I had the same experience with this business regarding "expired" gift cards. First off, I received this gift card as a gift for my bridal shower. When we called to book an appointment, the woman on the line said she found my gift card, stated my name and the amount. Then after she saw the purchase date, proceeded to tell my husband that the gift card was "booted" out of the system. How was it booted out of the system when you just pulled it up? So I called, the woman then told me that there is an expiration date on the paper. There was no expiration date. Then she says, oh well in the fine print, it says you can't use it after a year. When I read the fine print, it mentioned that the gift card must be valid for a year from the date of the reopening of the spa due (April 2020) to COVID-19 virus closure. My gift card was purchased in 2022 so I had no idea that applied to this. If there's a one year "policy" the person purchasing the gift card needs to be made aware. Nonetheless, this business is essentially stealing money. Someone paid this business $80, all for nothing. That is stealing, I don't care how you look at it. On top of that, I am looking for a new spa to get massages I would've loved to try this business out to see if I could make it a part of my self care routine. But I will never spend my money here. I write blogs & create content for places people need to try while in Atlanta. I've seen quality customer service, and this place is just not it. Amazing! I went there for the first time today for a facial, and I was very satisfied with my experience! If you are a first timer, make sure you come early because there are some paper work they want you to fill out to better serve you. The receptionist was really nice. After I checked in with her, she showed me the bathroom, waited for me, and then showed me the locker room and my robe and slippers. The specialist that did my facial was Dawn. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She asked me some questions to get to know the routine for my face, and then she looked at my skin for my skin type. She did my facial according to my skin type and the needs of my face. She used different products and warm towels to clean my face. When she cleaned my face with the warm towel, she would put pressure on different spots to give me a gentle massage. I really enjoyed this part especially when she put light pressure on my eyes over the warm towel, it felt really good. At one point she gave me a steam treatment and at another point she extracted some of my blackheads. She also massages my upper chest, my arms and my hands. I don't really remember the order because the atmosphere was so relaxing and I was so comfortable that I was in and out of sleep. I will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a facial that will meet your needs and satisfy your desire to have a relaxing time doing it! read more

Considering we had almost 9 months of safety quarantine due toCOVID-19, it would be professional to extend the validity of gift card, especially when it is more than $200 dollars. A spa sells products for the promotion of health and wellness, so being flexible with the pandemic situation would be appreciated. Other places did it. read more

I had the same bad experience that others have mentioned below, regarding an expired gift certificate that my mother in law purchased for my birthday last year. I used $60 of the gift certificate within the allotted time frame. When I went back to use the remaining balance, the owner informed me that it had expired by a few months and would under no circumstances, honor the balance. In my opinion this is REALLY poor customer service. You would think she would want me as a return customer...but obviously not. I will not EVER buy a certificate from SpaDreams again and will inform my family members as well. read more

Bought a gift card for my pregnant wife but she had the baby early and wasn't able to use it right away. Now its over a year and the OWNER of Spa Dreams will not let her use the gift card. My wife has been waiting for the right time to use this relaxing day and now she can't use it. I spent $150 cash with their business but they don't care to try and help. My first trip here was for a massage. Amazing! Staff is so professional, I always leave relaxed and refreshed. The location is clean, in a safe area, and so comfortable. Last year my husband got me a full day package... totally worth it. The staff made me feel like a queen for the day. I saw 5 different staff members while getting massage, facial, body treatment, etc. and every one of them were professional, polite, and left me feeling relaxed and refreshed. Now every year my preferred Mother's Day or Christmas gift is a gift certificate here. Such a great value! read more

