    Smoky vodka pizza
    Whit 7.

Totally worth the wait!! This wasn't just pizza, this was the kind of meal that makes you immediately start planning your next visit before you even leave the table. We started with the Garlic Pull Apart Bread and the Wedge Salad and honestly, both were unreal. The bread disappeared in seconds and the wedge somehow made me question every other salad I've ever ordered. At that point, they already had me sold. Then came the pizzas: "Our Cheese" and the "Smoky Vodka." I genuinely did not think pizza could taste this good. Perfect crust, insane flavor, and the kind of balance where every ingredient actually matters. You can tell this place is obsessive about quality. If you're getting cocktails, order the Limoncello Spritz. Refreshing, bright, and dangerously easy to drink. Then somehow they still finished strong with the Soft Serve Ice Cream. Zero weak spots in this meal. Beautiful location, incredible food, and the entire experience was elevated by our server Joey, who absolutely nailed it from start to finish. Attentive, upbeat, and genuinely made the experience feel special. Rarely does a restaurant completely live up to the hype. This one exceeded it.

Truly pizza opened a new location in Laguna on PCH and of course I came running. The dana point location is a favorite of mine so I wanted to see how comparable it is. For starters, make reservations as walk in wait times can be atrocious especially on the weekends! Otherwise all seating is outside, charming and quaint. Aesthetically not as cute as Dana point but has its own charm. The only ding when we were first seated we waited about 15-20 minutes and noticed other tables seated after us getting serviced. A gal noticed and apologized, may have heard me comment, but she jumped in to take our drink order. Server came shortly after and apologized so no big deal. Otherwise food is delicious here and the wait time for food was standard. The food is same excellent quality as Dana point. Recommend any of their pizzas. All delicious! Pricing is on the higher end but worth it for the quality. Would recommend!

Wanted to see what all the hype was about at Truly Pizza and well... it actually lived up to it. The "paper thin" pizza was the star for me. I'm a NYC pizza person (think Jon's and Rubirosa), and this is probably the closest thing I've had to that style in OC. Super thin, crispy, light, and dangerously easy to keep eating. We also tried the square pizza and it was alright, but I personally didn't get the obsession over that one. If you're going, I'd definitely stick with the thin pies. One thing to know: reservations book out FAST, so plan ahead or be prepared to wait. Totally worth trying if you're into quality pizza with that New York-style vibe.

Of course I could've gone to the Truly pizza in Dana point but I live in Huntington Beach and it's so close to go to Laguna and I saw they were opening and I made a reservation three weeks in advance which I highly recommend. Joey was my server and he was so sweet and all of the hostesses were very sweet and kind, excellent service! Also I believe a manager came out to check on me halfway through my meal, which was really nice was telling me about the dessert which I did not order because I was too full, but I will get next time. I was by myself and I really wanted to try two pizzas but I realized I wouldn't be able to eat all of it lol! I ordered the Dante I really loved that it had chicken sausage and the sauce was really good and I liked that the crust is very thin but also crispy. I also ordered the chicken wings and I got the sauce on the side and the sauce was amazing and to be honest, I could've just eaten those chicken wings with nothing on them because they were so crispy and good. I had the sauces on the side ,harissa and the other was ranch, to be honest, I was also dipping my pizza in it! I ordered the Spagnola salad and it was so tasty. I love that they had the prosciutto around the bottom so you could just mix it in easily. The cheese was graded so fine and the dressing was so yummy. I did think the wine was a very small pour for the price so honestly, I probably wouldn't order wine again, but I ended up getting a cocktail that had hibiscus and it was very refreshing. I will definitely be returning to truly pizza. I want to try their sandwiches also.. the location is so adorable right next to urth Café on PCH and I parked in the Forest parking lot which was really easy to walk and a beautiful walk also.

What a TREAT it was to dine at the new Truly Pizza in Laguna Beach! Reservations were full but luckily they were taking walk-ins. I tried my luck on Mother's Day and put my name in around 11am, hostess said to come back at 2pm which I was happy to do. We got sat around 2:15pm, it's all outdoors but the ambience is really cute with the lemons and vines hanging down. I tried the limoncello spritz 7/10. They gave out free prosecco for the mothers which was nice. We shared the garlic pull apart bread which is just as delicious as everyone says it is, 10/10. And we got the spicy vodka pizza and added pepperoni, sooo good 10/10! For dessert we ended with the soft serve with chocolate sauce and Oreo cookies. Everything tasted great! Service was amazing from start to finish. The hostess, server, manager, bussers, everyone was accommodating and kind to us. We felt very taken care of, can't wait to go back!

We loved our time here! They have 3 different style pizzas. One is cracker-like which I didn't prefer but my friend said that was her fav. The round pizzas are thin as well but the crust still has the perfect chewy texture. My fav is the square because it's extra crispy but still chewy throughout. Their spagnola salad was delicious and I loved the Marcona almonds as a garnish. I also appreciate that they have yummy cocktails here as well. Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us on our choices for the night. The location is right on PCH but you hardly tell you're by the highway because of the ambiance of the restaurant.

