Called in to KS Nails on 10/4 at 1:08 pm and made an appointment for 5:30 for a pedicure and nail soak off and manicure, no polish. Got to the salon on time where the nail technician did not soak off my acrylic nails as requested, but used another fake nail to take my current nails off. Made it to the pedicure bowl, asked for the milk and honey pedicure but asked the woman who was doing my pedicure not to use the pedicure foot file, just the pumice stone. The lady who did my pedicure stopped paying attention, and completely took a CHUNK of skin, off of the side/top of my big toe, with the pumice stone. When I looked up as I realized my pedicure was starting to hurt, she was looking out the door/window! Not paying any attention to what she was doing! She said sorry and put my foot back in the water. My toe continued to burn, I told her and she put these green liquid drops on my toe (I believe she keeps handy for cuts) and proceeded. Then used an exfoliating scrub on my legs and feet, and kept going over the toe she JUST took a chunk of skin off of. I asked her to stop because she was hurting me even more! She wrapped my legs with the hot towels and LEFT in the middle of my pedicure with another person who works at the salon maybe at 6 pm? Nothing else said to me. The man who popped my acrylic nails off, painted my toes then sprayed rubbing alcohol all over my feet, which of course hurt, because of the lady who just took a chunk of skin off my toe. Also, he watched the whole thing happen because he continued to take off my nails during my pedicure. So he knew what was happening from me telling her that she hurt me and to stop etc. Finally my toes are painted and I am ready to go, where the man that painted my toes/took off my nails and myself are the only people in the salon, shortly after 6 pm. He then tells me my total is $90. A lot of things start running through my mind after the experience I had and the worst nail salon experience I have ever received in my life. But I paid it, because I planned on calling the next day to speak with the manager or owner about my experience, and how I do not think it was fair to be changed that amount after the terrible job they did. As I leave the salon, the man who did my nails left right after me, 6:15 at the latest. If the staff at this salon is such in a rush to leave that the lady who started my pedicure left in the middle of it, and he left 1 minute after me, why was my 5:30 appointment accepted? If the staff is that much in a rush to leave and are hurting people, KS Nails should not be accepting appointments after a certain time! I've been to this salon before the owners switched and after. Never have I experienced this before, and I know with the previous owners, this would have been resolved before payment was requested. I called the next day, Thursday 10/5 as I planned, and asked to speak to the manager/owner. The lady who answered the phone is who I spoke with the day before who I made my appointment with, she knew who I was because she remembered the time my appointment was and the services I requested and I told her about my experience the day before. She told me the owners would call me back. The owners did not call me back so I called again the next day, Friday 10/6, and was then told that the owners were on vacation and would call me back on Saturday. I never received a call to make resolution on this. Which brings my review, Monday 10/9. I have added pictures of my toe, which is completely unacceptable and neglectful by KS Nails, and considering the placement. Why was she even using the pumice stone in this part of my foot? Because she was bot paying attention! The service I received, and the aftermath of ME, a paying customer, trying to find resolution for something I did nothing to cause. I wanted to come to a price agreement with the owners and be refunded for part of the services I asked for, instead of disputing this charge with my credit card company so they take 100% of the charge back. But, I have called in 2 times now for this and have been pushed to the side, and I am tired of it and wish I would have argued with the man who told me my total was $90, even though I am not that kind of person at all, that's why I paid that RIDICULOUS amount in the first place. I believe the salon should be making this right, not me, I have tried. My credit card company approved my dispute today, which was the last resort for me because I understand this is a small business and did not want to just take my money back, I wanted to come to a resolution where the salon and myself were both happy. I have to put bandaids on my toe when wearing shoes now, going to the gym, walking my dog and just running errands which are all regular activities. As you can see in one of the pictures I added, even wearing my Birkenstocks is now uncomfortable because of the placement she took the skin off of. It rubs and starts bleeding again. read more

If you're looking for a mediocre salon with 1 star service, this is your place! Natural nail care is replaced with over-drilling, sloppy polish and rushed services just so the next person can get in the chair and receive the same mediocre service as the previous person. The cleanliness is also questionable so I think it's safe to say I won't be returning here! read more

You'll notice that the entire staff is also masked up and protective barriers between each station are in clear view. They even have giant shields on the massage chairs for pedis! Every time I go, Stacy always takes care of me. From the SNS on my fingers to the gel on my toes. I had bumps and they looked more square than anything! Toni made my nails the shape I wanted! Sam, bless him! KS Nails is my go-to pedicure place. I rarely get my nails done but they do a great job on those as well! I alway get one of their deluxe pedicures and it's worth it every time. I typically go to ks nails to I have my nails done and I've only been there for 3 times the 1st time was OK they made me feel welcome etc. the second time the staff had a whole different attitude when I asked them to do my nails a certain way then I broke a nail the same day that my nails were done I go back the following day to have it corrected they tried to charge me then II wanted to go ahead and put color on my nails they told me that they could not do that They said it don't look right who are they to tell me how I want my nails they and when they get mad they talk in their language where you can't understand them and I think that's very very unprofessional and rude ..They take your money and treat you like shit I'm sorry but not sorry but I will never go there again and if you do you're a fool.... read more

