I called made the appointment and was there on time. The entire building had a smell of strong onions. I thought it was only up front but it was all throughout the business. The Massage guy was nice. The massage was just ok. I tipped him better than the massage was worth because I truly believe he was doing as he was taught by I dont know who, but he needs more training . He was very repetitive using only two types of massage strokes. It felt rushed and not relaxing honestly. There is a sign that says prefer cash when paying. I wish I knew beforehand. When it was time to pay I paid with my prepaid card that I use when i dont want to use my bank debit card. My debit card number was compromised too many times before during transactions in certain businesses. I had transferred money just before paying but i was told it declined twice VERY RUDELY by the front desk lady. The money was clearly there but it wasnt my fault it was showing error. This lady stared at me with distrust for a few seconds. At this time I'm assuming she thought I wasnt gonna pay for the service. I kept saying im sorry hold on checking my prepaid card account and seeing the money was available. I then handed her my bank debit card and paid. The massages were great, however the checkout associate at the front desk was absolutely disgusting as it pertains to her rudeness. I paid $90 for a service, I left my credit card at home so I tipped $4. She responds "$2, You only leave $2". First and foremost Tips are optional as I just paid $90 for a service. If she was that concerned then she can deduct additional monies from what I paid. Under no circumstance should she have opened her mouth to question my desired tip. That's OPTIONAL. As a company, if you're so concerned with tips then value your employees by paying them more than what they receive. We referred over 25 family and friends to your center but please understand that I will be sharing my experience with both family and friends in addition to adding this information to my Yelp page so that customers are aware of how your fro t desk manager tactlessly conducts herself. My massage was everything ! Came as a walk-in and after selecting the full body deep tissue, was seen right away. I love how quiet and clean the entire building was. I had my own personal room, and my masseuse (although I didn't catch his name) was great. First I started with a weird foot massage i say weird because its kind of in a relaxing theater like setting.. But the sounds and ambiance is so peaceful. they literally wash your feet and massage it so go you just want to go to sleep...Then after I walked to a small room where a man with great hands rubbed me down (I oddly did not feel violated or embarrassed or anything, he was very respectful) ... Love this place! Relax Center is only minutes from my house and I've always had a great experience here. I started coming to Relax Center for foot massages, or Reflexology. Oftentimes I would include this as an activity for a girls' night out or with a group of friends. They have a few private rooms for reflexology, so it's a nice retreat to not be in a huge room with a bunch of strangers like you'll experience at other foot massages places. For reflexology, expect to sit on large, comfortable chairs. There are plush pillows and blankets to provide you additional relaxation. I've only ever had great experiences with all the massage techs here. They have great surprises throughout the massage, including hot stones! Reflexology also comes with a shoulder massage and it really is a great way to relieve stress. I've also tried a variety of full-body massages at Relax Center. Normally, I opt for the Swedish massage but on my most recent visit I've had the deep tissue massage. The Swedish massage is very relaxing and will leave you feeling on cloud 9. The deep tissue massage was just what I needed. The tech regularly checked in and asked about the pressure he was applying and if he needed to lighten up. I scheduled an hour long foot massage at the Relax Center for 10:30 on a Monday. They're located on Peachtree Rd. in a plaza with UPS. The parking lot is shared and pretty small but it doesn't seem like it gets too busy. I got there five minutes before my scheduled appointment and was immediately led back to the room. There were no forms or anything to fill out. The foot massages take place in a dimly lit communal room with several large recliner chairs. It reminds me of the way someone might set up a nicer home theater. Before the massage started, they brought me a mini bottle of water and had me soak my feet for a couple of minutes. Anyone who gets pedicures knows the massage part of the pedicure is the best part. This was basically that on steroids. The foot massage was amazing and detailed (down to each toe getting specialized attention!). The masseuse applied good pressure which I really appreciated. The massage also involved hot stones and the last 15 minutes was a neck, shoulder, and back massage. The space itself is nice and clean. The music in the background was soothing but not distracting. So let me tell you about my experience. Walking in the front desk ladies are friendly and the establishment is very clean and inviting. Then you are escorted back to a quaint and quiet room with a waterfall in the background. Then you are sat in a very comfortable chair to relax. Someone come to wash your feet and then the foot massage