We attended our Granddaughters graduation in Oahu in May, there was a lot of walking so i rented a mobility scooter from U-go mobility. I've used this company twice now and have been very happy with the ease of renting and having it delivered. Oh and let me tell you about the battery, i couldn't believe the long life. I never once had to worry about finding an outlet to recharge the battery. We live in Michigan and i own a mobility scooter and had to purchase an extra battery so i didn't have to worry about running out of juice so i know what i'm talking about. Please allow me to make a suggestion in this review. If your going to contact any company the day before you need the Item, use the number and call them directly don't send an email they aren't always seen right away. read more

I ordered a walker with a seat that rolled when touring Oahu, HI. I paid $78.53 for what ended up being a half day. When I called I specified that I especially needed one for the swap meet. I called on Monday, but their people were already out making deliveries. They said they started at 8:00 the next morning and we were traveling to several tourist areas. The rental was up to 2 weeks but on Tuesday, the walker was not delivered until later in the day and we were off to the tourist areas. I had to use their carts to get around. I had just had back surgery. I used the walker for the Swap Meet and returned on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. I therefore used the walker for a half day. I asked if they could reduce the fair since I only had it for a half day. Angrily they said NO! Do not use this company! read more

While we do appreciate the gentleman who called us to apologize, Patti's behavior and customer service were reprehensible. Your website shows 1 day rental and when asking for # of days-1 is an option. Also, it says airport or hotel delivery? With yes or no options. It doesn't say you can't pick the wheelchair up when you select no. These issues both came up when Patti and my husband communicated for 2 days after I made an online reservation. She said one day rentals were not offered, he asked if we could rent for 2 and was told yes. When we arrived at the destination where we were expecting a wheelchair to be delivered per HER conversation by email and phone w my husband, she told me (after WE called HER!), "We won't be delivering one because we ran out today and we don't do one day rentals anyhow." But my husband had already agreed to a multi- day rental. I asked how did they run out "today" if I made the reservation yesterday and you were emailing my husband yesterday AND today? She said, "I never saw any online reservation." I repeated that to her as a question and she rudely told me I hadn't reserved one online. Flat out LIE evidenced by the fact that my husband replied to THEIR initial email which he received BECAUSE of the online reservation form I filled out....and Patti replied to him multiple times. She was rude, dismissive and inconsiderate. I'll make sure to post this review everywhere I possibly can. A once in a lifetime visit to Pearl Harbor for my arthritis-stricken 86 year old mother-in-law was ruined by Patti's inability to conduct professional communications, tell the truth, apologize, or have even an ounce of customer service skills. When my husband reserved a motorized scooter last night 3/8/17 he received a confirmation for the scooter to be dropped off at our hotel at 9am the next morning. By 9:11 the next morning we were still waiting. We called the woman multiple times to arrange anything we could get as my mother cannot walk. The woman was not only rude to my husband when he called, she was rude to me as well then hung up on me after I asked her for an estimated time of arrival for the scooter. When my mother called them asking about the eta for the scooter, she claimed that I had hung up on her and she cancelled our order. If you need a wheelchair or scooter, do not use this service as it is clear they do not care about their customers or about making any money whatsoever. The only reason they get one star is because I can't give them negative stars. Save yourself the hassle and attitude of this place and look elsewhere. Mahalo. read more

I rented a scooter a few weeks back. The main reason was Pearl Harbor doesn't have wheelchairs available. For the price of a wheelchair with other companies, I got a scooter dropped off and picked up from my hotel. I took it to Pearl Harbor, no problem with the shuttle or the boat ride and I even rode it down to the harbor for the pirate ship tour (over a mile). The pirates helped lift it on to the ship so I could sit comfortably. read more

These guys are great! They met us in Waikiki outside the restaurant we were having lunch at and provided a clean, new looking wheelchair. So convenient. After our time was up, they met us at the airport where we were unloading luggage to retrieve the wheelchair. Could not have been more convenient. We did a Google search for mobility help for my Mom while in Waikiki. U-Go consistently had strong reviews so we gave it a try. We got a motorized scooter that was easy to pull apart in 5 parts and not very heavy to lift and put in the trunk for traveling around town. Mom said the scooter was very comfortable. It really was a life saver so my Mom could get maximum enjoyment of our time here. The customer service was fantastic. The company is owned by a husband and wife who obviously like and care about what they do. They brought the scooter right to our hotel room at a Pre-arranged time, showed up on time, were very friendly and explained everything clearly, answered questions without hesitation and offered to switch out the scooter for a stronger model if we needed more power to reach certain tourist sights. Highly recommend & very grateful for this great company! We had an issue with our own mobility scooter before we left the mainland, and were concerned that our trip to Hawaii would be difficult as my husband cannot stand or walk for any more than a short time. Upon our arrival at Aulani resort, we were referred to U Go mobility who took our call on a Sunday late afternoon! Although Monday was a holiday, Hugh met us at Pearl Harbor with a rental scooter, which made our experience there, and our entire vacation so much easier. Hugh provides EXCEPTIONAL service. We rented a small scooter, one that could be disassembled and transported in a car or bus with no part weighing more than 30 pounds. He included a basket and cane-holder, both of which came in handy. Hugh told my husband he would track our flight and have the scooter delivered within 2 hours of our checking into the hotel. Better yet, Hugh was waiting on the scooter at the Bell Captain's desk for us when we arrived. From the initial conversation to the delivery and the pick-up, U-Go Mobility was fantastic! They even gave a list of recommended places to go and made themselves available if we had any questions while on our trip. Though I was hoping my Mom would want to rent an electric scooter, I wasn't sure, so Hugh made arrangements to bring both a wheelchair and scooter (for Mom to try) to the resort. He was there waiting in front with both when we arrived. He was patient and kind, and even though my Mom wasn't willing to try the scooter, he offered to let her try it out for a night if we did change our minds. When I realized the mini-van we rented was too high for my Mom to easily get up to her seat, he also let us borrow a small stool and also a cushion for the wheelchair, free-of-charge.
