Great experience if you find yourself visiting or near the Camp plaza. My sister head about it from tiktok and we stopped by after lunch. For a Saturday afternoon it didn't seem too busy when we arrived, but it quickly did get busier. Each booth had their own lines that move quickly, the waiting is for developing of the pics which was about 3 minutes per photo. The photos themselves were so cute! Very vintage feel for the b&w and more modern for the colored pics!
Came on a Saturday around 4:30pm, parking is tough but found a spot in the parking lot in front of Booth By Bryant. No lines, staff were super kind to give us a breakdown on pricing and types of booths, even walking us to his recommended first booth to try. $5 for analog and $4 for digital prints, they take Apple Pay. Takes 3 minutes to print, but be careful they are still drying when they come out. The booths are tiny, managed to fit a group a 3 but that's definitely max capacity. Definitely recommend having poses ready to go or even bringing some props for added fun. Definitely a great time and lots a laughs!
A cute little spot near The Camp in Costa Mesa! It's essentially a giant room with a variety of photo booths along the inside walls. There's both black-and-white photo booths and a selection of colored ones with fun backdrops. The procedure is pretty standard: tap your phone/card to pay for the booth and get ready to snap some pictures! It helps to adjust the seat inside and maybe practice some poses (I'm admittedly not the most creative with posing, haha). It's $5 per photo strip, and you get 4 poses. The colored ones come out horizontal, and the B&W ones are vertical. They all take some time to develop before the machine spits them out. The B&W ones take a little longer so it might feel a bit awkward waiting around for it, but it helps to go and try out some of the other booths. One thing I will say is that the booths themselves are pretty cramped. It took a bit of maneuvering for my boyfriend and I to fit in the booth and make sure we were both visible in the photos. Nevertheless, this is such a fun date idea or friend group activity!!
The staff are very nice and friendly. My kids and I really like the booths. However, it takes a long time to print. And the ink in some booths are light and blurry. Hopefully they will check the booths and refill the inks more often. We will definitely come back to take more pictures :)
This place is soo cool! It's all photo booths. There are about 15-20. The wait was short. The photo booths were between $4 & $5. They were so fun with so many different styles/backgrounds.
I didn't know this place existed until I went to the camp and I explored the backside of Ahba. Booth by Bryant used to be a pop-up single Photo Booth @ the Lab couple months ago and now they have a permanent space at the camp. The line was not too long on a weekend morning, with two people working in the front. There are a vintage black-and-white option or colorful option. There are many backdrops to choose from. The process is super simple. You either pay with card or tap with Apple Pay. The only thing is after you pay you have to sit immediately after because they will start taking pictures of you. It takes a total of four flashes without warning so in between the shots is about five seconds. Make sure you know which facial expressions and poses you were going to do. If you're prepared, you will be successful. The photos take about 3 to 5 minutes to come out, but it feels like forever. But I guess that's the beauty of the Photo Booth. :)
OMG I've haven't experienced lines here..... but today there was a line..... guess it's becoming more popular. We waited 25min to get in. (There is new photo booths since my last visit) according to the employee they are more popular and there was more lines inside. Especially if you were interested in the new ones. In total we were inside for 2hrs 3min. My kid wanted to try the new booths of course. So we took longer Super fun pics tho. See ya next time.. And we still need to try one more but I was done to the day. LOL
I decided to stop by the photo booths that are located in Day-to-Day Collective down in Little Italy. I had an idea for birthday pictures and Christian helped me out tremendously. He was on standby with all of my props and helped me swap them out in time to take the pictures. He was so nice and I will definitely be back again because of the experience!

It can get busy in there depending on the day and location as I've heard there are other sites like this one. $4 per 4 phot strip is reasonable so that you can try various styles.

