Place was filthy. Did not sanitize tools after previous client. No prep on gel manicure and polish literally peeled off the next day! No current license displayed! So many things wrong. My mom booked an appointment for us at 9:00am for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures and we were the 1st ones to arrive. I would like to provide a fair and honest review, you receive what you pay for. These prices remind me of when times were good, but unfortunately it seems quality of nails is okay and we finished at 11:00am. I got nicked multiple times during my manicure from Ron. I got a French tip on my hands and feet but for the hands the tips & nail length do not match each other. For my feet, Rose did an amazing job. Everything matches and service was good, no nicks. Plus she offered to give me sparkle. My mom's review: she said "Ann was awesome. Very friendly and cleaned nails very well and no nicks." I truly wish I could provide a better review but my service for my manicure felt rushed and unattended for since Ron kept answering the phone and nicking my cuticles at the same time. Note: I told him he keeps nicking my cuticles and it was uneven but he told me everything okay. Maybe they need a receptionist. In terms of ambiance I think things need to be renewed or deep cleaned. However, I understand the nostalgia vibe. I hope the owners can read this and make changes for 2025. I truly wish the best for their future. read more

If I could leave a zero I would. My mother has come here for years and I never understood why she wouldn't try somewhere else. Finally we did after arriving today only for them to rudely just say no to her. Their customer service skills are HORRIBLE and nail service is mediocre at best. I called Sun City nails and from the initial phone call what a breath of fresh air! They were polite, friendly and took my mom right away. I don't like to write bad reviews but I see so many older women coming to Rose nails and I don't understand why when they are treated so poorly. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Two stars is being really generous. I started with Ron, he glued the tips on which kept falling off. Then proceeded to put the dip powder on, and shaped them. And to be honest, the shape isn't that bad. It's that happens next. He tells me to go wash my hands, then sits my mom down and then does her nails. And passes me on to another lady, who does my nails. These nails are for my birthday. And let me tell you. I am so embarrassed. I asked for a simple look, which is the picture in this post. And then the next photo is what I got. And ugly uneven black, white bubbles under my nail, and "stars". I asked for gold specs, and got sliver with chunky glitter. Immediately I called my bestie when I walked out, so she could fix them if she could. These are so embarrassing, if you are looking for a basic solid color then this is the place for you. So I found this place by accident, I had just needed to have a broken nail fixed and my regular salon was closed. But I am now a regular here The salon is a bit dated (decor etc), you can tell it's been there for awhile (which is a great thing!) But I'm not going for the esthetics of the place, can they do nails good is what I want to know?!? They are a husband and wife that own the nail Salon and they are so sweet. Ron does my nails and he's fantastic! I love him because he's old school, no BS trying to up-sell you. Just a 30 minute fill and Bam! You're done. He does a great job, i never have any issues with breakage or lifting and I go every 3-4 weeks. He's very friendly but doesn't talk too much. My nail time is my "me time", I like to relax, listen to music etc. Occasionally I like to do Nail designs that I've seen online and he's great at getting it to look like the pic. Nancy his wife is the sweetest! She's always asking about my son and my trips (they always remember what you tell them from your previous appt). I'm about Quality and Comfort. Sweet loving people. They made my feet look like they are ready for a photo shoot. Im sure this is my permanent spot. The environment is positive they are always talking and laughing with me or if they see im tired they let me relax. She put me to sleep one day the pedicure felt so good. This place is old and dirty the staff sucks and picks who they want to help. I walked in with my dad I took him there to get a pedicure and there was a man working there yelling at us if we needed help. He wasnt doing anything but just sitting there listening to music so my dad walked there to him, he asked what he wanted and my dad said a pedicure he looked at my dad and said come back in 4 hours that he couldn't help him, he was so rude about it and did that in front of other customers. Once I told them all I needed was a removal she said they were too busy and didn't have time. She didn't offer a wait time or anything just they can't do it. I went to happiness nails in Perris and they are far busier (5 ppl being helped and 2 ahead of me with 5 employees as far as I can see) instead of turning me away they told me it would be at least a half hour which is fine cause I'm not in a hurry. Came in for full set today, I was taken! Once the owner started shaping my nails i knew it wasn't gonna go very well.. shape was uneven! Gap between cuticle and nail (as if i need a fill) when it came down to color, the cloud white was the color I really wanted, but the owner said No! So i pick baby pink, but when she painted my nails the color was so uneven! She said some pinks do that, she asked me to pick a darker color. So i did a few shades darker. This place is horrific! Went in for a dip manicure and they don't do dip. Supposedly got a gel manicure after soaking my hands in acetone which I've never had done before. The man yelled at me when I questioned him and told me "he knows how to do his job". Slapped on tHe polish. I had to ask for lotion because my hands were so dried out from soaking in acetone. They don't take debit cards. The next day the polish peeled off. The place is dirty and they only want your money. Stay away from this place!!! read more