begins. Oh! And the cost is only $30 for 1 hour!! That is a great deal. But it gets better! I have been to a foot massage place before. So I was expecting it to be the same. This place gave a little bit more nurturing treatment. I had Sam as my massage therapist. In the beginning he was being gentle, I informed him to apply more pressure and he took the direction well. His pressure then became perfect. Really getting into the spots that needed it. Then he left for a second and came back with HOT STONES :-)!! Felt AMAZING! Then after the feet were done he sat me up and really got into my back and even stretched me out. I left feeling so relieved and less tight. It was a wonderful experience and as I mentioned, I will be back. Run by some psycho at the front desk who is extremely rude. We called and ask for walk in availability, she said yes for foot or body. We said probably one of each and that we'd come in sometime later. When we arrived as a walk in we had decided on 2 foot massages, she became irate and yelled "You call! One body and one foot! NO CHANGE!" We politely said we'd like two foot instead and she said "no, no change allowed!" - okay, crazy, how about no business at all? We walked right out. Relax center told me immediately to come in and they would have a female masseuse for me. what's also great is that they seem to be one of the only places open until the labor hours. They close at 10 p.m. I think every day. I went in for a 30-minute foot massage and 30 minute back massage. It was only $50 and I really got my money's worth. The massage therapist in and just do my upper back, she basically did everything in 30 minutes and then asked me if I wanted more. I would have added more if I didn't have to head home. ask for Lisa. I know these places often don't use enough foot pressure, but she really dug in there. She also made sure my heels no longer hurt after a long day of standing at work! Best and most unique massage of my life! I was having pain from an old injury and desperate to find a place that was affordable but could also take me at the last minute. I called and the receptionist said to walk in whenever so I did. I asked for a swedish massage and they promptly took me to a room to get ready. I did not get to meet my masseuse until I was already laying face down. She came in and confirmed a swedish massage and started working. I did tell her about my trouble spot and she said she will focus on it. Her name was Lisa and she is incredible! A few useful things to note as this may not be for everyone however, if you speak up I'm sure they will make adjustments as needed: - there is no verbal consultation prior to massage so you have to open your mouth and tell them if you have a specific area to work on. - the staff is incredibly talented and eager to please, if there are any language barriers (which I did not personally experience), they are more than willing to work with you to get on the same page. - the massage itself had the PERFECT pressure/firmness for me. Having had many massages before, my preference is a relaxing massage but still firm enough to release some soreness and/or knots. Lisa used many different techniques and used her entire body to give enough pressure. She also used her thumbs, knuckles, forearms, and all kinds of magic techniques. This was not a person who was lazy and trying to "conserve their energy". She gave it her all and I am so appreciative because she was able to heal me! - this is not a place where they are afraid to touch you! Let me explain... You should be comfortable with feeling a bit exposed because they will massage the top of your butt muscles, etc. Having said that, Lisa was extremely professional, courteous, and effective. A massage is a very personal experience as a complete stranger is touching you so if you're weirded out by that, this may not be the place for you. Again, professionalism was top notch! - Lisa used hot stones, hot towels, chopping technique (?) and did many stretches on my body. I was put in different positions unlike any other massage I've ever had. There were a lot of stretches but it was very much needed in my case. -Lastly, she managed her time masterfully. You know how sometimes you are having a massage and just when it's getting good and you're relaxing the time is up? This was the complete opposite, I was totally satisfied with how long she spent massaging each area and the hour went by very slowly and I mean that in the best way possible. She didn't rush through anything and really helped to relieve my pain. It was $60 for an hour long swedish massage and absolutely worth it! The place is nice, I guess, but the guy who gave my my massage was honestly the worst I've ever had. He was creepily breathing so loudly the entire time and grunting. I specifically told him not to touch my face or hair and he massaged my face for a solid 10 minutes and my hair for 5 (I should have told him to stop but his English was terrible). He also used hot stones and clapped them excessively and literally threw them onto the table right next to my head. I pushed them over as they were pulling on my hair and he THREW them on the ground. Idk how this is rated so highly bc I'm highly disappointed. Went in for a hour massage and the dude was doing the same two motions. I'd ask for different strokes and to focus on another area, but there was clearly a language barrier. I remember reading a review