    Brussel Sprouts

Parking is limited to metered street parking. The Rooftop Lounge is located inside La Casa Del Camino Hotel, and while the views are beautiful, the food wasn't that great. I visited for brunch and ordered the Avocado Toast, which was disappointing, especially for $19. It came on whole wheat bread, with one slice with avocado spread and the other with what seemed like cream cheese (though I wasn't entirely sure). I ended up having to assemble it myself. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was good, though. Overall, I'd come back for the view and maybe drinks, but not for the food. Recommendation(s): - Brussel Sprouts Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Street parking with a meter - Located inside the Casa Del Camino Hotel

Been here a couple times now. The food is decent. The service staff is definitely running 1000 miles per hour. Seems like this place is always understaffed. The view is amazing. Overlooking Laguna beach so you can't beat that. I'd recommend this place for grabbing a drink and seeing the sunset. Cheers.

This is the place to be for sunset with a cocktail in hand. We got a skinny margarita and an espresso martini both were good. We also got the coconut shrimp (yum) and the baked brie which was also good. The view is just too good from every angle you get gorgeous views of the ocean!

This place was hidden to get to(which is cute) but then the host stand is half way into the restaurant(which is confusing). They took our names and quoted us 25 minutes. 10 minutes later we got a text about our table being ready. They had made a table happen! Unfortunately it wasn't near the glass so there could be a view, but we were still grateful for having been seated sooner than quoted. We're sat. They bring waters. And then nothing. No one comes to check on us for maybe 10 minutes. At this point we're ready to place our orders. Finally, after our server has walked past us already like 3 times before, empty handed, the server comes and greets us, we tell her we're ready. In between then and when the food came she did not check on us once. Our waters were empty and the cup was scratched. When the food did come, the server didn't bring it. The host did. Then the server never came back for us to ask for sauce. Very inattentive. We had to ask for our server twice. had we gotten a good view I'm sure it would've been a little more worth it.

Rooftop Lounge is such a gem in Laguna Beach! The views alone are absolutely breathtaking -- cute local spot with ocean breeze, golden hour skies, and a coastal vibe that makes it feel like a mini vacation. We ordered the steak bites and wow -- delectable, perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. Birria tacos were excellent. I would just add the birria juices on the side for dipping. They had a delicious green salsa non spicy! Definitely a highlight of the evening. I also had the pomegranate martini and it was chef's kiss -- slightly tart with a sugar rim that balanced it out beautifully. So refreshing! Only reason it's not a full five stars is because the bread served with our baked brie had a few pieces that were moldy. Mistakes happen, and thankfully the staff corrected it right away without hesitation. They were kind and accommodating, but noticeably busy -- but they were decently fast. Overall, would absolutely come back. The ambiance and those coastal views are unmatched! Perfect spot for a sunset date night or chill catch-up with friends.

This spot is literally hidden above a boutique hotel, like a coastal speakeasy for people who brunch in linen. We wandered around like confused tourists for a second, but once we found it--WOW. Instant mood shift. Beach views for days. You could bring your situationship here and almost trick them into thinking you're classy. We came on a holiday weekend with no reservation and somehow got seated upstairs right away (bless the crowd gods). The space is on the smaller side, but tables are well spaced, and no one was breathing down our necks--10/10 for chillness. The food? Pricey, yes--but this is Laguna Beach, not Costco. * The wonton tacos with ahi tuna were crispy, fresh, and the kind of bougie bite-sized thing you eat with your pinky slightly lifted. * The whipped ricotta and pita was decent--nothing mind-blowing, but it gave the table something to dip into while making beachy small talk. * The guava meatballs were juicy, delicious, and dangerously easy to inhale. * The potato wedges with mystery aioli? Crispy. Golden. Basically the Beyoncé of the table. But let's talk about the real MVP: the margarita tree. Yes, TREE. Complete with mini Patron bottles hanging like citrusy ornaments from heaven. Each flavor was fun and festive--like a boozy holiday for your mouth. Perfect spot for a daytime hang, casual drinks with friends, or a first date where you want to look like you have your life together (even if you're spiraling inside). Will definitely be back for more margs and meatballs.

