Potato Bianca -- round white pizza with creamy sauce, potatoes, cheeses, garlic + rosemary
    Sarah M.

Truly Pizza in Laguna Beach was SO good! Everything we ordered was delicious, and I loved that we got to try both their round and square pizza styles. Garlic Pull Apart Bread -- warm, cast-iron baked bread with garlic butter and Romano. Such a perfect way to start! Dana Point Wedge -- iceberg wedge with herby ranch, dates, candied walnuts, bacon, and Point Reyes blue cheese. So flavorful and such a fun twist on a classic wedge. Potato Bianca -- a round white pizza with creamy sauce, potatoes, cheeses, garlic, and rosemary. This was unique, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Suprema -- a square pizza loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, garlic, and giardiniera. So much flavor in every bite! Soft Serve -- we tried both Cookies & Cream and Olive Oil, Sea Salt & Lemon Zest. They were completely different from each other, but both were such a fun and delicious way to finish the meal. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and gave us so many great recommendations, which made it even more fun to try a variety of things from the menu. We also absolutely loved the outdoor ambiance. The patio has such a beautiful, relaxed Laguna Beach feel with a bright, airy atmosphere, greenery, charming decor, and plenty of natural light. It feels casual and comfortable while still being stylish and thoughtfully designed. It was the perfect setting for a leisurely lunch, and we could have easily stayed there for hours enjoying the food and atmosphere. One thing to know before you go: parking is definitely a challenge. Give yourself at least 15 extra minutes to find parking in the neighborhoods behind the restaurant, and be prepared for a little walk. Between the amazing food, exceptional service, great recommendations, and beautiful outdoor atmosphere, we had such a wonderful experience. Definitely a spot I'd recommend when you're in Laguna Beach. We'll absolutely be back!

Made reservations a month in advance and it was well worth the wait! Seating was all outdoor from what I saw and it was nicely shaded. We ordered the skinny margarita pizza and the potato Bianca (add chicken sausage). Both were delicious and super flavorful, no ranch was needed!

Incredibly excited that we got to check out Truly Pizza in Laguna Beach! Ranked as being one of the best pizzerias in the world and in the Top 10 in the US; my curiosity only grew as we waited for about a month after getting our reservation! The restaurant itself was very elegant but not to the point where it's stuffy; definitely casual enough to bring friends and service was prompt and friendly. We tried out their famous Chichio pie which was a Super thin crust, tomato pizza with garlic oil, sea salt, oregano and grated sharp provolone. The hype is REAL with this pie; balanced with the flavors with an amazing sauce and with the perfect texture of crispy, yet with enough chew to make you appreciate the dough. Also tried out their Potato Bianca which was their white sauce pie that came with potato, garlic confit, chives, black pepper, goat cheese, and what seems like roasted rosemary along with their Suprema which was their square pie with cup pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms and garlic confit. Worth the wait? HELL YEAH. Lives up to the hype? Up to you but for me, I appreciated both the traditional and innovative takes on the pies so I understand the accolades, excellent experience!

What a lovely, Amalfi coast coded, restaurant! And it's all outdoor! It's difficult getting reservations so plan ahead and sign up for cancellations with them!! I very much wanted to give this place 5 stars but service was so slow. And they couldn't put the hot honey on the sweet and spicy pizza because of bees and I just thought that was so silly. But the pizza itself is SOOOOO delicious. Best crust I've ever had. Their suprema pizza also was stuffed with meats and veggies and was perfectly not soggy. Hungry just thinking about it! Their soft serve was also so unique. The Truly Way had this lemon zest that brought the olive oil and salt together and was mouth watering. Can't wait to be back!

Took my daughter and her friend here for pizza, my daughter been wanting to come here for 2 months and we didn't have a chance. Today we came in and ordered potatoes Bianca and skinny margherita, lemonade and Shirley temple drink. It was very good drink and pizza was delicious. Service was ok. She was very helpful, nice and attentive. Everywhere you go there gonna have a minimum of 18% tips, you can put whatever tips depends on you. Also I would like to say if you wanted jalapeños theres a charge, which the waitress should mention theres a charge for it. If you like anything extra pls make sure because they probably charge at the end without letting you know theres gonna be a charge for it. They should let the customers know and aware of the charge. Ambience, sitting is outside only.

