I've been a fan of the Turning point chain but was a little disappointed in this branch in particular. Nothing was wrong with the service. Our waiter was kind and always checked in to see if we needed anything else. What knocked off a star the cleanliness. I'm not sure if it was just where we were sitting or it was the whole restaurant but there were about 3-5 fairly large fruit flies that kept flying around us so much that we had to wave them out of the way constantly while sitting and eating. I knocked off another star because of the cook on my eggs. I ordered them over easy. One of my eggs was overcooked where the yolk didn't really run and was more on the fried side. Had a nice fresh and healthy lunch with my two best friends here after morning of vending. Service was a bit slow and it was somewhat difficult to find parking but overall I enjoyed this experience. I ordered a bowl with shrimp and it was very light on the shrimp maybe like 5-6 shrimp which was very disappointing. And this left me a bit hungry after. But don't even think about ordering anything remotely ethnic or "fancy" from the menu. My girlfriend ordered a Cuban sandwich. See the picture for what she received. One slice of ham, one slice of turkey?, mushy pickles that were so gross that when I tried it I spit it out, white bread, and the sandwich was not even put into a press, way too much mustard, don't know if I need to go on. We ordered a lobster dish one time and the lobster was obviously freezer burned and mushy texture. So the only problem we had was that we wanted to order xxl bacon bourbon and were told that the cook got in late today (day after Christmas) and wasn't able to prep is before the start of the day. Therefore they didn't have it. Also my boyfriend said the French toast was a little harder then usual. But taste wise, that French toast was sooooo good. I got the shakushka and it was delicious. It was 3 poached eggs in like diced tomatoes. It was great. I really enjoyed. It was served with a side of sour cream and some amazing bruschetta that was toasted perfectly. I really enjoyed this meal. My boyfriend got the lollipop bacon. It's apple slices (like apple pie filling) wrapped with bacon. It's drizzled with Carmel and brown sugar. The presentation and taste were both phenomenal. He also got the cheesecake French toast which he said was a little harder then he expected. I got to taste it and the cream cheese drizzle that's on top was to die for. Also we got the French press coffee. Which we didn't take pictures of. But it was very good. They didn't have almond milk but they had oat and soy milk. As well as regular Creamer. There was enough for 4 cups In there so that was great. Overall our experience here was pretty good. This spot has a great thing going for the area. My coworker suggested this place as he takes his family there. I couldn't believe how busy it was on a Thursday at 11. They sat us right down. The waitress came right out and told us about the special and took our drink order. I had the turkey chili with side of eggs, and my coworker ordered and omelette. I just had breakfast at The Turning Point in Cherry Hill on Haddonfield road and it was amazing the food was great, they serve nice size portions for the money the service is stellar they do not rush you to eat, you don't have to wait for your second cup of coffee they bring the entire pot to your table and it stayed hot for the duration of the breakfast. We waited about 10 mins to sit at a table. The tables was empty but the host was taking phone orders and trying to sit guest. Our waitress Kameron was phenomenal with beautiful body art (tattoos). We decided to order the Tropical Bliss Smoothie, French Press, Berry Chocolaty Pancakes, Western Omelette, and Grande Huevos Rancheros. The smoothie and french press were standard drinks, but served at the right temperature and appetizing. Our main dishes came with HUGE portions, that we later devoured. For the Berry Chocolaty Pancakes, the chocolate sauce soaked into the moist pancakes, which created a sweet heavenly taste. The Western Omelette took up about half the plate with perfectly browned home fries and freshly cut fruit. Grande Huevos Rancheros was served on top of a whole tortilla with spices and flavors that perfectly complemented each other. Makes me feel like VIP every time I walk in and say "I made reservations on Yelp" and they lead you right in while everyone waiting just gives you that side eye haha! Anyways... menu choices.. so many to choose from! And they've got specials that change with the season... like for those pumpkin lovers, they had all pumpkin everything. Me and my husband split the Pumpkin pancakes and the Wilbur skillet. It was all very good! Definitely hit the spot.. flavors were all good. Was only slightly disappointed that 1 of my eggs was over medium and the other one was runny... as I like mine runny but I guess I didn't really specify! Pancakes were nice and fluffy and the combination of the pumpkin flavor with the cream cheese drizzle icing and the dried raspberry with nuts were a great flavor combination. My only complaint was that service was a little slow and it took a bit long for our server to take our order. It was a Sunday brunch time, so understand, but would have been nice to at least get drinks started. But once she did, the food came out pretty fast! I am extremely disappointed with the Turning Point in Cherry Hill I have been there several times and I honestly may not return at least at this location ever again. I have always had a great experience here with my boyfriend but I believe they tried to kill us with the food. When we first arrived they had told us it will be a 10 minute wait but we only waited about five minutes and we were seated so I thought that we were going to have a great time but they messed up at least 3 to 4 times. Let's start