How many times can I give them a shot and they constantly disappoint. Slow, inattentive, mediocre food. They should start by hiring more experienced staff who care about their jobs. Then they need to work on ticket times and managing the dining room. Last time I went I got the avocado toast and it was obviously old avocado that they scraped the brown off of. Came here Saturday of Labor Day weekend around 10:30 AM...Used the Live Waitlist feature on Yelp which put us 5th in line with a 20 minute...timed it perfectly so that when we arrived, there was a less than 5 minute wait.. No problems parking...host and hostesses were friendly and kind. Great menu options...attentive server! Our food was great! You know those moments after you get your meal and everyone stops talking to eat?...yeah...that happened to us...there was food silence for what seemed forever because it was so good.... *Flight of Pancakes-We started with sharing the Lemon Blueberry Dream, Berry Chocolaty, and Cinnamon Roll...AMAZING. Could not possibly have been more disappointed with our experience at Turning Point. I had very high hopes after reading the reviews and hearing about how crowded they are on weekends, usually, crowded means good! First of all, they're flat out lying when they say that calling ahead makes any difference whatsoever. We waited for an hour (called ahead for 1030, arrived at 1010, seated at 1110) after my husband called the restaurant at 8 AM sharp. He called earlier in the week and they gave us a made up answer about how calling ahead cuts the wait time in half. So...they normally have a two hour wait on a Sunday? Yeah right - others were seated after a half hour wait. They have maybe one or two tables that can seat more than 6 people. They told us 40 minutes at 1010, which was a complete lie. Let's start with the beverages. The water glasses were dirty. The hot chocolate wasn't hot whatsoever and is highly overpriced. Mmm...lukewarm chocolate. At least the coffee was hot. The food was fine. Absolutely nothing special, despite the hype and ridiculous wait. I ordered scrambled eggs, they were not hot - the chicken sausage was good though. My husband ordered the tropical waffle and enjoyed it. Other meals ordered included the peanut butter pancakes, king French toast, blueberry pancakes, and a few others. Our server was a bright spot in an otherwise dismal experience. She was friendly and did a great job despite the chaotic environment. The food here may be fine, but this place absolutely will not last if they continue lying to customers. Okay so, this is long overdue since I have been wanting to try this out for forever. I feel like it's been open a year give or take. Like the nicest waitress I've had in a long time and I think having her made our experience. I'm not sure if it would have been as good with someone else. She was sweet and helpful and just bubbly, great service! I ordered a chai tea late - delicious. This makes me want to go just for coffee/tea! Most flavorful chai tea latte I've had without od'ing on the cinnamon! I ordered the salted caramel waffles which the waitress said was one of her favorites and it was delicious. I could pinpoint each flavor but they also blended really well. The waffles were cooked perfectly and the presentation was great. It was a perfect balance of sweet and salty and savory! I definitely think I'll have to return for them. It almost makes me not want to order anything else. The decor is also nice and the place looks really clean. If you've heard good things about it and were wondering how it could be so good - it just is - give it a try! A lot of the negative reviews I have seen had to do with wait time, however I think most of those reviews were from people who decided to do a weekend brunch. Very nice brunch here with my BFF. We sat outside on their small patio. We were not lucky enough to get one of the 3 tables under the umbrella. Luckily it was not too hot of a day. I ordered the tuna melt w/o tomatoes. I had that at the Newtown location and loved it. This time it was good but the bread was softer. I prefer the bread baked more so it becomes crisper. My friend ordered the turkey Reuben. She enjoyed. Both were very large sandwiches and we each took half home. It was even better when I re-baked it. When we first got seated, the servers forgot about us. I went inside to remind the hostess we were outside. Once I did that our service was over the top pleasant and excellent. They more than made up for our wait. I think they have the best coffee around and I love that a pot is put on the table. It stayed very hot in the carafe too. Flagging someone down for a refill can be a damper. I think I would go back just for their coffee...it was that good. Overall, the food is fresh and okay. I have also been to Turning Point in North Wales and that one is dreadful. So I was skeptical about this place. But so far Warrington and Newtown are good. The Turning Point is an awesome brunch place with a variety of pancakes, french toast, egg dishes, and skillets. We came on a Monday morning and were seated immediately. The presentation of their dishes is always colorful and well done. We first started with the avocado artisan toast, and for $5, this was easily large enough to be an entree. It was perfectly seasoned with lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper. We also ordered the southern chicken and waffles, which were waffles topped with chicken tenders, bacon, and plenty of cranberries. I wasn't a huge fan of the gravy on top, but I