Truly the best pizza!!! We came to laguna for lunch while visiting our friends in Orange County. The cottage with lemon trees caught my eye. This location blends an Amalfi meets California vibe in a lush cottage style setting. There are two dining patios wrapped in trees, shrubs, and greenery. I'm still dreaming about their pizza. Truly pizza is unique due to its multi-day fermented artisanal dough. We ordered their La Foresta, Umami mushroom, skinny margarita and one of their square pizza specials. Every pizza, every bite was to die for, absolutely phenomenal. Their house salad was beautiful, light and refreshing, I loved the vinaigrette dressing. Their French fries are perfectly skinny and crispy tossed in sea salt, served with ketchup and their amazing house made herby ranch. If they sold their ranch, I would have bought some! The french fries were a huge hit, we ended up ordering a second order. I loved my Aperol Spirtz, it was rosemary-steeped aperol, prosecco, soda water. I TRULY wish for more locations to open. I would love to see you come to Phoenix, Arizona! Until then, see you next time in CA! I can't wait to dine here again.

Let me give you some words of wisdom. If you plan on making a reservation, they are pretty packed so you need to really book ahead of time if you want to get a guaranteed time. For me, I just decided to try my luck and they so happened to have a waiting list when I came, so I got lucky. Someone else I spoke to said she had tried one time to come as a walk in and they did not even have a waiting list available so just a heads up! Anywho, as someone who went to the Truly Pizza in Dana Point when it opened, I was curious to see what this new Laguna location brings. It's seated right next to Urth Caffe. Honestly, I think it is super cute. I love the bougainvilleas mixed with the lemons in this location. It's really pretty and has a European feel. In the back, there are some string lights and I think it would be so pretty at night! Good variety of pizza. I got the Spinach and Artichoke which is more of a deep dish pizza but it's not super heavy. It's tasty too! We got the sea salt and olive oil soft serve which I loved the olive oil paired with the soft serve. Beware, the soft serve is on the sweeter side, so I found myself digging for the olive oil to balance that out, which it does well. It's tasty though. My server Joey was really sweet. She was super attentive and awesome. Big props to her. She's great. Side note-- two individual bathrooms, which if both occupied can be a long wait so just keep that in mind too. I was in line and I just needed to wash my hands. They're really nice and well maintained though, so great job team. Next time I come back, I'll try the evening so I can see the lights and the change in ambiance.

Truly absolutely lived up to the hype. I honestly wasn't even that hungry, but we ordered two pizzas anyway and ended up bringing leftovers home. Somehow they were just as good the next day, which says a lot. This is easily some of the best pizza I've had. It was our first time, and I didn't realize the Laguna Beach location had only been open for about a month. They were completely booked, weren't taking any more walk ins, and already had a cancellation list. We got incredibly lucky and were seated shortly, which was the perfect start to the meal. We ordered one thin crust pizza and one square pizza, and both were fantastic. We also got a salad that was a little underdressed, so we asked for a side of dressing to take home with the leftovers. It ended up being perfect the next day. The Laguna Beach location is beautiful. The ambiance reminded us of the Amalfi Coast. I can't wait for a location to open closer to LA because this is absolutely a place I'll keep coming back to.

VIBES are immaculate, the seating is super and I think it is all outdoor, lots of trees for shade and the sea breeze hits you softly in the face. Perfect spot to have dinner or lunch with families and friends Wait time: No reservations no worries because waitlist upon walk in was fairly fast, expected seating at 6:18pm when we got here 4pm but after 30 mins we got text to check in! Parking: laguna is mostly street parking and there are limited space, would recommend parking nearby neighborhood or just keep going down the road for parking because walking isnt too far Food: pizzas are amazing and flavored incredibly well. Pizza dough is cooked to perfection with the right ratio of crust to sauce and its nice and fluffy, not too hard. The margarita was so simple yet flavorful, taste was like a tomato flavor bomb

Tried the dana point location & wanted to try the Laguna one! More seating but still a long walk-in wait time. Had quick service as we needed to get in and out and appreciated it! I weirdly felt the pizzas were smaller in size than the Dana Point ones... Nevertheless, classic and delicious

I am a huge pizza guy so when I saw a lot of social media content being created around the location in Dana Point, I was pretty excited to hear that they opened one in Laguna Beach since its a bit closer to where I am. Finally got to try this place out a couple weeks ago and to sum up my experience: Great tasting pizza, good service, and a cool ambiance. The prices are a bit high for it being pizza but with that being said, the pizza does have that high quality taste. The servers were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was clean/contemporary with a great coastline view of the beach. Is it the best pizza I've ever had? No. But I'd say it's in the top ten. I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu if I happen to be in the area and I'm craving pizza.

