Eggs, Country potatoes and biscuits and gravy.

This diner is rather nostalgic as a Reno landmark has been operated under different names over the years. The ambiance inside was very clean and had the country kitchen vibe. The hostess, waiter and table attendant were exceptionally courteous and friendly. They kept our coffee flowing. They did not have heavy cream only milk or half and half. The eggs were cooked to order and the hash browns were perfect browned and crispy. The bacon was thick and yet still crispy, ham and sausage were also tasty. The biscuits and gravy were a little disappointing as the gravy was bland, thick and hardly any sausage pieces. The biscuits were average and not very browned. Overall this is a great stop for breakfast. It's very convenient and the people and food are great.

Just love this place. I have never ordered anything i did not love. From breakfast to lunch selections its a must try. Always busy but definitely worth the wait time. The servers are always smiling and friendly. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of this place. Conversations a plenty. Lots of noise but it adds to the overall environment of a busy restaurant. It's a fun family place.

Had brunch with one of my friends . We had about a 15 minute wait for a table . While we waited there was a steady flow of people coming and going. We were seated at a table right by the kitchen door.. It was ok until it wasn't. Not the worst experience. I had the Garden Benedict! It was better than I had expected! Their sauce is creamy and packed with flavor and the rest of the meal followed suit. Would like to try it for lunch and possibly have a more enjoyable seating experience

Our Reno favorite!! This is the spot, we love it here(and their second location down the way. The service here is second to none, the staff is always friendly and even when there is a wait it isn't very long before you are eating! Bin coming here for years now and their food is all excellent. Our top favorites are the "chile relleno" all the breakfast options are great but they also have a delicious burger and wraps for lunch. They make sure you can have it your way and we just love that. I bring my mom here and she's always so excited. Side note the coffee is so good too and refills always come quick. The place is clean warm and cozy and the decor makes you feel right at home. Treat yourself and eat at this place. Literally our favorite.

The Cup Cafe is one of my favorite local spots in Reno! It has the most homey atmosphere and the staff is always welcoming and friendly! The pancakes are fabulous and my go to is classic Eggs Benedict or huevos rancheros! You can't go wrong with this family owned spot and all of their homemade dishes!

I came here with my family to have brunch. It's a cute, small, and cozy cafe. I ordered a burger while the rest of my family ordered breakfast. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger and it was delicious! The fries were also crispy so that earned extra points in my book. Service was also really wonderful. Servers were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth to check out!

The cup is a cute little cafe, there is a mural greeting you, asking with the waiting area. The hostess got my name and number of party, wait time is approximately 30 minutes, not bad of the wait. I order the scrambler with toast and coffee. The scrambler has sausage with bell peppers and onion with home fries scrambled with eggs. I actually enjoyed the meal. It's good, rustic, homey feel. The servers are attentive. Even with a little mishaps. There was a spilled syrup on the seat, I accidentally sat on it. They are very apologetic. Especially my servers.

We visited The Cup Cafe for our first time recently after driving by many times and were so glad we did! The inside was cute and felt like the inside of a house. It was family friendly and they had coloring pages and crayons for the kids. The staff was friendly and service was quick and the food was delicious! We tried the chicken fried steak and pumpkin pancakes and both hit the spot. The food was all reasonably priced as well. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other breakfast or lunch options!

My first time into the cup I've been really wanting to go here and I was not disappointed. I loved it. The decor, the ambiance the waitresses were so friendly and the food is just delicious. We watched the cooks right there grill it all, make it all right in front of our eyes and the teapots were so darn. Cute was probably my favorite. All in all the food was delicious. I ordered chile relleno and it was delicious pancake that we always order for. The table was one of the most delicious pancakes I've ever tasted after I ate that I kind of wasn't hungry but I pressed on. My sister ordered steak and eggs. Steak was cooked perfectly the way she loves it. So guess what I'll be back

A cozy, bright breakfast spot with friendly staff, quick service, and a fabulous cup of coffee! Met a friend for breakfast to catch up and decided to try somewhere new. Safe to say...we will be back! I had the Tuscan scramble (order it and thank me later) and she had the bacon avocado Benedict (on my next order list). Both were very tasty and we chose the house potatoes for a side. I wish the potatoes had been crispier, but seasoned well and a great mo with peppers and onions.

I had waffles combo with banana pecan and it was very good. Service was fast as usual and i enjoyed my meal with coffee, of course. People are friendly and on the spot. My husband's french toast might have stayed longer in the pan than he liked and could have been better. Bright and clean just how we wanted. Overall, a great visit today.

Service was quick and friendly. Pancakes were delicious! Corned beef and hash tasted like it was from a can unfortunately my only disappointment for this experience.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here from begin to end. The staff was kind and attentive, we had a waitress who sat us down and got us coffee and water, and after that it was uphill from there. We had three other servers stop to ask if we needed anything or wanted to give our order, and once we made up our mind the waiter who helped us did a fantastic job. No pen or notepad, he remembered our order with full detail and not one mess up. As we finished out appetizer, sides, and meal he continued to come by and take our plates, refill our water and my coffee. He was on point. By the end of the meal I paid the bill and gave him a cash tip and thanked him. He seemed happy and thanked us for stopping in and conversing with him. Highly recommend this place to anyone, oh, and the food was on point! Sweet, savory, delicious, and it made me wish there was a place like this back home!

The inside has that old school diner and saloon vibe people always mention, a little dark, a little busy, with memorabilia on the walls and a bar that looks like it's been there forever. Even with the place being full, everything ran smoothly and the staff stayed friendly and attentive the whole time. It felt like they actually care about making sure you're taken care of, not rushing you in and out. Definitely a strong point of the experience. For food, we had the chicken fried steak and the French toast. The chicken fried steak was exactly what you want from a place like this, large portion, hearty, and satisfying. The French toast was a nice balance to that, a little lighter but still rich and comforting. Overall, it's solid, no nonsense comfort food that hits the spot. This is the kind of place you go when you want a real meal and a laid back atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Great value and service!

PJ's is a just a good ol'fashioned diner and I mean this in the best way possible. The restaurant has a comfortable, rustic feeling and the staff are warm and welcoming. Just good basic French Toast. Nothing bougie, just good French Toast. The eggs were eggs but the sausage was quite good. Rich with flavor. The coffee, while unusually expensive for a dinner, was just meh. Nothing special nor nothing terrible. On this trip, they offered the Crawfish Etouffee as a special, coming highly recommended from all the staff, so I had to try it. The soup had a very thick, creamy texture, rich with flavor. The bits of crawfish were complemented with some grilled shrimp. All served with a dollop of rice. Delicious. My wife had the Fried Chicken Platter. The skin was crisp and full of flavor. I don't know what seasonings they put on the chicken but it was absolutely delicious. Now a risk with any fried chicken is over-cooking the chicken at the cost of getting the skin crispy. This was the case with our dish. While the outside was absolutely amazing, the chicken itself was a bit over cooked. What a shame. We ordered the Chicken Platter with a side of Red Beans and Rice. This was straight from the Bayou. Simple, delicious and perfect. Just wish I had a bigger serving. We also sampled the corn bread. While this too was quite good, the texture was bit to cake like to my liking. Not in a bad way, just different to what I would have preferred.
