The sauce...the flavors...the brisket! It's so hard to type when you're stuffing your face with good food but here we are. Service was great! Who doesn't like a local hidden gem. This could very well be the best BBQ sausages I've ever had. Tastes like brown sugar honey but not too sweet!

True, the smell is good, the taste is better!

The cook said this is the best turkey leg you will ever eat. I said, ok.... Wow, he was right! Its perfectly seasoned & the meat falls apart. I didnt even need bbq sauce, forget about it! The place is a little truck, but the food is superb! Cash only! Come get some!

My brother-in-law has been a chef for many years and he knows his restaurants. Whenever I travel for work, he sends me on foodie trips so I get the opportunity to try the best of the best wherever I may be. I was in San Antonio a few weeks ago, and when I asked him where I should go, without hesitation he told me to go to Smith's Bar-B-Que on Hobart St. Keith was super friendly, the service was fantastic, the food was amazing, the neighbors were great, the prices are right. You really can't beat Smith's Bar-B-Que, if you're in San Antonio, you don't want miss it!!

Food was fantastic! found this place on Google maps before landing in san antonio and man! If you like great bbq at affordable prices make the trip you won't regret it... to begin everything was perfectly smoked and tender i got the 4 meat combo and at just 18$ I was more than satisfied. The potato salad and bbq beans were a great addition to the ribs, chicken, brisket and sausage followed with 2 slices of texas toast and a sweet tea for 2$ it was the best 20 dollars I've ever spent at any bbq place thus far! I will definitely be returning if in the san antonio area. Place is small and nothing fancy but they do offer seating not sure if a huge party would work but grab n go is always an option either way go try it if you love bbq!

This is my kind of hole-in-the-wall place. Blink and you will drive past this food truck. Luckily the smoke and smell of barbecued meats will point you in the right direction. The owner, Keith, has been cooking barbecue for approximately 10 years and it shows in the quality of food he serves. And did I mention how inexpensive it is. I got a 4 meat plate with two sides for $15. So much food it made two meals. Keith mentioned he may be moving locations soon so it's best to give him a call.

Trekking the abysmal unworthy marxis of disgenuinely definitive Texas barbeque, finally I have reached a profound discovery. And it only took me a decade to find. After doing some work in the area, I smelled a faint aroma of hickory notes waft idyllicly through the air. I looked around me, curious what a profound eatery could be doing in this bustling warehouse district I had befallen. Lo' and behold, my senses didn't deceive me! Just across the way was a barbecue cart! The smell waned and drew me in. After venturing over, I noticed a plentiful selection of shaded dining areas. The mobile eatery was intricately adorned with several tempting selections. Of course, I chose the meat lovers, because the smell was undauntedly euphoric. Then commenced the symphonic crescendo: An absolution of tenderly, moist, juicy, pieces of incredibly cooked, carefully seasoned arrays of delicious cuts of enormity. The pitmaster was exuberantly generous in his gift of sharing this culinary delight of the smoked sort. My favorite was a tie with the ribs and the chicken. The cartilage; connective tissue, as well as the fat had cooked to the perfect temp that causes it's gristly and toughness to soften to a succulent buttery state. I could bite through all of my cuts of meat with simplicity. No toughness was present in this plate. Complete utter knowledge, skill, and intense passion of what makes for an excellent pit master. Keith has surpassed that, and I can attest to his incredible understanding and great skill. Dessert is a must, too. The strawberry shortcake is a palate pleasing rendition of completing a phenomenal meal. I've never been so impressed with barbeque as I have today in San Antonio. Thanks for the unforgettable experience, Smiths's BBQ!!

Two meat plate with creamed corn and green beans. The ribs and brisket were so tender with a smoky flavor that wasn't overpowering. I need to go back for more of that sweet BBQ sauce. Owner is so friendly and the food was ready pretty quickly.

It's often difficult for me to find a near consistent Vietnamese food place around my area but when my friend introduced me to this lovely place I was thrilled. Now it is my favorite food stop I enjoy going to whenever I get the opportunity. Usually I come to Boba Pho U for the Bánh mì which they never disappoint when it comes to deliciousness. They are always considerate when I ask for my veggies on the side and for my food to be sliced in half. The service is very efficient and always makes sure to get exactly what I want. This time I decided to try something different than I usually do since they were out of Bánh mì which is rare but I didn't mind at all and decided to try the Pork Rice Place. As to be expected the food was top notch and tasted amazing and was perfect with the Nước mấm sauce that was provided! The veggies were also very fresh and tasted perfect. The only time I've had an issue was when I ordered my Bánh mì, I asked for my veggies on the side and did not receive my pickled carrots. This was a one time thing and i'm sure they forgot but it was something I just wanted to add! That one time mistake doesn't change the way I feel about this place it's still amazing. I highly recommend you come here to try out this underrated food truck at least once! You wouldn't want to miss out on their delicious menu and variety of boba drinks!

I had not seen them since last year. Tonight I got the Mac and cheese. So wonderfully rich and decadent. Definitely not your box of Kraft. Made with 7 different cheeses and topped with Cheeze-Its for crunch. So much complexity and so smooth and comforting. This will change your perception of mac and cheese forever. I also tried the fried chicken balls. Roasted chicken and risotto with spices that give a little bite, rolled into a ball then deep fried in a funnel cake batter. A nice sweet dipping sauce is provided that just makes it complete. Update: I tried the chicken livers and oysters, bahn mi style OMG!!! So very good. The livers and oysters fried to perfection in a light crispy batter. Then everything topped with fresh bahn mi style vegetables. The chicken livers were the best I have ever had. Crunchy on the outside and so smooth on the inside. I could eat these livers by the bucket. Head to Tapa Tapa and see what they have created today. I think you'll be happy you did.
