Our Reno favorite!! This is the spot, we love it here(and their second location down the way. The service here is second to none, the staff is always friendly and even when there is a wait it isn't very long before you are eating! Bin coming here for years now and their food is all excellent. Our top favorites are the "chile relleno" all the breakfast options are great but they also have a delicious burger and wraps for lunch. They make sure you can have it your way and we just love that. I bring my mom here and she's always so excited. Side note the coffee is so good too and refills always come quick. The place is clean warm and cozy and the decor makes you feel right at home. A good burger will make you put in a little effort to eat it, and it definitely did. A little messy, but when you're ordering a burger with a bunch of toppings and sauces, it's what you sign up for! The burger was incredible, it was the perfect level of spice, the flavors were incredible, and it was perfectly cooked. The benedict was also so yummy. The eggs were perfectly runny, the hash was a great addition to the classic benedict, and the hasbrown were also so yummy. My first time into the cup I've been really wanting to go here and I was not disappointed. I loved it. The decor, the ambiance the waitresses were so friendly and the food is just delicious. We visited The Cup Cafe for our first time recently after driving by many times and were so glad we did! The inside was cute and felt like the inside of a house. It was family friendly and they had coloring pages and crayons for the kids. The staff was friendly and service was quick and the food was delicious! We arrived here on a Tuesday (a holiday) at about 10 am. They were busy but we didn't have to wait long to get a seat. I absolutely love that you can order a biscuit with gravy instead of toast with your breakfast. Me and my kids ordered the chuck patty breakfast and the sausage patty breakfast both with biscuits and gravy. I thought it was all good and well made. Hubby had an eye appt at 8 am in this area. I have seen this place for a long time, and have never tried it. It's Wednesday morning and we were shocked at how packed the parking lot was and waiting for a table, must be good then! This is the better of the two locations due to the consistency and the quality of the food. My favorite is the pumpkin pancakes when they're available during the fall season. The Bacon Avocado Benedict is a close second. The decor here is very southern/country/farmhouse. The service is always great. Highly recommend! read more

We tried coming here on a Sunday last month and it was packed with a 30-45 min wait. We tried again today on a Monday and were surprised to still see the parking lot full. However, there was no wait this time and we were seated right away! It immediately has a very homey vibe when you walk in, as if you are over at someone's house for brunch. The place is currently decorated for Christmas and all the servers had on holiday themed aprons. The menu has a little bit of everything and there's something for everyone. I got the breakfast croissant sandwich and was very impressed! The croissant was flaky, bacon was thick, and eggs were fluffy. It was paired with crispy hashbrowns and was everything I hoped it would be! My husband got the chorizo breakfast burrito served wet with green salsa. He thought it was great! The green salsa had a nice level of spice. The burrito was full of ingredients in all the right ratios. While the food was delicious, the service was even better! I don't know if we've eaten at a restaurant with better service than this in a long time. People came to check on us frequently and our waters were refilled very often. I was impressed that they could maintain this level of service even with how busy they were. This is my second time coming to Cup Cafe and it has been a good experience both times. They are busy even on weekdays, so expect a wait of 15 minutes minimum. Parking has not been a problem even though the parking lot is not very big. From the outside, the building looks very small, but it is a lot larger when you are inside. Once walking in, there's a person to put you on the waitlist and a small area of benches while you wait for a table. The decorations inside are very cute and has a lot of religious signs throughout. They also have the Cup Cafe branded t-shirts! If you are seated to the right (based on when you first walk in), the open kitchen is on that side along with bar seating and booths. The left side has tables and booths without view of the kitchen. The server that I had this time was excellent! She was patient while dealing with many tables and some difficult customers all while checking in on us. She brought the food to the table next to us, but then realized it was the wrong table and got it to us. We ordered the following: - Egg's Benedict: I love the sauce they use on their Benedict's here! It's very creamy and one of the best out of the breakfast places in town! This is a must try! - Biscuits and Gravy: it was their signature dish, but it tasted average. There was nothing special about it here that would make you want to order it again. Brunched today at the Cup cafe for the first time in years. My last visit was with my last pregnancy with my youngest. I would get here early on the weekends to get one of their cinnamon rolls they only make on the weekends and on special. I don't know how I haven't reviewed them before. I'm not going to lie, I came for that special, but knew if they were out; I would happily find something else. We came out later trying to miss the rush of after balloon race crowd. Today, they had a pumpkin pancake special that I had to have in lieu of their cinnamon roll special. My sweet tooth was satisfied! Service was good and not too long of a wait. Well fast forward, we Are staying at Atlantis resort across from the convention center and we were looking for the address for the cup cafe but it came up with 3 min walk from hotel? Well here it is a new location in the Reno town center where Burlington is located across the exit from the Atlantis bridge. The Cup 2, again charmingly decorated with flowers on the windows and lace curtains and flower decals adorn the windows, it's has a bright cheerful feel. They have a comprehensive kids breakfast and lunch menu. For those that don't need a heavy breakfast they have "A little Something" cream of wheat or Bagel and cream cheese. Love the little details letting you know how to access the WiFi And the personalized cups. It's worth the wait. With all popular places expect a wait! But there is a small hall where you can wait inside the mall area. We ordered the pork chops & Eggs And Garden Benedict with home fries with bell peppers and of course coffee! The Garden Benedict has spinach avocado but I loved the thinly sliced red onions. I had the side of fruit that was just the right amount. Enjoyed the home style atmosphere and clean surroundings but here's what makes the difference we stayed well after finishing our lunch talking through the issue they're facing.
