got different drinks this time - the beach oolong milk tea and strawberry milk tea are super yummy. it's tucked away in a random plaza, but inside there's plenty of space to chill and hang out--great for groups!

Stumbled upon a bubble tea place before heading back home. Very spacious. You can order up front or with the self serve machine to the right. The mango yogurt was amazing, had that slight tangy taste! Brown sugar milk tea, original but fantastic. It took a little longer to wait for the drinks, but quality was great. They also serve ice cream if you're craving for them. Great bubble tea place!

Update** Unfortunately, I feel like this place has gotten worse of the last 2 years. I loved coming here. Their drinks were so yummy and I enjoyed my time in the shop as well as just grabbing a drink. The service I've received has been really upsetting recently. I've came multiple times throughout several months and it just gets worse and worse. My drink is never the same and the flavor is disappointing. My bf ordered a double purple just for it to be completely wrong and my brown sugar w/ oreo milk foam was pretty much just watered down milk. There was no brown sugar in it and the pearls were different than before. One other time, I got a huge clump of pearls so I couldn't enjoy it that time either. I feel awful writing this, but it genuinely makes me sad to see. The drinks should be the same as always with maybe some differences because people make mistakes and aren't computers, but every time I come there's an issue. I don't plan to come back here anymore because of it. I gave so many chances because I loved this place and where I'm located it's extremely convenient, but it's no longer worth going when my drink doesn't even come out right. I hope things will get better

We had such a wonderful experience here! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made my visit even more enjoyable. The shop itself is beautiful, clean, and decorated nicely. The boba tea was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great tea and great service.

I've been to Tsaocaa a few times, and it's such a great (and cute!) place to get work done or to catch up with friends. Especially now that they've added a bunch of claw machines inside. (although it's expensive, each token is $1) I love how extensive the menu is and how the drinks and cups are always so cute. Their teas are also very flowery, which I know some people love. But what I don't love is the inconsistency of the drinks. It's very hit or miss. My friend got her drink with 50% sweetness and it still had such a strong syrupy sweetness to it. Whereas I got 100% sweetness and it tasted like I had gotten 25% sweetness. The levels are just all over the place and it's hard to order something you will for sure like.

I first went to Tsaocaa in Pittsburgh and delighted to see it open here. It's the most value-for-boba shop in the area. The price includes tapioca and the tea flavor of the osmanthus Oolong (30% sugar, less ice is my go-to order) is consistent and flavorful. The tapioca texture and consistency (stickiness to other pieces - makes it harder to drink) is sometimes off, but it's still a great choice in the area.

Nothing special and quite pricy. One Sakura Oolong and one tiny (we didn't know the size) strawberry bubble milk. The total was over $13 but look at the size! No special order for us. If it had tasted different/better maybe the price could be justified but it was on par with most and tiny.

I would love to come back! Went at a very dead time of day on NYE so we were the only people in there, but I'm sure it's busier at a more popular time. Ordered the brown sugar bubble milk black tea with pearls, and it was pretty good! The tea flavor was amazing, but I wish I did 100% instead of 70% sweeteness , but that's on me. I will say the pearls were a great texture, but weren't all that sweet and had almost a tart aftertaste, not sure if it was because we were close to closing or if that was their normal flavor. Very cute inside, very instagrammable, and a bonus is they even serve Amy's Ice Cream! Will be going back!

We ordered the strawberry peach tea with nata jelly and the mashed taro milk tea and they were amazing! I always get 0% sweetness especially foe the fruit teas because the syrups are pretty sweet already. This location is super cute and spacious with lots of seating, there are kiosks you can place your order on, and there are a lot of claw machines where you can play for some cute keychains!

This place was really far so I'm glad that we came, but not sure how worth it was for the drive haha. Good: Prices here are cheaper than other boba places I've gone to where prices are around $8 for all the toppings and addons that Tsaocaa gives for free. Tsaocaa is around $5 with milk substitutes and also one topping. I got the peach tea oat milk drink and got it hot. I enjoyed it, not my favorite boba but still good. Super cute place too with outlets. Bad: Overall the boba was good but not a standout.

