What I asked for, what I got, and what I got when I went back. Don't go to this nail salon. Literally every nail salon in corona is better. When I first went in, the nail tech told me he could do the short french tip with gold. After he destroyed my cuticles and set the first layers of translucent pink, he brought me the gold gel that they had, which was only glitter. I trusted him to make it work. I thought it looked a little plain so I asked him to do a holly design (literally just three dots) as an accent nail. He started designing and ended up with this horrendous bow. I thought it looked bad so I asked him to put a gold gem in the middle. He said he didn't have gold so he'd give me silver. Ok. Then he added the things on the bottom in an attempt to make it look more complete. They charged me $40 for this. I also got a $30 pedicure. This is the first time I've ever hated my nails this much, but I was just going to suck it up and chalk it up to me not being assertive. But then, after I got home, I looked down and my pedicure had somehow completely smudged off of my big toe. I had let it dry for 20-30 minutes before leaving. I don't know what kind of polish or top coat that they are using that doesn't dry in that amount of time, but I decided to call them back and they agreed to fix it. When I got back, the same guy started working on my nails again. He told me he could just make the whole nail gold. I told him that was fine and to just take the accent nail off, but again, the polish was too opaque for it and it looked like I just put on a couple coats of cheap polish at home. So I asked if I could just do all red to match my pedicure. He said he could, and then proceeds to take the gems off with so much force that he made my cuticles bleed. But whatever, I get it. My nails are short. But then he just starts to put the red polish directly on top of the already thick finished manicure I have. This is when I finally spoke up. I asked him if he was really going to put 3 more layers on top of a now 5 layer gel manicure when they already seemed really thick. He begrudgingly started fucking away at my nails, this time hitting each of my cuticles way too hard and again, making them bleed. After I asked, he refunded me $5 since I didn't have a design on them anymore. The finished product is okay, but not great. The sparkles can still be seen under the red, which would be neat if the sparkles were even, but they are not. My cuticles are still hurting pretty badly today and I already have a chip on my thumb nail. Also, I didn't notice until I got home, but they didn't cap my toenails, so I'm sure they will start chipping soon too. The whole experience was terrible and I'm really surprised they are in business. $75 in total after tip is not a small amount to be paying a salon around the holidays, and they just simply did not meet the mark. Before anyone says anything negative, my nails were already short when I came in. This all could have been avoided if he had simply told me that he couldn't do the French tip with the gels that they had. I would have chosen red right from the beginning. read more

Been here a couple times since moving to the area. I'm sorry to read some of the bad reviews, but so far my pedicures and gel nails have turned out perfect! My nails grow out about every 4 weeks, and never chipped before going back. They also did a great job on my husband. Everyone there is nice and we had fun talking and laughing. Prices in line with other salons. Looking forward to the next trip there! read more

This place does a terrible job. I've never been more upset with my acrylic nails. He tried making me pay 23 dollars. I had to pay 18 honestly if the manager reads this I want my money back. You for real messed up my nails and now I have to go pay to get them fixed somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Very disappointed. Been coming here for a year and haven't had a bad experience until recently. Had my nails done by the gentleman and the whole time he was looking at the front door and seemed more concerned with the other gal technicians. I rarely get my nails done and would have appreciated having the attention to me and my nails. My Nails are crooked, not filed correctly, cuticles not trimmed and painted horribly. I feel I wasted $40 completely because I could have done a better job myself. Just disappointed and upset. This just shouldn't happen. read more

Gel manicure started coming off the next day. Came here since it was convenient. Won't be coming back ever.

Thank you Mai for such a wonderful pedicure today! Great service and very nice people working here! I'll be back in 3 weeks

Talk about sneaky crooks! My experience was several weeks ago. I phoned to see how much a full set would cost and I was told it was $35 for a full set. Ok- I made an appointment. When I arrived, one of the employees immediately gave me the nail polish swatch pallet to choose a color while I wait. (No mention of additional fees at this time) Looking around the shop, I noticed a sign with the list of services; full set was listed as $32 starting. (I was told $35) I do understand most shops do charge by the length of the nail, mind you the nail length I chose was very short, the length of the nail barely peeking out 1/2 an inch. So once The tech was done with my simple mediocre full set, she proceeds to charge me $50! I told her that I was quoted $35 over the phone and what is the reason for the jump in fees? She tells me that due to the gel polish is why it's now $50. I was baffled with her answer. I told her I was not told that it would be an additional $15 as the only swatches they presented me were all and only the polishes they had me choose from. An additional $15 for polish is laughable! Every nail shop I go to mainly only use gel polish with no additional hidden fees. I refused to give them more money for their deceitful reasons. I did notice that their add-on hidden fees obviously has worked out for them, as earlier during my session, a teenage girl sitting next to me was caught by surprise with her fees but yet paid anyway and left, I'm sure they do this often! So during my dispute with the gal, another employee tells me "no problem, I'll just remove the polish from your nails and put the regular nail lacquer on your fingernails instead" I told her she's out of her freaking mind if she thinks I'm going to wait another 30 minutes for them to file off the new polish from my hands and put another polish for their so called "error". I am not a naïve teenager that will go along with their bullsh;t!!! I left them exactly $35 - AND ZERO TIP for being so deceptive and sneaky! It's too bad that these people are so conniving and dishonest! Now I see why they have such bad ratings on Yelp and don't bother to claim their own business here. I will never come back to these lying swindlers! People like this are not the kind I would continue to give my business too! read more