with a woman with the same complaint, so instead of wasting all my $60, I asked for another more experienced therapist. I tried explaining to the woman helping me but I don't think she was that fluent in English either. She tried to say he was experienced but ultimately got me another lady. She was slightly better but overall, this still was a trash massage. I probably should have stopped after 10min and took my a** home and used a foam roller. To the second lady's credit, her stretching was descent however the areas requested to focus on still weren't given the proper attention. Walked in for a 30 minute/$35 chair massage without an appointment. After sitting in the waiting space for only a brief moment, I was taken back for my treatment. I found it odd that I was never asked to fill out any type of paperwork whatsoever -- not even a waiver or general information. In fact, they never even asked for my name. The massage was pretty good. I'm giving only 3 stars though because I wasn't asked about any areas of concern (injuries or otherwise), and he spent very little time in my neck (which happened to be the main reason for my visit). In fact, with about 5 minutes left, he tried to convince me to pay $60 for another 30 minutes (opposer to $35 for 30), and THEN began the short time on my neck -- sort of leaving me to think that that's how they get you to spend/ do more. I declined. For what I paid, the convenience, the pleasant staff and clean facilities, I'll be back and will likely be more assertive next time about indicating where I'd like them to focus most of their time. Do not be deterred by the drab, depressing shopping center where Relax Center is located: the exterior desperately needs a face-lift, but inside this place is gorgeous, clean, and super modern. It's absolutely as nice as much pricier spas in the area. Think Buford Highway pricing with Spa Sydell design. So far, I've only had the 30 minute foot massage, but it was excellent. They had a dark, pleasant communal room with super comfortable recliners. The ambiance was very relaxing even with other patrons sharing the same room. The massage itself was wonderful and probably snuck into about 40 actual minutes of chair time, which is a nice contrast to "hour-long" massage places that have you packing up in 50 minutes. I will definitely be back to try some of their other services. read more

Found my go to place for a foot massage for 30 bucks + close to my home. Parking - I say medium. Relax Center shares the lot with other shops. You might have to park a little further away. I only came late at night, so I haven't had much trouble. I can only imagine at peak times, parking can be tough. I've had probably 4-5 different foot massage people. All of them were great. If pressure was too low, I quickly asked them for more pressure. Before the massage, you will have some hot water for your feet. They soap/water your feet and then dry them. During the massage, they use hot stones and the 2 orange feet hitters (?). Feels glorious. As for back massage, I've only had 1 and it felt so good.... I think I fell asleep for some of it. I'm sort of ashamed of this... but I come here like once a month, lol. I run often so that's my main excuse.... read more

Our first experience here was awesome. From the receptionist and beyond. Today, we went for our anniversary. We arrived early. The young lady at the front desk was rude. Typically someone would ask whether you prefer a male or female for your service.... today we were not so when a male came to service my husband we asked for a female. With an attitude, the receptionist explained that it would be an additional 30-min. We declined however asked that a female conduct the massage at the end. Again with an attitude the receptionist shared that it's only a 10-minute massage. Clearly I didn't care whether it was a minute or 20 minute massage as a customer we requested a female so the statement was unnecessary. During the massage I had to ask for dry towels because the towels were very damp. There seemed to be a disgruntlement and discussion regarding the fact that I asked for DRY towels. I visit several foot spas around Atlanta so I know the process like the back of my hand. When we checked out there again I didn't like the demeanor of the receptionist. Having lived in Asia for several years and not being a stranger to the benefits of reflexology I'm always seeking out good , convenient studios here in Atlanta . Haven't been successful yet but this experience was the worst thus far. Walked in after booking two one hour foot massages on line the night before for my daughter and me. The extremely rude receptionist did not acknowledge our existence , rather she continued her non business conversation in Chinese on the phone . Since she spoke softly I couldn't hear if it was mandarin ,catonese or hokkien - but I can distinguish. Someone came out to fetch us again rudely and confused taking us back to the treatment beds not once was anyone welcoming . The therapists were quick and abrupt not at all relaxing , why because we were getting a half hour treatment. Annoyed I return to the receptionist showing her my confirmation and telling her how dissatisfied we were . Not one apology . Perhaps if the front desk ran the business as a service rather than an annoyance I'd return . But my search will continue and I'll not recommend this establishment to anyone . read more