My husband and I bought a package from living social. We went around 3pm after lunch got there on the dot snd we were set aside to wait in the waiting room with cold glasses of water. Joanne and Toni were to give us 1 hour massages. As excited as I was I was already like asking a lot of questions while filling out forms. They gave us fruits and cheese and other fun snacks. This is a new spa that is located in the same shopping center as The Daily Grind on Piedmont and Sandy Plains. It's simply fantastic! It's quiet and serene. The mani/pedi room has one chair, so you are by yourself and can truly relax. I've recieved both a facial and a massage there as well. The staff goes out of their way to pamper you and make you feel special, down to leaving chocolates on your spa robe and having a snack bar for you if you're there a while. Also, the prices are very reasonable for the level of service you recieve. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Hands down probably one of the best spa experiences i have had. I bought a living social deal for $69.00 and it was an hour massage, facial and foot scrub. Holy cow.... i was shocked i was able to make the appointment for a couple weeks out and they called me Saturday for a quick reminder and to make sure I knew where to go. I arrived about 15 min early and was warmly greeted. I was escorted to a quiet room where i could fill out the paperwork. then taken to change, She told me the massage was first, so when we went to the room the woman, Joanne I believe introduced herself and went over a couple things on my paperwork then went over the scent options with me. I picked a mango pineapple- smelled sooo good! The massage its self was super relaxing. I was started fac down, and it seemed like the place your face goes had a scented ring or something on it, I just kept taking deep relaxed breaths and inhaling the aromatic smell. She worked out a couple knots, and it was the first time i think ive ever come close to falling asleep in a massage. it was delightful. Then they took me to a sitting room with a glass of water and the lady who did the facials came and led me to the next room. We went over the normal skin questions and procedures, she was super sweet and asked if i wanted the extractions done or if i wanted more of relaxing day, i chose to go ahead and clean out the pores, and she let me know she did eyebrows as well ( that was the next stop on my list) she was very accurate and gentle, they use a sugar wax i believe she said? After showing me job well done!! she moved on to the extractions... not my fav part but she did a really good job. and then finished with the rest of facial. Again, i don't think Ive ever been so close to falling asleep, and being so relaxed through it all... I went and got dressed, then was given more water, tipped the ladies and went on with the day. It was amazing way to spend 2.5 hours of the day and i super hope they will put out specials or another groupon for this. they said to check the websites for monthly specials.... this spa was really nice!!!! i bought a special for a massage and facial. i was running late and stressed when i arrived.. and the owner at the front assured me "the massage therapist can go to the last minute so dont worry". the massage was wonderful and i was really comfortable. The table was warm and the pressure was perfect. And i am a spa aficionado. the facial was very relaxing. The staff was very warm and friendly. I've been here twice and each visit was amazing. I was given a Half Day Spa treatment as a gift. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I first saw Jennifer for massage and Ashley for facial. Both were very friendly, asked lots of questions of what I wanted in my visit. The massage was crazy good and the facial was just what I needed. The girl that did my facial recommended several products for me and answered all of my questions. They also gave me a bag of samples to take home with me. I could not get an appointment for a pedi and was forced to go somewhere else, otherwise I would have been here. I primarily come for pedi's but have done waxing and massage. All the staff are are friendly and provide great services. The spa is clean and serene. Their literature states the owners wanted to create nice spa with affordable prices--mission accomplished! My only complaint is that I wish they had 2 chairs for pedi's so it isn't so hard to get an appointment. Keep up the great work guys! read more

Shout out to Toni and Ashley at SpaDreams who made sure my visit today perfect! As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by the prettiest smile from Toni, and taken to the changing room. If you've never been, you'd love it. It's so beautifully decorated, and the staff is so warm and welcoming... After changing into my robe and slippers, I was greeted by Ashley and taken to the facial room. This was by far the best facial I've ever received. Ashley asked the right questions, and really made sure she understood my problem areas before proceeding. From the moment she began I could tell she knew what she was doing. After my time with her my face was truly transformed from dry and congested to fresh, clean and hydrated! From the cleansing process to the cool hydrating mask, hot scented towels, face, neck, decolletage, shoulders and upper back massage, it was amazing! My attempted visit to Spa Dreams turned into a nightmare. Upon arrival with our LivingSocial vouchers, my wife and I were advised that paying the gratuity in advance for our treatments was REQUIRED. I explained that we were not comfortable paying a gratuity in advance and would be happy to provide one after receiving satisfactory services. The receptionist insisted that their policy was to collect the tip in advance for LivingSocial vouchers. I have never been to a spa that required a gratuity in advance prior to the rendering of services. My wife and I chose to depart as we did not agree to pay the gratuity in advance. Unfortunately, Spa Dreams' short sighted practice resulted in the loss of our business. Others may want to consider this practice before purchasing a LivingSocial or Groupon for services from this establishment. read more

