Super knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and clearly passionate about what he does. I then met with Dr. Wetzel, who walked me through the best procedure for my situation, FUT, which doesn't require shaving a large section of my head for extraction of the donor follicles. I got the procedure scheduled the day of my consultation. Leading up to the surgery, the office did a great job keeping me informed and prepared, which really helped with my nerves. I knew exactly what to expect before, during, and after. On the day of, Dr. Wetzel gave me plenty of time to ask questions before we got started, and the whole team checked in on me constantly throughout, making sure I was comfortable and managing any discomfort as needed. A valum is normally provided but if no surgery is scheduled for the day the pill case is locked and no one can get inside it and you have no pain pills. This pigmentation, that was supposed to replicate hair follicles, turned out to be a horrible and disgusting mess of a tattoo that is on my scalp. I am now forced to live with this and pay even more money to get it taken off. She guaranteed that it would look completely natural, when the contract that was signed stated that the practitioner is not responsible for the quality of the interpretation of the tattoo, implying that there is a chance it could look terrible. $4,000 was given to her to complete this. It was a waste of my time and certainly a waste of my money. She does not deserve a penny of it for the extremely poor quality of the job, and how I was treated when asking questions. The dots are too large and the wrong kind of ink was used. The hairline all over is extremely straight and unnatural. I consulted His Hair Clinic and Scalp Aesthetics for a review of this job. Both of these companies are well-established and reputable and stated that this procedure is clearly not passable, and is pathetic in how it was outlined. She refused to give me a refund. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of going to Atlanta Hair Replication Specialists, anticipating being able to pass this off as a fine-looking buzz cut.
