I have been a loyal customer at Royal Nails for years now but unfortunately this has to be my worse experience. August 30th I came to my appointment at 5pm and I got brand new acrylics put on, he did a fantastic job on the design but unfortunately afterwards literally a day later my fingertips became infected. I didn't know what could have caused the discoloration so I applied vaseline and coconut oil in hopes it would help but it did not. It just became more irritated, not even a week later I had to remove my nails at home. Very unfortunate situation that must be looked into further because even after removing my nails I am in great discomfort and my fingertips are extremely sensitive. read more

I've been going there twice a month for the last three years. They are the only ones that makes my nails look absolutely natural.

This may be my new go-to pedi place. The price is right at $30 for a pedi, and the polish job lasts for weeks. It's a large and bright establishment. The staff seem very friendly. I have had good luck with Jessie. She is sweet and very talkative. My daughter (13 years) had an appointment with Sandy recently and while she had a hard time understanding her, Sandy did an excellent job and really took her time with my daughters pedi. I'll be happy to see her in the future as well. I will probably continue to call ahead and make an appointment (I just started doing this) it's so simple and saves any wait time. Note! The map on Yelp does not show the correct location, so map it on your phone. It's in the complex with Shallowford Animal Hospital and Brusters. read more

I went to ROYA on 2300 Shallowford Rd. Marietta for a cut and style, Roya did a wonderful job!

I love this place sooooo much! Angel does my nails! I get the sns nails and typically one or two designs. She can literally make any design! Her work is soo on point. She's kinda quiet so don't hold that against her, she's focused lol. But her husband works next to her so if you are feeling chatty, bother him! He loves to talk my friend always goes to him! He's really good too! She always gets designs and allows him to freestyle. Are nails are always the same shape on each finger. I think they are priced fairly, especially for the quality of work done. They aren't crazy expensive, but they aren't cheap either. Angel stays pretty booked, so scheduled an appointment before coming in. read more

I've been to quite a few nail salons around East Cobb and this one is simply the best. They speak English well and their customer service is top notice. I had a few nails to break after lifting a heavy box and Vincent replaced them for free. Lily is simply amazing and can paint some of the cutest petite designs. I'm hooked on Royal Nails! Updating my review 3/12/18. I have returned to the establishment a handful of times since posting my initial review. I must admit I have not even been 90% satisfied with each individual time (s) after returning. It's a fact that if Lilly or Vincent is not able to do your nails you never know what the quality or outcome will be. I have had some extremely poor service since my initial review. I will also add that I never know how much my total is going to be upon checking out. Each and every time it has been different and I haven't changed a thing. I keep it simple. Vincent seems so confused as to the 10% off services if you are a Yelp member and you check in. Each and every time I go to check out they all act like they have no idea what I am talking about. I think it's time to move along. read more

They just lost my business after a little over a year of going there.. thursday I got my sns. Friday 1 cracked and took my real nail with it later that night.. Saturday, another 1. Monday,, another 1... I called Monday because I work until 7pm every day (just like they do) and didn't have off until Wednesday. They said ok, come in at 1. So I did. When I got there they basically said they were not fixing my nails because of how long it's been. My nails literally lasted overnight. My last sns manicure from here lasted about 3.5 weeks. I cannot and will not recommend any female here touching your hands. The men do great work but the females are rude and do a very bad job. read more

Kenny was my nail technician and he did an amazing job. He spent a majority of the appointment ensuring my nails were shaped perfectly and he made sure to compare my hands to make sure all nails were the same. He took so much care buffing my nails. Less than average pedicure. They charge an extra dollar without asking because they have to clean your chair. It doesn't matter that it's just a dollar, it's the fact that they try to do it by being sneaky. Deluxe pedicure advertised at 40 minutes, done in 28. read more

My first visit & very impressed with the salon. The staff is extremely friendly & knowledgable. The salon is spacious & clean. The atmosphere is very calm & relaxing. Eric & Sandy were terrific! I am very sad to "break up" with my other nail salon but I am here to stay. I had a the Luxury Spa Pedicure.... Probably the best pedicure I've ever had. Eric put on a new set of nails for me. Royal Nails - Luxury Spa Pedicure.... OMG!!!! Loved it! - Nail Salons Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

I walked into Royal Nails as a first time customer, asked if they did SNS nails, the lady said yes. I asked how much, she replied $35. So I am thinking great! ... I pick out my color and she starts to remove the gel polish I currently have on. Then continues on by cutting and shaping my nails. So now of course I am waiting for her to do my cuticles like every other nail service.... that never happens. She started applying the SNS polish right away, so I was like maybe that's just the was they do SNS, cuticles come last? When she was done with the polish she asked me to wash my hands. I turned around from the sink to find another nail tech holding my phone towards the checkout counter and another customer sitting in my seat next to my purse..... I was not aware I was done with my service, my cuticles were not yet done & I did not receive an hand / arm massage? I asked why my cuticles did not get done and the manager (I'm assuming) told me that is an additional service you have to ask for and pay $5 additional... that's a joke right??? By far one of the strangest nail salon experiences I've ever had!!! I have been getting my nails done for 12+ years, receiving multiple different types of nail services (mani, acrylics, gel polish, sns, etc.) from various salons throughout different states. I do not recommend this salon due to the lack of service and communication with the customers. *I am giving them a 2 star instead of 1 star because the polish does look good, even though my cuticles look like trash. read more

