Guess who's back?? This location has been closed for about a year due to repairs for an electrical fire - but they've reopened!! This location is hands down my favorite breakfast cafe. I love sitting out on the pet friendly patio and just enjoying the fresh air and good food. The other locations just do not compare. If you're like me and have been waiting anxiously for the reopening, you'll be pleasantly surprised how they maintained the same quality and style. There were no drastic changes which is a good thing!

Basic breakfast that was of average quality. I got the traditional breakfast and wife got an omelet made to order. They must have had 15 workers or more when we arrived. I've never seen so many idle workers. A bit pricey, but ok overall. Good service and a very nice atmosphere. Place was clean.

Restaurant front with mist because it's too darn hot in AZ

I came here with my newest friend and his sweet girlfriend for breakfast/lunch after staying indoors for 12 nights. It was cool seeing mist on the way into the restaurant because it was already 106 before going in. It's possible it might be state law here because it's way too hot here in Arizona. The workers here were very nice and our waitress Paige gave us nice service. I like how they bring the pitcher of iced water and the carafe of coffee so you don't have to keep asking for refills! The coffee here is really good! We had a nice window seat with a good little view. The restaurant was really clean, including the men's restroom. So, for lunch, I had their version of the Turkey melt and French fries. They have a unique flavor with the sauce they put on the melt. Was super delicioso!!! I definitely was glad my friend took me here and I would come back! Please give them a try!

I Like US Egg Because It Has A Very Homey Ambiance & The Servers Are Always Friendly. The Food Kind Of Gives You A Small Diner Vibe But It's Not. it's Just A Very Relaxing Environment, That's Suitable For Large Groups Or Solo Guests.

Food was good. Prices are a bit high for what you get compared to other competitors. Over staffed and not trained. We were seated near bus station. Bus staff stood in the same place our entire visit doing nothing. Our server forgot three things we requested and gave us the wrong bill. Train you staff, manage your staff, staff accordingly and you can lower prices and improve service.

Egg-cellent breakfast spot with tasty food and fantastic service (Sam took great care of us). Ordered the half and half with protein pancake and the Idaho skillet of ham, sausage and mushroom with an over medium egg. Huge portion for this dish, good combo of sweet and salty. The coffee was good and appreciated that they leave you the coffee pitcher and water pitcher at the table. Husband subbed fruit for hash browns and they had a great variety. Loved the egg carton US flag decor and US Egg (puns on point) Will be back!

One of the best diners I've been to in a while. Their skillets and drinks were amazing. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Prices were reasonable and there really were no complaints from me. If I'm ever back in the Tempe area I would definitely come back again.

4 employees looking at a phone instead of working. Sanitizing stuff on table but not touched once during my visit!

I used to love this place, but after my last three visits I don't think I will be returning, unless I'm with somebody that really wants to go there. Todays visit, my table and my menu had syrup smeared across it. The table obviously had not been wiped down/sanitized. I actually observed the bus boy on a table next to me sure enough he took the dirty stuff away. Did a cursory wipe with his hand to push some crumbs onto the floor and then put out new place settings. He did not wipe down or sanitize the table. Also, today's breakfast was a real letdown Biscuits and gravy, how can you mess that up? Well I am 100% sure they microwaved them because the bottom and outer edges were tough like biscuits and rolls when you microwave them. The gravy was plentiful, but it wasn't enough to soften up the biscuits., which you definitely could not cut with a fork and even with the knife they give you was still difficult. Much less chewing it. It 2-1/2 bites, Then gave up and ate the gravy. Also why was i only offered water or more juice when i was requesting my bill? I sure could have used that earlier. Each of my visits the staff tend to congregate at the hospitality station, and chat. Unfortunately when your waiting for a refill or the bill, or to get your card back, its frustrating to just see them standing there when your waiting so you can leave. Two visits ago there was a foreign object in my breakfast burrito. I thought it was a dried corn husk, but the manager said they dont have corn husks there. So it was stringy and tough like straw, it could have been plastic. Three visits ago, my waitress disappeared, didn't bring me the bill or anything. I kept trying to flag people down, but they were too busy talking at the hospitality station. Finally had to get up and get someone just so i could pay and get out of there. 20 minutes wasted for that.

