Which we'd found Harold much sooner. Answers the phone on the first ring , a single point of contact from start to finish , what a pro. So accommodating - can't wait to rent from Harold on our next trip . Avoid the company that starts with Gam... read more

Harold was great! Met us at our hotel to drop off the scooter and explained how to operate it! I love the fact that you can actually talk to him via the phone before renting for ease of asking questions! The rates are very reasonable and it was a life saver for me since I need to use a walker! I was able to be very independent for the time we were in Honolulu! We would definitely use his scooters again when we return! read more

The scooter was in excellent condition, I rented it for 3 days but not plugged in to charge, the battery was still available for running. The delivery man was nice, but he little bit late that made my schedule behind. Overall, it ok. read more

Harold was awesome. He brought the scooter over to our hotel. He showed my 84-year-old mother how to use it in a few minutes. He came back and picked it up at the end of our trip. We bumped into him over by the Royal Hawaiian while he was scooting around delivering another scooter. When you book it, it seems a little sketchy because he just takes your information and says OK. I'll see you then. He doesn't take a deposit. So you're not even sure he's really gonna show up. But he does. read more

Kalin, was very helpful and fast pace. Literally took 3mins top and we on our way to the very island at PCC!!

Harold was super responsive... we arrived in the area to attend an event and realized we left my scooter battery at home... aye nako... as my mom would say every time I forgot something (which was a regular occurrence growing up, LOL). I did a quick Yelp search for a local scooter rental company. We only needed it for a few hours but there is a 2 day minimum. That was fine... our bad for forgetting! We didn't skip a bit, even with this snafu, thanks to Harold at Aloha Mobility! He delivers to the area but that wasn't necessary for us. No store front but sooo easy to get a hold of him. Completed transaction in less than a few minutes and were off to our event! Yelp and Aloha Mobility for the win!! read more

Availed of their service for my brother who is disabled. The transaction was easy and they arrived at the hotel on time.

Very helpful if you have mobility issues. I was able to enjoy my vacation. Great service and prices.

I am in absolute shock of the conversation I just had with the person who picked up the phone when I called 808-372-2251. Hereʻs a brief summary of the conversation. Me: Aloha, I am calling for scooter rentals for an event for Native Hawaiian kūpuna (our elderly). Iʻm wondering if you have kamaʻāina or group rates, event discounts or event sponsorship? Him: No to the last (sponsorship). We treat everyone the same. But "that group of people" are probably too heavy for my scooters, you may want to call Triple A. Me: What is the maximum weight for your scooters? Him: 300 pounds. Me: Iʻm sorry, Iʻm not sure I said anything about their weight though. Him: Yeah, well normally "that group of people" gain the weight when they get older. Me: Have a great day. This business should not be called "ALOHA Mobility Scooter." The way he referred to "that group of people" is not treating everyone the same. How dare you use a Hawaiian word and then profile and stereotype the elders who actually make the aloha come alive. P.S. I was not calling for a freebie or handout. I was doing a service for our community while possibly giving you more business in one week than you do in a month. read more

In Honolulu I rate Harrold 5 Stars. I love how he delivers in Honolulu to your door. I understand on the other side of the island he has a fee because of the long drive. If you want to know why we love him, look at my last review. This guy is an awesome person and a caring businessman. We have had nothing but great things to say about him. Time after time he surpasses our expectations. His product is "the bomb"'. These rides are never old, they are fast and have long life on the battery if you recharge correctly. Again, we stand with him for his kindness, sensitivity, knowledge, and willingness to help. He has made my visits soooo memorable. And his style of telling you how to break them down for travel is great. Easy-peasy. Good to see you again. You will be our regular go-to again in the future. read more

Business with them are best as they reply to you fast. Always happy to hear from them! I had a new scooter received by them, bc of issues on a last flight where my old rollator was bad! So they gave me a rented one until I could get a new one! Thank you so much! Very happy and great service! I'd recommend to anybody to go with this company! read more