with strike one. Strike 1 - Our table was not as clean as I hoped it would be and it was in a tight space by the window between another table in front of us and then the cleaning station was right behind us so I could barely fit in my seat. every five seconds a waiter will sneak up behind me to do whatever they were doing at that station which was very bothersome. It looked as though they just did a quick wipe for the next party to arrive and didn't even bother to clean the floors under the table. That is a pet peeve for me. Strike 2 - when our food arrived I had the Basic skillet which was OK it wasn't the best and also it looks like whoever was in the kitchen does not wash their utensils before using it in another meal because I saw spots of avocado in my egg which you can see in the picture if you were to zoom in. Even the white dish itself does not look the cleanest. I still wanted to attempt to try the meal but I couldn't even finish it especially after what my boyfriend found in his plate... my boyfriend had a Key West shrimp omelette with a side of hash which is what he usually gets without any problems however as he was eating he tasted a hard crunch when he was eating his omelette and then he felt something hard. when he tried to eat some more come to find out there was a piece of metal or plastic in his hashbrowns. we had to Inform the manager and she took his plate back and stated that they will make him a new dish and we said OK. We were totally disgusted especially because God for bid my boyfriend were to actually eat that and choke on it it would've been a whole nother story. at this point I didn't even want to finish my breakfast especially because it wasn't that good anyway so I told our waiter to take the plate back as well and we just decided to eat his cinnamon roll pancakes which was pretty good and usually what my boyfriend also usually gets. Strike 3 - so after a while we were still waiting on my boyfriends "revamped" dish and halfway through eating his pancakes we noticed a long green and black skinny piece of string as he cut another piece of pancake. we couldn't tell what it was but it looked disgusting at first we thought it was apart of the cinnamon in the pancake but then we realize it wasn't! my boyfriend grabbed the skinny piece of string and pulled a Long piece of string like object. it looked like a piece of stem from a vegetable or something at this point I was furious and I wanted to flip the table because not only was the food not that great but also my boyfriend could've died the first time he found something in his food! We called our waiter over the table and asked if she could make out what was on the plate and she said it could possibly be a part of the cinnamon but then she looked closely and said she doesn't know so she took the plate to the back and the manager came back and apologized for the recent events that took place. She stated that she will take care of the bill. What I will say is that the day that we went could have been just a bad day for the people in the kitchen because as I have stated before, usually they are pretty good when it comes to their food but because of the experience that we have had, we will not be returning to this location because we are darn near traumatized and it seems as though they cross contaminate a lot in the kitchen. Sherri, the manager, handled the situation very well and she gave us a coupon to have two free entrées but I don't know if I would ever use it. read more

Really nice brunch place. Apparently there are a few of these restaurants all about, I had no idea. It was super busy on the weekend. We had to wait a bit for a table, but it wasn't bad, and turned out to be well worth it. For as busy as it was, the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. I got the Southern Chicken, which is fried chicken tenders, with chopped up bacon on a delicious waffle with a honey sriracha drizzle. Put a little maple syrup on that and you've got perfection. Everything tasted wonderful and was so filling. The drinks are really tasty too. I had a salted caramel mocha-chino. It was caramel, espresso, sea salt, chocolate milk and whipped cream. Basically a ridiculously delicious combo. The place was really nice and there is one closer to us, so we will be definitely trying that location too. read more

All of the breakfast food was amazing but, my sister decide to get the Nashville chicken hot sandwich and it wasn't the best the chicken didn't seem to be done but, they took it off the bill and offered to take care of us. We did call ahead seating which I would definitely recommend as this place gets a bit busy but, we got there and only waited about ten minutes which wasn't bad for a Saturday morning! The waitress was extremely friendly and very attentive to our dietary restrictions. We got the fresh press- Hawaiian Kona blend. The coffee was perfect and did not taste burnt or watered down. They also served the cutest sugar rock sticks with the coffee! We also got the kale fresh pressed juice and it was a little too sour and bitter for our taste. It was not as refreshing as we hope it would be. We also got two egg dishes off the seasonal fall menu. One was a Cajun style skillet which was seasoned well. There are also 'nutrition and delicious' options for the health conscious type, like the 'Mediterranean Vegetarian Wrap' and plenty of salads. I went with the Create a Combo for 10.25. I ordered a small cup of tomato bisque soup and a unique version of the monte crisco. French toast held together the turkey breast, swiss cheese, and ham in between. On the side was a strawberry reduction dipping sauce. Along with my sandwich was an array of random fresh fruit. The plate was pretty tasty and I wasn't bored with the combo since I'm a variety-seeker. I would have opted for a sweet maple syrup rather than the strawberry dip.
