SUCH a fun spot!! Stopped in for a team bonding activity and it was such a hit with our group. Nessa did such a great job as our instructor! The spot is super cute, organized, and clean. We loved how there were plenty of photo opps and spots for cute mirror selfies. While the activity may seem pricey upon booking, you definitely get your money's worth with the three hour session, frame + glass, unlimited base flowers (there are larger flowers available for an additional cost), and experience! Upon arrival, Nessa was super bubbly and excited to meet/teach the group. I liked how she played a clear and easy to understand video at the beginning of our session showing us what to expect, disclaimers, rules, and directions. Throughout the whole process she was always available to help, was checking on flowers to refill, and was walking around to check in and hype us up. We didn't think we would need three hours but we ended up staying for the majority of the allotted time. Highly recommend Maivie and hoping to come back again soon!

Location is very easy to get to. As someone who is not familiar with Irvine Spectrum it was a quick parking by Brio Italian restaurant & a quick walk to the shop!! We did arrive early as requested. The girls were very nice, Mia and Julia. The event was full so we either had to hang our purses on the chair or leave on the floor (which is a no no for me, that's bad luck). They did offer to have our items be placed on a couch by the door & drinks at a little table with said couch. My advice for anyone else, bring less. I always have my purse with me and a purse holder clip. The vibes were great. I may have enjoyed one of the employees vibe more than the other employee vibe. The flowers and set up were beautiful. So many choices to select from. The ladies were helpful on what we could choose from. Apparently there is a high demand for the arch frame and the lettering as well which were out of stock. I chose a smaller square frame as I wanted the arch frame but they didn't have any. So did my girlfriend who wanted the arch frame, she chose a smaller square frame like mine. My other girlfriend wanted the big letter with the black, but I guess it wasn't explained correctly and it was just the letter and nothing covering the letter, to make the flowers boldly stand out. She ended up switching her frame to the same as ours. Our birthday girl was happy with what she chose and had her options available that she wanted. After we all checked in, my group and the others, we all had to sign a form digitally. We then watched an instructional video on how to make our beautiful pieces! Was a short video and I did get a bit distracted. I wish I had started gluing before creating my image I had in my head. Once I started moving flowers and gluing, it just became a bit of a mess. I ended up just overwhelming my vision I had started with. All my girlfriends came out so beautiful!! We all loved our flower art. It was a very wonderful experience to have with my girlfriends and would recommend. I do have to say, it was pricy in my opinion. I understand the cost and supplies. I had a couple of friends ask as I had posted videos and photos. I did have to tell them it was a pricy but fun experience. I did end up using some of the premium flowers, which I think I chose some of the $3.00 flowers. Overall for the $45.00 class, the frame cost, the premium flowers at $3.00 each and the tip, my cost was $120.00. I can absolutely recommend but would do this for special events.

Best day ever! Ava was our consultant. Made me feel comfortable, confident and happy with everything I chose in my design! A lot is happening in my life right now, and feeling heard and excited about letting go and being creative is the best! And the big reveal Ava created with everyone's art was fantastic! Literally bought me to tears! My friend Amber and I walked around for about 30 minutes showing everyone our art and telling all that complemented to head over to Maivie!

pay an absorbent amount of money to glue dead flowers to a canvas while sitting on hard chairs, this is your dream spot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a wall of dried blooms screaming "Live, Laugh, expensive"... like stepping into the Pinterest board of someone named Madison who only drinks champagne at brunch. The flower-arranging experience itself? Imagine paying luxury-spa prices to play with crushed petals and be gently "oohed and awed" like nobody here is a real crafter. You'll leave with a framed bouquet of your own personal floral crisis -- perfect for hanging quietly in a closet. Bonus points for the full-length mirror that lets you reflect on your financial decisions of $120. We are not cheap. 7/10 would recommend to anyone trying to prove they have disposable income and a color palette.

Such a fun experience with my Girl Scout Troop! We really enjoyed this creative workshop. The vibe was chill and relaxing. There is a beautiful variety of pressed flowers and frames to choose from. We all left with gorgeous works of art that we will treasure forever.

Our experience today was wonderful! Ness was super kind and helpful and really sweet. Luke was knowledgeable and kind and both were very engaging and gave us lots of tips and tricks. The environment is beautiful, the quality of the materials is top tier (museum quality glass is offered as an option!) and the whole experience was so lovely! We had a great time and we really appreciated the quality of the materials. We didn't feel rushed like other creative classes we've done. We loved that we could use as many or as little flowers as we wanted. The environment was very inclusive and I saw a lot of diversity in different people including my daughter and I. I love that the frames we made are actually something we are going to display in our homes, not tuck away in a closet somewhere or "finish at home" like some other classes who send you home with an unfinished product. I will definitely be coming back with my girlfriends!

Highly recommend the experience at Maivie! We had seen their shop in Salt Lake City when we were visiting last year and I had wished they had something similar in California. I found out they opened up in OC and immediately booked even though I live about an hour away. So happy we went because it was so much fun!! My husband came with me and he had only planned to be there for support but ended up LOVING it himself! We walked away with two floral frames we now love hanging in our home and started pressing our own flowers just for fun. The frames are a bit pricey so be prepared to pay a good amount but it's honestly the experience. If you love flowers like I do, you'll love this workshop!

I took my mom and sister here for a late Mother's Day and we had a wonderful time! We went Tuesday at 2pm so it was just us and two other girls. The girl who helped us out was named Lauren and she was fantastic! Amazing customer service, friendly and chatty, and super helpful throughout the whole process. It is a bit pricey but you can make it out at just around 100$ and still have a great time. It's super nice that you have 3 hours and aren't limited to the flowers used. I would definitely recommend! Thank you again Lauren!!

Things I wanted to know before I bought tickets but couldn't easily find the information:…read more- Do the seats recline in the IMAX theater? Yes, if you push back, it reclines about 4 inches...think airplane. - Do the seats have a foot rest in the IMAX theater? No, unless you are in a seat with a railing in front of you, you cannot put your feet up. Row D has a railing BTW. - Are the seats uncomfortable in the IMAX theater? Kind of...but it's because all these other theaters have been providing us with the equivalent of barcaloungers for so many years that we scoff at cushy narrow seats without any power or side tables for our buffet of snacks. They are fine as long as you remember the seats us old folks used to have to watch Titanic. Bonus IMAX info: The person scanning your ticket might say "the theater is off to your left" and that might make you think you keep going left...but you don't. You go to the left of concessions and then you are there...so don't turn....veer.

Almost no recline, the vinyl sticks to your skin, hard seating surface kills the tailbone, and worst of all the headrest awkwardly forces your head forward and forces you to sit with terrible posture. Thankfully or movie was only about 90 minutes. After the movie I asked a worker if their IMAX 70mm theater has upgraded seats and she said they're all the standard seats. I was planning to watch Odyssey in the imax theater but not interested after learning about the poor seating for a 3 hour movie. No thanks. And no thanks to any more movies here.
