We were warmly greeted downstairs by Felix, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. After climbing a couple flights of stairs, we discovered the rooftop lounge. Don't laugh--they do have an elevator! I'm not sure how we missed it, but at least we got a little exercise in. Once upstairs, we were greeted by Everett, who was tending the bar. He took our order, offered excellent recommendations, and provided great service throughout our visit. The rooftop views were a plus. From our seats, we could see the water, which immediately caught my attention. While there are homes visible below, my eyes naturally gravitated toward the scenic waterfront views. The drinks were delicious, we opted for a Summers drink. The empanadas were tasty, especially the chicken, the beef was decent. Combined with great service and affordable prices, it made for an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back!

I would rate 5 stars for the great service and breathtaking view of the ocean breeze. Food is decent and the price is okay. I love the way they compromised the drink which had taken off the menu. Was a great met up with friend from Seattle.

I had a great time here. The views were stunning and the staff were very friendly. I got the cheeseburger and it was nice and juicy. The fries were very good too.

Parking is limited to metered street parking. The Rooftop Lounge is located inside La Casa Del Camino Hotel, and while the views are beautiful, the food wasn't that great. I visited for brunch and ordered the Avocado Toast, which was disappointing, especially for $19. It came on whole wheat bread, with one slice with avocado spread and the other with what seemed like cream cheese (though I wasn't entirely sure). I ended up having to assemble it myself. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was good, though. Overall, I'd come back for the view and maybe drinks, but not for the food. Recommendation(s): - Brussel Sprouts Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Street parking with a meter - Located inside the Casa Del Camino Hotel

Such a cool experience. A perfect, unobstructed view of the ocean while you enjoy good eats and yummy crafted cocktails. They even provide lap blankets upon request if and when you get a little chilly from the ocean breeze. It's at the tip of the La Casa de Camino hotel, which we were guests at for our anniversary, but most of the patrons at the lounge popped in from the street. It definitely felt like a locals spot. It was super busy, we were lucky to get a table. A destination spot for sure. I would return again when I'm in the area

    US Open at the bar

Great way to spend Father's Day weekend at the bar watching US Open. They have updated decor with shades of ocean blue. Menu and Food has also been updated. We loved the Mediterranean chop salad and the Spicy Fried Southern Chicken sandwich and it was delish! Brad was a great bartender too! One suggestion is to add custom chair pads to the bar seats to cover the gap for the high bar

The view and drinks here are unbelievable along with service. Their food options are ok, nothing special: guacamole had no flavor, seafood ceviche tasted blend, lacked seasoning. Will be back for the view, drinks and service again.

Great food, friendly service and amazing view of the sunset! Went right as the sun was setting and it was perfect! All the tapas we ordered were amazing!

Been here a couple times now. The food is decent. The service staff is definitely running 1000 miles per hour. Seems like this place is always understaffed. The view is amazing. Overlooking Laguna beach so you can't beat that. I'd recommend this place for grabbing a drink and seeing the sunset. Cheers.

    Food and drinks

Celebrating life! Amazing food, great drinks, friendly staff and overall good vibes Steve and Jim took great care of us. Looking for a great place to experience Laguna? This is it!

Sat at the bar and Brad the bartender was so great!!! So accommodative and helpful with drink selections! Also so great with asking our group our favorite music to play throughout the bar! Thanks Brad for a great experience! Will definitely be back to visit him!

This is the place to be for sunset with a cocktail in hand. We got a skinny margarita and an espresso martini both were good. We also got the coconut shrimp (yum) and the baked brie which was also good. The view is just too good from every angle you get gorgeous views of the ocean!

