I visited this salon twice. The first time was for my daughter's nails, and we had such a great…read moreexperience that I told myself I would definitely come back for my own appointment. Unfortunately, my experience was very different the second time around. I work in an office and spend most of my day typing, so I specifically wanted short, practical acrylic nails. When I explained that to Ken, he didn't seem very pleased that I wanted them kept short. I wasn't looking for long, dramatic nails--just something clean, professional, and well done. I also took advantage of the complimentary pedicure that was offered. However, my full set was completely finished before the pedicure even started, despite my nails being done on the spa side where the pedicure was taking place. From a distance, my nails look okay, but up close there are quite a few imperfections. The shape is inconsistent from nail to nail, some are noticeably thicker than others, and a few have a slightly bumpy appearance. The overall finish just wasn't as polished as I expected. On a positive note, the pedicure itself was excellent and I was very happy with that service. While I would consider returning for a pedicure, I will likely go elsewhere for acrylic nails in the future.

I know what a standard pedicure includes, and I don't mind paying extra for additional services if they're actually performed. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. What should have been a simple gel pedicure ended with me being cut. I've had many pedicures over the years and have never been injured like this before. To make matters worse, the technician who started my pedicure didn't even finish it. Halfway through, I was handed off to another person to complete the service, which made the experience feel rushed and impersonal. The overall atmosphere could also use some improvement. I love kids, and I completely understand that life happens, but when I go to get a pedicure, manicure, or any other relaxing service, I expect a calm and professional environment. During my visit, children were in the salon opening and spilling nail supplies, which made the experience feel chaotic rather than relaxing. In my opinion, that isn't the level of professionalism I was expecting. I was really hoping to find a salon close to home that provided quality service, but this experience was very disappointing. Sadly, I'll have to continue my search elsewhere.