How it works: When you first arrive, there is a door with all the photobooth background options. The workers will have you choose one to start. -Once you start with your initial choice, you can hop around different photobooths. There is like 15-20 to choose from! -There are some vintage photobooths, some black and white, colorful, hearts, and digital options! The digital options can be uploaded to your phone via QR code. Pricing: Super affordable! Each photobooth is around $4-$5! ;) Ambiance: Sometimes they'll have house music bumping in the corner, which is such a fun vibe! I posted some photos below!
The price is definitely cheaper compared to the SF photobooths. At $5/strip for the vintage looking ones with a plain, heart, or star background. $10 for color ones. 4 poses per strip I think they do a great job with crowd control, not making the space inside feel too packed. The employee who was working did a great job explaining the process (since it was my first time) about adjusting the height on the stool, making sure you're in the frame by seeing your reflection, and giving us a warning on how quickly the photos get taken. My issue is that people are hogging the booths waiting for their pictures to come out not realizing the booths can be used once the green light is on. They just sit on the stool instead of allowing others to use it and I know this because the curtains aren't even closed for privacy. Realistically it should only take 30-60 seconds to get the photos taken but what takes so long is the developing process. What I did was take a photo at one booth then when another booth opened up took photos there, etc. and then went back to the first booth in 3 mins once they were done printing. That way I'm not wasting my time standing and waiting. Efficient use of my time. It's great that they have Apple Pay and a holder for the phone. They also have a parking lot (but it does get full) and street parking. They also offer $2 digital scans. Overall a fun experience.
Such a fun photo booth spot!!! I absolutely love photo booth pics and it's the perfect activity to do with a loved one or even by yourself. Went with my partner around 3pm on a Tuesday and there was quite a line, but we waited no longer than 15 mins. They have a few diff background options to choose from and we opted for the plain white and the pics turned out amazing! It's $5 per photo strip and the photos click very fast once the payment is accepted, but once you get the groove, it's so much fun and super cute! I'll definitely be back
A must when you're in the area, out with friends and want to photograph the moment with a photo strip. Note may be hard to include may people into the picture frame but these booths are so worth the wait. You can also do them solo. Been here a couple of times now and when I heard they were giving out free iPhone SEs to promote the 2016 SE booth, I had to check it out! read more
I was in the area and decided to come with a friend and try this place out! Parking is limited, we were lucky and someone was leaving so we snagged a spot. But, depending on when you go, you might need to do a few laps around the block to find a spot. When we went, it wasn't super crowded. There are so many photo booth options. You line up for the photo booth that you desire. Maybe max 2-3 groups in front of us, but it goes by so fast. I would say max 5 min wait per booth. They have digital booths which print instantly and have a QR code so you can save the pictures digitally. And they have vintage booths which take 2-5 minutes to print and there is no digital copy. Be prepared! Once you pay, it takes your pictures so quick. Each booth also has a slot for you to put your phone to record. The people managing the place were nice. You line up at the door, and they ask which booth you want to go to first. They will guide you to the booth. After that, you can go to whichever line you want. There are sooo many options. Digital booth was $4/session/1 strip only. Vintage was $6/session/1 strip only. I highly recommend this place as a quick and fun activity for those who enjoy photo booths! read more
I'm from the Bay Area and stopped by OC for a quick trip, and this honestly was one of my highlights of my trip. $5 flat rate for bomb looking photo-booth pics??? YES PLEASE!!!! Located inside far back of a warehouse looking plaza. Pro tip: -Upon arrival, do possibly expect a line. -Make sure you have your pose ideas ready! -Don't forget to do your touch ups! They do have mirrors and some photo-booths have phone stands if you want to practice your pose or look at yourself -Make sure you prep your photo booth station (ie: Chair height, background as some have curtains for plain background despite the default patterns) -They accept tap / cash QUALITY: 10/10 I'm obsessed with their selection and styles. So unique and made me feel so nostalgic. Instructions are displayed next to the camera. The stools can be adjusted based on your height. You only get 1 photo strip and it takes 3 mins to print. The strips do come out a bit wet so make sure you don't mess with it. They dry up quickly! They have Black and White and Color options. The backgrounds were very cute, like stars, hearts, color ombre's, or if you want something simple, they have curtains to block off any pattern. SERVICE: 10/10 Staff were hella chill and informative. When you're done with the photo-booth station you selected and feel like doing another one, if you see another station is empty, you're allowed to use it without asking the staff! AMBIANCE: 10/10 Decent selection of photo booths scattered throughout the place. They had some good music playing for the vibes. This will be in my OC collection of places to go to and recommend. I really give them props for how much they've expanded. I use to walk by with a side eye at how small this spot was with very little booths and how atrocious the lines were. However, they've now expanded into two rooms and have doubled their photo booths. They've even added colored ones along with one that provides a digital copy! I miss those days of hitting up these photo booths inside a mall, crazy how much of a comeback they've made now! I honestly think we have Gen Z to thank for bringing it back lol. Love the variety in booths with backdrops, you've got plain, stars, hearts, it's nice to know you've got options! And honestly for the price? Can't be beat. Very affordable. It's also next to Salty Bear and The inconvenience store so you can head to one of those spots after taking a photo! read more

Cute little gem at The CAMP in Costa Mesa. It's located out on the side with other mini stores next to it. Parking is also limited on this side of the area. It's about $5 per black and white strips. $2 for digital scan. I've seen this place get really crowded, but my friend and I got lucky with no line and got in pretty quick. Before entering, they asked us to pick which style of print we wanted. I love the nostalgia feel of the photo booths. We had a fun time making our silly poses. It was 4 squares per strip and it took some time for them to get printed out. Also, a quick note to make sure to handle your prints with care since the ink comes out super fresh and wet. If not, you will find some smudges on them. Overall, cute little stop if you are in the area! read more

We went to Booth by Bryant on a Wednesday to take 6-month pictures for our son, and it was such a great experience! The place wasn't packed, everything was super clean, and the AC was a lifesaver on a hot day. The pictures came out so cute--we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for an easy, comfortable, and fun photo experience! read more

I drove from Long Beach to Costa Mesa and the drive was very smooth! Parking is small and tight, you might get lucky with parking along the businesses that are near the curb!! The wait to get in was about 8-10 min, Bryant approaches you and introduces you to each booth (very nice) and from there on you are able to use any booth you'd like! Booth by Bryant recently opened in OC and it's everyones new favorite activity! It's a singular vintage film-developing photo booth located inside of the Camp Out plaza in Costa Mesa. For $5 a strip, you get 4 photos and you can choose between a plain curtain background or a fun star print. Super cute and sentimental! When they first opened, I heard lines were insane (3-5 hours)! I had hopes that visiting a few months later would help the wait time, but we ended up waiting for 1 hr at 9PM on a Saturday night. Not exactly ideal, but the photos were too cute! Would say that it was semi-worth it. Inside the little room, there are couches for you to lounge on as you wait for your photos to develop (takes about ~3 minutes), mood lighting, mirrors, and bumping EDM music. It was definitely giving club vibes. In the future, I really hope they add a second booth to this location to help the wait time. Would love to come back, but maybe on an off day or right when they open. read more
