Found my new nail salon! I had an amazing experience here today for my first visit. They are a new salon that is super clean and has tons of gel, dip, and matching polish options! Casey did my gel mani today and did a fabulous job. I asked for a design and she literally did exactly what I showed her. She gave really good recommendations on what color would be best and suggested I used hot gel under my gel mani so I could keep my natural nails long and super strong. My pedi was good too, massage felt amazing. Brand new spa chairs spaced out nicely. Employees wore masks. Bring cash for tip or they have an atm there to withdraw cash with only 50 cent fee! So so happy to have this salon in my area! read more

This place is new and clean but a little pricey. I was really excited to come here because it's literally down the street. I've been here twice now and they were really busy, but still managed to have me seated pretty quickly. They have a lot of great colors and are familiar with a lot of the new trends and shapes. If I decided to go anywhere else, it would be because I didn't want to pay so much. Price wise - I asked for a fill with gel nail polish and 2 diamonds and a pedicure with regular polish. $70 Last visit price wise - I asked for a full set with gel polish and 2 tier pedicure with regular polish $85 Also, bring cash or check for the tip or else you might feel obligated to use there ATM machine. read more

The salon is IMMACULATE. It's in a new suite in a new building with everything clean, sterilized, and organized. The spa chairs and manicure stations are sufficiently spaced for social distancing. The overall area of the salon is much wider compared to other salons that feel like a cramped hallway. Kelly is my nail tech. I actually followed her from another salon because she is an absolute artist. And the rest of the staff is highly skilled and simply pleasant like the customer service at Chick-fil-A. nail salon: is clean and yes they are friendly BUT I'm surprise that I paid this much for fake nails that are so short. First of all I showed the guy what I wanted. Then when it came to the color he swears I only had two options of nude one clear and another pink! Whatever, I don't know if I annoyed him because I was like Um that all you have? He replied yes and gives me to the owner who is super nice. She does my design but when I get to the car I notice the polish is ruined on my thumb. I didn't have the energy to go back and I will never come back because I paid 95 in total for a basic pedi $25 added 10 minutes massage so additional $10 (that's an ok price) but my acrylic nails that are short, color isn't on right and not shaped right $60 is not ok. read more

Kayla is still my go-to girl after all this time. Always a beautiful set and great with waxing too! I get hot gel with or without translucent pink on top. I love the natural look that Kayla is able to achieve, especially because nail techs tend to make my nails huge and clunky. I get sooo many compliments with Kayla's work. She's the best. read more

Don't come here if you can drive down the street or the next city over! Rude and they don't do a good job! Oh, if you make them do it right they just talk shit about you so save your money or go elsewhere! The owner knew I was upset and didn't give a shit!, I live 2 minutes away and would rather drive an hour somewhere else then to deal with these rude people! They don't do a good job at all, except for the tall man doing pedicures. He was good. Not to mention I specifically told them I needed a long nails specialist! They gave me the oldest lady who obviously can't see shit! I'm so upset because I have a wedding and she knew that too!!!!! read more

Went for a pedicure on Sunday! They were open and I called for appointment and Tony did a good relaxing pedicure. I then asked if he had time for a manicure and he happily continued with me in the massage chair. He did a gel polish on my hands and they came out beautifully with no mess. Thank you I'll be coming back regularly. Prices were average for the area, shopping center was nice and quiet with lots of parking. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for almost a year now. The location is really convenient for me but what makes me keep on coming back is their work. I've had different nail technicians do my gel manicure and pedicure and they all do a great job! I always make an appointment so I don't have to wait but I've seen walk ins get serviced with minimal wait. The last time I went, I got a full set. Kelly did my nails perfectly! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she definitely NAILED it! I will make sure to schedule with her when I get acrylic nails. Pricing is comparable to other nail salons. They only take cash but they have an ATM machine on site so that makes it convenient. read more