Came here on the 4th of July to celebrate, they're one of the very few places open today! The view is absolutely gorgeous, high above the local houses overlooking the ocean and all of Laguna Beach. We got a few appetizers and a burger with a side salad to share. Started with the ceviche which was very fresh and delicious. If you like beef don't skip the steak skewers, they were really good with a refreshing side of cucumber salad and fried onions. Ordered the brusslels sprouts that were very tasty if not a bit unconventional with raisins. If you like brussels sprouts then get them, you won't be disappointed. Finished the apps with their smokey chipotle wings. They were a bit sweet with a nice little kick, came with a side of veggie sticks and ranch. Great start to the meal! For the main we split a double smash burger with a side caesar salad. The burger was cooked nicely with a good crust and flavor. The caesar was very good with parmesan crusted house made croutons, and the caesar dressing was delicious. We made reservations and they seated us quickly. Definitely make a reservation as the space fills up easily. The server Phillip was very nice and on top of everything. He took a few pics for me and my fiancé to commemorate the afternoon. Great food, amazing view, awesome service! We'll definitely visit the Rooftop Lounge more in the future!

I really didn't care for this place. The food was very mediocre and the restaurant itself looks a bit older/run down than the photos everyone posts. On top of that, all the staff are very young.. which is fine if you're on top of it, but the service was slow and our waitress didn't have a very positive attitude. The boys were nice, helping with our umbrella that kept bouncing up and down, but nonetheless, maybe get some older waitresses/waiters depending on what kind of customers you want to bring in. Presentation wise the food was eh. The worst item was the asian salad (very interesting as I'm not sure how you mess up a salad...) The cabbage seemed boiled. It was bland and soggy. I wouldn't come back. I would've thought the views or atmosphere would make up for it, but I also didn't care for it.

Latest visit was very nice! Service was superb and the view is as always very stunning! Happy hour specials are on both food and drinks! The food options are pretty good and reasonably priced. There are heat lamps to keep warm on a cold day, loved that. Service was fast efficient and friendly. Parking was not too bad on the street during weekdays.

Check out The Rooftop Lounge We had a great server. Very pleasant. Thanks Andrea for giving us some great customer service. This was my first visit. It's in scenic Laguna Beach right off Pacific Coast Highway. I ordered the crab cakes, pretzels bites and coconut shrimp. Everything was so flavorful and tasted incredible . I'll absolutely be back to try more dishes.

AMAZING! So my mom is a regular here to have drinks apps etc so she asked me if I wanted to go so I said yes and omg the view at the roof top is unreal 180 degrees views of the ocean food was beyond delicious got a little of everything ceviche guac feta and hummus and my main meal was the chicken sandwich was probably the best grilled chicken sandwich I have ever had if your like me and don't like thick pieces of chicken this is your spot!! I will definitely be back food view and service all amazing!

Came here on a Friday night in March. Know it's not really peak time for rooftop bars in Laguna but thought I'd still swing by. We got there around 7pm and our server (Tyler) told us when we sat down that last call is in 30 min. Wow, last call at 7:30pm on a Friday night? Kinda sucks. Looking back I can understand their point of view since this bar does reside in a hotel and people on the rooftop above someone's hotel room Is understandably noisy. Tyler was an ok server, smelled like a Hollister (sorry dude but pls lay off alittle bit). We also ordered 2 drink and some fry's and he had us repeat it. lol like he wasn't listing the first time. Drinks were good and fry's were ok. Ambiance is also pretty relaxing. Last call being 7:30pm, Tyler not listening/smelling like Hollister and fry's being mid is why I Gota put 3/5 stars down. Not my top choice in rooftop bars in laguna.

    Picture says it all

Visited for the fist time a few months back and we're now regulars! Amazing views (time your visit to watch the sunset), fun vibe, drinks are always a win and food is tasty (shoutouts to the coconut lime margaritas and shrimp cocktail!). Last night we had Jameson for a server who was thorough and didn't miss a thing! The manager Rachel keeps the lounge well staffed with fun and energetic people. So I highly recommend you check the weather report, look for a clear evening, bring a sweat shirt and have a great night up top.