Unfortunately broke my ankle in Hawaii and didn't want to limp around in crutches for the rest of my trip. Luckily my bf was able to find Aloha Mobility Scooter who was SUPER responsive, professional, and fast. He delivered the wheelchair to my hotel within 30 mins. Harold and his company are amazing! My mom had her back go out just a few weeks before our trip to Hawaii. She could still walk a little, but her mobility was very limited. Harold answered all of her questions through what seemed like many phone calls while she was on pain meds, and he was very patient and friendly with her. He brought the scooter to our hotel and really emphasized the need for safety, which was just what my mom needed to hear. He also talked directly with the owner of the tour company we used to see if we could bring the mobility scooter. When he found out we couldn't, he hooked us up with a lightweight wheelchair for a very small fee that helped us out for the day. He delivered that right to our hotel, too. My mom and I had a good chuckle about the "rent me for $150 a week" sign on the front of the scooter. As long as folks knew it was for the scooter and not my mom... :) Waikiki is pretty scooter friendly, too. She was able to ride right only the city bus and the driver strapped her down. We took the scooter to the beach near our hotel and parked it sort of near the showers and had no trouble. There are a few bumpy patches of sidewalk here and there, and it gets a little crazy during busy times....but the most important thing is that renting the mobility scooter and wheelchair allowed my mom to access the island instead of cancelling or postponing our trip. Thanks, Harold!! read more

Well how it began. My senior father admitted he was having problems walking and could not go further at this point so he was sad and realized this trip will not a he thought. Sitting alone while we toured the Island. For get that I got on yelp the second person I called and with a warp voice I can help . I asked how much? That it for a week?Perfect! He told be in lobby at 6 . This a very wonderful and understandable man. He show up on a mobility scooter with a wheelchair. Couple of signatures and some dinner recommendations and we are off. Dad gets to go and we are all one happy family. Thanks guy we would have never gone on the submarine with out you. ALOHA! read more

We rented this scooter when We were in Hawaii. My son was able to pick it up for us. We had a few longer treks planned for us and the scooter saved the days. We were both able to go up the road to the lighthouse because we took turns riding it. I had knee replacement in Nov so was getting around fairly well, but he was having some pain in his leg and hip. Taking turns was just the trick to both of us seeing the lighthouse together. The overlook there was spectacular! Makapu'U point Lighthouse did not disappoint. And our scooter was a great ride to get there! read more

I called and the person who answered was very rude. I asked if they have any electric mobility scooters available for rent and he asked my location. I said Honolulu. He then began asking me where and I told him I'm home and he wanted my address. I asked if he can tell me if he have any electric scooter available for rent before he start asking me my home address and he told me to get somebody else. Rude and creepy. My question required a simple yes or no. I give my home address if I'm doing business with someone and have their property, no business was established so why would you ask my address and refuse to answer my simple question. I'll never recommend, it's creepy and I'm the customer you want money from. If you don't have what I'm looking for just say that so we can end the conversation. And I didn't ask for delivery either so getting my address ahead of time when you didn't even ask my name is stupid. read more

This rental service was a life saver! My mother-in-law came to Oahu with her walker. It turned out that even a small amount of walking gave her pain. I contacted Harold, the owner, about renting a wheelchair and in about 1.5 hours he was at our hotel with a brand new wheelchair. He was very kind and punctual for both the drop off and pick up of the rental. I would highly recommend his service and definitely would use him again if ever needed. read more

If I could give this 0 stars... Absolutely HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have never encountered such rude service! I called to book a rental and he was so rude, rushed me off the phone, took my cc info, and told me to call when I get there. I asked if I was able to schedule a drop off and that's when he yelled..."NO" you have to be there. I said ok, is there a time frame from the time I call to anticipate the drop off, he responded..."No, I don't know what's going on that day, you have to call!" Long story short, I ended up calling him back and cancelling. When I called back he answered "yah". I told him I'd like to cancel and he said bye b****. I recently had the pleasure of using AlohaMobility Scooters for a scooter rental in Oahu. From my first contact to my last, Mark was amazing. He was upfront with his pricing and met every metric he said he would. His scooters are top-notch, which flow along with his impeccable service. Also, given that taking my own scooter risks it being damaged, the fee he charged was well worth it. I cannot speak highly enough of Mark and his company. Outstanding job! read more

Harold was great to do business with! Friendly and down to earth, he made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. The scooter was in great shape and easy for my father-in-law to use.
