First time here. Found this place last minute on Yelp. I joined their waitlist online which gave me an estimate of 30-45 minutes. The restaurant is very cute, there is a bar area along with tables and booths. When I arrived I went to check in and the hostess confirmed I was on the waitlist and that it would be 45 minutes for my table to be ready. I went to sit in my car while I waited for my table to be ready. About 25 minutes past and I received a text message stating my table was ready. Our server Chelsea was very sweet and attentive, after our food came out we forgot we ordered sausages. When she came to check on us, she actually reminded us and went to check the kitchen on our sausages. I had the big hibiscus tea and lobster Benedict which was amaaazing. The food came out in a reasonable time after being ordered and the service was impeccable. Will definitely be recommending this place to others! read more

My husband and I have been through many Turning Point locations. Paul was our server and we had absolutely the best experience ever. My husband had the key west shrimp omelette and I had the GOAT omelette. Each one was with egg whites and they were absolutely delicious. Paul provided us with to go cups for ice water as well as for our coffee. He checked on us at the appropriate place I will definitely be coming back to the Cherry Hill location. This is my fourth time here. Service tends to be a little slow at times, but the food and wait are usually worth it. They have a great menu with a lot of unique meals for breakfast/lunch/brunch. It tends to get a little crowded especially in the winter without the outside seating area being used. Big Easy Benedict and el fresco quinoa bowl are both solid choices. The Grande Huevos Rancheros is spectacular though (have to be hungry, it's HUGE!) Servers and staff are very nice; just seem overwhelmed at times. They really need a barista to manage the coffee, tea, hot chocolate orders. I have seen like 3-4 girls fighting for space back there to make drinks behind the counter and it slows the process. I feel like they could make their lives easier. Overall it's an excellent brunch spot for some solid food at a reasonable price. Space is limited, so be prepared to wait or call ahead. read more

Wowwhee! We loved eating here so much during our visit we went back! The huevos rancheros are amazing-as are the home fries - we fought over those. I don't recommend the bacon wrapped apple unless you like soggy apple. I was expecting a crisp bacon and crisp apple and it was mushy and not good. read more

Five stars for how delicious the food and coffee was, negative two starts for the service. I don't know if they were short staffed or service is always this slow. We sat outside and I could see the other customers getting annoyed at how long it took to get literally everything-drink orders, the check, the food. The waiter Ryan was hustling, literally running around, trying his best, but he needed some help. I got the basic skillet with swiss and cheddar cheese, added avocado, with two poached eggs. This morning, we decided to try a new breakfast spot since it seems like we never eat other places due to always being disappointed by either the service or the food, this place has no issues in any department. Our waitress Phyona was awesome, very personable, patient, and helpful. She gave us lots of time to check the menu, listened to our substitutes, and checked in on us throughout our meal. When we go back, we'll be looking for her. Now the food was soooo delicious. I got the breakfast combo with a Belgium waffle and it was so good, hot, and I didn't have a single complaint. Their iced chai on ice was so good as well. My fiancé had the veggie omelette and lemon and blueberry pancakes and everything was so fresh and well prepared. The host working on 2/9/23 at 1:16 pm had the worst attitude. She seemed bothered that we came & claimed to be unable to accommodate us because our group was too big. (5adults 2children). She argued that they don't accommodate 7 people which having been a manager at a restaurant before made me chuckle being that we were going to need a high chair regardless for the baby & if I'm not mistaken there's a table of 6 with just enough chairs for the adults and one other child. We've been to the Marlton location, which we love, and this place has the same great service and perfectly prepared brunch. Cherry Hill place seemed a little smaller than Marlton. We came here on a Monday so there wasn't a wait like there usually is on the weekends. The waitress we had this day was very friendly. We used a gift card that I had registered as a Perk Card. What an awesome surprise to know that my birthday month would be rewarded with one free meal!! Even though we live half an hour away from either of these locations, this place is one of our favorites. The menu has so many great options and we always look forward to trying any of the specials. As far as coffee... You can't go wrong with the French press! Only complaint are that the tables are kind of small when they seat for 2. Food is consistent. Haven't had to wait for too long to get a table any time we've come. Service can be hit or miss sometimes and can get noisy. Vanilla chai tea and the heavenly hot chocolates are certainly why to come here! This visit had the pork roll and eggs benny, avocado smash Benny, and an omelet. Pork roll was very underwhelming. I loveee coming here for breakfast! It's not far away and the food is amazing! I recommend getting the strawberry chocolate pancakes, my bf and I always have to get BC it is hands down the best pancakes we have tried. It always comes warm and they also provide a warm syrup with it! I usually get the western omelet with pancakes on the side, huevos rancheros, popeye skillet or the pavo cubano- I can't ever decide what to get bc I want it all. For drinks, their warm chai tea is amazing, and their orange juice tastes fresh! My dad and bf always order the pavo cubano- tip add bacon to it, it makes it better than it already is. I came here with my family for brunch while we were around the area. Parking was a little difficult at first, but we all managed to find a spot (we had three cars). The restaurant was mid-sized and not very big and it was very crowded, but luckily there was a table big enough for us all. The menu had a combination of brunch and lunch. Their brunch selections seemed rather small compared to other restaurants. My family and I each had similar dishes and some that were different. Southern Chicken & Waffles - wedges of waffles were topped with fried chicken tenders with chopped smoked bacon, sweet dried cranberries and their homemade sausage gravy. My fiance isn't a huge fan of Southern Chicken and Waffles, but he got it and actually liked it. I thought it tasted different to ones I've had before in the sense that the sauce is slightly sweetened. Classic Benedict - I got this dish since I love Eggs Benedict, but this version was slightly different. It was toasted English muffin with slices of virginia ham, plum tomato and two poached eggs topped off with Hollandaise sauce accompanied with a side of home fries and a fruit cup.The poached eggs were cooked just right with the egg yoiks runny as it should be. For some reason, this classic Benedict didn't feel as classic or tasty as some of the ones I've had before. I think it may be the Virginia ham because usually I get it served with Canadian bacon, so different tastes and flavors. Home fries were cooked to perfection. The fruit salad was cute, but I didn't think it was necessary. Overall, my family thought the food was decent. My parents aren't used to eating American cuisine for breakfast so it was a little bit an adjustment for them. I personally thought the food was alright, but it didn't exactly "wow" me. I heard there's one in Hoboken, so maybe my fiance and I will try it out some time instead of our usual spots. read more

