From the booking process, reconfirmation process to pick and drop off, this company is A+. I love the pickup and drop off. We had an accommodation to drop off in KoOlina resort which is about 30 minutes away and then pick up in Waikiki, with no problem. The scooter was in what appeared to be brand new condition. We did have an issue with a bad battery or charger and realized it our second day in. UGOMOBILITY met us at our tourist destination 45 minutes away and changed out the battery out on a Sunday and within an hour of me reaching them. Thank you Matthew!! Plus, we needed to add on a day last minute and was done easily with an email. The scooter did exactly what we needed and more. With trips to Pearl Harbor, USS Missouri, Dole Plantation, PCC, Wamiea Valley, beach strolls, Diamond Head base and the true test of the Makapu'u, climbing the lighthouse trail, all done with ease.. I worked most with Chloe and she was the best!! Ugo mobility is the best fit for everyone!! I was given the opportunity of a lifetime, a trip to Hawaii. Ugo mobility made that trip a reatily. Without their scooter rental I would have had to pass on the trip. Patti and Hugh were very helpful, accomidating, understanding and knowledgeable about their products. I had to make some last minute changes and they took care of it no problem. The scooter I rented came apart into 5 pieces and fit easily into the back of the van. It was a perfect fit for me. Battery literally probably never needed recharging, but yes Hugh I plugged it in every night per your instructions. :) Patti emailed me a list of locations accessible with the scooter which made planning my trip possible. My mom recently had knee surgery before we went on vacation. She would not have been able to participate in many of the activities we did. Hugh is an incredible person. We own our own Pride mobility scooter and had troubles with it while we were in Hawaii. He came over and looked at it for us and took the back axle to fix it. He also offered us a rental scooter at no charge. I won't go into all of the details of our problem with the scooter but he made it possible for us to get our scooter back home for a manufactured defect repair. Had an extraordinarily good experience with U-Go. In particular I have to thank Hugh for going way beyond customer service. My daughter dislocated her knee on Saturday night. We were looking for a chair late Sunday and Hugh the owner stayed late, talked me through options other than U-Go, made suggestions for wheelchair accessible activities, gave me his cell phone number, and made sure we had a chair first thing Monday morning. The staff at U-Go-Mobility went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Hugh and Patti were amazingly helpful in all aspects from ordering to drop off a d to pick up afterwards. Patti was the first person I talked to and was super helpful over the phone. My mom's flight was delayed and they changed the drop off date and location to accommodate me. Hugh deliver what I though was going to be a wheelchair but upgraded me to a scooter the broke down into 5 smaller pieces and could easily fit into my trunk of my small Mazda 3. All of this at not additional charge. He even showed me how to break it down and reassemble it before he left. I talked to Hugh about 2 weeks prior to traveling to Oahu. They were very professional, friendly and compassionate. To best fit your scooter to your needs they asked questions like; how tall, weight, where will you be using. They then recommend a scooter that would work best for you. Hugh delivered my scooter directly K Olina Marriott where we were staying. They will deliver it when and where you want. I kept the scooter for 2 weeks? And it allowed me to site see locations I would have gone to. While on Oahu we visited the Arizona Memorial, the Bowfin, The Missouri, Air museum, North Shore, Shrimp Trucks, Dole Plantation, Bishop Museum and the Polynesian Culture Center. All these were done because I rented this Go-Go Mobility scooter from U-Go Mobility. Hugh teaches you how to breakdown the scooter and put it back together. It is very easy to do and worked well with the Van we rented. The 2nd week we took it on the Pride of America. And we're able to get around really well. The ship will take your scooter at night and charge then return it back to you in morning. The only port you can't get off with the scooter is Kona bc you use a tender. When we landed Max was there to pickup the scooter. The quality of the scooter is amazing. U-Go mobility actually donates their scooters after 6 months to groups like the Vets. This company is reputable, compassionate, professional, and very fair in price. Thank you for making our vacation even more spectacular. read more