Came for a pedicure last Friday and I haven't been to this salon in months but I needed it ASAP and I've been happy with their service before. Unfortunately I had my pedicure done by the gentleman with blue eyes and my toes were chipping the very next day. Not even a week later and this is how my toes look smh. read more

So I gave this place a couple of shots, my manicure i got took 2 hours.. not sure why as i didn't add anything special to it. Then a month later I got my acrylics done with Kim. She was a very nice nail technician but when I went to pay she charged me 10 extra for cuticles cut even though they weren't cut during the service.. anyways i was fine with paying extra as i'm not going to make a scene over that.. their card machine wasn't working (this is the second time this happened) so i explained that i needed to get cash out next door at vons. The manager who I was never told the name of was very upset and stared me down asking why i couldn't use credit. Anyways she asked me to leave my phone, then I came back for my phone because i realized i needed to use it for apple pay. Then she asked not only for me to leave my ID but my apple watch too! I don't know why she asked this but the customer service was terrible and I felt humiliated. I ended up using credit because I wasn't able to get cash out. Anyways it was $45 for acrylics, $10 extra for magnetic nail polish, $10 for cuticles trim (even though they were not even cut I am looking at my cuticles right now) and i still tipped $10 because Kim worked on my acrylics for a very long time. So in total it was $77 and I am not a happy customer and won't be back especially after seeing a review where someone had second degree burns on feet! I've avoided this salon due to the reviews. I gave it a shot because it is so close to home and open extended hours/ weekends for walk ins. I got a pedicure. The person helping me did a decent job, and was extremely nice. They were very gentle and didn't cut me when removing cuticles. That's the reason for 3 stars instead of one. I will never return here because I don't believe they're sanitary and it's actually quite alarming. I'll explain. I was seated immediately and noticed the chairs aren't very clean, this didn't make me want to leave, but as I was sitting down I noticed the tools (nail clippers, cuticles remover etc) in my technicians cart had someone else's nails and skin on them. I asked if they would get clean tools and they said yes. After removing my nail polish, they reached for the nail clippers and almost used them on me until I corrected them. I asked if they open new tools for each customer. Again they said yes, but that they needed to go to their car to get the new/ clean tools. At this point I called AMY over because she seemed to be the one in charge and this was my first visit. I explained that the tools were dirty she said they use clean tools each time, I asked why my tech had to get clean tools from their car.. she tried to make excuses like they were getting gloves or forgot something... at this point people are looking at me, I took my feet out of the water and put my sandals on, and my tech re-entered the room with clean tools in the new packaging. I was so uncomfortable and didn't know what to do. So I allowed them to finish the pedicure after explained I did NOT want to get an infection and verifying the tools were in fact new... The chairs are old, the water is cold, and the tools were dirty. The hours are great, convenient location and nice people. If they had the right management this place could make tons of money, there is a need for this service. I'm not buying that they use clean tools on everyone. Everything in my technicians cart looked dirty, when the acetone etc.... read more

This is my "local" shop, just half mile from my house and I've only been 3x in the last 4 years. I tried it again for a gel manicure. Went in on Thursday and by Sunday I had two nails already chipped. Two days later, two more nails. I had to get a polish change ust 6 days later with 5 chipped polish nails. Not sure if it was because of bad product or bad workmanship but probably the worse manicure I've had. Would not recommend. read more

This review is in regards to one person. I've been here a few times for mani/pedi's and all was great. No problems. I decided for a full set and was incredibly disappointed. It was done by the male "manager" type guy. He clearly doesn't know how to do acrylics and was rude when I asked him to fix little things I kept seeing wrong. He called me picky. I gave up. I ended up going somewhere else the next day and having them removed. I recommend if you go here to not allow this guy to do your nails. read more

