Excellent food and service , I'm not from here I'm from Louisiana, tried some from down there and this changed my entire perspective of brisket I'm grateful for the experience.

When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello and patience while me and my wife decided what to eat and oh my goodness let me tell ya' Absolutely amazing, the brisket is everything you'd hope for and more. Choices are limited but what else do you need? Everything is amazing. Thank you two bros for feeding us :)

Firto pie, big bro sandwich, Mac and cheese

There's a certain poetry to Texas BBQ, smoke stained pits, picnic tables under oak trees, and sauce that's more religion than condiment. Two Bros BBQ gets the set dressing right. But like an indie film with a killer soundtrack and no plot, something just doesn't stick. The Big Bro Sandwich looks like a linebacker dared a pitmaster to dream bigger. Pulled pork, chopped brisket, sausage, and a hit of slaw stacked so high you need a game plan just to take the first bite. It's messy, rich, and hits like a smoked freight train but about halfway through, it turns into noise. No clear standout, just a meat medley in search of balance. A decent bite, sure, but it lacks the soul of a good brisket cut singing solo. Now the Frito Pie is nostalgia in a boat, but more like a dusty roadside diner remix than a hometown classic. A childhood favorite that showed up late, still it scratches that guilty itch, especially if you're already a few beers deep and not asking for much. 3 stars, because the place has charm, the smoke rings are real, and the kids running around chasing bubbles in the yard give it life. But if you're coming in looking for transcendence in a bite, keep driving. San Antonio's BBQ scene has deeper cuts.

This place is a GREAT place to bring your kids and hang out. We stopped in to pickup some food and my son immediately asked about the playground so we audibled and ate there. The big bro sandwich was awesome - 3 meats, pickles and slaw...just awesome. We also got the ribs, they were okay, a bit small...but then again, for $12 for a serving it's worth it. I didn't think anything was earth shatteringly good, but it was all solid or better for a great price at an awesome location. We will absolutely be back with friends and more kids so they can play.

I stopped by this place for lunch earlier this week, and it was a real delight. First time trying it out, and I was stoked to see grape Koolaid on the menu! The food was all pretty fantastic too. All the dishes were tasty, the meat was super tender, and the sides were all winners. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have inside & outside seating as well as a play area for the kiddos. I'll definitely be back, and you should totally check it out if you haven't yet! Ambiance of the establishment was very welcoming.

! I had a great experience with two brothers barbecue! I came into town. It was craving some Texas barbecue. This place delivered! It wasn't very busy the evening I went, the staff was super friendly. The food was amazing. I got the brisket, sausage, Flaw, and spicy cream, corn. As good as the meats were, corn is my favorite. Great barbecue in San Antonio. I hope I get to come back soon.

Looks good, but terrible tasting, the beef brisket has all fat parts, making me sick, unable to eat, also horrible service! Not coming back. Looks good, but terrible tasting, the beef brisket has all fat parts, making me sick, unable to eat, also horrible service! Not coming back.

Really good food! And the service is awesome. Would highly recommend this place if you want to eat in San Antonio

Their bbq was actually quite good. The smoky aroma and flavor were there with the brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was one of the best I have eaten. Side wise fried okra was pretty good, interesting that they made it with some moisture. The vinegar lettuce was terrible (I left it mostly), what the heck is that? Southern cuisine sometimes is unbearable. What I didn't like was that they were already running out of food at 8pm Friday, does kitchen close that early? I didn't get juicy but lean brisket, because it ran out (lean was also almost running out), and no more ribs, so I had to go with pulled pork. The place and location was almost not so nice, I thought that was typical San Antonio and it felt like in a bad part of town.

Two Bros. is my favorite TX bbq spot! It won me over from the moment we walked in. I am no bbq expert/connoisseur whatsoever but good (quality) food is good quality food. I recently had a new found appreciation for bbq while living in FL a few months ago, I attended a foodie event and met a bbq pit master. I learned a thing or two, mostly to appreciate the time and patience it takes to make good bbq (you can taste it). I prefer ribs over brisket but I usually get both. At Two Bros. my hubby and I ordered both the brisket and cherry glazed baby back ribs. For our sides we ordered Mac & cheese, coleslaw and stuffed jalapeños. The ribs and the Mac & cheese were the highlights for me! The consistency and viscosity of the cheese was exactly how I like my mac & cheese. I love that their side portions are the perfect single serving. The cherry glazed ribs were absolutely delicious but I would say a little less charbroil on the rib would maybe compensate and make the meat a little more juicy. Still absolutely delicious! The brisket was a bit dry for my liking but very flavorful. Coleslaw was ok. I prefer my coleslaw more finely chopped but the taste was good. The stuffed jalapeños are filled with cream cheese and wrapped in thick, crispy bacon. You get a delicious smoked taste in every bite. They have huge "Home Depot" jugs for their drinks (sweet tea, iced tea, lemonade) and they also have a pickle station which I love and appreciated! They have pickle chips, pickle chunks, pickled jalapeños & carrots and onions. Overall our experience here was fantastic! The service and ambiance are the epitome of southern hospitality! Pricing is very reasonable too! I Love everything about this place and I cannot wait to return!