They don't use the plastic cover for the pedi station so your foot is touching where everyone else foot has been which is gross and unsanitary. Pedi was $20 which isn't much but it was very rushed the lady although very nice was super rough on my foot . Now my friend went to get a full set and the guy was very rude to her and she told him the color she wanted and he got the wrong one so when she told him he got even more mad as if it was her fault. He was also the one taking phone calls and he was just very rude overall to anybody who was calling telling them they didn't have anything available that day but then when someone would walk in he would tell them they did and to come back in a couple mins. Charged my friend $40 for short basic nails when I get really long nails for less. Over priced. I won't be coming here again read more

Cheap regular pedicures for $12.00, full set was $18 I think. You get what you pay for, the lady did take her time, which was nice, but I cant say that my pedicure was more than satisfactory. However, she was so adorable and sweet that I will be coming back. She's not one to keep asking for "upgrades" lol, but actually offered small extras for free. Always nice will stay open for you. They were super nice to me and my baby they didn't make me feel like my child was a burden to them. My nails always come out good and stay on for more then 2weeks. They dont try and get you to pay more $$ to upgrade. They can have conversations with you and not with each other. read more

It is with a sad heart that I write this review. I gave one star, only because I HAD to or couldn't post a review. I walked in to get a fill. I was greeted and sat down. I showed "Ron" my nails and asked for the same LIGHT SPARKLE that I had on my nails previously from another salon. He said he could do it. Ron grabbed a cloth, that appeared used and filthy, wet it and proceeded to wipe my hands off. I asked if it was clean and he said he washed it off. He was kind and gentle UNTIL he got To the gold metal file. He filed my pinky nail and proceeded to file my skin. I told him and he said I have to. I told him he didn't HAVE to file my skin. He did not completely file my pinky and there is a bump on the nail. The UV light he asked me to put my hands in was absolutely filthy. I asked if it was clean and his reply was, " It's just polish and dust" I held my hands in the air under the light because I didn't want to get the dirt on my hands. He painted one coat of polish and was going to put sparkle on and I asked if I could have two coats..... he said .... " You want two coats? Sparkle to thick not like you had..." I'm thinking of course. I told him if he painted it too thick that I wouldn't pay for it because that is not what we agreed on. He said " you want two coats?" I replied, " yes..." and I told him he was making me feel uncomfortable by the way he was talking to me. There was another lady getting a manicure and she was unhappy with what was being done to her skin, she just wanted her nails straight and filed. Well, Ron left me to go over and tell the customer that she was looking at her nails wrong. And said to her, " Just let her do her job " Then he came back to me. At this point I told him I didn't not want the Sparkle to please just finish the polish and I would be on my way. Thank you. I let him know that I understand that this is his business , but the way he speaks to people should be a little kinder. Especially because he is in an area where the clientele are older people. I hate to write things like this that are so negative. But PUBLIC BEWARE. Although the prices are great if you're in a tight budget.... pay the extra and go somewhere else. read more