A short wait on a Saturday morning. Packed full of people, but I wish the tables were spread father apart from each other. So many good restaurants are in strip malls, and Good Egg exemplified this. The over medium eggs, cheese, and hash browns matched perfectly in my Idaho Hot Skillet with my selection of bacon, onion, and bell peppers. I subbed in toasted for an English muffin. I really liked how they left a carafe of water and coffee (if you ordered coffee) on the table. The staff was pretty busy and this takes away one thing the customers can bug them about.

We went here on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't super packed but a little busy. We were quickly seated. The waitress was nice and courteous. I got the triple p (I think) with protein pancakes, Turkey sausage, and over easy eggs (made perfectly). My friend got a triple play with protein pancakes, half sausage half bacon, cheese eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit. My other friend got an omelette with a side of broccoli. I also got strawberry yogurt for my baby. Everything was good and flavorful. The broccoli could have been cooked a little longer as it was still super firm. The mimosas were made very well, not with too much juice. It was a good time.

Loved this place!…read more First, we had to change our reservation, and the host could not have been nicer. On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

We called about half hour before and made a reservation by phone. I was disappointed that my first order choice of the Seabass was unavailable and my second choice of lamb chops was also unavailable. Not sure if this is because it was a Sunday night and/or we made the reservation immediately before showing up. They were also out of the Melted Cast-Iron Brie Small Plate that we were excited about ordering for the table. We loved this restaurant because of the dark and jungle-themed interior. We were excited to see the bold taxidermy featuring the large cats combined with the ornate, gold- framed dapper animal art hanging on the walls. Another reason to love this spot: hidden inside is an entrance to a secret cocktail lounge, or speakeasy, called "Drop Dead Gorgeous." We also appreciated the entire restaurant centering around a glowing, raw wood-fire cooking pit. We could hear and watch our entrées being prepared. What we didn't love so much: the items that we would've liked to have ordered were unavailable. The price to portion ratio in the small bites could also be improved a bit. Great service from our waitress throughout the evening. We ordered: - Fire Roasted Bone Marrow for the table (3/5) - sourdough toast, jalapeño marmalade with demi. I was so excited to try bone marrow for the first time. It was interesting. Sort of like a mix between butter and fat from a steak. It tasted really good with the spicy jalapeño jelly and bread provided. I expected us to be warm and it came out cold. Still not sure if I like it or not. Maybe I'll give it a second try - White Oak Grilled Chicken Skewers (4/5) - served with shiso leaves, kimchi, shishito peppers. kosho aioli, lemon aioli, ssamjung for the table - Very yummy. We enjoyed these. We had actually changed our mind right after initially putting in the milk bread order for the table and they brought out the milk bread so quickly that our waitress said she would give this to us on the house. - Milk Bread for the table (4/5) - miso tomato butter, almond & Kalamata. Even though we changed our mind and got this sent to our table accidentally, I would order this again. It was very delicious and it comes out as an adorable little tomato shaped and colored milk bread with the toppings looking like the stem on top. So tasty and everybody loved it. A little small for our party of five. - Lemongrass Half Chicken (5/5) - Caramelized carrots, kyoto roasted garlic, mashed potatoes & jalapeno jam. Hubs loved this. He said everything was delicious and went well together. - Bomba Rice x2 (5/5) - Risotto, shrimp, linguica, chicken, piquillo peppers, green peas, kosher aioli & Parmesan. My son and his girlfriend both ordered this and said it was very good. - Shishito Caesar Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - bonito, charred shishito peppers, ricotta salata, tapioca chicharron & togarashi. My daughter ordered this and said it was very good. - Spicy Peanut & Tomato Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - peanut dressing, heirloom tomato, baby gem, daikon radish, onion, mala chile, whipped queso de cabra & sour nut. YUMMMM What a creative and unique salad! So glad I tried it. It has unique flavors that work well with each other and a crunch. There's also some heat that goes along with the salad. I was able to withstand it. My son would probably say it's not spicy at all. I'll be craving this salad for months to come. - Dad or Daddy Specialty Cocktail - bright, buzzed & stoned vodka, apricot liqueur, Riesling cordial, ginger, lime, topped with Red Bull Peach Edition (White Peach) - Fruity Mocktail - I asked the waitress if they had any mocktails and she asked me what I liked and gave me examples. Based on what I told her she brought me out a delicious fruity mocktail topped with fresh mint. Parking along the street at metered parking or in parking garage nearby. A few streets away from Tempe Town Lake.

