I went here with my three year-old daughter to get her first manicure and pedicure. I had the worst experience, I wish I could say that it was enjoyable, but it wasn't the woman who was doing my little girls. Nails was extremely impatient with her and pretty much I paid for a $30 for a Manny and peddi (kids) for her not to even cut her nails or even clean them pretty much put them in a tub, put lotion and painted them. I kept asking her to put quick dry which was ignored. And not only that they messed up three times, the owner literally was standing over my daughter grabbed a piece of paper like it was gonna make the polish dry. We still left with a janky job. Working with kids it's pretty common to use a quick dry since they move a lot but not only that I paid 30 dollars for not even my kids nails not to even be cut or cleaned. read more

Tried giving this place a chance a few times but it's just been getting worse, went exactly 6 days ago for a mani & pedi for myself and 11 year old daughter. For one my daughter's pedicure in which they charged me full price for did not come with the massage we paid for it was the simplest pedi for $50 . I was shocked to have spent $193 and with no exaggeration one day later have a chip on my finger nail from the gel on my index finger. This used to be one of my favorite nail shops. I would go in pretty often and always had good service. The last couple of times my pedicure was so rushed. They did two strokes of the pumice stone, and set a timer for the three minute massage. I don't know what's happened, but it has become a quick get you in and out place. I would absolutely recommend Tina at this nail salon to any one. Even my mom and sister go to her. I won't go to anyone else, her quality of work is so good. She's personable and always game for any design ideas or photos I bring her and she always knows exactly what to do. Her French tip designs are always perfect. But what I will say though is that there is a reason I won't go to anyone else in the shop but her. I was so thankful to finally find "my" nail place after moving out here a few years ago. Tina, the manager, is always so kind, friendly and accommodating. I started going to her for gel-x and transitioned to Y per her suggestion (pronounced like the letter E) and then Diane for my pedicure. Everyone is always so nice, has a friendly demeanor and doesn't make me feel like an inconvenience. Almost always right on time for all my appts which means a lot to me plus I can't get both mani & pedi done at the same time. Clean and comfortable. I love all the pedicure options- very refreshing with all the herbal options. They have a wide variety of polishes/gels, but I wish they had OPIs colors since I have some favorites from them. Absolutely overpriced and honestly shocking. I was charged over $100 for Gel-X, and that's before the surprise add-ons. The nail tech stacked on extra fees for the Gel-X tips, the French, and a some basic design--an additional $50 I wasn't told about upfront. There was zero transparency with pricing, and the experience did not match the cost at all. Plenty of salons nearby charge WAY less with far better quality, service, and actual skilled techs who don't play games with hidden fees. If you decide to go, ask for every single price upfront or you'll get hit with a bill that makes no sense. Consider this your warning. You're welcome. read more

This is my usual place for a decent pedicure but this last time was less than satisfactory. I didn't ask a name of the the nail tech, I guess that's the right term, but she kept insisting for me to bend my knee to a range that was not comfortable to my old arthritic knee and so I was a bit figitity. I was able to adjust the seat to help the position but she seemed annoyed with that. I feel like she rushed through the process and kept looking around the shop during the treatment. Then when she started the scrub process she tore my skin on the side of my toe and not focused on the bottom of the toe where the calluses are, as we know Anyway I tipped her like normal because I know it's hard to make a living these days. I did mention it to the "manager" but there was no acknowledgement or comment. However, I am considering looking for a different salon for my next appointment. My 50$ pedicure was a real disappointment!!! I got gel this time since I was told it would last about 2 weeks longer ...I guess I"ll see. read more

My friend got the same exact design in pink but got a long set and they charged her only $80 so the prices just fluctuate and are so random. Overall, would I recommend? Ehh. She did not say $50 and up. When I went to check out, she told me it will be $60. I reminded her when I called she told me $50. However, as they did once before she said "we did extra things". They did nothing extra they put on tips with an acrylic overlay. Nothing that should've been an extra charge. It was just bad business. Disappointing because the girls do a good job. But the manager is not honest always apologizes, but still continues to charge you more. Bad business practices. Will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

Tina is the best. I went somewhere else and requested just red nails coffin with a red flame on my ring finger. They were horrible. I then went to diamond nails and only waited around 20 minutes to have Tina fix them. I added before and after photos. Highly recommend this place and Tina. Tried this place out for a gel mani. My girl Takeya loves it so I had to try it at least once. I went in wanting an ombre gel mani. There's a good size parking lot outside. It's on the corner of Hot Springs and Winchester in Murrieta across Aldi. This strip mall is still in the works and there will be a Ding Tea nearby real soon!! YASSS!!! lol Anyway, on to the nitty gritty... While I got what I wanted, the process wasn't the greatest. The outcome looked okay, but upon further inspection, I noticed it wasn't a smooth ombre. I think she used a brush and that just doesn't cut it. While it looked alright from afar, it wasn't the best work I've had done on my natural nails. I've been told at another salon that dip is the way to go if you want ombre, so maybe I'll go that route next time. Ever since the pandemic started though, I've been hesitant to do dip powder nails. The atmosphere in here is nice. It reminds me of Crystal Nails on Hot Springs because their decor is the same. Bright inside with fancy chandeliers. They keep the doors open for ventilation which is good, but the square footage is smaller than Crystal. For that reason, I can still smell the fumes of nail polish which I don't like. The stations are closer together than I'd like. They do have plexiglass barriers up at the mani stations which is good. The pedi stations don't have them. As I was getting my mani done, the lady started doing her thing and had me put my hands under the LED light to cure. Idk why but my nails started to BURN!! Like, I was legit wincing and the lady next to me looked over a few times. Idk if the burn came from the gel builder she had put on (to make your nails stronger) or what, but the entire time my nails were under the lights, it felt like they had been lit with a match!! In addition to the burning sensation, she had cleaned and filed my nails prior to putting the polish on. I've never had this experience...she was SHOVING the filed nail bits underneath my nails...like in the corners on the sides!! What the what?!? She pushed the filings under my nails with her own nails! Is that supposed to make my nails stronger or something?? That was definitely a first for me and will be the last. I'm also used to soaking my nails in a little water bath and she didn't do that at all. I didn't catch her name but she was an older lady. She was polite but I don't think I'll be having her do my nails if I return. The pedi I had done here on a different day went fine. Overall, I'm not a huge fan of this place, but my girl still loves it. I'm not completely barring it from my list of nail salons, but it for sure isn't at the top of my list.