We got seated at our table at our table around 4:30p and had the most perfect view of the ocean! *we went on a Friday night and noticed the patio cleared out about 4:45-5pm and I didn't appear to have a lot of people waiting during that time. The main patio was covered with umbrellas, so once you are seated for dinner, there was plenty of umbrellas for shade and heaters for when it got a little cooler. For our food orders, and as recommended by our server, we went with their seafood options and ordered their Pacific Ceviche for an appetizer and for Entrees my husband got the Roasted Halibut and me and my mother-in-law both got the Scallop and Shrimp pasta. We all loved our dishes and were very satisfied with our choices. Their menu does have non-seafood options, but why not to try what they're most prominent for? They don't have a dessert menu, but they heard that we were celebrating mom's birthday so they brought us a little Toffee Cake to share and enjoy...and for a place that doesn't have dessert, the cake was pretty delicious. Such a cute place all around. My husband and I can't wait to go back! Parking - they have valet parking available right in front of the restaurant or theres street metered parking in the surrounding area.

I was really hoping for a great lunch, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing…read more The poke and mussels were actually very good, which makes it even more frustrating that the rest of the meal fell so short. I ordered the scallop and shrimp pasta, and on my very first bite of the scallop, it had a strong ammonia taste--a common sign that seafood has gone bad. After that, I completely lost my appetite and couldn't eat the rest of my meal. My daughter ordered the cioppino, and after checking the seafood in her dish, we noticed the scallop was also very rubbery and didn't seem fresh either. Fresh seafood is something restaurants should never compromise on. Based on this experience, I can't recommend eating here and would suggest trying another restaurant instead.

The owner served us initially, and he was really friendly and funny. We ordered a bottle of wine, and some cocktails. We put in some salads and an appetizer, they were really really good. But after that, our server (the owner we were told) left, and another server introduced himself. The new server was inattentive. He sat chatting with the other servers at the bar, leaving empty glasses and empty plates on the table. We had to flag him to come back to fill water. Having been myself in the service industry for years, my biggest pet peeve is when servers sit and chat where you can see them, and when they do come, they don't do a sweep and take care of things on the table. We had to put our empty glasses and trash on a side table. It was weird. The bolognese had hardly any meat in it. It was mostly tomato and onion. I've been to Argentina. Meat is a staple. Also weird. We ordered dessert and after waiting for 5-10 minutes, the server came back and told us they were missing crucial ingredients to make it. The owner came back at the end and was really gracious, but all in all, I think the execution was lacking. The service was not great. The food was 3.5/5 I love to support small business, perhaps we will try again another night.

I can only imagine how stunning it must be during breakfast or brunch hours. Definitely make a reservation, and valet parking is highly recommended since street parking can be a bit tight. Now, let's talk about the food... WOW! Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully crafted. You can tell a lot of creativity and attention goes into each plate. The cocktails were equally impressive--perfectly balanced and delicious. This is one of those places where the presentation is almost too pretty to eat! The only area with room for improvement is the service. While everyone was pleasant, the attentiveness didn't quite match the exceptional food and atmosphere. There were small details that were missed, such as delays in getting water, ordering drinks, and having silverware and a steak knife ready when the food arrived. Our server seemed a bit distracted and not as warm or engaging as expected for a dining experience of this caliber. That said, the food absolutely stole the show and made the evening memorable. With just a little more attention to service, this place could easily deliver a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. We had a reservation and were seated very quickly. While we waited for our table to be cleared, Ava, our host, was so sweet and personable. She took the time to chat with us, shared some of her favorite menu recommendations, and when she noticed us unsuccessfully trying to take a selfie overlooking the water, she kindly offered to take a photo for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel welcome. Throughout dinner, Jesse was assisting our table, and he was fantastic. He always seemed to appear at just the right time without ever feeling intrusive. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the evening. Our main server, Carson, was equally amazing. He was welcoming from the moment we sat down, incredibly attentive, and you could tell he genuinely cared about providing a great dining experience. His recommendations were spot on, he checked in on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever rushing us. The food was excellent. I absolutely loved the burrata salad, and my husband ordered the lobster bisque. At first, he thought the portion might be on the smaller side, but between the bisque and the bread, he ended up completely satisfied. Speaking of the bread--don't skip it! I ordered the grapefruit mimosa, which was refreshing, and my friend ordered a glass of wine. My friend ordered the poke nachos and I ordered the crab cake Benedict. What made it unique was that it skipped the traditional English muffin, allowing the crab cake to really be the star of the dish.
