UGo mobility was a lifesaver for me. When we got to Hawaii, I called after they closed and left a message. They got back to me in less than two hours and set me up with a scooter. It was delivered to my hotel in the morning and they picked it up when we left. The only downside is the basket is really small. So, I suggest a backpack and/or a zippered bag to carry your items if you plan on doing some shopping. Also, when you order the scooter, you may want to add 50 lbs to your weight to account for anything you buy and load into the scooter; otherwise, you may find yourself losing much needed power, especially going uphill. This little number cost me $280 for the week. Note: be sure to check if your tours/excursion transportation can accommodate a mobile scooter beforehand. Only one of the three we went on did.

Sean & Chris kindly going over assembling the scooter. VIP 5 star service all the way!! Thank you!!!!

Ordered a wheelchair for my mom. It was delivered within 4 hours, right to our hotel lobby. Great customer service as well. Good value.

Thank you Hugh and Patti! My 88-year young mom is trying it out and can't wait to let you know how it goes. Aloha

Can you give me a round about figure for each day to rent the scotter for 5 days?

I believe I paid less than $200 for 4 days.

They kept shifting out of gear when you didn't want them to (climbing) and not shifting when you needed them to. I said something to the staff when we returned and they just made an excuse about being impossible to stay on top of maintenance when people "abuse" the bikes. My bike even had a seat post that wouldn't lock in - so about 5 miles away from the shop and it had slid down all the was to the frame - I was climbing hills in a bike that wouldn't downshift and a seat about 5 inches too low. The shop knew the post bracket had one stripped nut when they were adjusting it for me, and tightened the other one mightily - but it wasn't sufficient. We got by and made it back safely after putting about 15 miles on them - including a miserable climb to diamond head trailhead. I'm sure these guys have a great business with things like scooters and other more popular items, so I'll avoid giving one star - but they should not send people out on the crap bikes they have. I implore them - just don't advertise renting regular bikes if you can't maintain them at a bare minimum usable level - take them off the menu.

Tristen was fantastic, she was super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. As someone newer to mopeds, I really appreciated that they offer a free lesson for beginners, and the option for a test drive if you want a little extra confidence. That balance of fun and safety really stood out. The entire staff was wonderful, Corey and everyone else were pleasant, helpful, and made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable. No pressure at all, just good vibes. It was also great to learn that they can service the moped in the future, which gives peace of mind beyond the initial purchase. If you're looking for a moped shop in Hawaii with great people, solid support, and true island energy, this place is a gem. Highly recommend. Mahalo!

Earlier this year, I purchased a first-release new model, and as expected with such a rare situation, a minor complication came up. The way the team handled everything was truly outstanding. They showed genuine aloha spirit throughout the entire process -- even making sure I had a rental option available while the minor fix was being taken care of. They were patient, supportive, and fully committed to making sure I was taken care of. Danny leads with honesty, Trinity was professional and kind, and the mechanics clearly take great pride in their work. I highly recommend Apex Motors to anyone looking for a team that stands behind their customers and treats them like ohana. Mahalo to all of you! And if I showed a little mainland attitude at any point, I sincerely apologize -- I absolutely love my moped!