If you're a pizza lover, Truly Pizza is absolutely worth the visit. It's a beautiful artisanal pizza restaurant with a relaxed Laguna Beach vibe, and it's easy to see why it's so busy. They're still fairly new and are clearly focused on providing outstanding food and service. Our server was fantastic. He recommended the Square Pizza Mamma Mia and Our Cheese pizza, and his recommendation couldn't have been better. The Mamma Mia was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The combination of fresh and whole milk mozzarella, baked ricotta, house-made meatballs, sweet and hot pickled Fresno peppers, fresh basil, and Sicilian oregano created an incredible balance of flavors. The crust was outstanding, crispy on the outside, light and airy inside. I'm normally a thin-crust pizza person because I don't like eating a lot of dough, but I would return just for this square pizza. We also tried Our Cheese pizza. It was very good, with incredibly fresh, high-quality ingredients and excellent flavor, but after trying the Mamma Mia, I would definitely lean toward their more creative specialty pizzas on future visits. We started with the Seasonal Burrata, and wow! I'm usually not an artichoke fan, but this appetizer completely changed my mind. It was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again. The Dana Point Wedge salad was another pleasant surprise. Crisp iceberg lettuce, homemade herby ranch, candied walnuts, local dates, smoked bacon, blue cheese, and fresh herbs made for a refreshing, flavorful salad that paired perfectly with the pizzas. For dessert, our server recommended vanilla ice cream topped with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. At first, I honestly thought it sounded strange, but it ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the meal. The combination was rich, creamy, slightly savory, and absolutely delicious. It's something everyone should try at least once. One thing to know before you go: they're currently not offering takeout because they're still expanding their kitchen capacity and waiting on additional ovens. They're focusing on providing the best possible experience for their dine-in guests first, which I actually respect. Once takeout becomes available, I'll definitely be ordering it, even if it means enjoying it in the curb while it's still hot! Every dish we ordered was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the attention to detail really shows. I wish the entire Truly Pizza team continued success, and I can only hope they open a location in Las Vegas someday. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

Finally got to try the pizza place that's been all over my Instagram! We came around 12:00pm on a Friday and they told us the wait was around an hour. I guess if it's popular you can expect a long wait time, so be prepared. For starters we got the house salad which was honestly not too impressive, basically just iceberg lettuce and some light dressing. However, they are known for their pizza and that did not disappoint. Our group of 4 split 3 pizzas and we took home leftovers. First, we ordered the Viola, a thin crust pizza which was super pretty and topped with flowers! But our favorites were the square pizzas, the Smoky Vodka and Suprema. The crust is fluffy, almost like a focaccia, and the flavor combinations were hitting. These pizzas made the wait truly worth it! We actually ordered our dessert before the meal , since the pizzas take about 30 minutes to cook after ordering. But we shared the soft serve the truly way, which comes with olive oil, salt, and lemon zest. This was very delicious, all the flavors paired very well and it was almost refreshing! Finally, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible service! They were very friendly and attentive. Our waiter even brought an umbrella to help shield us from the sun, which was much appreciated. Overall, I had a very nice experience here and would recommend!

We came in around 8:30p on a Sunday night hoping to get seated, however they said they had full reservations but the bar had some space. We ended up sitting at the bar, I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The service at the bar was really awesome and the bartender/server helping us was really attentive. I ordered a Paloma and my newly fiancé ordered a spicy watermelon margarita. The drinks were pretty good. I preferred his over mine. The Paloma had a blood orange taste that was interesting. The margarita didn't have much of a spice still really good. I really enjoyed the complimentary chips and the trio salsa black bean dip. The salsa could have had a little more spice. Entrees: we ordered the enchiladas divorciadas and the filet taquitos, everything was really delicious. I especially loved the green sauce on the cheese enchilada and the mole was perfect. The taquitos were just as good with a great amount of guacamole. The portions were a decent size. Overall it was a great experience and price point. I'll definitely be coming back the next time we are in Laguna and I'll be sure to make a reservation to get a table next time.
