They serve a ton of tea drinks but most popular for their matcha drinks. My friend and I got the Next level matcha latte and both were really good! Very strong and earthy flavor. I got 70% sweet which I think was perfect. The cheese cold foam was also delicious and helps balance out the sweetness and bitterness of the tea. I love that they offer oat milk for most of their drinks for those who are sensitive to dairy! Each drink comes with a small cute tote too. Friendly and fast service! The place itself is super aesthetic and chic with their green decor and plants. They do have a photo booth (in the corner with mirrored doors) for $10 and you can get either 2 regular photo booth strips (2 pics each) or 1 big pic. Great fruit teas here, but tends to be on the sweet side. I usually order 0% sugar at most boba places and do that at this one as well; however, their drinks remain on the sweeter side. I've tried all the fruit teas and am very satisfied with those! For milk teas with boba, I'm actually not a big fan. It tends to be more milk taste than tea taste, which is not my preference (as a result, I prefer Chicha Sanchen). Their boba is also a little too soft for me, though many of my friends really like the super soft texture. One thing that slightly irks me is that they always give these really nice bags with your drinks, even if you order dine-in. It seems wasteful as we don't really have any other use for the bag and there doesn't seem to be a way to request that they prepare your order without it. read more

Took about 20 minutes from arrival to getting drinks. There's one kiosk to order from which everyone lines up for. Service doesn't really exist. Light seating inside, but much better to take the drinks out to the mall or walk around. A few things outside of the drinks bothered me as bad user experience. Advertising a "free drink" for scanning their QR code or ordering online but really being the loyalty program is just clickbait. They're also proud of planting a tree for every 1000 drinks but that's a lot of bottles and waste especially because they double lid a few drinks with both the seal and a plastic. Just some questionable practices overall (absolutely, I am being critical because dark patterns also known as deceptive patterns are annoying). Next Level Matcha Latte - I can't lie, this matcha was pretty good. Unfortunately only medium size since it's matcha. Oat milk substitution is not extra, it's included at the price. Whisked well, the matcha was silky smooth and had a heaping scoop of cheese foam on top which was also very smooth and flavorful. Orange Jasmine Fruit Tea w/ Boba - their honey boba is the white boba popular across Taiwan! Not crystal boba, it's very similar to standard black boba, but more mochi-like. Rather than bouncy, it somewhat absorbs chews. May not be popular for most people used to brown sugar boba that's typically more QQ. Fruit tea was tasty, very refreshing. I should've bought Matcha drinks instead of oolong drinks bc I totally missed the promo... lame Overall, the ambience inside was really pretty clean and lots of mirrors. There's a little photograph booth in the back that you can pay for if you want photos to remember your visit! A fun spot to check out if you're in the area the parking is total crap though, spots are really tight and very limited as they share with other surrounding businesses. There is a paid lot next to it and the other lot over is chipotle's lot. One thing I noticed is that they're pretty strict about dogs here, they have to be service animals in order to be allowed inside. Chi cha (the boba spot that was here prior to UG) never seemed to mind when we brought Koda inside. Cute spot to check out if you're in the area and you can find parking! Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #110 UG Tea is a newer boba shop that replaces ShareTea that replaced Chicha San Chen. I've walked past a couple of times since it opened but always saw a long line of people out the door. On a recent visit to Bellevue, we decided to go a bit earlier than peak hours. It turns out, before noon, things aren't too bad at all. There was only a single party ahead of us. The store has tasteful green decor, living up to their "Unique Green" moniker. Orders can either be done via the single kiosk or in person. Jasmine Milk Tea, Large, 30% Sugar, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($7.50) - This milk tea comes by default with UG Special Milk, which is a dairy rich cream mixture that adds richness and body to the tea. The tea itself has a pleasantly deep and rich jasmine flower aroma, but it's definitely oversteeped somewhat, resulting in a darker taste rather than the more familiar brighter jasmine that I prefer. It's still a good milk tea. 30% sweet is the recommendation and I think that's good, probably similar to 50% at other shops. Less ice still leaves quite a bit of ice leftover after the drink completely cools. I'm surprised they recommend normal ice. It's probably to save on cost. The boba is quite interesting in texture. It has the same chew throughout with no variation in softness between the center and the exterior, which more resembles a fresh handmade boba vs. a commercial dried boba. Unfortunately it's cooked or steamed for too long, resulting in boba that isn't particularly bouncy. There is some resistance, but the teeth just sink into the pearls - not to the point of being mushy though. The boba is sweetened nicely in honey, which also creates a soft and silky coating on the outside. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 Camellia Oolong Milk Tea, Large, 30% Sugar, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($7.50) - I liked this one more than the jasmine. It has the same mouthfeel as the other drink, but the flavor is fresher, with strong flowery notes that almost develop into a yellow stonefruit finish. Quite pleasing. