Yaassssss! Love supporting local businesses, especially when they are women-owned to boot. Located in the fun part of midtown Reno, Two Chicks is in the area where you can shop in boutiques, sip at the wine bar or grab some Mexican food. This spot is very popular. They have a cool app that tells you where you are in the pecking order (sorry couldn't resist) once you have checked into the reception area. Our wait was about 45 minutes. Since there are shops nearby, I killed some time and supported the local economy by buying a few things for myself at all the surrounding shops. I ordered their chilaquiles ($14.49) which came with two eggs any style, housemade pico de gallo, sour cream and chorizo sausage. OMG. I loved the chips! They tasted housemade with an ancho chili sauce coating. Another friend ordered the same but with vegan sausage which she said tasted amazing. The interior is colorful with humorous merch selling T-shirts reading "How To Pick Up Chicks", "Rise & Shine Motherclucker" - you get the gist. If you need funny chicken-themed gifts, this is your spot. Service was spot on and friendly. I have to say that this is now my favorite brunch spot in Reno. Note to self, get here early. While I don't mind waiting for good food, my wallet would disagree. read more

Didn't have to work this morning, my wife also had time, so we decided to head out to breakfast. Since I have been changing up my eating habits, I don't eat red meat anymore, this is actually a great place to go. I love an eggs Benedict, but I cannot have the Canadian bacon. Also, I have reduce my carbon intake by 99%.This place has quite a few options for eggs Benedict without red meat and plenty of options to replace the muffins for tomatoes or vegetable fritters. also, I really like my coffee extremely hot. Every time I visit here, I asked the server to put hot water in my coffee cup first, dump the hot water, then fill it with hot coffee. They always seem to do this with no issue. these are huge cups, and I cannot drink them fast enough, and when the coffee gets down about halfway, it's not hot enough. Usually the server will take the cup and heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds. The waitress this time said they did not have a microwave... But she did opt to replace the coffee with a fresh cup reheated like earlier. I planned on taking the coffee to go, so it was not a waste. especially when you get coffee to taste perfect... Don't want to start over lol. What we ordered: Cup of Joe Traditional eggs Benedict Eggs Benedict on vegetable fritters with a side of tomatoes. The food only took a few minutes, the vegetable fritters were a little bit under done. But they still taste quite good. In contrast, the Parmesan hashbrowns or actually a little overdone lol. But again, she did like them. Waitress is nice, though I wish she had heated up my coffee... still a Great visit read more

I stopped in for breakfast, the food was delicious, the service was good and the coffee was great! It's kind of a small place with a couple of tables outside with a counter and more tables inside. It was busy but not crowded at 10am. There is both on street and a parking lot so no problem parking. read more

We decided to have breakfast at Two Chicks on Sunday since we were visiting Reno. We had Two Chicks in the past, and it was very delicious and great service. Sadly, this time around was a little different. It was six of us so I knew making reservations was the way to go . I ordered the French toast meal and I have to say they were very hard and not that warm. I do not recommend the French toast at all! My kids enjoyed their kids breakfast pretty simple stuff bacon, and eggs it was good for them . My parents both got the meals that came with pancakes they said it was good ! My husband got the eggs Benedict meal he said it was ok not the best but okay. The lady that helped us she was very nice and attentive. The only thing I didn't like I felt very rushed. She gave us our bill in the middle of us eating we were not even sure if we were done ordering anything else . We were just trying to enjoy our breakfast when we got hit with a bill on our table . This place gets really packed which is understandable since It's a breakfast popular spot in Reno . They have two restrooms so you have to wait in line for them not to be occupied. Another thing I have to say is they had no seat covers in the restrooms I had to pretty much create my own, since it was not that clean to begin with. Overall, I really wanted to give this place a higher rating since I love that its a woman own restaurant and it has been very successful. I was super excited to eat here again since it was so good like a year ago . I believe a three star is fair for MY experience I had and sadly I don't think we will be coming back .. read more

