This is the BEST nail salon in town. I've been coming here for a few years now and I have never been disappointed. I am finally writing a (well deserved) review because I just got married this weekend and the owner went above and beyond to make my nails perfect. I came in to have my nails done and Hanh did a great job on my first set. After leaving and inspecting my nails I had a few small things I wanted fixed- I was being extra picky since they were for my wedding. When I went back to ask for the changes the owner was so sweet and actually ended up convincing me to re-do my entire set with one of their nail artists- Kevin. I offered to pay since I knew how much work had been done but she really just wanted me to have the best nails possible for my wedding. This is my second time coming here and it was fantastic! All the different pedicure options are really unique and relaxing. Kevin did my pedicure both times and did an excellent job shaping and cleaning up my feet. The vibes of the salon is super relaxing and has plenty of entertainment for the long time you're waiting for your service to be completed. Katie up at the front is super sweet and accommodating. One week update already cracking and peeling off. Shouldn't be happening with hard gel. Owner is just as combative online as in person my nails were not thin and red, not sure where that is coming from, the owner was not even near us when my toe polish was being removed . There was ZERO soaking on my toes until i said something about it to the tech. (My nails were not previous damaged!!!! As I've been going to the same amazing salon with the same two techs for years but they're are in OC and I was trying to find someone to support local!) Simply asking to soak off shouldn't have been that big of a deal. I let her know I thoroughly understood using the drill was necessary and unavoidable. (I understand how the top coat needs to be removed in order to soak the remaining gel off) I was just asking for it to not be overused. Her tech obviously didn't know what she was doing it's why my nails look the way do after only a week. read more

The tall skinny man who did my nails tried cutting them too short, did not push the cuticles back and did the shape after the gel polish. After having several disappointing experiences, I won't be coming back here. This is supposed to be a more natural, gentler on your nails salon (at least it was under the first owner, the new one doesn't seem to make this a priority) After having fake nails on for years my nails are brittle and thin so I've been getting gel or gel-x so I can soak them off. The last 3 times I went, I asked for a soak off with NO DRILL. the first time the nail tech acted like they didn't understand me and did it anyway. The second time I talked to the owner upon arrival, but the nail tech again, still used the drill and when I said I wanted no drill they came up with some excuse. After the drill my nails were so thin thej were pink and hurt. The third time I called ahead to talk to the owner and explained why I didn't want the drill and to please allot time for a full soak off. This time, when the nail tech pulled out the drill and I said "no drill please" they started arguing with me. The owner came and got involved and started gaslighting me in front of the whole salon that the drill was fine and they needed to use it after telling me on the phone they would not use the drill. Humiliating! If a client is expressing a concern and asking for time to be allotted for a regular soak off, you should comply. On top of this, my pedicure bowl was dirty and not cleaned out, they just put a plastic bag in the bowl. Then they tried to use unsanitized tools on me. I've been coming to this place since it opened. It used to be a super nice and clean salon with friendly staff and great services. They've lost all their good staff and it is so dirty in there. Paid $90 for a full set and my nails popped off after only a few days. Completely unacceptable. When I contacted them, they refused a refund and immediately tried to blame me, claiming my nails were "too short and brittle" only AFTER the nails failed. If that were true, that should have been disclosed before taking my money. Accusing a client after the fact is unprofessional. They also implied I removed the nails myself, which I did not. They popped off. The tone was rude, dismissive, and defensive instead of solution-oriented. Being told this has "never happened before" doesn't change the reality that it happened to me. I was leaving for vacation and left with no nails and no resolution, forced to pay another salon to fix their work. Nails lasting three days for $90 is ridiculous, and the attitude made it worse. A lot of state board violations, pedicure bowls not being sanitized AND disinfected properly. Putting a plastic bag in a freshly used pedicure bowl is not ok! I saw a dirty bowl with hair, cotton balls and clearly dirty sit there right beside me during my pedicure. Halfway through a couple walked in for pedicures. The young girl at the front, comes and takes the dirty stuff out of the bowl, placed a bag in it, and starts filling it up. Then walks the client and sits her down to put her feet in a dirty bowl! I had to tell myself well, every bowl is being treated like this, so my bowl is dirty too. Very nasty and shame on you! Barbicide is not being used, point blank period. Every bowl should be properly sanitized; rinse, clean with a brush and soap; rinsed, then it is supposed to soak with barbicide and water for 15 mins after each client. I am triple licensed in CA and I have worked as a beauty instructor. I dissect the proper process of state board regulation's. This is unacceptable. Nothing labeled as far as clean or dirty. The floor of the pedicure stations were wet and dirty. The Same brushes are being used on everyone without cleaning, especially the acetone clean up brush! This should be a clean brush every time. This place needs a state-board visit! You are doing a disservice to all of your paying clients! Safety should always come first. The crazy thing, two employees were sitting in a couple pedicures chairs on their phones, which is so unprofessional, how about clean up a bit, maybe start with the pedicure bowls. How about taking some pride in your work appearance and coming to work with a professional appearance, not the clothes you looked like you slept in. Like brush your hair; let's care a little bit! Business owner; how about set some higher expectations for staff and professionalism. The pedicure I had; she cut both of my toes way too short most of my skin was exposed. She then realized what she did and said she could put and enhancement on to make the even and longer. Uhhh no! I had gel polish on my skin. You've done enough. It's a no for me! Do better! On a positive note: they offer you a drink. read more

I like how this nail salon uses non-toxic and natural products. They use oranges to dip your hands in and it smells lovely! They also have drinks available right when you enter. The place is serene and has a nice vibe to it. I got a gel manicure and a basic pedicure. They both did great! They were both very polite and attentive.