I was given a gift certificate for a Swedish massage, mani/pedi, and facial to Spa Dreams, and I had never been before. From the moment I emailed to book my appiintment, my experience was completely positive. Kristen worked with me to set my appointment time, helped me determine gratuity in advance so that I would be prepared, and was completely professional. For each of my services, the different providers were friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. My massage was so amazing I felt like jello. My mani/pedi was refreshing and for the first time ever for me, didn't hurt and was gentle around my nails. My facial was wonderful. She asked questions about my routine and helped me determine products to help my most recent skin issues. I was so fuzzy from my wonderful pampering that I had forgotten halfway through my services Id slipped my engagement ring off and into my robe pocket. When I realized it at checkout, Kristen and the sweet lady who completed my facial helped me retrace my steps and found the ring for me in my robe pocket--- even after I couldn't find it in my panic. Today was my first time visiting SpaDreams and I have to say it was one of the most luxurious spa experiences i've ever hard. I had 3 services done: Vichy Body Facial, 60 minute Swedish Massage, and a Mani/Pedi. I have to admit, seeing the Vichy shower was a bit intimidating, but once the scrub started, I was in a blissful heaven. My aesthetician Lauren was awesome and made it a real awesome experience for me. I then was taken for my body massage which was simply relaxing. I've done my share of spa visits to Spa Sydell, etc., but SpaDreams beats them by far in service, quality of service and overall experience. I discovered this Boutique Day Spa about five years ago when I was planning a girl's day out. Can you imagine accommodating 10 ladies for multiple spa treatments? Spa dreams did all the work including catering breakfast and lunch. I was so please with this experience that I have made Spa Dreams my go to spa experience. Had a gift certificate for a half day pampering. My facial and mani/pedi were off the charts wonderful. Ashley and Frenchie are AMAZING. Definitely going back for both. My appointment was supposed to be in the morning but it never was booked but they got me in by the afternoon. The massage was (sorry) the worst ever. She talked the whole time and used one hand. It was supposed to be deep tissue to help get out knots but I was never sore the day after... Thank goodness for Frenchie being right after because she helped me relax again and my nails looked awesome for at least 5 days!!!!! My new record. read more

Unfortunately, I had the worst massage I've ever had. It wasn't that it was bad - even a bad massage is good. It's that there was nothing good about it. My therapist, Jennifer, talked the entire time, which is not relaxing for me. I also felt like her touch was very tentative, even when I asked for more pressure, it wasn't much. The place is very nice and serene and I loved the chocolates, however I've experienced better facial treatments. I did not like their technique. The towels used to clean up after a mask and a peel were too hot... the combination of hot towels and the constant rubbing of the hands on my face was very unpleasant. Very nice little spa - clean, relaxing, and organized. I went in for my first facial, wasn't sure which one to go with but after speaking with someone when making my appointment, we decided on the Medibac facial. I was very surprised to hear that the esthetician wouldn't be doing any extractions. She said my skin was great, but later said I had congestion around the nose. The main reason I chose this facial was to get a deep clean with extractions. I did not have any big blemishes, but could have used it in a few small spots and a lot around the nose. I am kind of disappointed about this because I could have paid $60 for a regular facial without extractions but ended up paying $85 for a facial that was supposed to have "extensive extractions." Although I do not feel I get my money's worth, the facial was great and very relaxing. I recommend letting clients know what products you're using on their face, just so they know what the products are supposed to do - I feel it would add to the experience. And if the client is unsure of what facial to get, maybe examine them first before locking them into a certain facial. Thanks! read more