I can't say enough good things about UGoMobility. Customer service extraordinaire. They gave us the means to get out there and have a blast!! Hugh gave us personalized help with my mobility needs, accessible trip ideas all accessed with The Bus, and extremely knowledgable mechanical help with my power w/c repairs...he worked on my w/c for 3 hours in our hotel room and he wouldn't take any payment for it. It was not about money. I still can't believe it. Hugh told us about the beach wheelchairs at Waikiki Beach. The Moby-Chair is free to borrow. It has 3 soft tires and a lawnchair like body that floats. Amazing! Do it! We saw 3 turtles right underneath us. Find it at KOA Beach Service right beside Fort Derussy Military Beach Park and Hale KOA Hotel. Another type is free at The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel. Hanama Bay also has 3-4 complimentary Wheel-Eeze chairs. We were in the ocean 6 times because of this tip! it made my holiday It's about getting the right wheels and tools to get out there and have a great time. Prior to going to Hawai'i, I had spent a little time looking for wheelchair or scooter rentals at or near Pearl Harbor, as one of the key reasons for taking this trip with my family was to bring my Mom, who is in her 80s and has some mobility challenges when trying to cover much distance, and Dad (who served in Korea) with us to see Oahu in general, and Pearl Harbor in particular - unfortunately, I didn't run across U-Go, or any other option that looked viable, in that search. Fortunately, late the evening before our trip to Pearl Harbor (with a very early start the next morning), I did one more web search and came upon U-Go. Without holding out much hope given the short turnaround time, I posted a note about our needs on the U-Go Mobility website and thought nothing more about it until, as we stood in line at Pearl Harbor before 7am the next morning, Patti got in touch with me, recommended a certain scooter at a very affordable price and, UNBELIEVABLY, said she'd deliver it to us there at Pearl Harbor's entrance within a few minutes, which is exactly what she did! This was customer service as I had/have never enjoyed it before. As we needed to rush to make our scheduled first show at Pearl Harbor, Patti sent us off with an awesome scooter for my Mom (after first showing us how to quickly assemble and disassemble it and operate it), which allowed her to see ALL of the amazing sights and exhibits that Pearl Harbor has to offer. Patti returned to Pearl Harbor at the end of the day to meet us, where/when we agreed to hold onto and rent this essentially new & great scooter at what seemed like an incredibly fair daily rate for the rest of our ~2 weeks on Oahu. Over those 2 weeks, the scooter allowed my Mom to do & see so much more than would have ever been possible without it --- such as "hiking" the trail back to see Waimei Falls, touring the full grounds of the Polynesian Cultural center, and just cruising around a beach park on the northeast coast --- that it truly changed the Hawai'in experience for all of us. To top it all off, Hugh met us at the National Car rental office at the airport just prior to our departure to pick the scooter up (and, in fact, adjusted his schedule to come earlier when we arrived at the airport sooner than expected). I firmly believe that God undoubtedly Blessed us when he caused me to find U-Go in my last-minute search that night before we toured Pearl Harbor. Patti & Hugh - please keep doing what you're doing....you're absolutely getting it right and making such a positive difference in the lives & Hawai'in experience of everyone you touch. My Mom, fell last week and hurt her back, (compression fracture) She is 82 years old and has Osteoperosis. I was in desperate need of a wheelchair because she had a doctors appointment on Monday. I found them on Yelp and they had very good reviews, so I gave them a call on Saturday(2 days before her appointment) One of the owners named Hugh actually delivered a wheelchair to my house on Sunday(Mothers Day). We rented the scooter for my 80 year old mother so she could have some independence during our stay at Aulani. This is an awesome company to deal with, recommended to all!! Although we did not rent a scooter from them, we called to see if they do repairs on scooters. Our problem was we couldn't find anyone in town to repair my dad's scooter on such short notice after the airlines dropped it into 3 pieces while loading or unloading it from the plane. We were desperate, as this scooter is my dad's legs, and he uses it everyday. Hugh came on a Sunday to take care of it and got it running, he took the time to take it apart and repair what was broken and make sure everything was okay, aside from a part he needed to get the rear lights working again. He didn't accept any money. After contacting him again for an invoice and to thank him for making my dad so, so happy, he explained that he understands that he too had parents and in laws that needed the mobility to stay independent and how important that was, and we would do that best he can to help in situations like this. When my partner and I decided to go to Hawaii for a friend's wedding my biggest concern was how I would get around since I know I couldn't walk that much due to my MS. Fortunately Patti and Hugh at UGO Mobility solved that issue for me. They met me at the hotel with the scooter and showed me how to drive it, how to take it apart for bus rides or van tours, how to put it back it back together and answered all my questions. When I had an issue at Pearl Harbor because we hadn't put the battery on correctly Huge and Patti were there within 10 minutes to fix the problem. This scooter was a life saver for me. It gave me the freedom to go anywhere I wanted and I was shocked at how inexpensive the rental was. I absolutely loved riding it as it actually had some speed.