Don't waster your time or money here! Walked in at 10 and they asked me to wait 40 minutes. I told them that I would be back in 40 minutes. I came back and they put me at a station where I had my feet soaking for the next 45 minutes. Once they finally started, it took an 1 hour and 20 minutes for a regular manicure and pedicure. My daughter had a gel pedicure but they didn't use the UV Light....they were busy and trying to rush by taking short cuts. Very disappointing after waiting so long. Do not go here!! I asked for a ballerina slipper shaped nail and had a picture and everything and the technician said she could do it. She kept getting frustrated because her brush had dried acrylic in it. After getting the acrylic on I noticed they were paper thin, these will most likely break at the slightest bump. She started shaping them and she filed my pinky nail so much on one side and left the other side straight, after explaining to her several Times I told her I was done I'm not comfortable with her getting frustrated and not listening to me. I asked for another technician and a man took me. He was getting the shape down a little better but they're still not exactly what I wanted. All of them are crooked and it looks like there's regrowth already. None of them are uniform and they are very poorly done. I refuse to go back here simply because of the mannerisms and rude attitude of the salon. They were all speaking their language and then staring at me like I'm the asshole because I want my nails done right. I could have done it better myself. I just moved to the neighborhood and was so excited to have a true touch nail salon by my house and I will not ever waste my money here again. On top of that I was there for almost three hours and paid full price. Never again. read more

I lived in the area for 2 years now and every time I would book they would set me up an appointment I'll arrive and they'll still have me waiting an additional 25 mins I'll end up leaving. Did this maybe about 5 times, why would I still go to them? Well bc I didn't want to drive further and will still end up leaving smh. So when I needed an urgent full set I came they took me in finally as it was empty, I ask for one color and short nails with 1 diamond on each finger, guess what the nail lady said only 1 diamond on my index finger bc it looks better. Even though I insisted I wanted them on all of them it was her word against mine, she seem lazy didn't want to give me what I was going to pay for. She charge me 60$ for such basic nails plus $5 tip and I paid with debit card they said $1 fee turns out the next day I got charge an additional $2.99 debit fee usage by them! This nail salon is complete garbage. They sat me fairly quickly. I got a pedicure and a manicure. The lady Vicky didn't even scrub my foot on the bottom and my toes looked horrible. I told her but she fixed them the best she can. And don't even get me started with the stupid guy that did my nails. He had asked me if I was going to Mexico after this! What the hell?! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The lady cut my skin in my big toe so bad on my pedicure, trying to get my ingrown toenail out that I couldn't wear regular shoes. It's going to be infected for sure. I was iffy about coming to this place at first due to the reviews, but I gave it a shot. I've gotten my nails done here a couple of times and so far, I love it! The nail techs are very nice, they greet you as soon as you enter the door. One time they gave all the customers water, which I thought was very kind and considerate of them since it was a hot day. I was here today and an inexperienced lady removed my dipped nails by ripping them off instead of soaking them. My nails are in so much pain and little bits of blood appeared. I am 18 years old and have been getting my nails done for 6 years and have never had this experience. Unfortunately due to time constraints and i am leaving out of town tomorrow I did not speak up and stop the process. When i left there and got in the car and started crying over the pain, i knew it was my bad for not speaking up. I came home and my mom was so upset over my tears. She called and asked them what the policy was for removing dip nails and they said "soaking them in acetone". When she asked why they thought it was a good idea to pyre her daughters off instead of soaking them they suddenly said "Well there is two ways to remove them". Besides the inadequate removal, another tech. re-applied over my sensitive nails and the application is very thin and my nails are in so much pain. My mom requested them to at a minimum give me a refund (because there is NO WAY they can touch my nails again) and they said no they did nothing wrong and of course denied any wrong doing. I will be down to take a photo this week of the license of the girl who performed the removal and reporting her and the salon to the CA licensing board. They should perform a check in this establishment. This was not only unsanitary, the phone conversation was absolutely a desperate plea to protect themselves. Very sad. We all make mistakes, but its how you fix them that matters. I should have never ventured outside of the normal establishment we use (Circle City). They are very high volume there and never have jeopardized our health. Lesson learned, I was in a rush to get them done and my best friend preferred this place. I also should have been vocal about my discomfort at the time of the removal. But for the removing tech to say there was no blood and the lady on the phone to say im a liar, i told her i would be sure and yelp about it. I hope you all stay away. There are so many better options in Corona. read more

I wanted to love this place so much! We live nearby and it is so convenient. We have gone four times, and only had one positive experience. The first time I went was ok (all polish was chipped off within two days). The second time, I brought my daughter for our last date before her baby brother was born. Two regulars came in shortly after we got there, and they tended to them first while my four year old and I waited with my feet in cold water (38 weeks pregnant) for almost an hour. The actual pedicure and manicures were fine, with the exception of my daughter asking for a flower on her toenail (which other salons have done) and she was told that they didn't draw flowers, then they attempted a heart. The third time, I had my eyebrows done and I was really impressed with how they looked. I went back again for my eyebrows today, and the sweet lady who waxed them didn't seem to know what she was doing. She spent 5+ minutes plucking them after she waxed them. When she showed me the mirror, they looked spotty- just entire chunks taken out. When I told her that they didn't look right, she said, "they look great!" And when she went to ring me up, I mentioned, as nicely as possible, again that they didn't look good and she just continued ringing me up. I have never left a negative yelp review for anywhere, and I honestly feel so bad doing so, but I think it's important to share my experience. read more
