2-23-2025 | Two Chicks is a must go to brunch spot when you visit Reno! We waited 30 minutes, which was well worth waiting until we sat down. The bartender was hella friendly and welcoming. The vibe was chill, and the staff was helpful with whatever you needed. We were told they make their butter in-house with weekly flavors like peach and strawberry. Today, I had the peach butter with my sourdough toast, which was smackin'! You can also buy a container of the butter to take home, which, of course, I did! This place has a cute red and yellow theme to it. The location is in a sweet spot of town with lots of boutiques around it. With the popularity, I was expecting the food to wow me. Decided to come here on a recommendation from my Sister. We arrived around 12:30pm on a Friday. They close at 2:00pm so be there early. They told us it would be about a 20min wait which it was. I ordered the Croque Madame w/Parmesan Garlic Fries. It was very good. The bread was crispy and buttery. It was very cheesy which I like and the egg was cooked perfectly. Best breakfast ever!! I'm from Michigan and I was stopping in Reno before we headed to Burning Man, so we decided to stop for one last breakfast before we roughed it in the desert for a week. It was the best breakfast send off I could have asked for. I've never had such a good Benedict. I had the GourMelt Bene- Cheddar and Jack cheese melted between garlic-Parmesan crusted sourdough, topped with two poached eggs, hollandaise and topped with chopped bacon. The garlic Parm bread was to die for! I can't express enough how good this meal was. The biscuits and gravy was incredible too. It had a very authentic homemade taste. Shocking news, after two years in the city of Reno I finally went to Two Chicks. I had been scared off of popping in for brunch by tales of lines and waits my tummy is not built for but on a snowy Friday I figured, the wait for lunch can't be bad! And I was correct! We were sat immediately! We ordered promptly! Food was delivered in a dash! I appreciated the waitress giving me her food recs not just based on taste but bang for your buck. Keep it real with me please! I loved that the tomato soup had a real great and flavorful broth base and wasn't just cream with a hint of tomato paste. It was perfect dipping soup. I liked the little bite and acidity of the artichoke hearts in my sammy. I ate so rapidly I forgot to get pics. My colleagues also had an enjoyable food experience! Honestly the best place for breakfast in the RENO area!! The way they have done this restaurant was so thought out in every way. From the unique Eggs Benedict's to the waiting for your table and grabbing a drink at there little Side Chicks Barn. I absolutely loved every ounce of this place. We stopped by this place when we visited Reno one weekend. It was fairly busy when we got in and had to wait about 30min to get seating at the bar (a table would've been longer). It's best to call in advance to reserve seating. The wait for food wasn't long and the server behind the bar was super nice. She was very happy to serve us and treated us very well and was supper friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. The omelet was very full and very filling. It was slightly under seasoned, but there was salt and pepper on the side with plenty of other condiments, so it wasn't a deal breaker. The hash browns were very crispy, hot and delicious. The pancake was fluffy and very soft and the bacon was nice and crispy. Everything was well cooked and fresh. The toast comes with strawberry infused butter that was delicious and not too sweet. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and did not taste fake like most orange juices do. Overall, this was a very delicious and filling breakfast. The restaurant is clean and has two individual bathrooms so there is almost always a line to use them. There is only indoor seating and plenty of tables. The decor fits the theme well and creates a nice environment. Overall we really enjoyed eating here and will definitely be back when we are in town. read more

We just finished breakfast at Two Chicks; what a great experience! We only had to wait 20 minutes for a table for 5 on a Sunday morning which seemed very fast to me. We were lucky enough to sit in Morgan's section. That woman is amazingly patient and kind. She gave us lots of recommendations and did not mind that we were slow to decide on our selections; just too many delicious choices! Everything thing we ordered was so fresh and appetizing. The restaurant was busy, but the staff kept things moving. So why 4 stars you say? Our waitress, while good for the most part, fumbled a couple things. First, we asked for a high chair when she first greeted us and and again before our food came out, and she NEVER brought us one. In fact, we had to ask the young lady who brought out our food and drinks and she finally got us one. Second, my daughter ordered hash browns with her plate and it came with roasted (or something) potatoes but definitely not hash browns. The hash browns were for my grandson, so it was useless to have the roasted potatoes. One thing I wish I'd done was get the name of the young lady who brought out our food and drinks.
