I'm new to the area and was looking for a nail salon with great reviews. Based on Yelp, I decided to give this place a try. I know what a standard pedicure includes, and I don't mind paying extra for additional services if they're actually performed. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. What should have been a simple gel pedicure ended with me being cut. I've had many pedicures over the years and have never been injured like this before. To make matters worse, the technician who started my pedicure didn't even finish it. Halfway through, I was handed off to another person to complete the service, which made the experience feel rushed and impersonal. The overall atmosphere could also use some improvement. I love kids, and I completely understand that life happens, but when I go to get a pedicure, manicure, or any other relaxing service, I expect a calm and professional environment. During my visit, children were in the salon opening and spilling nail supplies, which made the experience feel chaotic rather than relaxing. In my opinion, that isn't the level of professionalism I was expecting. I was really hoping to find a salon close to home that provided quality service, but this experience was very disappointing. My gal pal and I walked in to Pure Nails Spa on Saturday afternoon for pedicures surprised to notice the salon was empty other than the owner who opened the door for me and pointed to a chair with a foot sink. ( I have to use a walker to get around) so maneuvering around the chair is an issue.. there was a tiny tot scurrying around....an employee eating her lunch at an empty station and two nail techs staring at their phones. They offered a myriad of services and were clearly disappointed when told all we wanted was a plain pedicure with French nails. No gel please. I was directed toward one of the massive chairs with a grunt and no offer to climb in. The basic scrub and file off old color, trim and clean nails was done in record time. Now for the paint. This gave the tot 'permission to gayly bounce around, play hide and go seek and just be a typical two year old.. She was taken outside by a granny so Mom could finish. But Mom didn't finish. Keeping her eyes on the babe, my toes were painted a very crooked white trim. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I started to tell her but I don't speak Cambodian and Mom doesn't speak English and guess what ? The owner couldn't help as he barely spoke either.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was offered a toothy grin and a nod of the head, "It be okay.". I guess Mom got bored with painting as she was now taking photos of the tot with her phone camera. She stuck foamy pink things between my toes and took off with granny and the kid While I tried to figure out how soon I could paint over my weirdly designed toes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]"All done." Declared the owner from the front desk. leaving me trapped in my chair with pink foamy things, striped toes and a deep longing for a dry martini.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. What a weird adventure. Blown away that anyone would give this place 5 stars - mani- pedi was just ok. My gel pedi had to have about 4 layers of polish and looks just ok - not sure if polish is old or ? They don't use cuticle cream to soften and cut cuticles and a few other misses. I guess I need to lower my expectations from what i use to get in Irvine. I had been going to this nail salon for over 8 years, when Julie was still the owner. Jasmine always came through, sadly Jasmine is no longer there. I went to this nail salon not knowing if new ownership, I went in for a basic pedicure and gel manicure. Was very disappointed the nail techs couldn't do a basic French tip. What nail salon doesn't do French tip? I was asked to come back a couple hrs later so the one technician that would attempt them could do it. No thanks, that's why I had made an appointment in the first place. I told them not to worry and just do the gel color. I have a feeling the tech that did my nails is an apprentice, she struggled to keep the gel just on the nail, kept wiping the excess off and then in doing so kept getting it all over my fingers. I'm extremely disappointed and needless to say I will have to find a new nail salon. read more

I originally gave 4 stars but now decreasing to 3 stars (I would give 2.5 but I can't) because of this. I've been to other places where t nails lasted 1.5-2 months. Pros: friendly staff, good classic pedicure, easy appt booking Cons: cuticle care not included, SNS manicure could be better Booking appointments was super easy via phone. I called day of to add more services and they were able to accommodate my request. My party was seen soon after we arrived and everything took about one hour (three classic pedicures, two classic manicures, one SNS manicure). I really like the results of the classic pedicure but not so much for the SNS manicure as it looked too thick/bulky and not uniform for my liking. Additionally, our cuticles were not trimmed nor were we asked if we wanted this service. The prices are very affordable for all the services provided by the salon. They are upfront of prices as they show you a full menu of everything when you sit down. I would come back only for a classic manicure or pedicure. read more

While this is never good news, it was nice to know prior to arriving. I was able to run a couple errands and then come back. I really appreciated the communication. Started coming here after I walked in one day a couple years ago, Jasmine did my full set and I said, okay I'm never going to anyone else. I have RA so it's difficult to move my hands around, and Jasmine is the only person in any nail salon from Wildomar to Temecula that's ever been understanding about it, and very careful with my hands. I love her, and she does an amazing job with my nails every time. Now I always call at least a few days in advance and make an appointment as they're only open Thursday- Sunday. I am solely basing this review on my experience on my nails which again Jasmine did an outstanding job once again! However when I drove up there was a banner stating Under New Management...which was fine, what I wasn't expecting a price increase of over 20% from last appointment, again doable. Now for the strange part... there's an older gentleman without shoes on sleeping in one of the pedicure chairs at one point actually snoring! We made fun of him, but actually it wasn't professional and if he was one of the new owners very unsettling. I'm not sure what purpose he had there. I will be going back to Jasmine as she's amazing, but to the man, you should really find another spot to sleep! read more