I would give my pedicure a 5 star. No gel just polish. $60.00 My fill for acrylics and gel was a whopping $40.00 wow When I went to pay first the lady said $95.00 than spoke to the male receptionist and than said $100.00. Wow that would make it over $200.00 a month plus tip. Outrageous. If you want us to shop local and support local businesses you need to have better prices. The same pedicure elsewhere is no more than $45.00. Sorry won't be back. Way too expensive. I also want to say male nail tech and male pedicure tech NEVER spoke one of english to me acknowledged me except to comment how cute my 4 yo is. This is America and with American patrons I would expect them to speak English. We are not in asia.... and no I'm not being racist. Just feel like our hard earned money is good enough but yet they can not engage in simple conversation, doesn't make ya feel very appreciated. read more

I been going to this nail salon since they open. I go there coz it's closer to home. I takes alot for me to give a negative review. A few times they did my acrylic nails it wasn't very nice given the fact I pay so much money and not getting a good nails. I'm not the kind of person to complain. But this time I decided to write a review coz i went there March 11 to get my nails done. They had a guy do my nails even though he only does pedicure. But they know I don't complain so they let him do my nails. Two days later my acrylic came of so I went back to get it fix. I paid $50 for a fill and it wasn't nice and it breaks after a couple of days. So went back and the lady I think her name is Tina wasn't very happy. And she keeps Talking to Kayla and the other Vietnamese people there and I know she's talking shit about me. I just see it a good service. It's very rude to speak in their language. All these nail salon should speak English. I am definitely not going back to this nail salon. Rude and not friendly. Not to mentioned Kayla tried to charge me $168 for a fill and pedicure. I complained about it and she realized she made a mistake. Nice try lady. read more

So sorry to say that this place was absolutely horrible. The lady that did my nails did not take her time. It felt like she was barely doing anything. She also was very irritated the second she came up to me. Told me in a bothered tone not to put my other foot up when I was just adjusting it. She did not trim my nails like I asked and didn't push back my cuticles enough. I also couldn't see the colors up close so both colors I tried I didn't like. I just stuck with the second one as to not be a bother to change it a second time. Not to mention the actually nail color job itself was just sub par. I should've just done my own nails and it would've turned out better. There goes $30 down the drain. read more

I've been going here to a girl named Tina for close to a year. Tina did an excellent job. Then I was told Tina was out. Went twice to another girl. My nails were destroyed. First time with other girl I was back in 2 days with 2 broken nails. Ten days later more broken nails. Tina was fantastic ! My nails were always perfect. The girl doing my nails used the drill too much and my nails broke, peeled, and weakened. When I went back a third time and asked for help with my nails. They told me to go somewhere else. I know what a standard pedicure includes, and I don't mind paying extra for additional services if they're actually performed. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. What should have been a simple gel pedicure ended with me being cut. I've had many pedicures over the years and have never been injured like this before. To make matters worse, the technician who started my pedicure didn't even finish it. Halfway through, I was handed off to another person to complete the service, which made the experience feel rushed and impersonal. The overall atmosphere could also use some improvement. I love kids, and I completely understand that life happens, but when I go to get a pedicure, manicure, or any other relaxing service, I expect a calm and professional environment. During my visit, children were in the salon opening and spilling nail supplies, which made the experience feel chaotic rather than relaxing. In my opinion, that isn't the level of professionalism I was expecting. I was really hoping to find a salon close to home that provided quality service, but this experience was very disappointing. I didn't really notice at first, but she missed the tip of both my big toes, which caused them to both chip off the same day. I would not return to this place again. There are so many places close to choose from for next time. Also, I picked out a color originally, bc it looked cute on the shelf. But it looked gray once she applied it or one toe, so she was nice and took it off. The list she gave me was not gel, which I was not aware of until she finished painting. I should have paid attention more, so that's my bad too....but they should have been more vocal also.

