When I lived in the Broad Ripple area Twenty Tap was one of my favorite places to go! I went back over the weekend and I remember why I love this place so much! Not only do they have a great rotating beer list, their food is delicious as well! I love their cheese curds, mac and cheese, and the veggie burger (they make the patty in house!) The staff is always helpful in recommending beers. They always are happy to give samples as well, which is an added bonus! I usually get a flight while I'm there because they always have more than a handful of beers I haven't tried. I also love that they brew some beers in house. I love their sour raspberry beer. I love the atmosphere as well. They have a couple t.vs and it's one of the few places that have dart boards. It's hard to play sometimes, because it's in the bar area, but usually there is enough room to make sure you don't poke someone's eye out. In the warmer months I'd take my dogs and sit outside. The staff is always great about bringing a dog bowl for them as well. Overall, this is one of my favorite Broad Ripple bars because the beer, food, atmosphere and staff are great! read more

Hands down favorite place to go to in the broad ripple area. This is our go to place. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Can't beat it!

My burger and the homemade coleslaw were very good. But if you're conservative and believe that not using straws or only getting a paper straw if you ask for one is a turn off, you won't want to go here. The owner told me she has many people that come there just because she uses paper straws. What about saving trees? LOL read more

I love this place!!!!!! Now i normally will be found there for lunch on Tuesdays which is $3.50 pint days. Great beer on tap, in fact its 36 taps. The beer list changes day to day, depending on how quickly they can get thru it, so help out people! The food is great, in fact good enough to slap your momma good. I would have to say any burger, that you order will more than keep you tummy not screaming for food for a while. The side i always get is the fries that coming with a very tasty herb dressing. Also you need to try out the curry mushrooms. The bar staff, Tracy, Jenny, Trish are i believe what makes this place. How is it possible I've never reviewed 20 tap? It's our favorite bar/restaurant in the city. It's the place we compare all other bar food against. It is harder to get seated quickly now that we have a baby in tow, but if we get there early, it's fine. Their food is excellent, and there's something for everyone on the menu. The service is reliably good, and we've never left anything other than satisfied. My top picks: the curds with the siracha aoili, the brussel sprouts, the buffalo cauliflower, the breakfast burger, and the turkey burger. THE FRIES. ALWAYS GET THE FRIES. They blow hopcat's "crack" fries out of the water. They have a fantastic beer selection and portions are excellent. The great craft beer selection plus what they usually make on site makes this place of my favorites. The food is delicious as well. I'm a big fan of their mac & cheese. Additionally, they have sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. They also have weekly specials, like pad thai noodles with shrimp. I've never had a problem with service and prices are on par for the quality of food. The only thing you can complain about is that it gets crowded in the evenings and weekends. read more