This place is great if you find someone there you like and does a good job. Stacey does a fantastic job. Funny, gives good advice, did a great job. I will only request her from now on. The professionalism needs a boost here. The owner walks around bare footed, that was kinda gross. He is also kind of loud and comes off as rude. Some of the people working there were lounging in the pedicure chairs with their feet on the seat. I also found it odd how casual they all dress, I feel like at nail salons everyone tries to look more dressed up. One of the most annoying things is the unrealistic wait times. Once I waited so long I ended up walking out. If I cant get Stacey to do my nails I will probably go elsewhere. read more

I have been avoiding the nail shop because of COVID, but I just really needed some pampering. I decide to try a new shop and decided to go with KS Nails . It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had but I definitely won't be back. They over charge for basic services. My nails are really pretty . I got SNS on my nails that I keep short. I also got a Classic pedicure, it's pretty but one of my toes hurts and the skin is broken. Also, if you get the Classic pedicure, do not and I repeat do not expect anything more than the most basic. I've been other places, and gotten a much better Classic pedicure. I had to tell the woman that did my nails to put on gloves. Once I asked her to put on gloves, there seemed to be a whole conversation that I wasn't invited to, because everyone started speaking in a language I don't speak. It felt very unprofessional. I had been told by coworkers that most nail shops were going above and beyond with safety precautions because of COVID. I just didn't feel that way once I entered KS. I left a tip because, I was provided a service and the finished product is pretty. However, I just don't feel comfortable going back to KS Nails. read more

I went to KS Nails and got their herbal pedicure. Being a new mom, I had my newborn sleeping in a chest carrier during the service. The pedicure would have been great, had it involved massage. At one point, the tech applied lotion, for less than 60 seconds on each leg, but there was no massage. As I checked out, I asked the manager which services include massage, so I would know what to get next time. I was informed that the herbal includes massage. I told the mng that mine did not. He asked the tech, and the man claimed he had massaged during two different times during my pedicure! I said that was not the case, and was told I must have been too busy paying attention to the baby to notice the extensive massage I had received. I pointed out that being dishonest was no way to keep repeat customers, and was told they didn't particularly care to change anything to keep customers. I will never go there again. read more

I have been going to the new KS Nails since August 2015 after inquiring about a friend's beautiful nails. My first reaction was negative when I heard it was KS Nails because after living, literally, directly across the street from this place for years, I have seen it change hands at least three times, and the service never improved; but my friends nails were gorgeous and I had been looking for a good tech. When I arrived, as a walk in, I noticed that the place had been completely renovated and it was very clean and spa-like. Betsy greeted me and after a short wait, she examined my nails and told me things no other nail tech had ever told me before. I have flat nails and I needed to get away from the tips that would always lift causing fungal damage to the nail bed. She said acrylic wasn't the way to go and recommended solar nails w/o tips. I have to say, that was the first time anyone has ever taken the time to examine my nails with care and offer the best option. It wasn't price motivated either because she said if my nails were done properly at the right length, I wouldn't need to come in for repairs so often and might be able to extend to three weeks, the next fill. Everything she said was right on the money. My nails look great, and after trial and error we found a shape and length that works perfectly, and for the first time in a long time, I am getting tons of comments about how great they look. Betsy, as the owner, also has a co-partner that just started a month or so ago, and he is also a very, very good nail tech. It's very rare that you would find one good nail tech in this area (trust me, after 13 years, I've been looking), but now I have two people to choose from! I've had about 3 pedicures since I've been going, and my feet always look and feel great. Betsy has done eyebrow waxing on me and I've been real pleased with the shape and the length of time it takes in between waxing seems extended. I'm sure if that's indicative of the good products used, or the special care given to ensure a close wax...don't question it - it works for me! To sum it all up, this place has changed hands, finally, for the BETTER. You wont find greater value coupled with quality work anywhere else in this area!!! Trust me!! read more

I've been going to this salon for more than 2yrs - I have been to my share of random nail salons in the Marietta/Acworth/Kennesaw/Dallas area and they are all sub-par compared to KS Nails. Joe & his wife and the rest of the staff are super sweet and are always willing to accommodate, appointment or not. They have the biggest selection of colors & and can pretty much do any design you throw at them. They do 3D art, glow in the dark, ombre, tigers eye, everything!!! I'm not normally one to complain, but I went in this afternoon with a very specific picture of what I wanted for my baby shower.. Not only are my nails a completely different color than what I asked for, but after coming here multiple multiple times they charged me way more than any other time and more than what I was expecting. As for the nails, the picture speaks for itself. I went in for a simple man/pedi and wasn't impressed with even the basics. I'll start with the pedicure. Whenever I first try out a new place, I always go for the basic/classic pedicure (unless they have hot stone as an option ), today I went with the $20 classic. The pedicure was extremely simple, about 5 minutes soaking in the water, a removal of the old polish, a quick file, lotion, and polish (about 15-20 min max!) As far as the basic manicure goes, I can't say much about the technique as it was pretty basic, but as far as the polish application goes, my tech "gopped" on the polish which was so thick that after 20 minutes it still wasn't dry. The pic attached is when she "fixed" my nail after touching it after not drying - she tried to send me on my way with this nail. Totally unacceptable. I will not be going back. I highly recommend Enchanted off of Barrett Parkway, they never disappoint and it's the best service I've ever received! read more