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 UG is a very solid boba shop and is similar in quality to several of the other newer boba shops in downtown Bellevue. Recently opened in Bellevue, taking over the space of former Chicha San Chen (which moved to Bellevue Square). It was not too busy when we went on a Saturday, but got busy as we enjoyed the drinks (maybe the later post dinner rush). I created an account on app to get 50% off the medium camellia milk tea with boba added (no discount on the boba, just the drink itself -$3), and we also tried the Next Level Matcha. Prices were fair for the area. The medium camellia milk tea is quite fragrant while the boba is a bit soft. I requested less ice but still got 25% of the cup with ice, so preferences were not taken into account. The next level matcha is a matcha fan's favorite dream. I specifically loved the matcha cream top and there is definitely a lot of matcha of various intensities in the drink. I recommend the sip straw to enjoy the drink longer as it is delicious There is a photobooth where you can purchase credits to take a few pictures to print out, but we opted to not do it as we were not in the mood. When I walked in, I was surprised at how gorgeous this place is. The aesthetic is minimalist with lots of silver touches. They have tea, milk tea, and smoothies, that are very similar to the other tea places closely. I got the classic jasmine milk tea. It was very good, the tea tasted rich and it compliments the milk so well. J really liked it! I asked for 50% sugar and it wasn't too sweet. If you ordered 30% it might not be sweet at all, so if you like slightly sweet I'd recommend 50%. My boyfriend got the peach camellia fruit tea, this was so good! The drink came with lychee jelly so it had a nice combination of peach and lychee, very sweet and fruity. He got 50% and it tasted sweeter than the milk tea I ordered. If you order 2 drinks, you can get a free Photo Booth experience. The photobooth is so cute, the camera is placed at the very top corner of this photobooth room and you can take take 3-4 photos. They print one picture out for you but you can also scan the QR code to get it digitally. All free! Overall, I like UG tea a lot. It is my second favorite milk tea place in Bellevue. I'd come back. My friend spotted this tiny but mighty shop, so we decided to be adventurous and give it a go. The shop is super busy on the Sunday, 01/25/2026 we stopped by to try their drinks. It's very bright and lively, with a white and green aesthetic. The queues move pretty quickly, as there is a digital kiosk as well as someone manning the counter. They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from as well as hot tea drinks available. The staff is quick, efficient and knowledgeable. They are busy with preparing drinks for the customers as well as for the to go orders. My favorite feature in store is the ability to see the progress of your drink order and watching the beverages being packaged in really nice packaging. My friend and I were so enamored with the bags that the mobile orders are packed in, that we ordered 2 mobile orders just to have to reusable bags to use as lunch bags or whatever. A new matcha chain replacing the spot that chichasanchen used to be at. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy. We waited around 25-30 minutes for our drinks so highly recommend ordering online beforehand if you don't want to wait. Parking was also pretty limited in that plaza so be aware. The interior of the shop was GORGEOUS-- a Minimal but modern design. They also had a paid photobooth featuring a high angle lens if you come with your friends. I ordered the next level matcha latte with oat milk (milk alternatives are free of charge!). The matcha was creamy but very subtle. The drink had a salted cheese finish on the top which complemented well with how smooth the matcha was. I did enjoy the drink but it didn't blow me away. We came on a Saturday around 3pm and the place was fairly busy but didn't take us long to order as they have kiosks as well as someone available to take your order. The space was already fairly small when ChiCha San Chen but with the added photobooth and decor it's a lot more cramped. I got the next level matcha and my husband got the camellia oolong. The drinks are made with lactose free milk which is a plus as long as you aren't getting anything with whipped cream or "cloud". The drinks overall were meh. I'm so happy I found this place. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I'm usually very limited in what I can order, and a lot of places don't even offer good dairy-free options. Here, they have one of the best lactose-free milks, and it was such a breath of fresh air to be able to order anything off the menu without worrying about getting a stomach ache or feeling sick afterward. I also heard the store was a bit chaotic that day, with no clear signage for preorder pickup, so people ended up standing in the wrong line. We decided to give it another shot today while the Next Level Matcha Latte (極濃抹茶拿鐵) was still B1G1. We also ordered the Camellia Oolong Milk Tea (茶花紅烏龍奶茶). The matcha was just as good as before, but the camellia oolong really surprised me--it was super refreshing with a light floral note. It's sweeter than plain oolong milk tea but not overly sweet. I drank half of it easily, passed it to my husband... and then finished the rest myself. Prices are on par with other boba places in Bellevue. I'm hoping they'll run more promotions on Panda or Fantuan app in the future, because I'd definitely come back to try more of their floral tea drinks. This is the third boba shop that opened at this spot. Chicha moved to Bellevue square, sharetea closed down, and UG tea is now taking over. This place was truly disappointing during soft opening. For an establishment that advertises providing the best matcha, the matcha cookie smoothie had zero matcha taste. The cookie blended throughout the smoothie was soggy and the texture reminded me of drinking vomit. The color of the "matcha" is great but don't be fooled. Even the green whipped cream tasted nothing like matcha and I'm convinced they just used green food dye. Influencers on TikTok are saying it's the best matcha they've ever had but clearly they've never had good matcha or are being paid by this establishment to give a good review. The 15 jasmine tea was alright, but pretty bland compared to other competing businesses. I'd rather go a few blocks down and get