I am a weightlifter, Rock Climber, yoga practitioner, and motorcyclist. I have a history of herniated disks in my neck and my lower back. Because I am so active and have these existing conditions, I need a massage therapist who can work with these issues and also do a lot of deep tissue massage to decrease tension from all my hard work outs. For my first visit to this massage studio, I had an active headache which had been with me for nine days. I have some kind of a pinch going on in the nerves of my neck which was making me cranky and causing low grade consistent pain. The first benefit is that this massage studio works with the chiropractor I am seeing at Advanced Pain and Spine center right next door. They collaborate on a holistic treatment. I had no idea that that I had independently booked appointments with medical professionals that were right next to each other! How convenient! Not only is Shae delightful, she executed an amazingly therapeutic massage. For the first time in nine days I don't have a miserable headache which was making me grumpy! She is easily able to find all the tension that pulls on my spine and nerves and released them.