This was my first time eating here and I have to say, what an awesome place! The beer/cider selection is amazing, and their food was great. The poutine we ordered for a starter was the best I've had since being in Canada. The group I was with ordered shrimp and grits, a spicy chicken sandwich, and I ordered the Cuban. After shopping in Broadripple, we decided to grab a burger here. We were tempted by baskets filled with battered cheese curds being delivered to nearby tables so we ordered them. We also got an order of pretzels with beer cheese and another condiment (it wasn't memorable). The cheese curds were delicious and addictive. The soft pretzels were perfect with the beer cheese but were a little too salty. For the entree we all got burgers, one cheeseburger, one with fried egg and one with blue cheese. We all were pretty happy with our meal. The burgers only come medium, I would actually say they are more well done and I prefer mine pink in the middle but it was tasty. Amazing. This place had an extensive list of beers at very reasonable prices! I ordered the Short Rib Grilled Cheese with a side of tomato soup. Iam normally not a vegan fan but twenty tap's dishes take the cake! Aka they take the carrot! Vegan, gluten free, vegetarian; they can cater to any dietary restriction or preference. I prefer vegetarian sometimes and I am not an everyday vegetarian. The buffalo cauliflower wings were impeccable! I love the vegan tateki! I don't even think that's how you spell it. I was so excited to finally eat here! I'd bookmarked it a while ago based off of the great looking veg options. Twenty Tap didn't disappoint! We went on a Sat around 1 and only had to wait about twenty minutes for a table. The place was packed and the music was loud (too loud for the middle of the day, but not annoying enough to drop a star). I went with two other people. We split the fries with vegan ztakziki and curried ketchup AND the buffalo cauliflower as appetizers. My wife and I ordered sandwiches to split with one another and each chose pimiento mac and cheese as our side. The mac and cheese was so completely awesome. We got the vegan banh mi and the veggie melt as sandwiches. Though we were too stuffed to eat them there, they were still fantastic later on. The beer selection was also wonderful. So dang good. The place itself is really cute and has lots of cool art on the walls. The food? Freaking delicious. I got the short rib grilled cheese. My two favorite things, combined!! I was not disappointed at all. I got it with fries which were also delicious. My boyfriend got the "beast" burger and it was huge! He obviously enjoyed it, because he ate the entire thing before I even got to try a bite of it lol. His aunt got a salad with blackened salmon on it and really enjoyed that as well. My love for Twenty Tap is loud and long. Food is great, service is friendly. I do wish there was more space inside (non-Covid times) - it can get way too loud and crowded. Post-Covid we have eaten outside once right when they opened and had plenty of space and were happy with how careful staff were. I have since heard that the sidewalk gets really crowded with people waiting, so we took food to go most recently. My husband misses the wrath burger though! read more

The ambiance of Twenty Tap is so laid back and fun to casually hang out at! We had lunch - I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich wit mac and cheese and it did not disappoint! The sandwich was perfect, and the mac and cheese was unique, and still so good. Plenty of food-you will be stuffed when you leave. They also serve homemade pickles...which for pickle lovers is wonderful - they are also delicious. Great place to grab a bit to eat and great beer selection. I also loved that they had a ton of cider options. I am not gluten free but this is a big advantage for those who are. I had the salad - which was AMAZING! I love a good salad but the roasted veggies on this one were over roasted or mushy. I loved that it had asparagus on it too. If are a cider lover like me - they have some great dry cider options. The dry ciders don't have that sweet soda taste some of the more commercially available ciders do. This is great place to expand your drinking experiences and try something new! It was super busy shortly after we got there (about 6:30 on a Saturday) so just expect that you might have to wait for a table. read more

