. PART C: They later brought out hot water for us to soak our feet in. After a few minutes, they began knuckling our arches, stretching our toes, and made parts crack that I didn't know were crack-a-ble. My masseuse also pressed down on my calves and thighs, which felt... interesting. PART D: Here's the craziest part. They brought out these tiny plastic hammers and started hammering our lower bodies, and it really hurt for me! I felt like an elf was mining my thighs for gold or something, yo. lol. Errr, they hurt so bad, and I yelped through the little hole in the chair. Lol. PART E: After receiving the beat down, they then picked up our legs and dropped them. I guess, it's to signify the end. *Side note: They also provide tea or water. III. AMBIENCE & DÉCOR Upon entering, you'll find a dimly lit room with these comfy chairs scattered about. They have private rooms in the back, but they're more expensive. Just know that if you decide to grab a chair in the front room distractions may include the following: -People entering and leaving the store might distract you. -Staff speaking Chinese. -See other customers possibly snoring. We recently visited Atlanta for our two year anniversary. We wanted to get a massage while in town so we chose H Massage. We did not have good results. We had a couples massage and both ladies did a terrible job on our massages. I don't know if they were tired or what but they weren't very effective. When they came into the room, they didn't ask us if we had any areas that were bothering us or if we wanted them to focus on a specific area. They didn't seem very professional. It's like they just started learning how to do massages. I don't feel that either of the two were certified. We get massages monthly and this is the worst one we've ever had. This massage parlor was decent. I'm used to actual spas but this was cool. My boyfriend and I got a couple's massage on a whim on a random Saturday afternoon. I heard about this place from a few people and the reviews on Yelp were pretty good. Plus, it was close to my house to we decided what the hell?! They were accommodating when I called and requested an appointment within the hour. I thought we would be a few minutes late but we arrived a minute before our appointment time. The owner and her husband were ever so nice and we got a discount for coming in a pair. The massage lasted about an hour long and they massaged everything from my head to my feet. I had to let them know not too hard on my back but everything was pretty cool. The massage was good. I would've liked it to have been a little softer or gentler rather. I guess my boyfriend enjoyed his because he was asleep (ZzzZzZZz - snoring). All in all, cool experience but I think I'll go to an actual spa next time. Me and my sister set up an appointment (even though not really needed I still recommend) for two 1 hour foot massages on a Saturday night around 8pm. They close at 11pm. The girl answering the phones has such good English and a soothing voice (lol) I literally thought I had called and received a professional voicemail greeting. The pictures here for the place are a bit misleading for nighttime. It is actually extremely relaxing and dark inside. It was very quiet as well. I felt so sleepy due to such relaxation and native hymns and what not playing on the speaker. Everything felt private enough and sectioned off. They soak your feet for about 10 minutes and then '40' minutes of kneading and beating your legs and feet with sticks (jk but yeah there's 2 minutes of that happening). I got freaked out when they finished the foot massage by rubbing a hot ass stone on the pads of the feet, pretty damn hot but so good on the legs. They then massage your head, face, neck, and shoulders. They'll do some crazy stretch type stuff hands over your head and pulling you in different ways. Having been to other places in Chamblee for massages I'd say this is my favorite so far. I will definitely be back to try the whole body massages. read more

This is the only massage/reflexology place I've tried on Buford Highway, and it's been good enough for the most part. You enter with a warm greeting from the desk person, and are promptly taken to your destination: either the multiple massage chairs in the front, or one of the private rooms in the back. I would suggest calling about an hour ahead to make sure they'll have someone ready when you arrive. The front room is dimly lit, with peaceful music playing throughout the place. The staff tries to keep their chatter to a minimum as well, but I've had a few instances where two friends worked side by side and chatted almost non-stop. The massages themselves, even if they differ slightly from person to person, are pretty good. Like most Eastern massage places, I'm not sure how much formal training the workers have received. The pressure is good, but their attention to privacy is a big fail. Both my girlfriend and I have had "handsy" experiences. I don't know that it's as intentional as it is about them just not seeing it as a big deal. Whereas western massage places really cover you up well and avoid certain areas, I had a lady massaging my entire butt without thinking twice! So if you're not ready for that, maybe tell them ahead of time like I do nowadays. If you want to avoid privacy issues altogether, opt for the super deal of a $30 hour long foot massage. Can't really beat the price! They use hot stones at the end, and you get a bit of a rub down on your scalp and arms as well. They also have a frequent visitor card that gives you $20 off after several sessions. I've been to some places that don't even try in the customer service department, so it's nice to see an establishment that does care. We got an hour long couples massage which included hot stone massage and then an hour long foot massage. I was in such heaven. I almost fell asleep during the foot massage which is impressive cause my feet are usually extremely ticklish. So two hours of massage for two people - 180 dollars That's like half the price of most places but damn they were good massages Wish they had champagne. If your doing a couples massage and would feel more comfortable with a woman massaging you than a guy, you should ask for 2 ladies. The one hour foot massage includes a 10-15 minute head /neck/shoulder and arm massage and is without question the best deal around. That is a whole lot of relaxation for just $30!! I haven't gotten a body massage since. it's a 1 hour foot massage for ONLY $30. the first 10 minutes they soak your feet, then massage your feet for the next 40 minutes, then for the last 10 minutes they massage your head, arms, thighs and legs. Found this place by accident and called to make an appointment for a couples massage. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and quickly confirmed my reservation. The other reviews were correct about the limited parking and shopping center but we were able to pull in and immediately get a spot. Upon entering we were greeted and shown to our room. I will say that the sheets were cheap looking but clean. Two women knocked and then entered for our hour long session, and it was AMAZING. I keep tension in my back and my masseuse kneaded my back like dough getting out all of my kinks and was even responsive to my sensitive (ticklish) areas. When we were done we were super relaxed. We were offered tea or water. I opted for tea, and though it came in a small cup it was satisfying after the full body massage. When it came time to pay I was told $120. Their YELP page states a couple massage is $90 and once I showed them, they honored the price and I'm glad. Will definitely return here. The prices are great and the service is good.