The owner served us initially, and he was really friendly and funny. We ordered a bottle of wine, and some cocktails. We put in some salads and an appetizer, they were really really good. But after that, our server (the owner we were told) left, and another server introduced himself. The new server was inattentive. He sat chatting with the other servers at the bar, leaving empty glasses and empty plates on the table. We had to flag him to come back to fill water. Having been myself in the service industry for years, my biggest pet peeve is when servers sit and chat where you can see them, and when they do come, they don't do a sweep and take care of things on the table. We had to put our empty glasses and trash on a side table. It was weird. The bolognese had hardly any meat in it. It was mostly tomato and onion. I've been to Argentina. Meat is a staple. Also weird. We ordered dessert and after waiting for 5-10 minutes, the server came back and told us they were missing crucial ingredients to make it. The owner came back at the end and was really gracious, but all in all, I think the execution was lacking. The service was not great. The items that stood out the most were the lobster bisque. the Parkhouse rolls, the Seabass, the scallops and the Hamachi tuna. I was taken back that the octopus was fried and it was tough and had an interesting flavor. I'm used to octopus legs being grilled and tender, so I was quite disappointed with that. We also ordered a couple of cocktails that we weren't thrilled about. The flavors didn't work well together in the drink, but I did like how the glasses were ice cold I just wish the cocktails were more impressive. I feel like that's the gift and the curse. When you have a restaurant that is oceanfront. Typically oceanfront restaurants their food isn't that great because it doesn't have to be because of the ambience. The Food: The food is good, though I wouldn't necessarily call it great. It's reliable and tasty enough, but the view is definitely the primary draw here. The Cons: Be prepared for a wait. It is a very popular local hangout, and there are often a lot of regulars who take up the seating near the entertainment. If you're heading there for dinner, expect to wait at least an hour for a table. Overall, it's a pleasant experience if you aren't in a rush and want a front-row seat to the coast!

And Macadamia Chicken $33.00 Succulent chicken breast crusted with macadamia, with a delicate champagne cream sauce and garnished with fresh mango and papaya. The views are great at this restaurant. It was super sunny which made it hot but, the server accommodated us and put up the umbrellas which made it comfortable. Another person in our party dinner was not satisfactory so the server took it off our bill. This was really appreciated and unexpected. Great place to enjoy if you want to eat outside.

We stumbled upon this place for an early dinner and loved the huge window views in the dining room…read more Looking at the menu we weren't too impressed and the waitress said they are in the process of making a new menu. We ordered some sushi and sashimi which had huge thick cuts of fresh fish and the Chilean sea bass. Everything was fresh, we just wish there was a little more to offer in choices of entrees and appetizers. Next time we would love to go to the bar area that had the vibes of a lounge as they played R&B music starting at 7:30pm. Overall the restaurant had a beautiful view and great for watching sunset with a drink in hand.

Ambiance- 5/5 Beautiful and ocean front views…read more Nice decor Service -4/5 Friendly and fairly attentive would have appreciated a check in after entrees came out Also had to ask twice about someone's glass of wine that hadn't arrived in quite sometime (while other cocktails had come out) Food-2/5 Came here for my birthday with a group of friends on a Saturday night It wasn't crowded (we did make a reservation and asked for indoor) Oysters-2/5 I love oysters but these tasted more fishy than normal and weren't well shucked (small pieces of shell and still partially attached to the shell ) Sea bass-5/5 a couple of people ordered this and it was delicious and perfectly cooked (I tried a couple bites!) Halibut-2/5 all 3 of us who ordered this all agreed it was dry and overcooked. Didn't want to send it back since we'd have to wait and the other people's food came out fine but do nearly $52 it was very disappointing Drinks-4/5 Lola- too sweet for my taste, pretty much tasted like juice but it was pretty! Smoking angels- very good!! Loved the drink and the presentation Espresso martini- excellent, well made Also disappointing they don't do anything for birthdays. My friends wanted me to have a candle so we had to order a dessert (and pay for it). I'll be going elsewhere for future special occasions and will likely stick to just going to their bar going forward