I've been here twice the first time was Cinco de Mayo weekend and I honestly believe the workers were drunk. The owner was walking around bare footed and they were loud and talking about drinking Coronas and how they couldn't wait to get off to celebrate. Very unprofessional. I gave them a second chance on yesterday but that was my last time going. I went to this location on yesterday and REQUESTED a pink only fill-in for my solar pink and white nails and a pedicure. As I was getting my pedicure the owners wife came over and stated that she was going to go ahead and get started on me while I was getting my pedicure. She started to drill down my nails and stated she would finish when my pedicure was over. Once I had a sit in her chair I notice that she drill my nails all the way down and I was focus to get both my pink and white filled in because the white was no longer on my nails. When I said something to her about it she stated that it was too much gap in between my nails and that I would have a line on my nails. "Which having the line was ok with me but she should have ask me before she did the opposite of what I requested" So she end up having to fill in both the pink and white. I knew what I had originally ask for but since she drilled them all the way down I didn't have a choice but to get them both filled in. When it came time to pay. She tried to make me pay $30 (pink/white fill-in) instead of $22 (pink only fill-in) for my fill-in. I told her I didn't ask to get them both done so I shouldn't have to pay for that service. She left me no choice but to get them both filled in so she should honor her mistake or ask if it was ok before she drilled them down the way she did. That's when he owner her husband start yelling at me stating "We will do it this time but don't come back" I told him its just like a customer coming in and ask for a regular manicure with regular polish and you give a regular manicure with gel polish and expect for them to pay the difference for it. I was very unhappy with the service and how the owner handle the situation. I will not be returning due to the way I was treated and how the manager yelled at me and wouldn't let me explain why as a customer this wasn't what I ask for but had no choice to get once the error was made. read more

This place is a hit or a miss. Owners are nice however after this experience I doubt I will be back. There use to be a nail tech that I loved. He recently got sick and left, which is understandable. I decided to give another nail tech a try and let me tell you it was a disaster. She played loud music the whole time while doing my nails and never asked if the length or anything was good. I instructed her to watch out while filing with the drill as two of my nails were lifting up. So she took all the old solar color off (never asked for that, and which means she can charge me more). Then she left my hands under the UV light for 8 minutes. 8 MINUTES! I pulled my hands out and she yelled at me. I told her my hands were burning. Then she messes up my right ring finger and says it was my fault and refused to fix it. Lastly, this is the best part y'all, she charged me and extra five dollars to repair 2 nails when she never even repaired them and the last color (that she replaced) was lifting because of what they did to me last time! I normally don't leave a negative review but others need to be VERY cautious about visiting this place. I have been getting pedicures for over 15 years & have always had the callous remover used as I stand in heels all day. I noticed when the man put the chemical on my feet that he rubbed it around but didn't realize he had gotten it in between my toes until after he dried my feet off. My toes were burning & I've never had that happen before so I knew exactly what was wrong. I told him that my skin was burning & we needed to rinse them off again. He honestly had no clue what I was saying so I repeated myself & he then took out the foot brush. Not sure what he thought I said. I had to use hand motions to let him know I was being burned & needed water....water. 2 days later I have chemical burns in between my toes & may need to go get burn cream from the Dr. It took him an hour & a half to do my pedicure & he seemed to struggle through it. I'm not sure how long he has been a nail tech. It was odd. It you go, please, for your safety, skip the callous remover. I'll never have anyone use it again . K S Nails is under new management and from I've seen during my visits with my girlfriend, everyone leaves happy! Most of the bad reviews are from a year ago and the management changed recently. Absolutely the worst nail experience I have EVER had! The lady who did my nails sanded them way too thin then put nail tips on and cut them way too short and angled. I told the lady they weren't right and she said she'll fix them with acrylic. She packed acrylic under my nails to extend them which was the incorrect way to do it. As the acrylic was setting under my nails it burned me. The lady said she'll fix them. Her idea of fixing them was sanding under them, while doing it she burned me more time than I could keep track of with the nail sander. She would move on to my other hand but the first hand wasn't right so I told her again it was wrong and looked really bad. She kept sanding and making them worse until I finally talked to the manager. He wanted to take them off and do a fresh set but after being there for two hours at that point I said I just want to be done, plus if he took off the nails my real nails were way too thin because of the first lady so it would be more pain on top of what I had just been experiencing for two hours. They refused to give any sort of discount. I was so upset leaving I was in tears. They have the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with! I will never go back and I am calling the better business Bureau of ga over this horrible experience. read more
