I walked in, while waiting between my sons baseball games. The service seemed great at first as everyone was nice. But the paint job was terrible. I didn't really notice at first, but she missed the tip of both my big toes, which caused them to both chip off the same day. I would not return to this place again. There are so many places close to choose from for next time. Also, I picked out a color originally, bc it looked cute on the shelf. But it looked gray once she applied it or one toe, so she was nice and took it off. The list she gave me was not gel, which I was not aware of until she finished painting. I came here for a manicure/ pedicure. It's not the best nail salon. But it was close to where I was staying at the time. I think the reviews speak for themselves. If you can go somewhere else, then do that. But if you are limited on time and have to get your nails done here, then this is an okay option. The salon at Central Nails Spa is not the cleanest. Some of the chairs were worn down/ older. Some of the massagers didn't work. It just seemed a little bit run down almost. Still got the job done for the mani/ pedi. Just doesn't give you a luxury type of feel. It's more of a sweatshop vibe? I don't know how to describe it. But if you want that luxurious feel while you are getting pampered, I'd suggest going elsewhere. :) read more

I stopped going here about 5 years ago. Their technicians are nice ESPECIALLY the men, but they're techniques and style are so outdated. Their quality is horrible. They can't shape or polish and the worst part is they'll tell you they can do something knowing good and well they can not. This shops need an face lift and better technicians. Technicians that are up on the styles and techniques. I felt like I was walking into 1981 every time I entered the shop. Nails have been around too long to be this outdated. They were good with my child's pedicure however my nails came out horrible! The lady tried blaming me for having dip powder prior and choosing white. Excuse me? You're supposed to be the professional!!! Waste of money and my total was $90 bucks! But the lady before me who had the exact same service was $65... horrible place never coming back. I came here twice and had good experiences with Ryan. However, this time, I just wanted to get an acrylic fill for $14, as listed on their menu. I ended up paying $30 including tip. I never said I wanted a gel color, but they assumed I wanted it and by the time I knew it was gel, the older lady painting my nails had already finished. And she didn't even paint my nails completely, which is why I'm so upset. I paid $30 for my nails to look like crap and they aren't even fully painted, which should be the easiest part. I hate to leave bad reviews but I just could not get over how disappointed I was with this place. I chose this nail salon for two reasons: 1) I was in the area for lunch and 2) it seemed to have fairly decent reviews. But I have to agree with most of the negative reviews when I say this place is just gross and unprofessional. Upon arriving, I walked into a completely empty salon. One woman (the only employee there at this point) popped out of her waxing booth, asked what I wanted, and proceeded to tell me that they could help me if I could wait 5-10 minutes for someone to come in, after calling them to see if they could even come in. This wasn't a problem, most places have you wait a bit if you don't have an appointment. But 5-10 minutes turned into 15, and eventually Ryan came hurrying in around 20 minutes with another, older man. He then completely rushed through my gel manicure leaving a very patchy job, jagged nails where they weren't filed correctly, and quite a few bumps. There were a few times where he wasn't even looking at my nails while he was working. At one point, he spoke with the older man he came in with and it seemed the man was irritated, even thrusting a pointed finger at me. It was such a terrible job and horrible customer service. Apart from the service and gel manicure, this place is so dirty. Outdated furniture and furnishings, torn chairs and table cushions, dirty walls and ceilings. I smushed three ants crawling on my arm while I was waiting for someone to arrive. The older man took off his sandals and put his very visibly dirty feet on two separate spa pedicure chairs and their clean towels. The worst was the bathroom: I opened the trash can to dispose the paper towel and several gnats flew out at me and you could just smell the old food inside. I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone. The only reason I give this place 1 star is because a lovely piano version of "Colors of the Wind" played on their sound system while I was waiting. read more

I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. The woman who did my pedicure took her time and did an amazing job but when she put the cream for the callus remover it started to burn incredibly. I put my foot back in the water and it relieved some of the burn. The gentleman who did my gel manicure was on his phone for a long time. He asked if I wanted a nail cut and i said yes. My natural nails were long and he made them very short. Right before he was going to put the gel nailpolish I asked him to please file my nails more because all my nails were different shapes and lengths. I asked him two occasions and both times he did not do very well making them even. read more

I think I have been to 5 different salons and I have to say so far this is the best! The salon is small but they provide a variety of services. All the staff (Khara, Ryan and Jenny) were incredibly nice, personable, and professional. Let's get down to what the real review is, nails. I got a full set, and pedicure. My pedicure (white tip) done by Jenny was perfect. The polish was not crooked, and she painted very fast. Khara did my full set and I think the picture speaks for itself. They are flawless. Very upset with how this business is conducted. A male technician did my nails and an older female did my toes. Both were very sweet but not very experienced. My nails were very thick and chunky. He placed the nail tip too low on my natural nail. I have already had 2 break and one come off completely. I had asked for several things to be fixed while in the process. I went to another salon and had them fixed. I returned to the initial salon asking for a partial refund and she refused and said she'll fix my nails and toes. read more

The staff here is nice, very welcoming. As for the work they do a good job and take their time. I'm very happy with the quality of work and service. They have a small staff so appointments are highly recommended. They take walk ins but expect to wait a while unless you are lucky and they have cancellations. Will be coming back! read more

When I ask for something she doesn't quite know how to do, she makes the effort to attempt it and if it does not work out, she fixes it. She is always open to new suggestions and also open to learning how to do new styles. Honestly, Khara is so friendly and I will recommend her and this salon to everyone from everywhere. Khara is the manager of this establishment and I have so much respect for how much she does for her clients and the salon as a whole. Just as an example, once when she was doing my nails, she was also installing a candy machine to help children with cancer. Nail techs were friendly. But the 2 stars is because of the price. 66$ for a spa pedicure #3 (which is only 26$ but I was quickly talked into gel polish for my toes) and a 20$ gel manicure. Yikes!! The professionails across the street only charges 45$ for both so it was an extra 20$ for a gel pedicure? That seems a bit outrageous. Should have went with my gut and went to the other shop. The paint job on my feet is average. Certainly not worth 46$. And the gel manicure is less than average. I felt as if he rushed to get to his returning client but he failed miserably because he lost a potential returning client and possibly others after reading my review.
