Went for a massage yesterday (90 min deep tissue) and realized I had been here before, but it's been some time. Just as I remembered, the facility is very clean and seems well organized. I was able to make a same-day appointment which is awesome. Jason was great. He worked out some serious tension, but seemed to intuit when I needed a check-in about pressure. Creeps. Multiple ways they massaged me in a sexually inappropriate way. Took way too long to say 'turn over. Dirty linens. Tried to stack stones in a way to create a hot flash, immediately draped a hot linen over my head and neck. Kept a hot towel all the way down my back and coated in a sheet. Then massaged me with hot stones really fast with the intent to create a flash. Just digusting weird. And the guy with buck teeth was dripping with oil on his face. And my masseuse seemed to do everything in his power to give me a hot flash -- doing all sorts of weird things like massage me all over with hot stones instead of laying them still, put a giant wet rag on my bag and cover with sheet, instead of wiping down per practice. Wow! I have never felt so relaxed in my life until going to Refresh Massage for a couples massage. I called days ahead to make an appointment for Friday morning. I'm guessing I probably didn't need to since it was empty when we arrived. We arrived a few minutes before our appointment time then we were walked to our private room. It's very serene and tidy inside, then we waited a few short minutes for our therapists to come. The therapist was a guy at the time and constantly asked me if the pressure was fine. I have been looking for a massage place for over a year since I moved into the neighborhood. I booked an hour massage same day. The location was quiet, clean and off the main street. There are two good restaurants next door. The front desk staff is friendly. My therapist Alan knew exactly what he was doing and didn't ask me a bunch of questions. We both work stressful jobs so this was a much needed way to relieve some of the Sunday Scaries before the week starts. Love this place! Getting a massage is a treat at my age (72), and I asked the masseuse, Jason, to make it firm since I could feel the tightness in my neck and shoulders. Even though his English is limited (as is my Mandarin) he was very responsive and did an excellent job of kneading out the muscle tightness for a full hour, including hot stones and steamed towels to finish it out. Where do I start? I called this morning to get an appointment today and was accommodated! I went in and Sandy was my massage therapist. She is AMAZING!!! Her hands are like fire which melted away all the pain I was experiencing all week. I suffer from a herniated disk and I have lower back pain that comes and goes. She was very in-tuned with my body, getting all the knots and tension out. She checked with me to make sure the pressure was good (I always appreciate that especially when getting a deep tissue massage). The environment is also very relaxing with beautiful decor. Ok I won't babble on, but I'll say this. I live in South Fulton, but I will gladly drive here to let Sandy melt away the stress and trauma bought on by work. The prices are very reasonable and I love they don't pressure you to tip. I did generously, but she absolutely deserved every penny! I can't say enough good things! I had a $10 off coupon for a 60 minute full body massage. My masseuse was a man who was very good at his job but I wish they asked us if we preferred a man or a woman masseuse. A couple other things that I will critique on: The walls are thin in the massage rooms so you do hear outside noises. I noticed that they did not have us fill out a medical history form before the massage and I feel like they need to have us fill one out (like if we have a pacemaker,arthritis, allergies, etc.) Other than those two things, I feel like they did a good job and I will definitely be coming back. read more

I requested the 60min full body massage and 30min foot massage. I was asked what type of pressure that I wanted. I opted for medium because I was very sore from working out and couldn't endure heavy pressure. Ask for Mark! He was exceptional and professional! He asked if the pressure was to my liking. My friend and I visited Refresh Massage on a whim. We were actually headed to one of my favorite spots for a foot massage, but passed by here and saw a huge banner for a grand opening special. It was early evening on a Sunday and we were one of the only clients in the place. Upon entering, the lobby area looks clean, soft, and welcoming. There is warm lighting and a gorgeous chandelier to admire. The lady behind the counter greeted us enthusiastically and wanted to know how we found out about Refresh - apparently it is their first week in business. She gave us a rundown of their services and we opted for reflexology (foot massages). We were escorted to a room just the right size - it was a private room with 2 massage chairs. Our guys came in almost immediately and started working on our heads, then shoulders, then feet. The entire session lasted 60 minutes and was very enjoyable. I've been to a bunch of foot massage places before where they skimp on the service or do a half-attempt job at a massage, and this place is definitely not that. They go all in and really treat all your kinks. Two days later I am still feeling the relief of pressure in my legs, feet, and shoulder. This must be the newest massage place in town and I think it can live up to the competition! Definitely give this place a try! read more