The only thing worse than the quality of the manicure was the attitude of the manager. The polish was applied unevenly and sloppily, with plenty of residue left on my fingers; my elementary school students could have done a better job staying within the lines. When I spoke with the manager and asked him if the manicure could be cleaned up, he completely dismissed my concerns and treated me like I was the problem. Even after I showed him specifically what was causing my disappointment with the job, he deflected and blamed my nails and said that's how a manicure is supposed to look (contradictory in itself). I wasn't looking for a freebie, but just a clean and professional nail treatment. I've tried this salon a couple of times now, but won't be returning after today. I would have been happier throwing $70 in the garbage; instead, I paid $70 for poor quality AND was treated like a child. read more

Royal treated our family like royalty on XMas eve. They were so accommodating for a group of 4 last minute. Mom got the star treatment, and was cared for with much patience. My 7 year-old niece loved getting a mani and pedi in the special kids chair! She even got some snowflake and bow nail designs. The deluxe pedi was the best I've had in a while, my feet are baby smooth! We highly recommend Royal Nails and will return when we need pampering. read more

Royal Nails on Shallowford at Trickum in East Cobb is my FAVORITE pedicure experience (yes, I'm a guy, and I don't lose my Man Card for happy #HappyFeet). SINDY takes good care of me, and my size 15 feet are probably more than the normal amount of skin to pamper! I highly recommend the Deluxe pedicure package, complete with hot towels and exfoliating sugar scrub! The first impression of Royal Nails is how CLEAN it is ... and the entire staff is VERY professional. They speak impeccable English, so there's never difficulty communicating! The massage chairs are brand-new, and the attention to good hygiene & clean tools is above-and-beyond the norm! I can't recommend SINDY and Royal Nails highly enough - they are AWESOME!!! I had the SNS French pink and white process done on my nails. Vincent assured me that he had been doing this process for many years and guaranteed his work. After 10 days, they began turned yellow on the pink and crusting at the bottom. I was out of town when they started turning and called when I returned the morning after 2 weeks to tell them and the lady I made an appointment with said to come in and they would fix them. the morning of the appointment I called to book an additional appointment for my neighbor to come with me and confirmed that my nails were being fixed as guaranteed. I was then told that I would have to pay to have my nails fixed even though they had been guaranteed for 2 weeks. I have used nail Shack in East Atlanta SNS FRENCH for 5 years and have never had this occur. I will not be back and will not recommend. read more

Basic manicure was marginal at best and the salon was dirty. Table tops look terrible and when I dried my nail polish, there was so mush dust on table that my hands came out chalky. Cleanliness is so important. The two stars are for the Manager who was very nice. Will not be going back. read more

I will not be coming back to this salon. I was a walk in. When I was picking out my color they said "take your time" then hounded me every 5 seconds..."do you need help?". Then the lady doing my nails finally said "well just come on, let me do your nails first then you can worry about color....I've got customers coming in,". In a very short tone. So, They rushed me in picking out my colors. Then she did my nails but they look big and clunky. I am very disappointed. To boot, she messed up my thumb and just kept on going and. "Swept it under the rug." It pisses me off when I'm paying for a service and people act like you are inconveniencing them. The gel light machine was caked in greasy residue on the inside from a previous customer. For the first time ever I did not leave a tip when getting my nails done. Oh that's another thing - there are very visible signs posted all over the place that day "tips ins CASH are greatly appreciated." ...really? Who does that. As Bon qui qui would say...."RUDE!!" read more

I went there yesterday for a fill in and pedicure. First thing I saw was their variety of nail polish which I loved. Also they put plastic in there tubs which is a plus. The girl that did my pedicure was nice, made sure to ask how she was doing my pedi along the way. She just didn't paint my toe nails well. I noticed it the next day how crappy it was done. The girl who did my fill in did good. If I go back I'll go back to her just someone different for my pedi. Also my nail broke already.. That's annoying especially when I just got it done. I may go back again.. But I may not. read more

Best gel manicure I have ever gotten. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I even got to try some of the egg rolls made special for the holidays by my nail tech's mom. Don't go here they don't stand behind there work! My thumb nail chipped after only two days and my other thumb nail chipped and nail broke after a week!! She also said there would be a charge for fixing them I just paid 40.00 for my nails and didn't think I should have to pay for chipped nails so I told her I would go somewhere else and she didn't even care?Very unprofessional of this place that I used to like going to!!!! read more

I tried this place after a bad experience at another nail salon in the neighborhood. I was able to get an appointment for my friend and I to get a SNS manicure and a pedicure. I arrived right at our appointment time, but my friend was already there and got her pedicure started. We couldn't sit together, but that's not a huge deal. Angel did a great job on my manicure. I've never gotten tips before because I was nervous about damage, but I'm glad I got them this time. It makes my nails look even better! I do wish that they had done a little more cuticle work, especially since it costs extra. I also wasn't impressed with the atmosphere compared to other nail salons I've been. Considering the price and the atmosphere, I'm giving it 3 stars, but they did do great work. I'll be back. read more