4/29/26 Truly Pizza, I have been dreaming of the day it opens! It is everything that I had hoped for and MORE! Marvelous food offerings-so mouthwatering & bursting with flavor-spectacular views, attentive service, what more could you ask for? It's their soft opening & for the time, of all the ones I've attended, this flowed without a hitch. Thinking that a walk in was the way to go, Hubby & I were surprised at how busy they were and a reservation through Open Table was needed. I pushed through at 15 minutes til closing, hoping a cancellation would squeeze us in. As luck would have it, 5 minutes til closing-- we were let in--amazingly at the same table we used to sit when it was Number 3. Only front & back patio seating (who would want to sit inside?) --- you have to see for yourselves! Our server, Jay, was on top of things, welcoming & attended to us like we were his only customers. Please see photos/videos of our selection. Everything was topnotch, from the buffalo wings, Soagnola salad to the Pepperoni pizza-- it looks heavy but it light, crispy crust. Would love to return to try other delicious dishes on the menu. I'm blown away at the majestic transformation of this historical landmark house. This is something you would have to experience to believe. Phenomenal does not cover it. I was in awe with mouth agape (except when I was eating lol). Just GO, NOW GRAND OPENING May 7th 2026 Open Table []

Food was good and the ambiance was great it's a very pretty spot with great outdoor seating. The wait for walk in is always over estimated here they typically quote you double your wait time. Servers are still getting used to the flow so cut them a little slack. Overall the food was good although I will say that for the price and the wait I'm not sure I would come back here for any casual night/day out. The wings were good the pizza was nice and airy the pull apart bread was nothing special and the salad had nice flavors just too much ranch and too little of the aspects that gave it the sweetness.

This place is so beautiful The pizza is amazing (as always) and definitely lives up to the hype. I loved the outdoor setup with all the lemon trees--it genuinely feels like you're dining in a cozy backyard. They don't have their liquor license yet, but honestly didn't miss it at all. The mocktail selection is great. It's located near Urth Café, and street parking can be tough, so I'd give yourself ~15 minutes before your reservation just to be safe. It's hard to pick a favorite pizza because you really can't go wrong with any of them. And bonus! They reheat so well, so don't be afraid to over-order. I had leftovers the next day and it brought me right back to that dreamy garden We also brought our dog and they were so sweet!! Immediately brought her a water bowl. We drove down from LA and definitely will be coming down again before reservations get as crazy as their other location.

I didn't have the best experience at the Truly Pizza in Dana Point but I loved it here in Laguna Beach! I met the owner, Donna, and the GM, Bailey.,,both very sweet and accommodating. Mostly just a huge outdoor patio with white lights, but very little seating indoors (4/5) Our order: 4 pizzas, chicken wings, & wedge salad (4/5)

Went to Truly Pizza and honestly everything was incredible. The wait was a little long, but completely worth it. The pizza was SO good! Perfectly cooked, fresh, and one of those meals that leaves you feeling happy and satisfied after. The wedge salad is an absolute must, and the soft serve was seriously out of this world. What really made the experience even better was the service. Andrew and Trent were our waiters and they were amazing. Both were super polite, attentive, and just genuinely welcoming the entire time. The whole staff was wonderful and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. Overall such a great experience and definitely a place we'll keep coming back to!

Great experience. Made a reservation at the wrong location (Dana Point) however the host was so helpful and was able to get us a table around that time. So thankful for her. Service can be slow. But the food was amazing. We got the Picnic Plate, the Wedge Salad and Sweet and Spicy pizza. It was plenty for 4 people. Decorations were beautiful. Will come back to try more pizzas.

Laguna Beach, Ca. I came here with my wife based upon reports of great pizza from our neighbors. They were not exaggerating, there is indeed some great pizza to be had here. We took part in the preliminary opening, and so far they are taking off and running smoothly. The staff is really helpful and attentive. There is someone nearby often to address any concerns. Will all this staff be present after they open? The seating is in a large garden like patio area, a great relaxing setting, and the tables are well spaced. I know there is always someone that's too loud but today that person I was able to tune out. We started with a great salad featuring a thinly sliced prosciutto. It was great. I detected a slight glitch in the process when our pizza still hadn't arrived after 30 minutes. I'm guessing this will be remedied when they are officially open. Our second pizza arrived shortly after the first. We tried one square (Thick)(Suprema) and one round (Thin)(Dante). Both were delicious. I noticed our neighboring table had a pizza with impressive and ornate toppings, I want that next time. Our Dante was minimal with delicious but sparse sausage and a great sauce. Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of char. The Suprema was also quite excellent, topped with a small diameter pepperoni that did not dominate the over all flavor. The crust was so good I even ate the rinds, they provide a Ranch Dressing and a Hot Honey to dip these into. Irresistible! The Ranch is infused with dill and the hot honey with chili oil. One pizza is most likely enough for two people, but you can always box up the left overs. Save room for dessert! The ice cream with olive oil is a must!

Sweet and Spicy with pepperoni and sesame seed crust.

We never had to ask for anything because our needs were anticipated. Lastly, the food, we ordered several different things. The lobster bisque, Parkhouse rolls, octopus, the special of the day, which was tuna Hamachi. We also ordered the scallops, mushrooms, green beans, mashed potatoes and sea bass. The items that stood out the most were the lobster bisque. the Parkhouse rolls, the Seabass, the scallops and the Hamachi tuna. I was taken back that the octopus was fried and it was tough and had an interesting flavor. I'm used to octopus legs being grilled and tender, so I was quite disappointed with that. We also ordered a couple of cocktails that we weren't thrilled about. The flavors didn't work well together in the drink, but I did like how the glasses were ice cold I just wish the cocktails were more impressive. I feel like that's the gift and the curse. When you have a restaurant that is oceanfront. Typically oceanfront restaurants their food isn't that great because it doesn't have to be because of the ambience. The only place I've ever been where they had the oceanfront location and the food was amazing was Nobu Malibu specifically. I wouldn't mind coming back here for some light bites like I mentioned the lobster bisque and the rolls were tasty. Everything else was good, but not great for the price point.