Came here on our first day in town. We were greeted and seated quickly. My husband ordered the pancakes and eggs and I got biscuits and gravy. My biscuit was fluffy and the sausage gravy was tasty. My husband enjoyed his pancake and eggs. The establishment was clean, but the seats were not too comfortable as most were either wooden or metal. That is the only improvement I would make. Came here based on the rave reviews. A great local place vibe. It was a busy Sunday morning. But they got us in quick. Found our orders and specifically ordered a side of sausage links. Good showed up. The French toast was perfect. Toppings were not too sweet and the portion size was right. That's the good. The meh, well. Order came out with the wrong sausage. When I mentioned it the waitress said, "we don't have links anymore" and walked away. Led to a disagreement with my meal mate where I pointed out that I specifically ordered links and pointed to them on the menu when the waitress asked how many patties I wanted. But I like sausage so I dug in. Both my patties were at best room temperature, and it was chilly in there. Gravy wasn't even close to being warm. Bacon was good and my hashbrowns were good. Because of the previous interaction with the waitress and our timeline I eat the food I paid for. Yes. Room temp gravy tasted good, but if you are a biscuit and gravy fan we like it piping hot. I don't get to go out to breakfast very often, so when some friends came into town and wanted a good breakfast, I jumped at the chance to go to Two Chicks. Because it was a weekday, we were greeted at the door and seated right away. I have been there on the weekends, and it's not surprising to have to wait, but it's worth it. My friends ordered Arnold Palmers to drink, and I ordered decaf coffee. Their drinks arrived promptly, but my coffee took quite a while to arrive However, it was fresh and hot when it did come. We placed our orders, and they arrived after a reasonable wait. I ordered the Chili Relleno Omelette with their veggie fritters ($14.29), while my friends ordered the Eggs Benedict with parmesan hash browns ($14.79), a one-egg breakfast with chorizo ($9.79), and for my non-breakfast lover, the Italian Melt ($14.99). The Italian Melt and the Chili Relleno Omelette were excellent and did not disappoint. However, the Eggs Benedict and the one-egg breakfast just missed the mark, mostly because of the sides. The parmesan hash browns didn't have enough parmesan, in fact, my friend wasn't sure they had any, and the chorizo patty was overcooked. Oh well, you can't win every time. Still, Two Chicks remains one of my favorites, and we will be back. read more