Molly tea. The best drink out of the 3 was the camellia oolong milk tea. Maybe stick with milk tea if you decide to give UG Tea a try. This was so disappointing, we went to Molly tea right after. I hope this establishment fixes their recipes during soft opening for their permanent grand opening. On the bright side, the space is cute and decorated nicely. Another week means another matcha Yelp review! UG (Unique Green) Tea had a BOGO 50% your second drink if you wear green this weekend and so I threw on my green attire and got myself a matcha (or two) from UG! UG took over the old Chi Cha San Chen location in Bellevue (Chi Cha has since moved inside of Bellevue Square). There is a parking lot, but the spots are VERY compact (like make sure you push in your side mirror compact) and are shared with two or three other businesses. While there are a few seating areas (just seating, no tables), the shop is tight and so you'll most likely want to take your drink to go. The interior is nicely decorated with lots of mirrors and green decor, including a faux green plant wall which is supposed to be representative of the fact that they plant a tree for every 1000 drinks sold. While I support their initiative of being environmentally-friendly, I think that it would be more impactful if they invested in compostable drink cups and straws as those still go in the trash. The math for a thousand cups that go into the garbage to plant one tree just doesn't make sense to me and probably doesn't offset the damage it does to the environment... The UG menu gives Molly Tea vibes and their drinks tastes quite similar to Molly Tea, especially their JASMINE MATCHA CREAM LATTE ($6.95). Their Jasmine matcha had extremely strong floral notes and was rich and creamy- you have to be a jasmine lover to like this one. For my second drink, I ordered the NEXT LEVEL MATCHA LATTE ($6.95). This was the closest drink they had to a regular matcha latte, but tasted more like dessert than latte to me, even at 30% sugar (which was the recommended or default sugar level for both drinks). As someone who normally gets 30-50% sugar at other drink/boba places, I would get 10% next time. Both of these matcha drinks were beautifully layered, but the matcha green color was on the lighter green side, even before the drinks were stirred. Thus, I can't say the matcha was that concentrated or of high quality (unlike Yoka tea where the green color is super dark). Also, you can't modify the ice levels of these two drinks, but the ratio of drink to ice ratio was fair. One plus about UG though is that they don't charge for substituting oat milk for regular milk, but I'm pretty sure their drinks include dairy still because of the cream toppings (so maybe still bring a Lactaid pill just in case!). Service was good when I went at opening time (11am) over the weekend and I got my order within 10 minutes after ordering as there were only a few people ahead of me in line. The barista was very informative and friendly too and gave me a free paper bag for my to-go order. As a matchaholic, while I'm glad to have given UG a chance, I think I'd rather go to Nana's Green Tea down the street for my matcha indulgence. These drinks were passable, but I wish the ratio of matcha to drink was higher. I also wish that UG practiced more of the environmental practices that they preach [but at least they're doing a little more than some other boba companies that don't even plant a tree]. This rating is based on the drink. I ordered the next level matcha latte with the recommended 30% sweetness. It tasted more like a frappuccino than a milk tea. I enjoyed the cheese foam on top but the drink didn't stand out compared to other places. It didn't taste much different from a Starbucks matcha frappuccino. The storefront aesthetic definitely seems to gear toward a Gen Z crowd. There were a lot of decorations which made the shop feel very small and tight on space. The staff are friendly. I tried most of their milk teas and have came to the conclusion that the only one worth paying for was the camelia one. Hey, it's a really good camelia milk tea and whenever I'm in the mood, I'll get it from here as opposed to Molly Tea or Chicha because they actually have a 22 oz size. If this franchise wasn't trying to be the next Molly Tea, I would give it a better rating however when the company puts itself in the position of 'premium milk tea', I just HAVE to make the comparison. Namely, the Jasmine milk tea. Sigh. It was pretty plain, didn't have that lingering floral flavor that Molly has. Like, it's there, but not as potent even with those fancy tea straws. I haven't tried their cold foam options though, or their Matcha (because from what I see, I think it's Matcha + some random stuff or Matcha as a cold foam on top of another drink- unrelated, in general, is anyone else tired of the cold foam trend?) The workers are super nice and more personable than Molly Tea's employees- maybe it's because it's a smaller shop? Not sure. They are all hard workers who pay attention to detail; I think if they were given more potent tea blends + better quality ingredients, they would make the same quality drinks as Molly Tea, but alas, the company relies on 'okay' quality ingredients. Alright, enough Molly Tea comparisons. The ambiance. It's cute. I don't really care about it being the "Gentle Monster" of boba, whatever that means (I mean, I kinda know what that means? But I don't think there is someone jumping up and down exclaiming "Oh my God, the GENTLE MONSTER OF BOBA?!") The interior has a cohesive design that gives it a eco-futuristic aesthetic that needs to be more widespread. I sound a little judgey here; forgive me, it's midnight. The concept is great, love the 22 oz option, wonderful staff, one really good drink, and I hope we get to see further development from UG that makes it stand out more other than its "Gentle Monster" reputation. The drinks were honestly incredible! Then were very busy that day so there was only the tablet to order from but regardless the staff was very kind and they were working hard for sure. The ambiance of the place is super cute and reminds me of glossier for some reason I don't know why. read more