First time here the other day for brunch and we definitely won't be returning. The French toast, which sounds delicious on the menu description, tastes like plain bread. Absolutely no cinnamon flavor, no vanilla flavor, nothing. Just plain bread soaked in milk and egg. Horrible. The drinks were good- coffee and vanilla chai, but we can get those plus good food elsewhere. Highly disappointed. Can't figure out why they're so busy. Although the pancakes menu is fairly limited, the range of egg based dishes and omelets is expansive. I tried the Wilbur skillet which was both tasty and filling. We also ordered a portion of the iron man - pancakes and egg white omelets. This is a great portion size if anyone in your party is super hungry. They have an interesting coffee menu, but I ordered a cup of regular coffee which I thought was not up to standards. Maybe I should have gotten myself one of their coffee specials instead! Typically you'd have to wait 10-15 minutes for brunch, especially on weekends. You shouldn't have any problems for breakfast on weekdays. read more

So after coming here two years ago and leaving with salsa all over my shirt and shoes from a drop that looked worse then Nelson Aghalor drop on a typical Eagles game and nothing has changed. Looks like it's going to be good. I got the Creole Egg Skillet and it was good.. not great, but good. I liked the cornbread but otherwise it was meh. The wife and I got a pumpkin spice chai latte... I got iced and she got hot. It was creamy and sweet if you like it that way. Like super sweet... like I think I just got diabetes. The bathrooms- which I always review... let's just say I walked in, there was a father and son walking into the stall and he turned around and was like "oh hell no, do you see any paper towels?" I replied no man it's a blower that recirculates the poop air around your hands. Anywhoo the bathroom looks like it got hit by a shart monster and I feel bad for that dad. I got the bill, left, and went to Starbucks for their clean bathroom and non diabetes drink. I usually order something strange or exotic but I'm living a different lifestyle now in 2018 no carbs and less calories!! For the best brunch restaurant this side of town, I recommend to the Turning Point! Their bagel sandwich and hash browns with peppers and onions really hits the spot, and is only $7.50! Came here with a party of about 18 people, they put us in a separate room with the doors closed so we wouldn't "take up tables" for other customers. When we walked out there less than 10 tables dining in the restaurant anyway. When our food was coming out, the food runners didn't seem to know what they were handing out. 3 of us ordered the Wilbur skillet, 2 were ordered as is, and one had the bacon substituted for sausage. The food runner came out and said "Wilbur skillet with sausage" and it ended up being bacon. So that person sent it back. Then another food runner came out and said "Wilbur skillet" and I claimed it, and after my first bite I realized it was sausage instead of bacon. I sent that back as well. The manager came out and blamed our party for taking the wrong food and stated they just had to throw away 5 food items because we can't figure out who has what. I advised her that her food runners are coming out and saying the wrong food items and they need to be sure of what they're serving. The manager was very aggressive about it. It's a shame that there's not proper communication and organization in back of house because the food here is really good. 3 stars because food is always delicious. COVID 19 Review I went to have breakfast a while back with a friend and they were absolutely amazing!! The waitress I had was incredibly nice and kept a pleasant conversation. Even in a busy time like this, they nailed the customer service and the food was even better! They only have outdoor seating right now and they do delivery. Highly recommended, everyone wore a mask and I saw after someone left they immediately went and cleaned up the chairs and table they were seated at! I would give it 10 stars if I could.
