Do not use this place if you need to feel better or need real help like i did today. I went in for a foot massage. I told the girl up front ( because quite often these places the service providers do not speak English so I need them to translate which should not be allowed in my opinion) that i have plantar faciatis in my right heel & foot and i NEED lot of pressure IN MY HEAL , all over and extra on tops of feet. I was very clear about what i needed and wanted. She supposedly tells him. So the guy comes and barely greets me and gives me nice hot water to soak in which lasted about two minutes. That was the best part of the whole massage and it was over before i could even enjoy it. Not only was this just the worst massage I've had on my feet, it was as if an untrained boyfriend was giving me a light- medium pressure UNSKILLED FOOT CREAMING. Ugh im so annoyed right now because not only did the prices go up for a 30 minute massage charging $26 but when I walked in I clearly told the girl I need somebody really good and really strong because my foot hurts. I kept telling the guy please more pressure i can barely feel it. He kept using more cream which is terrible for getting more pressure. I could go on about the horrible techniques, lack of knowledge of reflexology and how the manager did NOT CARE AT ALL BUT ill just say this.... This business does not care about health care, the appearance of their spot or THE CLIENTS NEEDS AND HELPING you feel better. AVOid this place like the plague. This is in response to a review from "Shanelle" who posted right before me (I figured that person would post about racism, so needed to balance it out) I've been coming here a few years now. It's not fancy, but they do good massages, and it's clean and close to my work. I usually walk-in, but you shouldn't expect that anywhere in Covid times. I'm finally writing a review today because of 2 dumb women who can't comprehend math or logistics (I assume one of them is "Shanelle") They walked in before me, and the staff started calling to try to find an extra staff member to come in so both ladies could get their massages together. The front desk person told them it would be an hour since they were too busy. I overheard and said I would leave since they had no room, but he said "no, we have room for one person, but not two people." The Ethiopian-appearing ladies said "how come you are taking her but not us?" and he repeated himself, and they asked again, so I politely repeated that he could take one but not two, since I thought maybe the accent was the issue (I'm Asian and used to accents). The customer rudely told me she wasn't talking to me. Then she and her friend said "unbelievable- it's because she's white" as they walked out. By the way I'm not white, and I'm pretty sure every other customer in there already getting their massages was black. Lessons: 1) if you don't want to be disappointed when you walk in, then call ahead - especially if you are requesting a longer massage for more than one person. 2) just because you don't get your way doesn't mean people are being racist towards you. read more

I called about 20 minutes before arriving and they were able to accommodate me. I went with a 30 minute foot massage and 30 minute hot stone body massage for only $51.00. I mean who would turn that deal down??? Kenny G and Sade played in the background while the masseuse did his thing. I loved the reflexology and acupressure which sets it apart from majority of massages I've received in the past. If I lived in Atlanta, I'd probably be here more than I should. LPL was pretty great as far as foot massages go. It's $30 for an hour massage which is on par with Treat Your Feet and $5 more expensive than Harmony massage. LPL has an advantage though; it is much closer to where I live than the other locations. They have a private parking lot out front off of North Druid Hills Road with ample parking. When you go inside, it is dimly lit and soft music is playing. You choose what type of massage you want (foot, full body, chair, etc.) and off you go. Their foot massage was thorough and included hot stones, and a brief (10 min) massage of your neck, scalp, face, shoulders, arms, and hands. Overall, LPL was pretty great and I think I'll be back. Only negative: The man who was massaging my feet talked to the woman next to him loudly for the first five to ten minutes of the massage and I was afraid it would last the entire massage (luckily, it did not) read more

I went by the massage shop around 8:30 PM. I was told no female Masseuse were available come back in 15 mins. My leg was bothering me so I went to my car and waited 15 mins. Came back in shop and was told wait another 30 mins. At this point it's 9:30 PM and the female Masseuse acted if she didn't want to give me a one hour massage. If that was the case she could have stated that and I would have just left. WORSE MASSAGE EVER! She was on her phone the ENTIRE one hour massage. Most of the time she just one elbow resting on my back for mins at a time while texting on her phone. I would not recommend this place to any one. Booked a massage an hour beforehand, and LPL was accommodating with the appointment. Arrived and was checked in quickly. The entire experience was pleasant and I think I had one of the best massages ever. The therapist was attentive and the room was quiet and dark with soft music. I paid $40 for the hour-long foot, neck, and back massage and it was worth it. My only recommendation is to insulate the foot massage room a little better from the front desk. After completing a series of visits with a physical therapist for trouble with my shoulders and neck, I began seeing a sports massage therapist in Buckhead. I augmented the sports massage with occasional full-body massages at an expensive local chain in Brookhaven. However, one morning on a lark, I decided to stop in at LPL for a "head to toe" massage while I was looking to kill some time. The massage therapist working on me noticed the trouble in my shoulder area and suggested that I add on 20 minutes so he could work on them for me. I agreed, and his work was just as good if not better than the physical therapist's-- and a fraction of the price! After that, I became a weekly visitor at LPL. I think I've seen the whole staff by now, and they're all very good, with different areas of specialty. I don't even request anyone in particular because I enjoy the variety. You won't get the woo-woo aromatherapies and spa robes and bamboo sheets here, but the place is clean, simple, and incredibly effective. read more

Pretty good. it's hard to relax because of the noise level, but it's only $25.00 for an hour foot massage, so I didn't have high expectations. The massage was good. Pressure was great, maybe even a little too hard. Sometimes it feels repetitive and routine. sometimes it feels like they hit the right spot perfectly. I ask for Leo every time. This time something was different. Throughout the hour long body massage he pressed his penis continuously into my hands and other body parts. While I was in one of the closed back rooms, totally nude and only under a sheet. I tried telling myself it wasn't what I thought but soon realized it was exactly as I thought. I was frozen in fear. I feel assaulted. He then wanted to awkwardly hug me and thank me when it was all over and I was still nude only under a sheet. I'm horrified. So unhappy. I come here often. I even bring my young daughter, my boyfriend and friends. I got my money back and I will never return even after the company has profusely apologized for his behavior. read more

This place is very inconsistent! Sometimes the masseuse are good sometimes they're Not but this place is a definite no thrills place. It is freezing cold and smells old and musty. They charge extra for taking a credit card. My biggest complaint is that they don't really do a full hour it's more like 50 minutes. And it's not full body like they say it's mainly the back no neck no shoulders no legs no arms. And then for the foot massage it's literally just your feet not even really your legs. It's very inconsistent sometimes I've had masseuse that do a little bit more of your legs during the foot massage. Either way I will not be going back to this place it's too inconsistent and not nice. And they have no shame in asking you for more of a tip! Since when did 20% not be the norm? You're better off going to a massage heights or a massage envy at least they have more qualified masseuse and consistency for around the same price. I have been getting Chinese massage for many years, but since my regular masseuse moved from N DeKalb Mall to Duluth, it's been hard to keep it up. I have been to LPL several times. Beside the first time (after they just opened), each experience has been great. These ladies really know their stuff. Lily is my favorite so far. I am one for the "make me scream" massage, but I am sure they also have gentler hands for those who are not keen on pain (even though it hurts so good). Very poor scheduling and business management. I've been here twice and experienced scheduling problems both times and after the last time, I won't go back. I made an appointment and they kept me waiting for a half hour after telling me it would only be a ten minute wait and after taking another group ahead of me even though I was there first. They appear to prioritize groups over individuals. Was happy this opened in my neighborhood but based on my experiences I won't be back. There are too many other similar places.