I would recommend that the salon keep up to date with colors, different types of nail styles and powders. To also clean their areas better and change their music. I chose to leave recently because my nails were not quality anymore. The owner was not delivering like she used to. My nails were all different sizes. The polish was sloppy and no care in the world. Make sure they have sterilized their equipment too because I ended up with unhealthy toes and they are finally better now.

I typically get the Luxury Spa Pedicure with gel. This time for my birthday month I decided to go the weekend before to get my pedicure and asked for the Collagen Spa Pedicure with gel. ($67 + $15 gel + $15), as far as color I asked to try the cat eye polish. I also told the nail tech that because they use the drill to take off the gel my big toe nails have been brittle and sometimes break at the edges before my next appointment. So I asked for some sort of builder gel or something to strengthen it. (One time one tech did rebuild a section of my toe nail with builder gel to match) Well I'm not sure she understood me. About 5 hours later sure enough my right toe nail cracked in the middle/edge. It was too late on a Saturday to go back and ask for it to be fixed. I called around 10am Monday morning and was told to come in at 4:20. I did. I never felt so judged and the looks I was getting when the receptionist went around telling about 4 different techs my complaint. I did wait about 15 minutes for someone to help me, which was fine, but then the tech who originally did my nails didn't even fix it. She said she didn't hear me when I said I wanted builder gel, just that I was saying I had issues with them breaking. So now I felt bad that someone else is having to fix it. So I obviously tipped her. (Mind you I tipped $20 to the tech who did my nails Saturday). Then she gives me a bill of $10! She ended up putting a tip on. 1. It was wayyy too long and had to ask her to file it down and still looks too long. 2. Then I noticed that the cat eye was facing the wrong way! I'm so disappointed how this was handled and these were supposed to be my birthday nails. I paid a total of $131 for a pedicure I'm not even happy with and don't match.

Letting Go

After observing serious sanitation issues at numerous nail salons in the Menifee area for 10 years,…read moreI decided to put my foot down and find a "real" nail salon. Thrilled to have found Letting Go in early March when Lorraine put me on a waiting list and got me in on a Friday when another customer cancelled. Perfect timing, too, because it was just a few days prior to me and my mother putting ourselves on "house arrest" because of the C-Virus scare. Although Lorraine is a "nail artist," I told her I only wanted something similar to what I have been doing a long time; purple base with glitter. I asked her, don't you have samples you can show me from a bottle? She says, "We don't do it that way here. I custom-make your gel colour and glitter to your specifications." I showed her some pix of my nails from the other salon, and she used that as a starting point. Now that I trust her implicitly, I will likely let her come up with her own purple colour and glitter ideas next time. It is nearly a month since I had the work done and only ONE nail is starting to chip so far. I hope I can hold out until my house arrest is over, like another month, by clipping the nails carefully. This is a small intimate salon, not crowded with people since is appointment only. Unlike most other salons, the technicians are not rushing, so plan extra time for this type of quality. Also, be prepared to pay more money here than at an assembly line salon, but it is worth every penny of it. (My last nail shop couldn't even get the colours straight cuz the samples were often in the wrong spot with the wrong number). That can't happen here because there are no samples with numbers! I can't wait to go back for my hands and feet, hopefully by late May!

You can tell she really values her work and reputation which is respectable**** Lorraine asked me to call her an hour before my appointment to see how she was doing on time. She said i was good to come in at 7. Rushed over from work and wasn't seen until 7:40!! She checked the steelers score game, made a phone call, and worked on other customers nails while working with me. As you can see in the photos my fingers are inflamed and cut up. I showed her a photo of ombre nails with one rose gold marble nail. I have no problem with a manicurist saying they cant do a certain design but she seemed confident about it and this is how it came out! 3 streaks of paint and some glitter. She told me she couldn't do the massage thats usually included cause her fingers hurt but still charged the same price. You can also expect to be rushed out with crooked nails and gunk stuck under your fingernails
