We decided on Two Chicks before our early Aces game because I'm in love with the Gourmelt Bene. It's one of the best Bene's I've ever had! I ordered a Bloody Mary as I've never had their's before. It was such a treat and I loved the marinated green bean that came with it. My husband ordered the Almond Poppyseed French Toast Combo and a Pineapple Mimosa. My friends and I were visiting Reno for the Cinco De Mayo weekend and found this place on yelp. We arrived and were told it's about a 30 min wait but could wait from the car and would receive a text once they were ready. My friend was notified that there was one person before us so we walked to the restaurant and as soon as we got there they were ready to seat us. The inside of the restaurant is super cute and they have an awesome ambiance. A kind and sweet waitress by the name of Morgan approached us and took our order. They brought our food and even though I sent mine back to make my bacon extra crispy as I had requested it, my food came back pristine and delicious. We all enjoyed our experience and the food was great. I look forward to making my way back sometime soon! read more

Whenever I'm in the area Two Chicks is a must go for me. If you don't want to go wait for a table the bar seating is a good option (normally no wait). The 3 of guys needed to wait for 45 minutes for a table hence we decided to sit at the bar which was no wait. We ordered 3 items and all 3 were delicious as always. I had the chorizo omelette with hash browns and a side of sour dough bread. The portion is good for the price. Staffs are friendly as always. Parking might be a challenge at certain times but if you drive around the blocks spaces are available. read more

Found this awesome breakfast spot while visiting Reno by doing a Google search - all the reviews are spot on! Went on Saturday - tried the huevos rancheros - they are delicious! Had to go back on Sunday - this time had the Chilaquiles Verde - and WOW!!! Chicken and green salsa party in your mouth! Both days there were 20+ min waits but we lucked out and sat at the bar - this is a locals and tourist spot - definitely make it a point to go if you're looking for a local breakfast spot while you're in Reno. The menu in this restaurant has absolutely too much good stuff! This is the most difficult time I've had in a long time trying to decide what to order because there were just too many amazing choices. I ended up ordering their daily special, coffee crumb cake pancakes and it makes my mouth water to remember it now. My hubby ordered the biscuits and gravy and honestly, they were the best B&G I've ever had. My hubby said "the gravy has flavor instead of just flour" The restaurant was adorable too, and service was good. First visit to the mid-town location, sooo glad I came here today! I love the quaint and Upbeat atmosphere. I avoided this location in the past because parking in midtown is usually on street. Absolutely terrible. This breakfast was so terrible I had to hop on and leave this review immediately. I ordered the sweet potato pancake combo with a chicken apple sausage, side biscuit and side bacon which I asked to be cooked not too crispy. These bacon strips have walked through the valley of the shadow of death that's how decrepit they look. The sweet potato pancakes are AWFUL. I took one bite and thought i was trippin then took another and thought yep these are terrible. They are soggy and bland and honestly wouldn't be fit for a dog. The biscuit was tough and had a weird flavor to it. Tasted like it was made days ago. This was honestly the worst breakfast experience I've had in YEARS. I haven't been to Two Chicks for awhile, but as always was pleasantly surprised. It has such unique and tasty dishes. I had the Two Chicks skillet, and man was it spicy with all of the jalapenos. I probably could have used a lesser amount of them, but other than that, it was great. The sweet potato hash was interesting and not too mushy. There was a lot of bacon and the eggs were cooked perfectly. They also served toast with a mango butter. I loved that! The service was friendly and responsive. The food came out even faster than I anticipated. I love the modern but homey feel of the place with its bright colored stools and murals on the walls. We were in town for a tournament and wanted a good brunch. We were added to the wait list, we waited maybe 15 minutes which was great. The server was very nice. I went to the little bar on the side called side chick . I liked the drink I had. Very cute place. Locally owned. The food was great. The only thing was that we waited over 45 minutes for our food. We kept looking around and it was dying down. The food didn't come all at the same time either. My kids and husband had theirs and mine took a really long time to get to me. I found myself in Reno the other day with an opportunity to go out to breakfast, and saw this spot with great reviews on Yelp. We went on a Friday morning around 10, and I called ahead to make a reservation even though I didn't think I really needed one. I'm glad we did because when we got there lots of folks were waiting. I can only imagine what it's like on the weekends. The place is spacious, with a bar and a patio outside. Very cute vibe inside and lots of funny t-shirts for sale. I had the special - breakfast fried rice and it was great. The rice was flavorful but not overly spicy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My mom had the sourdough pancake combo with bacon and eggs and she ate every bite. The pancakes are so fluffy and tasted great. I do have to mention that parking was a real pain. There is a tiny lot out in front that was full, and I had to circle a couple of times to find another spot nearby. I finally found one on Virginia right across the street. read more

Two Chicks is good overall, but a bit hit or miss for me. I had the croque madame and I'm not sure if I'll try it again since it came out pretty burnt. That said, I really enjoyed the rest of the food. They've got great sauces and the environment is fun, colorful, and decorated really well. Sourdough Pancakes!! Yelp brought us here while in Reno. Parking in the lot can be tricky but you can also park on the street. I suggest calling ahead and making reservations on the phone or be prepared to wait. One good thing about waiting you can enjoy thier little side chick bar on the side and grab yourself a bloody mary (I love the Hawaiian one) this was also suggested by our awesome server. They have outdoor,indoor and bar seating. Place is cute diner like feel and staff and servers were great. Their menu is quite big and since we came here twice we were able to try a few items. Our family favorite has to be their sourdough pancakes they are amazingly good, moist and just flavorful (blueberry was the one too), we also tried breakfast tacos, chicken fried steak and gravy with homeade hasbrowns with english muffin with house made cinnamon butter, also the ultimelt was delicious and chilequlles with chorizo (might be my less favorite out of what we had). We really enjoyed ourselves. I hosted a group brunch event here. It's one of two locations. This one in midtown is smaller then the south Reno location. The max that we were able to seat at one table was like 8-9 people. I had the poppyseed French toast. It was delicious. Parking at this location was scares.