Not too shabby of a BBQ place. The kids devoured cheesy Chop, which is a $9 pint of Mac and cheese and seasoned chopped beef. It's pretty good. The brisket was pretty good and they had a very good BBQ dressing bar, complete with pickles, spicy pickles, jalapeños and onions. The sausage was okay. It was well priced, and maybe not as seasoned as I have had at other places. Liz wasn't too impressed with the strawberry cobbler. It wasn't well balanced and the strawberry was bitter. 10% discount for military and first responders. Service was good. You order at the front and pick up/pay at another counter. We went later in the evening, so we kept the food and experience indoors. There is an outdoor patio that looks like it would be enjoyable during the warmer days. Plenty of mature oaks to keep the shade. I like the BBQ and beer decor they have around the interior. I will come back to try out some more meats.

We'd been wanting to go here since we first got to SA. We're here temporarily and I drove by this place a few months back and added it to our "To Try" food list . We finally went and were not disappointed! Time: We went after some time at the DSP range around 12:30pm on a Sunday. There were some folks there inside and out but we were in and out relatively quiet and quick. Vibe: We would've eaten in but we needed to get back home to our pups. The set up both indoors and outdoors is nice! Could definitely see getting a group together to eat here in the Spring. Service: The folks who work there remind me of southern folk from outside of TX (if you know you know). They were the best part of our experience right next to the food! Funny, friendly, and human. Food: Listen, I don't know what some of these folks reviewing here were experiencing or expecting but we loved the BBQ. I've been really disappointed living in Texas (going on 2.5 years) because the BBQ in other parts of the south is so much better. Part of the experience includes sides and service. This was the first time that we had BBQ that didn't underwhelm. I actually considered coming back here for dinner! It was well cooked, flavorful, and paired well with the sides they offered. This is the kind of BBQ place we are used to I'm talkin' about NC, SC, TN, Bama. A little shack with country decor and bomb meat. Order: 1/2 lb Turkey 3 Sausage links 1 order Smoked Stuffed Jalapeños Pint Mac N Cheese Pint Coleslaw Side BBQ Beans (finally somewhere that serves them sweet like they should be!) Pickles (y'all they give you a container to fill up) We'll be back!

Hubby was feeling like having BBQ, so we headed to @twobrosbbqmarket for lunch today. It was the first time for Dad and I to try. It was the perfect weather to enjoy lunch outdoors! We ordered the BBQ Starter Kit, which came with 1/2 lb brisket, 1/2 lb pulled pork, 1/2 lb ribs, 1 sausage, 2 chicken thighs, and 2 sides. The sides we chose were creamed corn, and potato salad. Both were awesome! Unfortunately, most of the meat were on the dry side. The bonus is that Two Brothers is part of the San Antonio Gold Diner's Program. We got the free banana pudding! Great Texas style BBQ similar in experience to the BBQ joints in Austin. The brisket was particularly good.

For a starter we shared the cornbread with another couple and it was plenty for 4 people. If you are from out of town and looking for some Texas-shaped vittles or just want something substantial to stretch your meal I recommend it! Very tasty and filling. For my main I had the scallops with creamed corn risotto. It was a dainty portion but the flavors were nice. My husband had the short rib tagliatelle which he loved. It was very rich and filling. We had the buttermilk pie again for dessert and this time it tasted sweeter than I remembered. It was good but we couldn't finish it. Idk if it was my tastebuds or if it was different. Checked Yelp for dinner suggestions so Doc drove us to the paid lot next to where all the Cinderella lit up carriages drawn by horses were lined up. It seemed the boats going up and down the River portion of the Walk were busier. While we were walking I had my eyes open for a table with a view. We stopped at Four Brothers. The receptionist went over suggestions on the menu on her outdoor podium. Cornbread in the shape of Texas, shareable items like Dino ribs for $82, plus Pork Shank and ice tea completed our order. Everyone was very friendly. We had an exceptional view and we had more than enough food that we had to ask for take out boxes. My favorite was the Mac & cheese though I'm usually not a fan. This dish used cork screw shaped pasta and it was moist and not stuck together. I had to share a photo of it with Sweetie who is in Tokyo right now. Doc liked the pimento for the cornbread. As it was almost 9 pm we decided to pass on the boat ride but just walk on the other side with shops and more eateries. We're back on the road again tomorrow to Arizona.
