Kevin and the staff really helped me out after I received a new chair from another company on island that wasn't up to par. He took the time to talk story with me and fix/adjust some parts of the chair that weren't right - free of charge. Kevin is very knowledgeable and direct when it comes to being a vendor in this field. Can't recommend this location at the current time. Call before you go and ask if they have the specific item your doctor ordered. On the first visit the person recommended a different item than my prescription stated because they didn't stock the prescribed item. When I saw a doctor later that day he confirmed that it was the wrong size and wrong product, so I returned it the next day. The second person was very pleasant and the return was easy. I should have called first to be sure they had the right product in stock and saved myself two trips to downtown Honolulu. read more

My wife was in the hospital and the hospital told her that they would give her a wheelchair and Medicare would pay for it. We then learned to find out cade medical was charging us rent and there's no way to bring the wheelchair back. They're charging $1100 for the wheelchair when you can buy the same wheelchair for $400 at Walmart the place is a rip off in a scam. read more

I recently had an experience with Cade Medical in Honolulu regarding my grandson's Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor. Initially, I encountered some difficulties with communication from an offshore representative who was hard to understand. However, once I reached out directly to Cade, Shawnee was incredibly helpful and attentive, understanding the urgency of our need. She went above and beyond to ensure that we got the monitor on time. When there was an inventory issue, Dylan personally delivered the device to us by Friday afternoon (the same day), which was a huge relief. Life happens and I needed a new ACL. My ortho suggested NICE treatment and I was all for it, having heard about it from friends and relatives who used it in the past. Cade made several calls to me helping set up and confirm. My surgery was at Hale Pawaa, (MIS Hawaii) and it couldn't have been more convenient that Cade is on the 6th floor right next door. I just stopped by a few minutes before my surgery appointment to pick up the gear. Staff was very professional! Drop off was easy too. BTW the NICE machine was awesome, especially during the first 3-4 days after surgery. Hard to imagine constantly fetching myself (or making my family get) ice all day and night, risking a wet mess every time. read more

Exception Customer Service for the past 2+ years we've been working with Cade Medical. Specifically, we worked with a few customer service/patient care coordinators and they're all very caring and diligent. Referred for medical supplies and compression wraps to care for lower leg care for my Aunt from Queen's Wound Center and Cade Medical always delivers items expediently. Back in April 2025 when we accidentally ordered the wrong product (our error!), we worked directly with Crizel, a patient care coordinator located in California and had worked with her previously on a few occasions. Her personalized customer service is top notch. She is keen at listening to what our concerns are, offers appropriate choices and might be available, and is impeccable with communicating through mail and email, phone and text messaging to alert us and apprise us of what is needed. the timing of shipments being sent and to confirm that items are delivered. We have been highly satisfied with the detailed care taken to ensure our needs are met. Because we did not use the prescribed compression wrap product, Crizel was able to expedite and process the return and had the correct product ordered and delivered. Although many of our call encounters were with a 2-3 hour time difference, Crizel made herself available even when it was likely 'pau hana' (when one is near clocking off their shift. She unselfishly took the time to always listen and ensure that we were satisfied with the products we received and that we received them in satisfactory condition and likely spent extra time to double check on the status of our returns, etc. during her meal break, etc. Exceptional service! Cade Medical is very lucky to have Crizel and other dedicated and resourceful employees like her to help patients' families like us who are all learning how to best navigate the challenges of helping to keep our kupuna as well as they can be so that they can live as independently as they can in their own homes. We did have to go to drop off an item at the Hale Pawaa office. Best to call ahead to make sure someone is available to accept the drop off. Parking for the building during peak hours may be hard to come by and patience and can be very busy with cars coming up and down a little fast. Drive cautiously and luck will prevail to find a parking stall. A very minor inconvenience that would rarely happen as they ship everything very timely and swiftly where this was probably the only time over the 2.5 years we've dealt with them that they needed the product back in order to mail out the correct one. It was our option to get the product sooner otherwise they would've allowed us to mail it in. You really would not be disappointed by working with CADE Medical! read more

Waste of time and energy. And...they want me to pay for something I never needed? Maybe they should have double checked with the Physician who ordered the equipment...they may have avoided giving me the wrong stuff. Of course, after taking possesion (Who am I? Just a dumb patient following doctor orders), they "could not take the (unused) equipment back", so I was stuck with it-only to get a bill over 2 months later. I have been in touch with Cade Medical MULTIPLE times bc they have CONTINUOUSLY filed my insurance claim using incorrect modifiers. The insurance company has also informed them of this multiple times. They continue to send me bills even after all this. My insurance company has informed me to not pay bc they should be able to refile the claim using correct modifiers. It's been since March & 2 surgeries later. They still can't get it done. Their customer service is basically nonexistent & no one returns phone calls. It makes zero sense. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