One of my favorite breakfast spots to visit when I come up from California. They have such an extensive breakfast menu and I love having so many options. The inside has the cutest farm life vibe to it and has the friendliest staff. It's a great place to get some friends or family together. Reservations are highly recommended and are down for both locations over the phone. We were able to make a really early reservation as it was Easter and they booked really quick. For the meal, delicious. They now have Chambucha on the menu and it is champagne with rotating flavors of Kombucha! Abso-freaking-lutely! The flavor during my visit was jasmine wildflower. I also ordered the Harvest Omelet which was delicious. It has sausage, cheese, sage and butternut squash! My favorite so far! I got white sweet potato home fries and sourdough toast. The fries were phenomenal and had a light refreshing spice to them. The toast was good and came with a subtly sweet strawberry butter. The flavors rotate, but i'm not sure how often. This is such a cute place, though the location is kind of iffy (though central and near the mall). The service is always good and the food seems fresh and consistently good. LISSSSSEN!!!! I have NEVER had better French toast in my life... and I fancy myself a French toast connoisseur!!! The blueberry compote accompanying it was TO DIE FOR! I chose the pork chop... It was "pretty" but lacked flavor. It was also a bit overcooked ( it was thin) - the only reason I discounted the stars. My friend got the sausage and said it was fabulous! I have been seeing this place on Yelp's Reviews!!!! We picked up my Husband's Brother at 10 am at the Reno Airport. We drove to TWO CHICK's for Breakfast today. I ordered a Half order of Biscuits and Gravy, Big for Half an Order. Delicious, I could barely eat less than half of it. It could use a little less sausage, way too much for me, but that's me! Decided to come here on a recommendation from my Sister. We arrived around 12:30pm on a Friday. They close at 2:00pm so be there early. They told us it would be about a 20min wait which it was. I noticed an outdoor area with a to go window so they might have that option when the weathers nice as it wasn't when we went. Our server was really nice. Didn't get his name. I ordered the Croque Madame w/Parmesan Garlic Fries. It was very good. The bread was crispy and buttery. It was very cheesy which I like and the egg was cooked perfectly. Came back to Two Chicks (TC) with co-workers. I followed lead today and ordered Eggs Benedict, and I have to say WELL DONE! Tasty Egg Benedict, a great thick slice of ham, a perfectly poached eggs, and great sauce. The only thing on my plate that was not great was the sweet potato hash. It really needed another 2-3 minutes of cooking time, not much color on the potatoes, over half the hash was undercooked. I did get a half order of biscuits and gravy, that was excellent, gravy was perfectly seasoned, and lots of sausage bits in there. I didn't get coffee, as one of my pet peeves is ordering coffee and then only get 1-2 cups, I would highly consider getting coffee here in the future as they SERVERS were on it. I would have to say one of the best service experiences I have seen. The team all works together, and it feels like a quality production. Another thing when you are larger party, and everyone is dining as individuals, I remember it was a ton of work, but they don't even bat an eye here, either technology has improved, or they are really great at their job, or BOTH! Our family visited this restaurant for breakfast/brunch, hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by an incident that left us disappointed. Our son accidentally spilled his orange juice, and while we understand accidents happen, we were surprised to find that we were charged for a replacement without being offered a courtesy refill, which is common practice at many other establishments. Ordering from the kids' menu, we assumed that when it stated "milk and juice extra," it meant we would be charged an additional fee, not the full price. Furthermore, the lack of displayed prices for drinks added to the confusion. Me and my wife just went for our first breakfast at 2 chicks . We waited 20 minutes for the eggs Benedict to arrive and the place was at 20% capacity. My wife got her hollandaise sauce in a side bowl and it was cold ( she did not request it on the side?), she is not usually one to complain. When she asked for warm hollandaise she was told they serve it this way here and there was nothing they could do for us by the waitress. An apparent manager came to our table to explain they could not re heat the sauce and that is how it is served, instead of just making a new one for her. Mine was not cold so I thought they would just take care of us. Instead we were embarrassed as we left the place never to return. Super popular breakfast spot in midtown Reno. The place was packed. We needed up taking two spots at the counter which was fine, and had a really great breakfast. I had am omelette that Parmesan, garlic, and other amazingness. I would definitely order it again. I would've given five stars but it doesn't seem this place knows how to make extra crispy bacon. This is the second time I've been here, asked for extra crispy bacon, and it comes in soggy. I had to send it back both times. They list to say the service was extremely friendly, and hopefully the next time I come in I'll get my bacon right. Will definitely be back regardless. read more

I need to shout out Two Chicks restaurant on Virginia st. We went and had a nice breakfast but what was even better was their take home menu. We got a huge container of home made sausage gravy and a loaf of icky wheat bread (made locally) i used the gravy with our chicken fried steaks last night and have been eating the heck out of the bread with avocado for the past couple mornings. The prices were fair and they had other stuff like take home cocktails and biscuits and gravy at home kits. Lets keep our $$ local and help small businesses stay afloat! read more

When we came it was raining, and their "heaters" were soooo weak. They should have a better waiting places. Our server Angie was AMAZING! Very friendly staff, affordable menu options, and great food! It's right in the heart of Midtown, in a great area. They have available parking too, though they do have a waitlist on busy days and weekends so get here early! They hit the nail on the head with the business Moto or idea... everything from the egg shaped plates to all the slogans on the shirts and the decor is so great. I try and stop here every time I go visit my kids at UNR. If you can't find parking mid-town they have several locations in Reno. The best brunch in town! Amazing cocktails, fresh food and friendly staff. Avoid Sunday mornings though, wait can be up to an hour and a half, during the week is perfect.
