Then, I received no hot stones, I was cold the whole time and only after the massage was over did I see there was a heating pad on the bed the entire time that wasn't turned on. Additionally, the woman didn't speak much English and wasn't able to provide me appropriate change for a tip. I called the number I had made to make an appointment and requested a partial refund but was not given it. Terrible experience and misleading service.

I just did the feet while he went for the back massage. Seriously these people have strong hands. I don't know how they work for an hour on a body part like that. There's nothing fancy in here, but it's just a really great way to force yourself to relax, which is hard for me to do, and to just get the royal treatment. It was so enjoyable. I was really debating where to go and get this done, but I'm glad we chose this place. I'd love to do it every weekend if I could. They do take AMEX which was another plus. It's also close to home & had pretty good reviews. I called and was able to schedule a same day 90 minute full body massage!! (Love the same day service, they're open later than most places, & they also accept walk-ins). * My masseuse was a really tall guy (at least 6 feet). I told him that my upper back and shoulders were killing me and asked for a deep tissue massage. That is exactly what I got!! He applied A LOT of pressure and focused on my specified areas. He also checked on me regularly to make sure that I was ok with the pressure. He did a great job working out all of the kinks. He also used hot rocks during the middle of the massage (I thought this was a plus as I wasn't expecting it) to help loosen up those muscles. If you've never had a head massage with essential oils, I will tell you it was way better than I anticipated and made me tingle from my head to my toes! The muscle tension relief was a hot towel soak to relax the muscles and some sort of nice thick therapy gel that reminded me of Tiger Balm. It was a thank you gift for him for helping her move. Unfortunately, shortly after getting the gift, my husband had to head out of town to care for his mother (who is battling cancer). After spending most of that month caring for her, he returned home for a weekend and I tried to book an appointment for him using his gift certificate. The woman working there said that the gift certificate was only valid for 30 days (and 35 days had passed). I explained the situation my husband had been in, and that he had been unable to use the certificate until now. (What kind of business only gives 30 days to redeem a $100 gift certificate?!?) Anyway, the woman there did not care at all about the circumstances, maintaining that the gift certificate had "expired!!" and they had "new management!" (After 35 days? Ummm ok). I asked for the owner to call me to discuss this situation, but I never received a call. The name for this business is ironic. Yes, "they won" my friend's hard earned $100 and gave NOTHING in exchange for it, a mere 35 days later. My friend works as a nanny, and I'm sad that she lost her money to a business with such poor business practices. It would have cost them nothing to honor this gift certificate 35 days later. Instead, they have lost thousands of dollars of future revenue from us and from everyone we have warned away from this place. If this is how they treat their loyal customers, they won't be "winning" for long. I am giving two stars only because the massages here are decent. However, the people who run it are obviously not.
