I came across this store which was filled with a lot of eye catching toys and crafts, we decided to make a keychain which was $30 for maybe 20 beads on a wire that connects to your phone. The keychain broke right when we left the store, we went back and they fixed it. The keychain just broke again the next day. I called the store for a refund or at-least store credit, they told me the manager kimmy would give me a call back and she never did. We had such a great experience thanks to Vanessa (I think that was her name)! She was incredibly sweet, patient, and helpful during the entire 3 hours we were there. From guiding us through the candle-making process to helping us decorate our art piece, she made everything easy and enjoyable. Vanessa checked in on us regularly, answered all our questions, and offered so much helpful advice. It's clear she really knows her stuff. Well what a fun way to learn something new! Leilani did a fantastic job coaching me on using the rug tufting machine, and gave helpful insights and pointers. Although it was my first time making a rug, I feel satisfied I am walking away with a project I will enjoy for a very long time. Was a fun experience for my daughter but the workers weren't particularly helpful. They didn't really explain anything so we were lost and had to figure out things ourselves. Sarah in particular made the experience unpleasant. First she didn't want to help us sit together after we had already talked to a coworker who said it wouldn't be a problem. Then one worker told me I only had to wait 10-15 minutes for them to use the heat gun to finish my daughter's project but Sarah claimed they were busy with other projects (they weren't) and I would have to wait half an hour. Then she moved one of the pieces as she was curing it and it was crooked. She claimed I must have done it. I didn't want to argue and just accepted it and left. If I had more time more time, I probably would have asked for a manager but I didn't. Wouldn't recommend coming unless you know how to craft on your own. read more

Someone shared this brand new location on IG so I decided to take my 6 year old here today to check it out. Located next to the candy store, and in-between the Ferris wheel and carousel it's in a good spot at the Irvine Spectrum. We got there almost right after they had opened and we were the only ones there. I told my kiddo she could make a bracelet or keychain and she opted for the bracelet. The salesperson showed us some samples of bracelets and showed us the large selection of beads. There are some that are included in the bracelet price and some that are extra charge. My kiddo picked out a ton of colorful beads and we sat down at a table to get started. They give you a tray to sort and arrange the beads in the way you'd like to thread them. They set up the strings for us and showed us how to get started. Then my kid got bored :/ and I ended up making the bracelet for her lol. I had fun anyway. It seems like a really fun experience, I think 6 is a little young for this place. Maybe in another year. She mentioned she wanted to paint a keychain next time. The bracelet did turn out really cute, and she loved wearing it all day. Prices are a little high for my liking but the store is in Irvine and you're paying for the experience and an item. The employee working was very friendly and helpful. Very clean place. I will definitely be back with my kid when she is a little older to appreciate the experience more. read more

This was a terrible experience. First of all there was nobody available to help me for my appointment, but a gem working with a few other groups, Krystal, was able to help me get started. She and a few other employees are the only reason this is two stars and not one star. After Krystal got me started, I was able to get the hang of it pretty quickly, she came to check on my group periodically, but I didn't want to bother her too much because she was always pretty swamped. It seemed like they were severely understaffed and each worker had to jump around to so many groups. I didn't get her name but one of the employees ( I assume the manager) was very rude to my friend and I who wanted to pay for blind boxes. We went in line and she was behind the counter talking to an employee giving her tasks. We didn't want to interrupt so we waited for a while but she just kept talking to the employee and ignoring us. Eventually she stops talking and she very rudely turns and says "Can I help you with anything else" Mind you she hasn't assisted us once while in the store which was fine but like ?? I tell her we want to pay for the blind boxes and she says "Give it to me then" as if we were the biggest inconvenience ever and snatches it out of my hand. My friend and I decided to not buy the blind boxes while being "helped" as that interaction really threw us off. I don't really write reviews but that employee really pmo. I noticed others have had a similar experience with maybe the same person as well. Other than that everyone else has been really nice whenever I go to that store. read more

I went with my brother to Irvine Spectrum when we came across Tutu Fun. We have never been to a store like this before, but the employee Joshie (the one with dyed hair) helped us out. She was great at explaining what classes they had and how the classes worked. She was super friendly and patient. Even after, she continued to show us around and tell us about the store as a whole.