So happy to find Tsaocaa. It's everything and more! From quality of cup and packaging to flavor profile and variety of drinks.I love that options of jelly's & they even have oat milk and coconut milk options. I love that they have purple rice here and other flavor profiles that some boba shops are just missing. When I say flavor profiles I mean that they put FRESH purple rice and not just some powder throw in a blender. The boba I did find not as soft as what I am use to but the flavor of the drink itself brought me back home. The fruit tea itself was very fresh. A perfect balance of citrus and tea . Maybe , next time I will try it with herbal jelly. Overall this has been a great experience and I have found hope again. I Cannot wait to explore more of the menu

Soooo no boba for me, but in my son's eternal quest for the very best boba wherever he goes we simply had to drive all the way from South Austin through downtown to North Austin to try Tsaocaa! Yes!! Home run, five stars, winner winner!!! Well worth the drive! I tasted his Sakura Oolong Boba and it was good- for Boba. My favorite beverage to get whenever I am tagging along on these ventures is MATCHA!! Yup, Matcha me, baby! They also offer sugar and ice levels! Wheeeeee! I hate overly sweet Matcha and when you can get 30% sugar and very little ice, well Tsaocaa, you have won me over! I love love the options, the cleanliness, the service and oh yeah! The Macaroons!! The macaroons are delectable and come in all sorts of flavors from Earl Grey, to Red Velvet to Birthday Cake flavors. Definitely worth the time, gas, and energy to get this quality and taste!

Cute space with some very tasty concoctions of bubble tea, slushies and more. The bubble waffle is freshly made and piping hot when you order. Tablet or via counter, the tablet has pics along with the website, service was fast and we were able to scope out the perfect spot by the window to cozy up and enjoy our hydration choice of sips. This place is perfect for me up north, but if you've been wanting to scope this out, be sure to check and see it is quite a jaunt up north. :) Tasty and abundant parking in this business center. Win win win!

The customer service is seriously lacking and unfortunately it made our experience really bad where we will never return here again. We made the drive up north to try it before they close since they carry some Vietnamese snacks that are hard to find in Austin. Their menu is extensive covering drinks, desserts, and snacks so it took us a while to decide on our order. All their drinks are lactose free which was great to hear. The staff was nice but it did take a while for everything to come out. Peppermint Pandan Latte / Sam Dua Bac Ha ($6.95) + Crystal Boba ($0.95): We got this at 75% sweet and it was delicious. You can distinctly taste both the peppermint and pandan and it was really refreshing. Matcha Lover ($8.75): We got this at 75% sweet as well. It is a matcha latte with matcha foam, matcha pudding, and matcha mochi. We were not huge fans of this one. The foam was really thick and creamy which made it hard to mix, and the drink had a strange taste that we think came from the flour on the matcha mochi. I think it would have been better if we had eaten the mochi off the top first before mixing everything together. Popcorn Chicken ($8.75): This was okay. They used a different type of batter than what I am used to and it was pretty bland. I didn't like the chili dipping sauce either. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is still way better to me. Mixed Soft Rice Paper With Full Topping / BT Phoi Suong Full Topping ($14): This was our first time having banh trang tron with dried meat and seafood toppings. It also came with a sliced hard boiled egg instead of quail eggs. Very interesting and different. I really wished it came with tamarind sauce because that was the one flavor I felt was missing and would have tied everything together. The portion size also felt a bit small for the price.

But we received a BOGO coupon in the mail, and sure enough we wanted to try them out again. When we got there, the bobarista happily accepted the coupon and took our order. I went for their Lychee Green Tea and P2 ordered their Uber Smoothie. It didn't take too long for our drinks to come out, around 5-7 minutes. We were seated on some comfy chairs, and the bobarista served our drinks to us. I think presentation-wise, they did a good job. They claim to have "beverage aesthetics" and I tend to agree. Does having good "beverage aesthetics" make a drink taste better? No, definitely not. We both thought our drinks weren't too bad, however. I had ordered my drink with 0% sugar but I added boba to mine. My drink also already came with lychee coconut, so the two toppings sweetened my drink naturally. P2 complained that her drink was still too sweet for her liking. We appreciated the service and the pleasant ambience inside. I took off a star because the drinks were just too expensive. Without a coupon, I don't think we would come back here with drinks costing $7-8 each!