Needed to pick up a NICE machine for my daughter and her Ped Ortho doc placed the prescription here. It is located on the corner of South Beretania and Keeamoku Street, in the Hale Pa'aawa building. The building is a medical building...busy! I've been here three times already for various medical equipment my daughter needed. The parking can be chaotic and tight in some spaces so please don't speed in the parking garage. There are many patients walking to and from in this small garage. The first hour is free :) The staff who helped us is nice and very thorough and informative. read more

Got a bill from Cade Medical for the wrong item. I called and it was confirmed in the end that the item was the incorrect item and that I do not have to pay the initial bill. Got a new bill from Cade Medical that was for more than the initial bill. I called again and they said they could not do anything about the bill since now it is for the correct item. Someone explain to me why if I caught their mistake, I now have to pay more? It's not about the cost, but the principle. If I made this mistake at my job, I would eat the extra cost. It's called being responsible for your own mistakes. read more

Rented a Nice Cold compression machine to use after surgery. It stopped working after one day and there were no emergency numbers to call during the long weekend. They should have a way to get in touch with patients when help is needed. read more

I would like to thank Megan Dyer at MedFocus on 1402 S. Beretania Street 6 th floor. Also a Cathy a nurse at Minimally Invasive Surgery Suite 600 & Shilo and Thelma and Dr. Atkinson on 7 floor . I was going to Dr. Atkinson for my ankle and was diagnosis was a strain to Rt. Ankle no apparent tear to the Achilles Tendon. That was on 750 I was experiencing A-Fib which chemical smells brought it on. Living on N.S. I was behind a huge pineapple truck that the exhaust was horrible and infront of that a diesel truck so 40 mins of going so slow finally got to Schofield Barracks-for fresh air. Then when I got to parking structure at 1401 S. Beretania Street . I got out of truck More exhaust and bad smell on ground. I got out of there fast. Going to 7 th floor went into Ladies room the drain was in that Bathroom the worst smell out of there and my heart started rapid 130's heart beat I got out of there fast too. I barely made it to the office to sign in and Shilo and Thelma were at the desk I told them I was having A-Fib and needed to lay down. They got me a room fast. I layed down they took BP it was high and this happened every time I got up and walked. Dr.Atkinson was great He was calm and talked to Jeffery Chung at Straub my Electro Physiologist and suggested I take an extra 6.25mg of Carvedilol it takes a while to kick in and they were closing so I felt better left and went down to 6 th floor to get a brace for my ankle. I got out of elevator another smell later Cathy the nurse at Minimally Invasive Surgery told me they are doing wall paper. She was my angel that day . She came out of the doors and I asked if she was a nurse she said yes, I told her I was having A-Fib I had to shi shi bad so she's smart got me a wheel chair and got me to her office to use ladies room. Each time I got up and walked it would bring it on again. Cathy was Focused and her office, was not equipped for my situation, she was concerned so I ended up going to Queens ER in an ambulance. She told security because I was worried about about my truck maybe being there over night. Cathy was efficient fast thinking and safety was first . Then she called the brace people and that's when Megan came we were waiting for firemen, BRW they were out standing. Thank you guys and I was wanting to get measured for the brace living so far didn't want to have to come back. Cathy put some thought into my head ha ha. She was smart dealing with all kinds of people and she said your heart is the Most important thing right now so I ended up letting the brace go at that time. Then went to ER. Cathy was so on it I asked for her name, and the lady who was there for brace. So today I called Megan about the brace I was trying not to go in there while they are doing wall paper etc. She was so nice and remembered me and was very Accommodating so I wouldn't have to come in right away but still be able to get my brace She asked her boss and it's on it's way Fed Ex. I am so blessed so many nice people helped me that day. Cathy the head nurse at Minimally Invasive Surgery was my angel when I got out of elevator I made it to the bench . She came out of the 2 doors and I asked her if she was a nurse. I knew I was in good hands . When your heart beat is 130's your not thinking straight your overwhelmed and scared and feels like your going to die or have a heart condition worse Then you have at that moment. I know God sent her at the very minute I needed her I thank God for that. She deserves some kind of metal. Also Megan extending herself to work with me to help me to get my brace. Also a big Mahalo to Shilo, Thelma and Dr. Atkinson for helping me in his office. The X-ray lady that took photos of ankle. Even the security guard and manager were wonderful at Hale Pawa'a building 1401 S. Beretania Street. Also the student lady in the ambulance and the guy who did a great job putting my IV in great people. . So blessed Mahalo Queens ER were wonderful also, Mahalo to all that helped me over there. My first visit to Med Focus was because they are located in the same building as my physician. I will be returning because of the expertise, patience and knowledge they share with their customers. I usually dread going to a medical supply store because generally people working in those places seem like either they need your order or they will be out on the street, or they are just passing time until they can leave. Not the case here! Even while waiting my turn, these folks were concerned about my comfort and well being. Thank goodness, a new generation of people who are 'into' their jobs!