This is a great place to eat and drink on a summer night with Outside covered seating. Our table was a metal picnic table, so if you want comfier seating, eat inside. Our server was excellent; she was efficient and friendly and had great product knowledge of the beers and the food menu items., the food was outstanding. I highly recommend the Cauliflower "wings" and Brussel sprouts appetizers. I had the Smoked Turkey Club salad and my son in law ordered the pork bowl. There was enough for both of us to have leftovers for our lunches the following day and the Togo containers were cardboard and not styrofoam!! Go Green! They love the planet and I loved this place. I will shout it from the rooftops "WELCOME BACK TWENTY TAP". Hallelujah they are open again! If you want a great selection of beer and cider with food that makes your belly happy and is vegetarian friendly topped off with the best and friendliest service then you need, no you MUST go to Twenty Tap. I have been to this restaurant more times than I care to admit. The beer, both draught and bottle, are incredible and the selection is large. I always find a more things I want to try than my liver will allow. The food is phenomenal. The burgers are delicious. The Brussels sprouts are the only ones I'll ever eat without bacon. However their crowning glory is the shrimp and grits. I can't write about the shrimp and grits without my month watering. It is the perfect meal anyone but especially on a cold rainy day. The shrimp are plump and filling. The grits are cheesy and creamy. The sauce has a nice kick to it but works so well. Great atmosphere, great spot, great beer, and most importantly delicious food! I do not know how I have not been to Twenty Tap before, but I'm glad somebody finally dragged me along to it. I have been to Fat Dan's right next door and the Fresh Market across the street numerous times. We had about a 30 minute wait on a Sunday night, but it was during the NFL playoff games and their bar area is a good place to hangout and wait for your table. First off, they obviously have 20 beer taps, as well as wine and bottled beer. The pint of the day was their house dubbel and it was actually really good. Not quite Taxman's quality of a dubbel, but then again that is their thing. The price of $3.50 a pint was great though and I enjoyed their beer. I was surprised that they brewed beer in-house and I will have to go back and try more. The food was top notch for a brewpub. Our groups tarted out with the cheese curds with the chimichurri and garlic dipping sauces. Really, the curds did not need to be dipped, they were tasty on their own. We didn't use much of the dipping sauces and actually saved them for dipping the seasoned fries into with our main course. Our group got a couple of the Tex burgers and the Blue Cheese Burger (I can't remember the name), but they were both good! I personally had the Tex and like it better than the blue cheese. It is a messy burger so be warned, but messiness is goodness in this case. The BBQ oozed out of the bun, and the onion rings and provolone paired very well. Awesome burger! The service was quick, friendly, and helpful. Our server asked what kind of beers we were into and gave his recommendations for us to try. Was excited to try this place, especially since people rant and rave about the cheese curds. Expected much more of a sports bar vibe, so I was surprised at the lack of TVs. The one on the bar side is gigantic, but we were on the dining side. There's one TV (much smaller than the other one), but it served its purpose. We obviously started with the cheese curds and they did not disappoint. They have an abundance of sauces to choose from, but we finally chose the ranch and French onion. Both very good. As for the cheese curds...I mean, they're fried pieces of cheese. Very tasty. For my entree, I chose the southern crispy sandwich. The server recommended getting the hot sauce on the side, and I was SO THANKFUL I listened. I like spicy stuff as much as the next person but that stuff was HOT. Unless it comes with a vat of ranch and a couple gallons of water, I wouldn't be able to get my sandwich covered in that. Overall, really enjoyed my experience. It's a good option and is almost a top notch experience. The beer selection is excellent and the prices are fair. While simple, the beer menu does one thing that you would expect to be standard yet isn't -- they list the style of beer. I hate wondering whether the Flying Trapeze Magic Unicorn is an ale, an IPA, a stout... or any clue as to what it is. Here, if you like pilseners, you can just pick one out from the list. While this would appear to be a local brewery bar, the food is excellent. There are a couple of burgers with "fried egg" that is actually an over-easy egg. Had I known that, I would have changed from my still-excellent Spicy Cuban. So what holds back the 5th star? The interior decor looks like this is an unfinished project. The interior has that 1970s VFW feel to it where it is more a bunch of guys getting together rather than a modern food service establishment. The other thing is the customer service. Again, perhaps old-school dive bar is the motif but it's not with the times. Anyway, I would definitely return and encourage others to check it out. read more

Twenty Tap Tuesday is something that should be screamed from the top of your lungs every time you wake up on a Tuesday morning. On Tuesday nights, all pints of local draft beer are only $3.50 (which includes the tax). I was completely and utterly astonished by this. I went with a few friends and I didn't quite believe them when they talked up this bar so much. They have everything from Flat 12, to Brugge, to Sun King, to Fountain Square, to Peoples, and everything in between. The menu is huge and you will want to stay here all night to just drink as many delicious beers as you can. I enjoyed a Fountain Square chocolate stout, a Peoples imperial IPA, and a Tank 7. I could have spent all day here. The atmosphere is wonderful. It reminds me of a smaller Chumley's, a little more intimate, and way less sporty. Punks, men and women in business casual, and just regular Joes like me came to enjoy pints of delicious local beer and join in comradery with one another. The staff is amazing and friendly, and don't even get me started on the food. It's all amazing. They have vegan dishes, meaty dishes, and dishes that you wouldn't imagine being available at a bar. Brats, burgers, fries, and vegetarian sandwiches floated around our tables as sounds of food pleasure filled the air. Twenty Tap closes around 11pm throughout the week, which I think is a unique and perfect time for the crowd that comes here--men and women looking for great drinks and food with friends after a long day at work. read more

The food is great, the beer is great, the bathrooms were average. They were designated male and female, but could have easily been made unisex to maximize efficiency. There was a plunger and toilet brush in the room which is much appreciated, i often need their help. The soap, dryer, sink, and lights were all manual.