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

We actually booked it on a whim that same afternoon while looking for somewhere with reservations. I didn't realize at first that it was the striking A-frame building we've driven past several times and always wondered about. Once we pulled in, everything clicked--and what a beautiful place. The architecture is stunning, the setting feels tucked away and peaceful, and parking was easy with plenty of space available. We were seated immediately at a corner table surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, which made the entire experience feel bright and inviting. One detail that really stood out to me was the quality of the restaurant itself. Even the tables were heavy, solid, and beautifully made. It sounds like a small thing, but those thoughtful details made the space feel intentional and elevated. The food was absolutely to die for. Every dish at the table impressed us, the cocktails were excellent, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared without being pretentious. From the beautiful architecture to the incredible food and welcoming atmosphere, Oliver's completely exceeded our expectations. It's the kind of restaurant that makes getting dressed up feel exciting and worth it, and I absolutely loved that about the experience. It felt like such a perfect date night spot or place to celebrate something special. The servers were also extremely attentive the entire night. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

"Mochinut Delight with Every Bite"…read more Mochinut really lives up to its promise of being "more than just a donut." What sets it apart is that iconic chewy, airy texture from the rice flour dough, along with the cute ring of eight little dough balls that makes each piece instantly recognizable. I've always gone to their 99 Ranch Market location in Chandler, but this was my first time visiting this outlet. The ambiance here is plain and simple--not as vibrant as some of their other branches--but it gets the job done. Service was friendly and quick, which made the visit smooth and enjoyable. After a couple of visits overall, my go-to flavors are still Matcha, Chocolate, and Choco Funnel Cake. With so many flavor options rotating, I'm excited to try more next time. Every bite is a perfect hit for my sweet tooth. They also offer rice hotdogs, milk teas, and a variety of flavored drinks that pair nicely with their donuts. With locations in Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and Peoria, Mochinut is definitely worth a stop if you're craving something fun, chewy, and delightfully different.

As part of my ticket, I received a coupon for a buy one donut, get one free at Mochinut in Tempe. I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon to redeem my coupon. They are located in a busy shopping center, but I didn't have any issues finding parking. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your typical donut spot. Relatively small, but they do have some tables if you'd like to dine in. Most people grab and go. Which is what I did. Service (4/5): You order at the counter. The staff was friendly and answered my questions. While Mochinut is a chain, this was my first time checking it out. Drinks (N/A): Only donuts for me on this visit. Food (4/5): As you would expect, it's all about the donuts here. With that being said, they are unique. Instead of your typical donut shape, these donuts are essentially donut holes that are connected to form a circle. They are Asian donuts, so you'll see Asian-influenced flavors. You have your classic cake donut (original), as well as several other options including matcha, ube, and Korean churro. I went with the original and the churro. What I like about these donuts is that they're not overly sweet. Beyond donuts, they have a combo where you can get a corndog, donut, and a drink. Intriguing. That's what I'll have to try next time around.