liked how the sweetness of the cranberries complimented the savory bacon. I would have preffered maple syrup or something besides the gravy. They gave SO much food and I definitely did not finish. We also had the Eggs Benedetto, which were poached eggs on top of toasted ciabatta, with plum tomato, spinach, peppers, and mushrooms. The pesto glazed sauce was incredibly delicious and unique. I also enjoyed the sides of potatoes and fruit. There was nothing disappointing about Turning Point. I love Turning Point's food, it's always delicious and I love getting the seasonal specials. I had the cinnamon apple crunchy french toast yesterday and it was just as yummy as I had hoped. My husband always gets the chicken and waffles which comes with a savory gravy but has these dried cranberries for a bite of sweetness, it's awesome! This would be a 5 star review, however, the last few times I've come over the last 3ish months I've used the yelp check in feature and waited SO LONG after the estimated wait time. I know it's a busy place which I totally understand but I'm not talking about an extra 5 min after the quoted wait time... twice now I've been quoted about 25min, I arrive at the suggested time and still continue to wait an additional 25 min for a total wait of 50 min. One other time the app quoted me 75min so I put us on while we were still at home, got there right at the 70 min mark and still waited another HOUR!! After the wait our food also took FOREVER. Again I know it's a busy place but I feel like it's recent that the service has really slowed down which sucks because I looooove the food there, just hate the insane wait. read more

Maybe it's just the depth of my experience, but at all restaurants I go to, the given wait time is always an OVER estimate so that the customer is always pleased more often than disappointed. We ended up waiting ONE HOUR. Would've been more patient, had i been told the wait time would have been around an hour, rather than 20 minutes tops. On the other hand, i give this place 5 stars for its food. This cute restaurant serving breakfast, brunch & lunch just opened in The Shops at Valley Square. There are a lot of healthy options on the menu in addition to the classics. The Martha's Vineyard salad was delicious! Huge portion and very fresh ingredients consisting of mixed greens, blueberries, mango, strawberries, warm grilled chix, pecans and shredded coconut. It tasted great with the citrus vinaigrette. I'll definitely go back. There is also a coffee take out section called Cowabunga. Can't review it because I didn't have coffee there today. read more

He asked me to try and recreate them, but he said I can't do it as good. Haha. My mom got a basic egg breakfast that she said was good and the side potatoes were yummy. I got the lobster eggs Benedict and, while it was okay, I don't think I'll order it again. It was just too much happening in one dish and it made it difficult to appreciate the lobster. The nutty Irishman coffee was delightful and the fresh fruit was truly fresh. My son really enjoyed his French toast and we enjoyed the ambiance. I recommend this to anyone wanting to try a new brunch restaurant. It's so different than a diner or IHOP and you can't bear the location. This place could be dangerous for us! We went there on a Sunday afternoonish and were almost immediately seated - which we did not expect- but I digress. We love the atmosphere, the back room were we were seated was bright and the fireplace was on which helped to take the edge off of a chilly morning. The service was spot-on, the coffee was phenomenal and the food was fantastic. I had the Chicken and Waffles - which blew my mind and my girl had a Panini - that she loved. Heard about this place and thought we'd give it a shot and was not disappointed! Got here about 11:30 or so on a Saturday, waited around 15-20 min before being seated. The place is pretty big with lots of different rooms and tables. Both dishes were under 10$, a coffee joint attached that produces pretty good stuff, and for the quality, it's a sure fire win-win-win! French toast was pretty classic with fresh fruit, a nice jam which is a little sugary but also tart, and a thick dollop of, I think, raspberry cream cheese? All goes together pretty well and is a classic taste - not exactly outstanding though, but good. Also got the Wilbur Skillet - two eggs any style overtop of potatoes, bacon bits, tomatoes, covered in melted Monterey Jack and a generous cut of avocados and a side of fresh fruit (mostly honey dew which I don't mind) and a toasted and buttered English muffin. The cheese definitely tied together the dish and gave a great taste, I'm glad they weren't skimpy on any of the ingredients - like the avocado and bacon, and I didn't care for the English muffin too much until I took a bite! Haha, ended up loving the butter and how well toasted it was. And last but not least, perfectly done over easy eggs. Wow! Such a great brunch experience this morning. Everyone was so friendly!! We had the most amazing, fun, enthusiastic waitress Samantha! She truly made our experience memorable. It has been a while since we have dined out, with two very small children, almost impossible. For their fresh brewed iced coffee, they don't have a flavor of the day but they give you a choice of popular flavors such as vanilla, hazelnut and mocha. For only 2.89 and unlimited refills, this drink is a must order when you come here. I forget the name of the sandwich but it was a bit dry and could use some mayonnaise or ranch.
