Driving down Ajo, you'd never guess there's great Indian food inside a Chevron gas station. The only hint is a small sign that simply says "Indian Food." I ordered through DoorDash--Curry Chicken, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and a Mango Lassi--and everything was delicious. The Butter Chicken especially stood out with its rich tandoori-flavored sauce that was perfectly sweet, savory, and buttery. The staff were very friendly, greeting me with a smile right away, and the service was impressively quick. The dining area was spotless, which is especially nice considering it's located inside a gas station. I just discovered this place, and it's definitely one I'll be coming back to for tasty, comforting Indian food.

Its in Chevron on Ajo, next to In n Out, across from 'Canes. Ambiance/Cleanliness-It's nice..tables set up, they bring you the food, easy to forget you are in a gas station....4 stars Service-excellent. I needed nothing, but if i had, the would have been on it. 5 stars Food-The wings were disappointingly bland ...and lacked texture. Vegetable samosas were on point. 3 stars

Liked it so much that I came back a week later. Solid food renditions. Nothing fancy, good food. Fast service. Nice service. It's attached to a Wyndham but is much better than you'd think a hotel restaurant would be. When I'm back in the area I will visit again.

One of the BEST food experiences I've had in a while ! This local favorite thrives on word of mouth business and offers up some delicious flavors . Inconspicuously tucked away inside chevron gas station ( who knew ?!) A variety of spice levels can be accommodated no problem . Plenty of Vegan & Vegetarian options . Tucson is full of Gems and this is definitely one of them . When you stop in make sure to take a moment and get to know Owner , Raj . He's an absolute pleasure .

Expectations were low since i was at gas station. I cant begin to describe how flavorful my food was. My naan was warm and fluffy, the masala was seasoned to perfection and my samosas were moist and delicious. I just learned that great food can come out of the most surprising places!! 10/10 recommend!

If you're looking for fresh delicious spicy yet extremely flavorful food Twisted Indian is the place for you! Located within in the Chevron gas station on Ajo right off the exit, you may think a gas station, yes & it's amazing clean seating area welcoming & friendly staff. Food prepared fresh & to order allowing you to select your spice level. The chicken Tikka Masala was some of the best I've had in town. Don't forget the tasty garlic naan Looking forward to returning to try a lot more of there entrees

I honestly wasn't expecting much. I came here on my lunch break. They give discounts to medical professionals and a few others that I can't recall. There is space to seat down but of course you are in a gas station so there's some in and out traffic. The service was polite and quick. They accept call in orders and orders for large groups. Great during the lunch hour. They gave me two utensils but one was opened. They also gave me two plates and I greatly appreciated that. The food was very good. The chicken was fantastic and full of flavor and garlic naan was very tasty.

I have a list for places in Tucson with good Indian food and Twisted Indian is now on that list! So, it's in a gas station right off the westbound I-10 ramps for Ajo. I think that's hilarious, but there is no funny business about the food and service. There are a few tables set up and after you order at the counter they will bring the food right to your table. While we were eating, we saw quite a few to-go orders being placed and lots of phone-in and meal delivery service orders, too. The menu is just the right size, though I was disappointed to not see korma, but the Vegetable Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Biryani, Roti, Garlic Naan, Raita, and Kadai Paneer that we had were spot on and tasted wonderful. I especially liked the MangoLassi and I don't typically enjoy mango flavored anything. Put your reservations aside and step into this Indian Restaurant cleverly disguised as a gas station!

And here it is! Twisted Indian is worth a trip!

Indian food in a gas station? In Tucson?!?!! YES! I haven't had food like this since Mati's Express shut down. Great selection of items and LOTS of options for vegetarians. Lunch for 3 with an appetizer, roti/naan and three entrees was $80. And plenty of leftovers for at least two more meals. We had Chicken Tikka Massala, Chani Massala and Shahai Paneer. Flavors were rich and the portions large. The Roti and Naan were on the oily side, I'd probably stick with the rice next time. We ordered the chani massala spicy and it was delicious. Right in the sweet spot of kick and flavor. Mint and tamarind chutneys, not spicy, were available on request. You can buy your choice of beverage from the Chevron. Not the fanciest meal or location, but the food was so good I dug in before pictures.

I went here (with my co- foodie) on lunch Tuesday and I must say, this place is decent. We tried two chicken recipes, a fruity drink and hot chai for me. The servers were courteous and happy. Considering it is located inside a Chevron gas station (a first for me), the ambiance is acceptable at best. I came for the food! Check out my pics. Give them a try. What do you have to lose? 4.4 stars!

Well, I don't drink soda often, I like to have a spicy drink to wash down my food on occasion and so we got a spray that we slowly slipped. Although the service was very kind, and the woman were great, the one thing that I will say is, it took us quite a long time to get service for things and we often found ourselves getting up and walking over to ask for help.

Good service & homemade food make a meal even better & the experience of eating here is relaxing, unhurried! We like the background music & the modern interior. The 2 women who seem to always be working are super! We've taken friends and family & never had a bad meal. Tandoori chicken, or shrimp are both very good. I've had the Rogan Josh, the Tikka Masala, the Butter Chicken, the roti with butter, dal, saag, naan, cocktails (nicely shaken and good quality), beer, samosas, dum biriyani (oh my!), raita and recently I had the forearm-sized, fermented crispy crepe like Masala Dosa! Wow. I had their takeout, but because of the nice sit down service, we normally dine in. The spice levels are customizable on most items & a 7 or 8 has got some zip to it, without being overwhelming. Today they offered 2 lunch specials plus their normal menu. For $12.99 you get rice and your choice of curry type dishes & naan.
